‘No Right to Sodomy in the Constitution’ – Speaker Johnson Stands by 15-Year-Old Remarks.

Mike Johnson, the newly-minted Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, is standing by an article he wrote some 15 years ago when the Supreme Court overturned state laws criminalizing sodomy, saying: “Go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it – that’s my worldview. That’s what I believe, so I do not apologize for it.”

Speaker Johnson insisted he “genuinely love[s] all people regardless of their lifestyle choices,” explaining his view on the matter “is not about the people themselves” but about the fact he is “a Bible-believing Christian.”

As a senior counsel at the Alliance Defense Fund, Johnson argued strongly against the Lawrence v. Texas ruling overturning sodomy laws in 13 states. He agreed with the late Justice Anton Scalia that the laws were “not about the persecution of a minority, but whether states have authority to regulate dangerous sexual conduct,” and expressed concern about “the exponential spread of STDs and HIV” – which to the present day is largely contracted and spread by people who engage in male-on-male sexual acts, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Contrary to the Lawrence justices, Johnson insisted there was “no right to sodomy in the Constitution.”

Johnson also predicted the ruling would have enormous ramifications in “the battle for the culture” and pave the way for “the homosexual lobby’s ultimate prize – the redefinition of marriage.”

The Supreme Court ruled same-sex couples had the same right to marry as heterosexual couples in 2015.

Michael Cohen’s Testimony Against Trump Wasn’t The Slam Dunk The Media Thinks It Was.

Testimony given by Michael Cohen against his former boss Donald Trump this week does not appear to be the slam dunk the corporate media thinks it was. Cohen was expected to corroborate accusations made by NY Attorney General Letitia James, alleging former President Trump instructed aides in the Trump Organization to produce false estimates for the value of his properties. Once on the stand and under oath, however, Cohen proved unable to corroborate in any meaningful way.

Cohen actually admitted he had never been instructed by Trump to inflate the former President’s finances or the value of Mar-a-Lago in an effort to defraud lenders.

Trump attorney Clifford Roberts directly asked Cohen, “Trump didn’t ask you to inflate the numbers on his personal statement, correct?” To which Cohen responded, “Correct.” Trump’s lawyers moved for an immediate and direct verdict, however far-left Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron denied the motion.

New York prosecutors also asked Cohen if Trump had directed him to produce fraudulent financial numbers. He responded: “Trump did not specifically say, ‘Michael, go inflate the numbers.'” Once again, former President Trump’s legal team asked Judge Engoron for an immediate verdict and were denied. Engoron said he did not consider Cohen to be a ‘key’ witness for the prosecution, adding, “No way, no how is this case is being dismissed. There is enough evidence in this case to fill this courtroom.”

Aside from denying the motion for an immediate verdict, Judge Engoron has also slapped Trump with $15,000 in fines this week, for breaching a “gag order” aimed at stopping the public from realizing the judge’s staff are far-left Democrat activists.

Despite Cohen being unable to corroborate the charges leveled by Letitia James, and the far-left judge’s refusal to issue an immediate verdict, the corporate media has tried to spin the testimony as a win for the New York prosecution. MSNBC legal analyst Lisa Rubin told former John McCain advisor-turned-liberal-talk-show-host Nicole Wallace:

“Trump’s lawyers were not well prepared for what happened today. They knew they wanted to paint Michael Cohen as a liar, and they succeeded in that to some extent, but in terms of dismantling the core of his testimony, which was about Trump’s intent and participation, they didn’t even do that very well.”

It is unclear how Cohen admitting he was never asked by Trump to fraudulently alter financial information is any sort of win for New York’s Attorney General and her politically motivated prosecution of former President Trump.

Another CVS location in D.C.’s Columbia Heights has placed many items behind locked cages, the aisles of empty shelves decorated with profane graffiti. Crime in the American capital has reached crisis levels. Violent crime is up 41 percent over last year – the city has seen a 33 percent increase in homicides and a 70 percent increase in robberies. According to D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department theft is up 21 percent, with 10,673 incidents reported so far in 2023. Motor vehicle theft has seen a 101 percent increase compared to 2022.

The U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms Karen Gibson has warned Members of Congress and their staff not to stop and help strangers along the road side. Criminals are feigning car trouble and the need for assistance in order create opportunities to steal the vehicles of would be good samaritans.

In July the Washington, D.C. city council passed emergency legislation in an effort to crack down on out-of-control violent crime. Despite provisions aimed at keeping offenders off the streets prior to their trial date, the legislation made little impact. On Monday of this week, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser introduced legislation to roll-back many of the soft-on-crime reforms the city adopted in the wake of the death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter protests.

Creep Judge Engoron Demands ‘I Want to See Ivanka In Person.’

Ivanka Trump, daughter of former President Donald Trump, has been ordered by a New York judge to testify in person at her father’s civil fraud trial. Judge Arthur Engoron creepily stated from the bench, “I want to see her in person.” Ivanka’s attorney Bennet Moskowitz sought to dismiss the subpoena, arguing that her required physical presence in court “falls on its face” given that she has neither worked nor lived in New York since 2017. However, State Attorney Kevin Wallace countered, stating that her role in the Trump Organization and her possession of property in the state make the subpoena legitimate.

The former President is currently on trial following a conviction of fraud in relation to his business activities in New York City. Both of his older sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, were also held liable in the fraud case. New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking a $250,000 million fine and an injunction prohibiting Trump and his sons from conducting business in the state, a penalty that could effectively dissolve the Trump Organization.

Amid the ongoing civil trial, Donald Trump was also fined for violating a gag order imposed by Judge Engoron. The judge has been a repeated target of the former President on his social media platforms.

Trump’s Mega Mar-A-Lago Fundraiser Pulls In Whopping $6M.

Former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago fundraiser for his 2024 presidential campaign raked in around $6 million on Thursday night. The fundraiser featured several notable political figures and social media celebrities who are supporting the former President’s bid to retake the White House.

The fundraiser’s goal – on top of continuing to build Trump’s 2024 war chest – was to show a clear sign of strength and signal that for the Trump campaign, the primary is over and the general election fight against President Joe Biden has begun. Several high-profile political figures were in attendance, including Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and former-Speaker candidate and Florida Congressman Byron Donalds. Comedian and celebrity Roseanne Barr also made an appearance Thursday night.

When Trump took the stage to address the crowd in the Mar-a-Lago ballroom, he quickly recognized conservative talk show host Larry Elder who had just hours before dropped out of the 2024 Republican presidential primary, and endorsed the former President. “Larry said don’t worry about it, when I drop out, you’re the guy and I love you and I love him,” Trump said.

Trump’s remarks focused mainly on his accomplishments as President, especially in regards to foreign policy and his administration’s successful work reining in Iran, China, and North Korea. The former President also took aim at President Joe Biden, who he blasted for undoing his successes. Trump also made clear that his fundraising and polling lead have made Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s path to a primary victory nearly impossible.

Biden Bombs Iran-Linked Sites in Syria.

Joe Biden has had in Syrian territory controlled by the Russian-backed government of Bashar al-Assad bombed, with the government claiming the strikes are defensive actions against Iran.

“These strikes are a direct response to a series of ongoing attacks on U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria that began on October 17th,” a senior defense official told the press.

Two sites are said to have been hit by F-16 warplanes in what the official described as “a self-defense action, because our forces in the Middle East, who are there to support security and stability, are being threatened by Iran, and Iran-backed militias.”

The U.S. government admits it is currently unclear whether any Iranians were even present at the targeted sites, which are associated with local militants, but they insist they are at the very least equipped and funded by Iran.

“Let’s be clear, Iran is responsible,” the official said of recent drone and rocket attacks against U.S. bases in the Middle East following the Hamas terror raid on Israel and the Israeli response, which the White House has supported.

At least 24 U.S. personnel have been injured in these attacks so far.

NeoCon Ron Claimed He Sent Israel Guns & Ammo, In Truth Just ‘Smoothed Paperwork’.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s claim that he assisted third party groups and individuals deliver weapons, drones, and body armor to Israel is false according to the Miami-based Israeli consul general, Maor Elbaz-Starinsky. The aid was supposedly sent to the Jewish state to assist in the ongoing conflict with the terrorist group Hamas, which controls the neighboring Gaza territory. The governor’s office claimed they were acting upon a request made by Elbaz-Starinsky, who has denied such requests, stating: “We were never in communication on any shipments of arms or ammunition. The only thing that I have dealt with sending is medical supplies.”

The Israeli consul general is now saying that the Florida Governor was only asked to help ‘smooth paperwork’ involving a prearranged delivery of rifle parts requested by the Israeli government: “I am not aware and would find it very, very bizarre to think that somebody is procuring weapons and sending it to Israel.” Elbaz-Starinsky added, “This is not how we work. And certainly not privately funded.” This runs counter to claims by the DeSantis presidential campaign stating they “…sent cargo planes with drones, weapons, ammo, body armor, and helmets to Israel.”

The export of weapons or technology from the United States to foreign nations is tightly monitored and regulated by the federal government, specifically the Department of Commerce. In addition – depending upon sanctions status and other considerations – the Department of State, the Department of the Treasury, and the President’s National Security Council may also have some degree of regulatory jurisdiction.

It remains unclear if DeSantis’s has cleared the alleged weapons transfers with any federal agencies – if the weapons are even real at all. During the White House press briefing John Kirby, spokesman for the National Security Council was asked about the situation.

“It is not illegal for the governor of a state to offer a measure of foreign assistance to another country,” Kirby said. “There are laws and regulations which govern how the export process is handled and that’s all done through Commerce. I couldn’t speak with authority today about whether the governor has checked all those boxes or not.”

DeSantis is currently battling former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley for a distant 2nd place in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, tussling for neoconservative, pro-Israel donors.

Brexit Betrayer & Globalist Boris Johnson Joins ‘GB News’.

GB News, Britain’s supposedly anti-establishment broadcaster, has announced it is hiring former Prime Minister and “Brexit betrayer” Boris Johnson. The news comes after the broadcaster cancelled right-wing figures such as Calvin Robertson and Laurence Fox.

Johnson is perhaps best known for thwarting peace between Ukraine and Russia; selling out Brexit; and illegally placing his wife Carrie Symonds in charge of his Downing Street operation during COVID-19.

Boris Johnson’s government also pledged a reduction in immigration, then increased it to record levels.

A perennial political “slippery eel,” Johnson actually penned two op-eds ahead of the European Union referendum in 2016 – one in favor or leaving, and one in favor of remaining. He decided the former would be better for his career fairly late into the campaign.

When the UK political class was convinced of a Hillary Clinton presidency, Johnson, then Mayor of London, publicly trashed Donald Trump, sneering: “When Donald Trump says that there are parts of London that are no-go areas, I think he’s betraying a quite stupefying ignorance that makes him, frankly, unfit to hold the office of President of the United States.”

Trump was magnanimous in return, but has made it clear he had the measure of the Englishman and his government: “I’m saying this as an outsider, but an outsider looking in: they were going far left… I can tell you, they were not conservative policies toward the end,” he said earlier this year.

Trump Fully Cleared After 4-Year Probe Into FBI HQ Location.

The Justice Department has concluded no improper influence was exerted by then-President Donald Trump over a decision by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to keep its headquarters in downtown Washington D.C.

“We found no evidence that the FBI’s decisions were based on improper considerations or motives,” the inspector general’s report stated, after a four-year investigation into allegations Trump opposed a move to the suburbs of Maryland or Virginia to benefit his businesses.

The controversy originated from a developer exchange procurement deal in 2014 to transfer the ownership of the J. Edgar Hoover Building site to a developer. However, plans were canceled in 2017 when Congress withheld the requested funding, leading to the recommendation for a reconstruction of the existings site. This decision was criticized by some Democrats, who suspected Trump of intervening to prevent competition with his D.C.-based commercial property, the Trump International Hotel.

FBI Director Christopher Wray, who confirmed discussing the relocation matter with Trump on numerous occasions, stated he did not feel any pressure to comply with a specific direction, and that he himself thought it would be “great” if the headquarters could stay where it was.

Biden Drops ‘Remain in Texas’ Plans After Local Democrats Complained.

President Joe Biden has been forced to abandon a plan to save Democrat-run cities in states like New York and Illinois from the consequences of their “sanctuary” policies by requiring migrants to ‘Remain in Texas’ after crossing the border.

Conservative leaders in southern border states, who never supported Democrats’ permissive mass migration policies, have lately begun taking the leaders of more northerly “sanctuary cities” at their word, with Texas alone busing over 50,000 migrants to leftist jurisdictions.

Pro-sanctuary politicians have proven less blasé about the border crisis now it is on their doorstep, and have been pleading with Biden and the federal government to rescue them from the consequences of their policies, resulting in a plan being drawn up to require many migrants to ‘Remain in Texas’ near El Paso while their asylum claims are processed.

Government documents obtained by CBS show officials in El Paso, which is led by the Democratic Party, initially agreeing to facilitate the policy, drawing up plans to buy at least 400 hotel rooms to host migrants – but they changed their minds when news of the scheme went public, infuriating locals already feeling overwhelmed by the ongoing influx.

The U-turn means Biden will have to come up with some other way to placate people in Democrat states unhappy with the chaos the migrant crisis is causing, no longer only in border communities but in their own backyards. Biden is already taking personal heat over the issue, with 64 percent of New Yorkers disapproving of the way the 80-year-old is managing the border.
