CNN Has Found a Way to Shrink Its Audience Even More.

CNN is introducing a paywall that will limit access to its online content unless people pay a fee. The corporate news network, which has struggled to meet revenue expectations, will require a $3.99 monthly subscription to view unlimited content on its website. An ill-fated attempt at launching a subscription-based streaming service, CNN+, helped precipitate the firing of the network’s prior CEO, Chris Licht, after just over a year on the job in 2023. CNN+ lasted just 30 days before being abandoned.

According to Alex MacCallum, CNN’s executive vice president of digital products and services, non-subscribers will have access to only a limited number of free articles before being prompted to subscribe.

The National Pulse reported in May that the corporate news network was seeing its lowest ratings in 30 years. Audiences appear to have largely abandoned CNN due to its lack of coherent programming and political bias.

In July, CNN media correspondent Hadas Gold acknowledged that reporters failed to cover President Joe Biden’s declining cognitive state out of fear that it would help the 2024 Republican presidential nominee, former President Donald J. Trump.

Meanwhile, the current CNN CEO, Mark Thompson, has pushed layoffs and investment in artificial intelligence (AI) automation to cut costs. In July, Thompson said he also envisionedsubscription service that would generate over $1 billion in revenue. Additionally, the corporate media network inked a deal to carry content licensed from the Associated Press, resulting in further cuts to its own newsroom.

Tim Walz’s Minnesota Swears in First Non-Citizen Cops, Including Hijab-Clad Somali Muslim.

The most populous city in Minnesota, controlled by Democratic vice presidential hopeful Governor Tim Walz, has sworn in its first non-U.S. citizen police officer. Lesly Vera, who was born in Mexico, took the oath of office in Minneapolis last week.

The move follows a policy change by the Minnesota Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) in 2023, eliminating the citizenship prerequisite for law enforcement candidates. Under the new guidelines, candidates only need to be residents authorized to work in the U.S.

“Our 23 new officers include the first Somali-American woman to join the department and the first permanent resident. A police service that looks like our residents is better able to serve our residents, and I couldn’t be more proud of the department we’re building under Chief O’Hara,” Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said.

Elon Musk, CEO of X, expressed concerns about the move, noting the Roman Empire’s reliance on noncitizens in its military prior to its collapse.

Similar initiatives to put migrants in police uniforms are underway across the country. In the U.S. capital of Washington D.C., foreign nationals can even receive $25,000 signing bonuses.

Noncitizens can also run U.S. elections—despite technically being banned from voting in them—including Kelly Wong, a Chinese citizen appointed to the San Francisco Elections Commission.

Abortion Ballot Measure Would Also Establish Noncitizen Voting Rights.

A broadly worded New York state ballot measure could enshrine voting rights in the state constitution for noncitizens even though it is ostensibly aimed at protecting abortions. Proposition 1, known as the Equal Rights Amendment, would guarantee the right to abortion in the state constitution. However, there is mounting concern the measure’s broad anti-discrimination provision could lead to significant unintended consequences.

The proposed amendment states, “No person shall be denied the equal protection of the laws of this state,” and lists protections regardless of “race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, creed [or], religion, or sex, including sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes, and reproductive healthcare and autonomy.” According to critics, the inclusion of “national origin” could extend protections and potentially voting rights to noncitizens, including illegal immigrants.

Westchester County-based constitutional lawyer Bobbi Anne Cox, who is spearheading a campaign opposed to Proposition 1, argues the anti-discrimination amendment is so broadly worded that it equates noncitizens with citizens in terms of legal protections.

“It covers anybody. That includes people who came here illegally and broke our laws,” she emphasized, suggesting it is a “Trojan horse of epic proportions.”

Additionally, Cox notes the measure could result in taxpayers having to cover even more services for illegal immigrants than they already are—further ballooning state and local budgets.

Republican pollster John McLaughlin agrees with Cox, suggesting that voter support for Prop 1 decreases when they learn of its broader implications, said to include allowing transgenders to compete in women’s sports and share female locker rooms. He described the ballot measure as a “radical wish list.”

Soros Allies Mull InfoWars Purchase.

A Houston judge has ruled that the media company Free Speech Systems, the parent company of InfoWars, can be liquidated through an auction to settle nearly $1.5 billion in damages owed to the families of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting. Courts in Connecticut and Texas ordered the damages as punitive relief over Alex Jones, the host of InfoWars, claiming the shooting was a hoax.

The auction is drawing interest from Angelo Carusone, president of the George Soros-funded Media Matters for America. Carusone notes the potential value of InfoWars archives, suggesting they might hold unreleased material Media Matters can exploit. Such an acquisition would delight left-liberals, who despise Jones.

Jeff Rotkoff, publisher of the Texas-focused digital publication The Barbed Wire and Texas state director of Democrat super PAC Forward Majority, is also showing interest. “We started The Barbed Wire in part to disrupt the constant stream of conspiracies and disinformation from people like Alex Jones and Joe Rogan, and it would be a step towards justice to use the InfoWars brand to undo some of the damage they’ve caused,” Rotkoff suggests.

The fine imposed on Jones dwarfs many high-profile criminal fines. For instance, ExxonMobil Corporation only received a $125 million penalty for the Exxon Valdez oil disaster.

Jones believes the judgment is political and intended to ruin him and his company. Secret recordings of former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) employee and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) contractor Gavin O’Blennis suggest the FBI influenced the Sandy Hook families to “chop [Jones’s] legs off” financially.

BREAKING: Iranian Ballistic Missiles Rain Down on Israel.

Iran has launched a significant ballistic missile strike on Israel, with hundreds of projectiles launched into the Jewish state as the war in the region further escalates under the Biden-Harris government’s oversight. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation, warning of “challenging times” as the country battles what he termed “Iran’s axis of evil.”

The Iranian offensive is believed to have used advanced ballistic missiles capable of reaching Israel in fewer than 15 minutes.

Despite Israel’s advanced air defense system, there are concerns that a combination of ballistic missiles, drones, as well as cruise missiles from Iran could overwhelm the infamous Iron Dome as well as other defenses.

High-ranking Iranian officials have vowed a severe response to the recent Israeli assassination of Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah, warning of the “destruction of the Zionist regime.”

The Pentagon has increased the number of American warplanes in the region. Additionally, the Abraham Lincoln and USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carriers are present, providing naval strength.

Meanwhile, a terror attack – believed to be a shooting – has left four dead in Jaffa, near Tel Aviv.

Israeli Airstrike Hits Building Near Iranian Embassy.

On Tuesday, an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential structure near Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, close to the Iranian Embassy. The airstrike resulted in significant damage to the building and caused windows in the surrounding area to shatter.

The incident occurred on the southern route leading to Beirut’s international airport, impacting an apartment within the building. The Iranian Embassy is approximately 100 meters from the point of impact.

Authorities have yet to disclose the extent of any potential casualties or injuries resulting from the strike. The Lebanese government has not issued an immediate response on the matter.

This airstrike marks the latest development in heightened tensions between Israel, Lebanon-based Hezbollah, and its backers in Iran over recent months. The Israelis killed Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, in a strike on Beirut on Friday and plan to launch a limited ground invasion of Lebanon to root out Hezbollah militants near their northern border.

BREAKING: Taylor Lorenz Out at Washington Post After Calling Biden a ‘War Criminal.’

Blogger Taylor Lorenz has left the Washington Post several weeks after she posted an Instagram story that showed her attending a Joe Biden speech at the White House with the caption “war criminal :(.”

Lorenz’s departure is being billed as her opportunity to become an internet “content creator” more than a traditional news reporter. She is starting a Substack called “User Magazine,” where she says she will discuss social media from a user perspective.

Lorenz is a 40+-year-old New Yorker who often attempts to ingratiate herself within the culture of much younger, often sub-20-year-olds online. She gained notoriety by doxxing the Libs of TikTok account, which made fun of far-left activists by using their own clips on social media.

Lorenz claims to have post-traumatic stress disorder from online “harassment” and continues to wear a COVID-era face mask, often outdoors.

Before her tenure at the Post, Lorenz covered internet culture for the New York Times and the far-left Daily Beast. She also hosts a podcast called Power User for Vox Media.

Soros Gets Sweetheart Deal from Biden-Harris Govt in U.S. Radio Buy-Up.

The U.S. House Oversight Committee is scrutinizing the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) expediting the approval of billionaire plutocrat George Soros acquiring numerous American radio stations through Audacy Inc. The purchasing spree, which required FCC consent, has been fast-tracked, raising questions about the agency’s impartiality.

FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr has told Congress that “the FCC is not following its normal process” in authorizing Soros’s radio takeover. He notes there is “one way in which you can get approval from the FCC when you have an excess of 25 percent foreign ownership” for such transactions, but “the FCC is poised to create, for the first time, an entirely new shortcut” for Soros.

House Oversight Chair Representative James Comer (R-KY) and Rep. Nick Langworthy (R-NY) have written a letter to FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel expressing their concerns that “By all appearances, the FCC majority isn’t just expediting, but is bypassing an established process to do a favor for George Soros and facilitate his influence over hundreds of radio stations before the November election.”

The Hungarian-born investor, convicted of insider trading in Europe, is a major donor to the Democrats, and it was the votes of Democrat commissioners at the FCC that authorized his radio purchases.

Tren de Aragua Sex Attacker Arrested After Tim Walz’s Sanctuary City Policies Prevented His Deportation.

A jail in Democrat Governor Tim Walz’s Minnesota released a Venezuelan gang member from jail after just three days last November. Alejandro Coronel-Zarate, an alleged member of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang, was arrested again this month in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, after choking and beating a local woman in Madison last year.

Minnesota’s Hennepin County Sheriff’s Department had arrested Coronel-Zarate in November but, due to sanctuary city policies, refused to inform Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents of the arrest, likely preventing his deportation and releasing him before a possible arrest by Wisconsin authorities.

Coronel-Zarate entered the U.S. illegally around September 2023, crossing the border in the area of El Paso, Texas. In early November, Madison police received the report from the female victim, and Coronel-Zarate was arrested shortly after the report in Minneapolis over an alleged car theft.

While Minneapolis police did contact Wisconsin authorities, Coronel-Zarate had been released after 36 hours and fled before they could arrest him in relation to the alleged assault charges. It was not until September 2024 that police in Wisconsin were able to arrest him after he resurfaced in Prairie du Chien in late August.

TIM WALZ’S ANTI-BORDER RECORD.

Governor Tim Walz—the 2024 Democratic Party’s vice presidential nominee—has previously compared ICE enforcement actions to “terrorism.”

During a 2017 campaign event, he stated, “The week after I was elected in 2006… I drove out to Worthington as the congressman-elect, went into the basement of the Catholic Church where Father Brixius was, who asked me to look around at all the children crying, and he said, ‘This is what terrorism looks like in America today.’”

Walz was referring to an ICE action that took part in 2006 against illegals accused of stealing or buying Social Security numbers to obtain work at meat packing plants.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the democrat nominee for president and Walz’s running mate has compared ICE agents to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) in the past as well. Speaking at a Senate hearing in 2018, Harris questioned Ronald Vitiello—the then-acting director of ICE— and pressed him on the history of the KKK and its targeting people based on their race, asking if he saw any “parallels” to the group and ICE.

Biden-Harris Lose Yet Another $30m Drone in Failing War.

The Biden-Harris government has confirmed the loss of another $30 million MQ-9 Reaper drone in Yemen. The U.S. military was tasked with fighting another interminable war in the country against the Iran-backed Houthis in January after the group stepped up attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea.

So far, the campaign against the Houthis has yielded few results, with the group expanding its attacks to include targets in the Arabian Sea, Mediterranean Sea, and Indian Ocean. Joe Biden acknowledged the campaign was failing early on but insisted it would continue regardless: “[W]hen you say ‘[are the strikes] working,’ are they stopping the Houthis? No. Are they going to continue? Yes,” he told reporters.

Several MQ-9 Reaper drones have been lost throughout the war in Yemen this year, with a video purporting to show another one being shot down circulating on social media on Monday. The Pentagon acknowledges a Reaper has been “downed” but has not provided further details.

The Houthis claim they have downed a total of 11 Reapers—around $330 million in U.S. military hardware. The Pentagon claims the Houthis’ numbers are “not accurate,” but two Reaper losses in under a week were confirmed earlier this month, and there was another confirmed loss in May. Previous losses have also been confirmed.
