Congressional Client of Loren Merchan’s Firm – Who Was Also LEAD COUNSEL for 1st Trump Impeachment – Coached Michael Cohen for Cross-Examination.

Representative Daniel Goldman (D-NY) admits helping prepare disgraced and disbarred attorney Michael Cohen for his cross-examination in the Manhattan-based hush money trial of former President Donald J. Trump. The New York Democrat, who served as lead counsel during the first Trump impeachment, is a client of Authentic Campaigns, where the daughter of the trial judge, Juan Merchan, works as a partner.

“I have deposed Michael Cohen. I have met with him a number of times to prepare him,” Rep. Goldman said during an appearance on MSNBC‘s Morning Joe earlier today. The New York Democrat intimated to hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski that he has actively crafted Cohen‘s strategy for handling the cross-examination by Trump‘s defense attorneys, which is expected to occur later today.

Attorneys for the former President have demanded Judge Merchan recuse himself from the trial over numerous conflicts of interest related to his daughter Loren Merchan‘s campaign fundraising business and her potential profiting from the prosecution of Trump. Thus far, the Democrat-aligned judge has refused the recusal requests.

Instead, he issued a gag order on the former President, which prohibits him from responding to attacks by prosecution witnesses — including serial perjurer Michael Cohen and porn star Stormy Daniels. Additionally, Trump has been barred from mentioning the judge’s daughter and her ties to a bevy of national Democratic Party leaders who have urged on the lawfare campaign against Trump.

The National Pulse has reported extensively on Loren Merchan’s ties to top national Democratic Party leaders. Her firm, Authentic Campaigns, has a notable list of clients, including the Democratic Attorneys General Association and, by conjunction, Letitia James. Other clients named are Russia hoax propagator Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the Brennan Center — which backed Democrats’ failed efforts to remove Trump from the 2024 ballot — and Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.

Illegal Deported by Trump Re-Entered U.S. Recently, Now Charged with Killing 3-Month-Old.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has confirmed that Melvin Jesus Aquino Enriquez, a Mexican illegal alien charged with causing grievous physical harm to a three-month-old child who later died, was previously deported from the U.S. under Donald Trump. The 26-year-old illegal alien is also accused of violently strangling the infant’s mother.

Aquino Enriquez, featured in The National Pulse’s most recent migrant crime round-up, is now confirmed to have been arrested for criminal trespass in Harris County, Texas, in March 2020. He was subject to an ICE detainer and eventually issued with a deportation order in September and repatriated to Mexico.

“On an unknown date and at an unknown location, Aquino illegally re-entered the U.S. On April 15, 2024, [Enforcement Removal Operations] Houston immigration officers encountered Aquino at the Montgomery County (Texas) Jail following his arrest for allegedly assaulting a woman and her infant child and an immigration detainer was lodged with the jail,” an ICE spokesman said, adding that the agency “mourns the tragic loss of this young life.”

Currently, Aquino Enriquez is charged with causing injury to a child and assault-family violence. However, further charges may be added following an autopsy to “further determine the circumstances leading to the untimely and devastating death of the child.”

Many illegal aliens who commit crimes in the U.S. prove to be people previously released by Border Patrol, previously deported, or previously arrested or even convicted of crimes on U.S. soil.  These include Laken Riley’s suspected murderer, Jose Antonio Ibarra, who was wanted for shoplifting and skipping court when he allegedly killed the nursing student.

Nevertheless, Democrat Senators voted against the Laken Riley Act, which would have required illegal aliens responsible for thefts, burglary, larceny, or shoplifting to be detained until their deportation.

Germany Mulls Conscription for 18-Year-Olds.

In response to escalating tensions with Russia, Germany‘s Defense Minister, Boris Pistorius, is advocating for reinstating compulsory military service for 18-year-olds. Originally discontinued in 2011, the proposed initiative comes as the German military faces a 21,000-soldier shortfall needed to fulfill NATO defense plans.

Pistorius could reveal the chosen approach, currently under final discussion, next month. A trio of possible plans have been unveiled via leaked documentation obtained by German newspaper Die Welt. The first incorporates compulsory military service for both male and female citizens after their 18th birthday. The second requires suitable male recruits to fill out applications and undergo testing, with voluntary participation for women. The final proposal presents optional recruitment forms to all school leavers, an option deemed “least promising” by officials.

Pistorius remains adamant about reinstating some form of conscription, labeling the past suspension as a “mistake.” The opposition party, the CDU, surprisingly supports Pistorius’s stance, even though conscription was halted under its watch during Angela Merkel’s time as chancellor.

While Chancellor Olaf Scholz affirms that Germany will not return to a 400,000-strong conscripted army, he has not ruled out more modest-size compulsory service. Funding for implementing conscription is yet to be established by the federal government. Pistorius’s recent appeal during a U.S. trip calling for more lenient national debt regulations to support the scheme may spark internal government disagreements.

European nations are on high alert following Russian President Vladimir Putin’s declaration of nuclear forces readiness for a potential global war. NATO has adopted an increasingly belligerent stance against Russia as it continues to achieve success on the Ukrainian battlefield. Earlier this month, French President Emmanuel Macron hinted at the eventuality of deploying NATO troops to Ukraine to fight Russian forces.

Surprise! Look Who’s Raking in Cash from Biden’s Border Crisis.

Taxpayers’ dollars earmarked to aid asylum seekers and other legal and illegal immigrants who have entered the United States under the Biden government have proved to be a windfall for left-wing nonprofits working on resettlement programs. Ostensibly, migrant resettlement is overseen by the federal government. However, the federal departments involved often contract certain tasks out to nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs). This is allegedly done as a cost-saving measure.

The Unaccompanied Children Program, run by the Biden Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), is charged with the care and resettlement of unaccompanied migrant minors who enter the United States. However, much of the work done by The Unaccompanied Children Program — and the ORR — is contracted out to a handful of nonprofits and NGOs.

Three of the largest beneficiaries of the government contracts are Global Refuge, Southwest Key Programs, and Endeavors, Inc., which have seen their revenue grow from $597 million in 2019 to $2 billion in 2022. “The amount of taxpayer money they are getting is obscene,” said Charles Marino, a former adviser to Obama’s Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, in a recent interview with The Free Press.

Nonprofit and NGO groups like Global Refuge, Southwest Key Programs, and Endeavors, Inc. have spent millions of taxpayer dollars on frivolous programs, including pet therapy sessions and “people-plant interactions.” In one instance, Endeavors, Inc. paid a music therapist $533,000 in a single year. Additionally, Endeavors shelled out nearly $8 million for housing migrants in hotels.

The ORR budget, which has ballooned from $1.8 billion in 2018 to at least $7.3 billion this fiscal year, is fueling the migrant cash-in. Groups like Endeavors, Inc. can receive upwards of 99 percent of their budget in taxpayer dollars from the federal government.

Biden’s DHS Released Illegal Convicted of Murder.

Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a convicted killer and illegal alien from Colombia into the United States. At the time of his arrest at the U.S.-Mexico border near San Luis, Arizona, in November 2023, United States Border Patrol agents did not realize that the 49-year-old Colombian national was a convicted murderer. He was subsequently given a Notice To Appear (NTA) and released into the United States.

The Colombian national was arrested in his home country in 2016 and convicted of murder, receiving a 17-year prison sentence. It is unclear why he was released or able to leave his home country and make his way to the United States. Former President Donald J. Trump has routinely accused nations in Central and South America of emptying their prisons and sending dangerous criminals with whom they no longer wish to deal north to the U.S. border.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested the Colombian national again on May 6, 2024, near Pittsfield, Massachusetts, where he resided. The National Pulse has previously reported that the generous sanctuary laws in Massachusetts have made it attractive to illegal aliens. Massachusetts courts have also made it increasingly difficult for federal immigration officials to secure detainers on illegals arrested by state and local police.

Congress estimates Biden‘s DHS releases tens of thousands of illegal aliens into the interior United States every few weeks. Meanwhile, internal DHS data suggests upwards of 85 percent of illegals encountered by U.S. border agents are subsequently released into the country after processing. Biden’s Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who was impeached by House Republicans but not removed by the Senate, has refused multiple requests by Congress for comprehensive data detailing how many illegal immigrants have been released into the country.

At Least 10 More Boeing Whistleblowers to Come Forward with ‘Serious’ Issues.

An attorney who represented two Boeing whistleblowers, both of whom died recently under suspicious circumstances, says that he is representing more than ten other whistleblowers who are determined to speak out about “serious” safety issues at the aerospace giant. Brian Knowles was the attorney for Joshua Dean and John Barnett, previously affiliated with Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems, who passed away due to a sudden illness and an alleged self-inflicted gunshot, respectively.

“Josh and John were not the only two aviation whistleblowers we were representing. We have more than ten others that we have been representing, and we’re hearing from other people coming forward as well,” Knowles said. According to Knowles, the whistleblowers are a mixture of current and former Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems employees.

“I think these folks now feel an even greater need to speak out and come forward,” said Knowles. “They were all raising serious quality and safety issues that they had reported internally and then ended up reporting to regulators…It is brave of them to come forward.”

Among those Knowles currently represents is Santiago Paredes, a former Spirit AeroSystems employee who this week alleged that he was pressured into downplaying issues identified during fuselage inspections.

Boeing has been plagued by several high-profile accidents involving its planes. A six-week audit by the Federal Aviation Administration earlier this year found dozens of quality control issues with Boeing’s production of its 737 Max aircraft. In April, another Boeing whistleblower, Sam Salehpour, testified before the U.S. Senate that it is only a matter of time before a Boeing aircraft is involved in a catastrophic disaster.

Feds Warn: Terror Groups Could Target Pride Month.

In a joint public service announcement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have cautioned that foreign terrorist organizations may target “LGBTQIA+-related events and venues” during Pride Month in June.

“Organizations like ISIS may seek to exploit increased gatherings associated with the upcoming June 2024 Pride Month,” the agencies said.

The threat is intensified by the existing heightened threat environment resulting from the war in Gaza, the FBI and DHS believe. They note the Islamic State “called for followers to conduct attacks on unidentified soft targets” last February, although not “LGBTQIA+ venues” specifically. They also note that June 12 will be the eighth anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub Orlando shooting in Florida, which saw 49 people at a gay nightclub killed by a jihadist of Afghan heritage.

In April, FBI Director Christopher Wray warned that the U.S. faces an “elevated” risk of a jihadist attack similar to the one at the Crocus City Hall concert near Moscow, Russia, which saw 145 people killed by Tajik migrants.

“Our most immediate concern has been that individuals or small groups will draw twisted inspiration from the events in the Middle East to carry out attacks here at home. But now increasingly concerning is the potential for a coordinated attack here in the homeland, akin to the ISIS-K attack we saw at the Russia Concert Hall,” Wray told Congress.

The Russians responded to the Crocus Hall attack, which they have linked to the Ukrainian government, by organizing mass deportations.

EU Pushes ‘Migrant Pact’ In Last Ditch Move to Halt Populist Surge in Continent-Wide Elections Next Month.

In an attempt to starve the populist right of political capital, the European Union (EU) has endorsed vast reforms to its asylum system to address the controversial issues that arose due to unregulated migration during the 2015 migrant crisis. The reforms were approved as part of The New Pact on Migration and Asylum, a set of legislative changes aimed at handling unauthorized entries more effectively.

Despite opposition by Hungary and Poland, other EU member states embraced the revisions eagerly, hoping they will resolve disagreements that have been simmering since the sudden influx of over a million migrants, primarily from war-torn areas like Syria and Iraq.

These changes, however, will not be implemented until 2026, deferring any immediate solution to the issue that has split nations over their responsibilities towards migrants. Critics have expressed concerns that this pact may end in more exploitative agreements with poorer nations that people flee or traverse to reach Europe.

In the new system, countries of first arrival will screen migrants and store the information in a new database, Eurodac. If the law is enacted and enforced fully by member countries, the newly approved reforms will mark a significant shift in the EU’s handling of migration, giving countries a degree of flexibility in lending asylum support while ensuring stricter border protocols. This change has already received pushback, notably from Hungary, spotlighting challenges that lie ahead in the implementation process.

Concerns over mass migration have been a driving factor in increasing European support for right-wing populist parties, such as Alternative for Germany (AfD) in Germany, Party for Freedom (PVV) in the Netherlands, and National Rally (RN) in France. Right-wing populist parties have seen a surge in support over the last few years and are expected to make significant gains in the European elections next month.

Hezbollah Leader Threatens Europe With Fresh Wave of Migrants.

Hassan Nasrallah, the Islamist cleric and leader of Hezbollah, is pressuring the Lebanese government to allow a Syrian migrant armada to sail for Europe. In a televised address, he said it is time for “a national decision that says: we have opened the sea… whoever wants to leave for Europe, for Cyprus, the sea is in front of you. Take a boat and board it.”

Cyprus is a member of the European Union (EU) and its borderless Schengen Area and is already experiencing a massive influx of boat migrants — up from just 78 in the first three months of 2023 to over 2,000 in the first three months of 2024.

While the influx seems small compared to Joe Biden’s border crisis in the United States, the Greek Christian population of Cyprus is under one million, and the new arrivals and past arrivals during the migrant crisis of 2015-16 have put it under enormous pressure. The north of the island is under Turkish occupation following an invasion in the 1970s, and the Turkish government has settled hundreds of thousands of Muslims in the so-called Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus — which only Ankara recognizes.

Nasrallah claims Hezbollah does not “propose forcing displaced Syrians to board boats and leave for Cyprus and Europe,” but it is likely many of the approximately two million Syrian refugees in Lebanon would do so if the Lebanese authorities stopped trying to prevent voyages.

Hezbollah is not officially part of the Lebanese government, but it essentially has free rein in the south of the fractured country, which was majority Christian until Muslim immigration and Christian emigration permanently changed its demographics.

Soros Outlet Credits The National Pulse With RINO Charlie Spies’s RNC Ouster.

The George Soros-funded left-wing nonprofit Media Matters for America is crediting The National Pulse with the ouster of anti-Trump lawyer Charlie Spies from his role with the Republican National Committee (RNC). Media Matters notes that a series of articles published by The National Pulse detailing concerns over Spies’s previous employment with the Ron DeSantis and Jeb Bush presidential campaigns played a critical role in pushing Spies out the door at the RNC.

“Several other key figures in MAGA media also targeted Spies, in part because of his unwillingness to claim that the 2020 election was stolen and for his past work with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who unsuccessfully challenged Trump in the Republican presidential primary,” Media Matters writes. They add, citing reporting by The National Pulse: “Spies has also worked for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, and other establishment Republicans figures.”

“The National Pulse, whose founder and editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam is a close Bannon ally, began attacking Spies immediately after his hiring,” Media Matters states, adding: “A March 12 headline referred to Spies as a ‘Jeb, DeSantis campaign lawyer who attacked Trump.’ In the ‘Editor’s Notes’ section at the bottom of the story, Kassam commented, ‘This is really fucking bad, guys.'”

The left-wing group highlights Kassam’s appearance on Stephen K. Bannon’s War Room, where The National Pulse’s editor-in-chief reported that Spies is a close personal friend of infamous Democratic election lawyer Marc Elias. Kassam explained how RNC staffers like Spies assisted Elias by “being a walkover,” “backchanneling information,” and “being a feckless tool that just sort of sits in position and doesn’t do anything.”

Prior to taking the RNC role, Spies had ridiculed former President Donald J. Trump‘s pledge to build a border wall and referred to the former President as “thin-skinned.” The night before Joe Biden‘s inauguration, Spies posted on X (formerly Twitter) a performative “congratulations” to the octogenarian Democrat.
