90-Year-Old Pushed Out of MS Society for DEI Non-Compliance.

Ninety-year-old Fran Itkoff, a dedicated volunteer for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in California, was dismissed for not understanding how to use woke gender pronouns.

The details: Itkoff was dismissed for failing to “abide by [the MS Society’s] Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion [DEI] guidelines” and put her pronouns in her e-mail signature.

  • Itkoff said: “I was confused. I didn’t know what it was and what it meant.”
Back up: Itkoff volunteered with the MS Society for 60 years and received multiple awards for her dedication before her forced exit. She was inspired to volunteer after her husband was diagnosed with the condition.
Her dismissal: A few days later, Itkoff received an e-mail telling her to “step down” from her volunteer role for failing to comply with the company’s DEI policies.
  • The e-mail reads: “Unfortunately, based on the situation, we have made the difficult decision to have you step down from your volunteer position, effective immediately.”

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease affecting the brain and spinal cord, leading to nerve damage that causes physical and cognitive impairments.

The final word goes to Itkoff’s daughter, Elle Hamilton, who told Chaya Raichik (aka @LibsOfTikTok):

  • “It’s ironic, because they are saying they are inclusive, but they are excluding a 90-year-old disabled woman who has volunteered for 60 years.”

TV FOR STUPID PEOPLE: Fox Airhead Demands Biden Let Ukraine Attack Russia.

Fox News host Emily Compagno blasted President Joe Biden for being too soft on Russia, and for not being enough of a war hawk as far as the Ukraine war goes. Compagno says the president is not doing enough to assist Ukraine, even arguing that the ‘strings attached’ nature of the U.S. aid advances Russian interests and leaves Ukraine in a precarious position.

I underscore that because every dollar we have given to Ukraine has come with a condition that has only resulted in Ukraine being further hamstrung. Just like Israel, we have dictated that they cannot attack Russia uncertain fronts in certain cities.

We have given them conditions with certain tanks and armaments and whatever. So we are essentially saying here, be grateful for this, but this will not do the job. And in doing so, we further Putin’s interests.

Far-Left NY Judge Orders Trump Pay $355M in Letitia James Trump Org Case.

Far-left Judge Arthur Engoron has ordered President Donald J. Trump to pay almost $355 million dollars in the Democrat case against the former president in New York. The ruling also prohibits certain members of the Trump Organization from doing business in the Empire State. President Trump will appeal the judgment.

Trump’s sons, Don Jr. and Eric Trump, were also ordered to pay $4 million each.

New York Attorney General Letita James had pleaded with the state to order Trump to pay at least $370 million.

Speaking earlier this week, Trump lawyer Alina Habba remarked: “I don’t have high hopes; I do believe that there is some ethics left. I hope that Judge Engoron sees through this, but… I’ve been on weeks and weeks and weeks of trial in New York, and the corruption runs deep; the Trump Derangement Syndrome frankly runs even deeper.”

Judge Engoron is a Democrat donor whose “co-judge” law clerk, Allison Greenfield, has attended events endorsing AG James, a Democrat, and Joe Biden.

This story is developing.

CNN to Slash Salaries.

CNN’s new top-ranking executive, Mark Thompson, plans to cut anchor salaries, which currently exceed $50 million, as part of a strategy to transform the network into a U.S. version of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

Thompson, former head of the BBC and The New York Times, is reportedly planning a “revolution” at CNN, with no talent spared, including high earners such as prime-time anchor Anderson Cooper, who earns an estimated $20 million a year, and Wolf Blitzer, who receives about $15 million annually. Other co-anchors, including John Berman, Kate Bolduan, and Sara Sidner, earn between $1 million to $2 million per annum.

Thompson also plans to trim production costs “that now look difficult to support,” according to a staff memo. Media experts and former staffers suggest these cuts will impact salaries. However, the contracts of stars like Cooper and Jake Tapper won’t expire until after the presidential election.

Thompson’s actions come amidst low ratings and increasing competition from rivals Fox and MSNBC. He announced the removal of hosts Poppy Harlow and Phil Mattingly from their show, “This Morning,” and a reshuffling of “CNN News Central.” The network will cease production of morning programming from New York and move production to Atlanta. CNN’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, has been urged to sell the network while it maintains significant TV distribution.

How Illegal Immigration Can Swing a Presidential Election.

Immigration experts are warning that illegal immigration could impact the number of House seats and Electoral College votes in a presidential election.

Back up: This concern began because of an executive order signed by Joe Biden in 2021, which mandated that the U.S. Census Bureau factor in all residents, including non-citizens, in its count of the U.S. population.

The numbers: According to one conservative estimate, 16.8 million illegal aliens are living in the U.S. today [I believe it’s much worse]. When you consider that the average House seat represents 761,168 residents, this means the illegals would account for 22 House seats.

In a presidential election, states receive Electoral College votes in proportion to their House seats. So if New York [thanks to sanctuary city NYC] adds one house seat after the next census, they will also pick up an additional Electoral College vote in the presidential election.

Quote: Mark Krikorian, executive director at the Center for Immigration Studies, said: “Illegal immigrants aren’t even supposed to be here, so their inclusion in the census count for purposes of apportionment really is outrageous.”

What can be done about this? Republican lawmakers have introduced the Equal Representation Act, requiring the Census Bureau to exclude non-citizens from its counts. But with a Democrat President and Democrat Senate, that will never pass.

Big picture: The next census won’t be counted until 2030, so this does not pertain to the upcoming election. But something must be done; otherwise, we risk giving representation to roughly 20 million illegals who have taken up residence in mostly Democrat strongholds.

Congressional Budget Office: Mass Migration Lowers Productivity, Reduces Standard Of Living.

The Congressional Budget Office has tacitly admitted that the influx of illegal immigration into the United States is likely to have negative long-term impacts on wages and the standard of living for American citizens and immigrants living in the United States legally. According to the government agency, the U.S. labor force is projected to increase by 1.7 million in 2024 and see a 3 percent total increase by 2033, equating to over 5 million additional workers. The increase is in large part because of increased illegal and legal immigration.

While there are some marginal benefits to the expanded labor force — the CBO says the federal deficit will shrink to 6.4 percent of GDP by 2033, down from  7.3 percent in 2023 due to the increased tax base — the unchecked flow of illegal immigrants into the country also comes with concerning negative externalities. The illegal immigrants currently entering the U.S. tend to be low-skill to no-skill workers and may hurt gross domestic product. The CBO projects that per-capital GDP will have declined by nearly 1 percent a decade from now, mainly due to an increase in low-skill immigrant labor.

In addition to a decline in per-capita GDP, the influx of cheap and low-skilled workers is projected to continue to depress U.S. wages and drive up housing costs. Rising rents and home values due to increased demand — combined with lower wages — will likely result in Americans experiencing a lower standard of living a decade from now than they do today. While the increasing number of illegal and legal immigrants in the U.S. does expand the tax base, the increased consumption may also put upward pressure on the prices of daily goods — wiping out the deflationary effects of the increased labor force.

WATCH: Trump Lawyer Habba Says ‘I Don’t Have High Hopes’ For NY’s Trump Org Trial.

Aliba Habba, representing Donald Trump and his business empire in New York Attorney General Letitia James’s civil fraud against them, says she does not have “high hopes” as she awaits Judge Arthur Engoron’s decision expected Friday morning.

“If I could file the appeal now, I would,” Habba said on Wednesday, warning there are “no surprises coming here.”

“I don’t have high hopes; I do believe that there is some ethics left. I hope that Judge Engoron sees through this, but… I’ve been on weeks and weeks and weeks of trial in New York, and the corruption runs deep; the Trump Derangement Syndrome frankly runs even deeper,” she added.

The lawsuit threatens a $370 million financial penalty and a permanent ban from New York real estate dealings. Judge Engoron, a Democrat donor whose “co-judge” law clerk, Allison Greenfield, has attended events endorsing AG James, a Democrat, and Joe Biden.

While AG James claims Trump defrauded banks by overvaluing his assets to secure loans, some of the valuations accepted by Engoron, such as valuing Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate at just $18 million, have been heavily criticized.

Habba has also contended all loans were paid back on time, so there is no actual victim in the case.

America, Prepare for Recession.

Citi’s chief economist, Andrew Hollenhorst, has forecasted a recession in mid-2024 for the U.S. economy. In a recent interview with CNBC, Hollenhorst highlighted elements in recent economic data that suggest an impending downturn. Despite apparent low unemployment, stronger consumer spending, and GDP growth, Hollenhorst warns that there are indications of economic instability beneath the surface.

“There’s this very powerful and seductive narrative around a soft landing and we’re just not seeing it in the data,” said Hollenhorst.

One key area of vulnerability is the labor market. Although January’s jobs report showed 353,000 ‘new’ jobs added to the economy, the number of hours worked actually declined, as did the number of full-time workers. Moreover, certain sectors, like the restaurant industry, did not see any job growth at all.

“That’s the key to the economy — what happens in the labor market,” Hollenhorst said. “If the unemployment rate stays low, people continue to spend, the economy holds up. But if that unemployment rate starts rising, which we think it will … that’s the sign that we’re going to have a more material decline in the US economy.”

Hollenhorts also pointed to rising credit card delinquencies as another indicator of impending recession.

“There may be some consumers out there with excess savings, but those consumers exposed to floating credit card debt with higher rates now, that have been pulling on those excess savings to continue to consume, continue to spend, now those delinquencies are picking up,” he said.

The state of the economy is set to be a key factor in the 2024 presidential election. Despite the Biden regime trying to take credit for GDP growth and rising jobs numbers, there is overwhelming evidence that Bidenomics has failed, and the majority of Americans have lost faith in Biden’s ability to manage the economy.

200-Year-Old Portrait of George Washington Stolen.

Authorities in Englewood, Colorado, reported on Tuesday that a 19th-century painting of George Washington was stolen from a local storage unit last month. According to the Englewood Police Department, the theft likely occurred overnight on January 10 during a break-in but was not immediately discovered. Authorities are offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the portrait’s return.

The stolen portrait was painted in the early 1800s. The piece measures 24 inches by 30 inches and is framed in gold. “It’s not often that we have historical artifacts or historical art pieces stolen from this city,” said Crystal Essman of the Englewood Police Department. The painting’s financial value remains undisclosed, with authorities citing difficulties in estimating such value due to its historical significance.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has joined forces with local law enforcement in an effort to locate the missing artwork. The public is encouraged to report any information regarding the theft to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.

New York City is FULL, Declares Mayor Eric Adams.

New York City is “out of room” for migrants, claims Democrat Mayor Eric Adams, once a proponent of so-called “sanctuary cities” in America. Joe Biden’s unchecked flow of illegal immigrants has the city on the brink of crisis, Adams alleged in a recent interview with FOX5 NY’s Rosanna Scotto.

Adams said that while New York City is a city of immigrants and has a rich history representing the same, the current scale of migration is both unfair and unsustainable for the city and its inhabitants. He emphasized that if current immigration rates do not decline, overcrowding in the city will hit crisis levels.

“We’re not just saying we’re out of room as a soundbite,” he said. “We’re out of room, literally. People are going to be eventually sleeping on the streets.”

“I cannot break the law and enforce the law… I can’t report to ICE for deportation,” he said, taking aim at the city’s ‘right-to-shelter’ law, asserting it was not initially intended for illegal immigrants and asylum seekers.

Adams’s administration is locked in multiple legal battles over the enforcement of the right-to-shelter law. He has been vocal about the impact of the ongoing migration crisis on his city, previously asserting last September that if left unchecked, this crisis could “destroy New York City.” His administration insists it is continuing efforts to find effective ways to respond to and manage the growing crisis fueled by President Joe Biden’s open border policies.
