Putin Again Presses For Ceasefire.

Russian President Vladimir Putin says his country is prepared to accept a negotiated ceasefire in its invasion of Ukraine along current battle lines but will continue hostilities if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the country’s Western allies decline. In recent weeks, the Russian military has managed several critical breakthroughs along Ukrainian defenses and captured more territory than Ukraine took in its 2023 counter-offensive.

The Russian leader is rumored to be frustrated with U.S. and British efforts to dissuade Ukraine from accepting a negotiated settlement to the conflict and President Zelensky’s refusal to engage in talks. “Putin can fight for as long as it takes, but Putin is also ready for a ceasefire—to freeze the war,” an unnamed senior Russian official told Reuters.

“Let them resume,” Putin said at a press conference in Belarus on Friday, adding that Ukraine must accept “the realities on the ground.” Meanwhile, Putin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, stressed that Russia does not want “eternal war.” The recent comments from Russian officials, as well as Putin, appear to indicate they are satisfied with their recent territorial gains and can sell a ceasefire as a victory at home.

Responding to Putin in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Russia was sending “phony signals” in an effort to derail peace talks initiated by his government slated to start next month in Switzerland. Kuleba wrote: “Putin currently has no desire to end his aggression against Ukraine. Only the principled and united voice of the global majority can force him to choose peace over war.”

Zelensky adviser Mykhailo Podolyak accused Putin of demanding Western democracies capitulate and accept their defeat.

WaPo Debunks NYT: Alito’s Upside Down Flag Was Over ‘Neighborhood Dispute, Not Politics.’

In a rare move, the Washington Post has debunked the New York Times over its story regarding the upside-down U.S. flag being flown over Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s home in 2021. A Post reporter had visited the Alito’s at the time of the incident, enquiring about the flag, but finding nothing more than a neighborhood dispute. The Post explained Saturday:

The Post decided not to report on the episode at the time because the flag-raising appeared to be the work of Martha-Ann Alito, rather than the justice, and connected to a dispute with her neighbors, a Post spokeswoman said. It was not clear then that the argument was rooted in politics, the spokeswoman said.

The Post even takes a dig at left-wing Democrats who have been attempting to use the issue to force Justice Alito off cases as a result:

Since the Times article, dozens of Democratic lawmakers and some legal experts have called for the justice to recuse himself from the 2020 election-related cases, saying the upside-down flag outside his home raises questions about his impartiality or creates the appearance of bias. He has drawn rebukes from some Republicans as well.

For now, the neighborhood remains quiet, and no other disturbances have been reported. Further details may emerge as the situation develops and more information is made available.

WATCH: Trump Slams ‘Mobs of Migrants Giving America the Middle Finger’ in ‘Third World’ New York.

Donald Trump took aim at the “radical left pro-crime policies” that have reduced his hometown of New York City to a shell of its former self at a diverse and well-attended rally in the Bronx.

“Throughout my life, I’ve seen New York through good times and bad,” Trump said, recalling boom times, market crashes, terrorist attacks, and more.

“But I’ve never seen it quite like this. We have filthy encampments of drugged-out homeless people… We have lunatics killing innocent bystanders by pushing them onto the railroad tracks for sport… Our subways are squalid and unsafe, the ceiling tiles are falling down, and they look worse than a Third World country,” Trump lamented.

“The medians of our highways are crumbling; our sidewalks are littered with garbage: bottles and trash, but worst of all, the discarded needles from people that so desperately are in need of help,” he continued.

“And we have mobs of migrants fighting our police officers and giving America the middle finger,” he added.

“But we are not going to let this continue… Together, we are going to Make New York City Great Again, and simultaneously, we are going to Make America Great Again,” he vowed, earning sustained chants of “USA! USA!” and “We love Trump!”

Pledging to support law enforcement and be tough on crime, Trump urged rally attendees to remember that “black, Hispanic, [and] Asian people need this protection and safety more than anyone else.”

Stances like this have seen the former president earn the support of thousands of predominantly Hispanic-owned bodegas, which have suffered as a result of criminal-friendly policies, such as cashless bail, that Trump has heavily criticized.

The former president was already within ten points of Joe Biden in the Empire State, traditionally a Democratic stronghold, in November.

95% of This Historic City’s Welfare Dependents Are Illegals. Now, Democrats Are Trying to Place Them in People’s Homes.

The city of Westbrook, Maine, is considering a new ordinance that would permit private homes, churches, and community centers to serve as homeless shelters. Most housing assistance applicants are recent migrants, and the proposal comes after the city’s welfare program official acknowledged that “90 to 95 percent” of welfare recipients are migrants, referred to as “New Mainers” by open borders activists.

Jennie Franceschi, Westbrook’s Director of Planning and Code Enforcement, indicated that the ordinance would enable single-family homes and churches to become emergency shelters if community needs dictate. The proposal does not mandate homeowners or churches to house homeless individuals but allows them to register as official homeless shelters voluntarily.

Resident Martin Malia argues the current proposal could lead to an 11.4 percent tax increase. Malia expressed fears that the ordinance might also attract more homeless immigrants, further taxing the general assistance program and municipal resources.

Despite these concerns, the Planning Board did not address Malia’s points in detail. The board ultimately voted unanimously to move the ordinance and another establishing a licensing process for homeless shelters to the city council.

At an earlier city council meeting, Harison Deah, the director of general assistance, revealed that the majority of general assistance applicants are new Mainers. He also noted that many immigrants require basic living instructions, such as thermostat usage, due to unfamiliarity with local standards.

The general assistance program is predominantly funded by statewide taxpayer money (70 percent), with local property taxes covering the remaining 30 percent. Malia raised the issue of illegal immigration, questioning whether the proposal effectively becomes an immigration resettlement program funded by taxpayers.

The city council will now consider the ordinance, weighing public support against concerns over tax impact and immigration.

Top House Dem Penned Paper Demanding ‘Alien Suffrage.’

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) has a history of advocating for non-citizen voting rights, as revealed by Fox News this week. In 1993, Raskin wrote a paper defending the concept of “Alien Suffrage.” In the paper, titled “Legal Aliens, Local Citizens: The Historical Constitutional and Theoretical Meanings of Alien Suffrage,” Raskin contended that excluding non-citizens from voting lacks a constitutional and historical basis.

“In this Article, I will argue that the current blanket exclusion of noncitizens from the ballot is neither constitutionally required nor historically normal,” Raskin wrote.

Raskin, who also serves as the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, was among the 143 Democrats who voted against a measure this week to prevent noncitizens from voting in Washington, D.C. elections. Contrarily, 52 Democrats joined Republicans in favor of the bill. Despite this split, polling data indicates broad public support for restricting voting to U.S. citizens.

Several municipalities in Maryland, including Takoma Park, have allowed foreign nationals to vote in local elections for decades. Advocates argue that resident aliens should have a say in local governance due to their contributions to community life.

However, polling by RMG Research, Inc. for Americans for Citizen Voting indicates that 75 percent of Americans oppose foreign nationals voting in local elections. This widespread sentiment aligns with Republicans’ motivations for the bill.

Moreover, the debate over noncitizen voting has national implications. House Speaker Mike Johnson recently introduced the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE Act), which aims to tighten voter registration requirements to ensure only citizens are registered. Republican proponents cite the influx of illegal immigrants as heightening the need for such measures. A series of criminal cases in North Carolina revealed that noncitizens are voting and are three times more likely to vote Democrat.

WATCH: We Have Boots on the Ground in Ukraine Already, Raheem Kassam Explains.

National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam, who was present in Kiev during the Western-backed Euromaidan coup in 2014 that set the stage for the current full-scale war in Ukraine, believes there are already NATO “boots on the ground.”

Speaking to War Room host Stephen K. Bannon, he said people should not be surprised to hear U.S., British, and other Western specialists could be helping Ukrainian forces strike targets inside Russia with specialist missile systems, despite Moscow warning it would regard this as an “act of war.”

“The [Maidan] coup itself was an act of war, and here’s why that’s important: because if they were willing to do that, then there is nothing that they’re not willing to do. They already overthrew a government,” Kassam stressed.

“[W]hen you talk about boots on the ground, and we try to bring that up as a conversation point with establishment people… they kind of scoff at it, as in, like, ‘Yeah, dude, that’s already been happening, this wouldn’t be a new development.”

NO OVERSIGHT, NO LESSONS LEARNED.

“In my estimation, by my sourcing,” it is “absolutely the case” that Western personnel are already assisting the Ukrainians, Kassam said.

“Listen, there’s been no proper congressional oversight over this since day one,” Kassam continued, lambasting Congress for failing to properly interrogate and subpoena the likes of Victoria Nuland.

The National Pulse previously reported on the establishment of a dozen Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) spy bases near the Russo-Ukrainian border starting at least a decade ago.

“I thought the lesson was learned. I thought Iraq, Afghanistan, the Arab Spring, the interventions in Libya, in Syria, I thought when they had Hillary Clinton up there, in a post-Benghazi world, that there had been some lessons learned. Clearly not. Clearly nobody is interested in getting to the bottom of how this has occurred,” Kassam lamented.

America’s Expensive, High-Tech Ukraine Weaponry is Being Jammed By Russia.

The Russian military has been able to render much of the American high-tech weaponry provided to Ukraine obsolete through the use of jamming technology. Despite hundreds of billions of dollars in military aid from Western nations, the Ukrainian military has recently suffered a series of defeats that suggest it may be unable to hold off the Russian invasion of its territory much longer.

Confidential Ukrainian assessments have shown the accuracy rate, for instance, of U.S.-produced Excalibur 155mm GPS-guided artillery rounds dramatically dropped after only a few months of use once the Russian military began introducing counter-measures. The initial rate of successful strikes was around 50 percent. That number now stands at just 10 percent. Each Excalibur round costs an estimated $100,000 to produce.

Other U.S. weapons systems that have fallen prey to Russian jamming technology include the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), the M30/M31 Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System, and the JDAM-ER missile. The Russian electronic jamming network deployed over eastern Ukraine is so extensive and advanced it has even impacted the navigation systems in fighter jets flown by Ukrainian pilots.

Russia’s GPS jamming technology has also had a catastrophic impact on Ukraine‘s use of U.S.-sourced drones. In April, The National Pulse reported that the war has exposed significant deficiencies in the American drone industry, with glitchy, expensive drones made in the U.S. failing to meet expectations and being supplanted by off-the-shelf Chinese products. In one instance, an entire fleet of drones flew off course after encountering Russian jammers.

Even more concerning is that Ukraine’s off-the-shelf Chinese drones are purchased — using American taxpayer dollars — from SZ DJI Technology, a company sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Judge Merchan Has Been ‘Used to Destroy Trump’ Says NY Ex-Councilman.

Former New York City councilman Rubén Díaz had choice words for Democrat-aligned Judge Juan Merchan during former President Donald J. Trump‘s Bronx campaign rally yesterday. Díaz — a Pentecostal minister and Democratic Party member — also apologized to Trump for Judge Merchan’s behavior during the Manhattan hush money trial.

“As a Puerto Rican, as a Hispanic, I want to apologize to you for the conduct of Judge Juan Merchan,” Díaz said while on stage with Trump. He continued: “He has been used to destroy you, but we know better than that.” Díaz and Merchan are both Hispanic.

Díaz, an unconventional Democrat known for his opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage, endorsed Trump during his remarks. He referenced the ongoing hush-money trial in Manhattan, where closing arguments are expected early next week. Díaz, much like Trump, was highly critical of Judge Merchan for aiding the Biden government’s lawfare campaign against the former Republican President.

Former President Trump has been limited in what he can publicly say about the hush money trial through a gag order issued by Judge Merchan. The order includes restrictions on Trump discussing witnesses, potential witnesses, jurors, prosecutors, court staff, and their families, but it does not prevent comments about Merchan himself or Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Judge Merchan also oversaw the tax fraud trials of two Trump Organization companies and sentenced former CFO Allen Weisselberg to jail following a guilty plea to tax evasion.

Trump: ‘I Would Absolutely Bring Peter Navarro Back’ into 2nd Term Admin.

President Donald J. Trump has flexed his loyalty in return for Dr. Peter Navarro, who is currently in jail at the Federal Correctional Institution in Miami as a result of a partisan contempt charge leveled against him by House Democrats running the now defunct January 6th show trial in Congress.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Trump said: “I would absolutely have Peter back. This outrageous behavior by the Democrats should not have happened.”

Navarro, 74, has become a cause célèbre of the MAGA right. He is notable for his economic nationalism philosophy and his work in tracing the true origins of the Wuhan Lab’s coronavirus (COVID-19).

The prison denied Navarro the opportunity to speak with the Journal face-to-face. The parties instead relied on the prison’s e-mail system to conduct an interview where the septuagenarian revealed he had no regrets over his actions rejecting the authority of the House Committee and revealed his average day:

A typical day in prison, Navarro said, involves rising before dawn, having breakfast and walking a mile around the track to watch the sunrise before work in the law library. Lunch is followed by more work, then dinner at 4:45 p.m., and more exercise in the yard. Navarro has found ways to get his message out, penning opinion pieces for The Washington Times.

Navarro is due out of jail just before this summer’s RNC Convention, wherein he intends to issue a stark warning to the Biden regime, as well as writing about his ideas for a second Trump term in a new book: The New MAGA Deal.

Fresh Lawfare Attempts Aim to Stymie Trump Fundraising.

The Biden government’s lawfare campaign against former President Donald J. Trump has entered a new phase with their Congressional Democrat allies announcing a probe into Trump campaign donors. Having failed to stop Trump’s presidential campaign with four dubious federal and state-level prosecutions, Biden and the Democrats are now looking to harass and scare off donors to the Republican presidential nominee.

On Thursday, Senate Democrats announced they will investigate former President Trump‘s Mar-a-Lago fundraising dinner with energy company executives last month. Their investigation was launched after the George Soros-funded Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) claimed the dinner event breached a vaguely alluded-to ethics rule.

In their allegations, CREW claims that Trump’s discussion of what U.S. energy policy may look like under a future Trump presidential administration, while also attempting to solicit $1 billion in campaign donations, could merit legal action. However, the Democrat-aligned lawfare group did not cite any specific laws that might have been violated.

Less than two weeks ago, House and Senate Democrats sent letters to energy company executives in what appears to have been an effort to intimidate them into ceasing to donate to the Trump campaign. However, several of the letters’ targets appeared to have ignored the threats and were present for a second energy industry fundraiser for Trump in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday.

The National Pulse reported that Trump raised an impressive $25 million in a single day at the Wednesday event. Notably, the Senate Democrats announced their probe just a day after Trump’s Houston fundraiser.
