Migrants standing in line to be paroled into the United States at 1 PM are being denied entry after the CBP One app used to schedule their appointments was shut down. The move signals that President Donald J. Trump is moving quickly to make good on his pledge to secure America’s borders after his inauguration at the Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C.
Biden paroled hundreds of thousands of migrants into the U.S. at designated ports of entry through CBP One appointments or flew them directly to the U.S. through the related CHNV (Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela) Parole Program. Vetting of CBP One migrants has been poor, with a Haitian double murderer among those who used it to enter the U.S.
