An outright majority of two-thirds of Americans – 74 percent – believe that the United States is headed in the wrong direction under President Biden, according to a recently conducted NBC News survey. Only 20 percent of Americans think that “things in the nation are generally headed in the right direction.”
Before President Biden, dissatisfaction among the American public had not been higher since September 2013 under Barack Obama at 78 percent. Yet, Biden’s disapproval figures have consistently been high and worsening as more than 70 percent of Americans have believed the country is on the wrong track in all the last four quarters of his presidency.

The survey also asked the 1000 registered voters whether they were concerned about “Joe Biden not having the necessary mental and physical health to be president.”
A combined 83 percent of Americans have concerns about whether Biden has the necessary mental and physical health, with 55 percent of Americans having “major concerns,” 13 percent having “moderate concerns,” and another 15 percent having “minor concerns.”
Only 17 percent of respondents told the pollsters that they have “no real concerns” about Biden’s health.
