UK Cops Protest Colleague’s Murder Charge By Downing Guns.

The British Ministry of Defence (MoD) is preparing to deploy the army after hundreds of police officers handed in their guns in protest of a murder charge brought against an unidentified officer who shot and killed Chris Kaba, a young black man who tried to evade a police roadblock by ramming his vehicle into theirs.

The MoD announced it has “accepted a military aid to the civil authorities request from the Home Office to provide routine counterterrorism contingency support to the Metropolitan Police” and to “keep the public safe and respond to any eventualities.”

The ministry further stated the soldiers deployed shall have no powers of arrest, nor will they be asked to undertake policing tasks.

More than 100 police officers turned in their firearms permits, arguing that they were worried about how it impacts them. One former officer told a radio station, “What is obvious to me, they are not acting out of anger or petulance… They’re incredibly concerned it’s not worth it anymore.”

UPDATE: “As of lunchtime on Monday, the number of officers who had returned to armed duties was sufficient for us to no longer require external assistance to meet our counterterrorism responsibilities,” said the Metropolitan Police.

‘Who Wants to Waste Money?’ GOP Donors Close Wallets, Say Trump Looks Unstoppable.

Establishment Republican donors once hopeful of elevating a candidate other than Donald Trump are growing increasingly resigned to Trump’s dominance. Many are hesitant to give financial contributions, with only 66 individual donors contributing $250,000 or more to GOP presidential primary super PACs through the end of June – a 24 percent drop compared to this time in 2016.

“Trump’s like 50 points ahead,” said one New York-based donor. “Who wants to get involved and waste money?”

Trump, who is running a small-dollar fundraising campaign, has received grassroots donations of $23.7 million through June, which is more than twice the combined grassroots donations of other GOP candidates.

Ron DeSantis, once considered the man most likely to dethrone Trump, appears to be losing the blessing of the donor classing as he slides in the polls, with some looking Nikki Haley instead. Haley garnered 12 percent support in a recent CNN/University of New Hampshire poll, nearly matching the Florida Governor, and a few have already put money on Haley, such as billionaire WhatsApp co-founder Jan Koum, venture capitalist Tim Draper, and venture capitalist Steven Stull.

U.S. Aid is Subsidizing Ukraine Corporates, Paying State Salaries, and Buying Fertilizer for Farmers.

Joe Biden’s government is pumping billions of dollars not only into the Ukrainian war machine, but into the Ukrainian economy, using taxpayer cash to pay the salaries of almost 60,000 state employees, subsidize private businesses, and even buy seed and fertilizer for farmers. At the same time, NATO allies including Poland and Hungary complain their own farmers are being overwhelmed by Ukrainian produce being dumped on European markets.

Reporters discovered U.S. taxpayers are paying the salaries of all 57,000 first responders in Ukraine, and not only subsidizing businesses, but even helping them to secure new customers overseas via USAID.

Perhaps the most controversial discovery is the financial support for Ukrainian farmers, considering Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky is currently lodging proceedings against several European Union neighbors who have banned imports of Ukrainian grain – without the EU’s permission.

Poland, one of the countries involved in this fledgling trade war, even halted military supplies to Ukraine amid the dispute. It had previously been one of Zelensky’s most important backers, supplying him with warplanes and over 300 tanks, and pushing other NATO members to offer similar assistance.

While non-military aid to Ukraine has already reached the tens of billions, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance to Hawaii following devastating wildfires currently stands at around $3.17 million.

School Removes ALL Books Published Pre-2008 In ‘Equity, Inclusivity’ Push.

A high school in Ontario has removed all books published before the year 2008 in an effort to make the school’s library more “inclusive” for students returning from their summer holidays, including Anne Frank’s Diary, the Harry Potter series, and even “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”

Erindale Secondary School in Mississauga removed roughly 50 percent the library’s collection under an “equity-based book weeding” policy implemented by the local school board earlier this year.

“This year, I came into my school library and there are rows and rows of empty shelves with absolutely no books,” said one student.

The “weeding” process is merely the first step in the new policy, with the second comprising an audit of books based on whether they “promote anti-racism, cultural responsiveness, and inclusivity,” and thirdly ensuring the books reflect the “diversity” of the pupils attending the school.

The decision was criticized by the Ontario government, with Minister of Education Stephen Lecce stating: “It is offensive, illogical and counterintuitive to remove books from years past that educate students on Canada’s history, antisemitism or celebrated literary classics.”

The local school board announced following the backlash that it “works to ensure that the books available in our school libraries are culturally responsive, relevant, inclusive, and reflective of the diversity of our school communities and the broader society.”

EXC: Farage to Keynote New York Young Republican Gala 2023.

NEW YORK CITY, New York — The New York Young Republicans Club will today announce that “Mr. Brexit” Nigel Farage will be a keynote speaker for their 111th annual gala in Manhattan, set to take place on December 9th at the ritzy Cipriani Wall Street.

The event will also featured honored guests and speakers including The National Pulse’s own Raheem Kassam, the War Room’s Steve Bannon, and Human Events’ Jack Posobiec.

Tickets are available now.

Farage, now the most watched nightly news host in the United Kingdom, began his career in 1982 as a commodities trader at the London Metal Exchange and years later ran his own metals brokerage firm. He left a successful career behind to go into politics after the Conservative party signed the Maastricht Treaty, which advocated “ever closer union” between European nations. He became a founding member of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) in 1993 and set about campaigning for Britain’s EU withdrawal. In 2014, under Farage’s leadership, UKIP came first in the European election topping the poll in the UK with 4.5 million votes and in doing so became the first political party since 1906 to win a national election that was not the Labour or Conservative parties.

This successful result eventually forced the Conservative Party to hold a referendum on European Union membership. In June 2016, Farage was a leading figure in the campaign to leave. This gained him the name “Mr. Brexit” by Republican Presidential candidate Donald J Trump, whom he supported at a rally on the campaign trail. Nigel Farage was one of the very few that predicted that Donald Trump would win the presidential elections and was the first foreign politician to meet the newly elected President in Trump Tower just days after his historic win.

With it seeming he had won the day, Nigel stepped back from frontline politics, providing political analysis for Fox News in America and presenting a daily show on LBC radio and writing for the Daily Telegraph. In early 2019, he was forced back into Westminster politics in order to stop the Brexit betrayal, founding his new ‘Brexit Party’ to win the May elections in just six weeks of campaigning. This made Nigel the only man in British political history to win two national elections with two different parties.

reparations

Californians Want Reparations for Slavery. They Just Don’t Want to Pay for It.

A new UC Berkeley poll co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Times has found that a strong majority of California voters are opposed to cash payments to the descendants of enslaved African Americans. The poll also revealed, however, that California voters believe that the government should do more to address racial disparities.

Six in 10 said it was unfair to ask today’s taxpayers to pay for wrongs committed in the past, while 53% said it would be unfair to single out one group when other racial and religious groups were also historically wronged. About 1 in 5 said the proposal would cost too much.

Although cash payments were not widely favored, they received more support from women, younger voters, and those born in the U.S. State Senator Steven Bradford recently introduced a bill to create the California American Freedmen Affairs Agency, which would oversee and implement reparations, including cash payments.

“I know who will pay: It’s people like me,” said interviewee Richard Malone, 71. “It won’t be the rich. It won’t be the poor. It will be all of us in the middle. You don’t have to be a mathematician to know that our taxes will have to go up to pay for this.”

The report from the Reparations Task Force highlighted California’s history with slavery, including the presence of enslaved African descendants during the Gold Rush and the existence of loopholes that allowed slavery and discrimination to persist despite the state’s ban on slavery in 1849.

DATA: Trump Holds Massive 10 Point Lead Over Biden.

A Washington Post-ABC News poll has found that President Biden is struggling to gain approval from the American public. Dissatisfaction is growing over his handling of the economy and immigration, and there are concerns about his age as he seeks a second term. The poll also suggests that Biden and former President Donald Trump could face a rematch in the 2024 election, although more than three in five Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents say they would prefer a nominee other than Biden.

Biden’s advisers argue that he is the strongest Democrat for 2024, as there is no consensus among those who wish for someone else. The poll shows Biden trailing Trump by a massive 10 percentage points.

In his bid to become the Republican presidential nominee for a third time, Trump is in a strong position nationally, despite facing multiple criminal charges. He is favored by 54 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is second at 15 percent, and no other Republican reaches double digits. Trump also leads his GOP rivals in recent state polls. The poll also asked about accountability for both Trump and Biden.

Fifty three percent of Americans say Trump is being held accountable under the law like others, while 40 percent say he is being unfairly victimized by his political opponents. Regarding the impeachment inquiry aimed at Biden by House Republicans, 58 percent of Americans say Biden is being held accountable, while 32 percent say he is being unfairly victimized.

Biden’s overall approval stands at 37 percent, with 56 percent of Americans disapproving of his performance. His approval rating on handling the economy has dropped to 30 percent, the lowest of his presidency. Concerns about inflation persist, and the public’s perception of the economy, gas prices, and food prices remains negative. On immigration, 23 percent of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border, while 62 percent disapprove. The poll also revealed significant demographic variations, with Trump leading among men, voters under age 35, and those who say they did not vote in 2020.

The poll was conducted from September 15-20 with a random national sample of 1,006 U.S. adults. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

Smartmatic Execs Accused in Election Bribery Scheme.

Executives for subsidiaries of Smartmatic, the voting technology company currently suing Fox News for defamation, have been accused as uncharged co-conspirators in a bribery case, according to a court filing.

The allegations emerged in a case against the former chairman of the Philippines Commission on Elections, Andres Bautista, with court documents suggesting the US Department of Justice has filed money laundering charges against Bautista, with four Smartmatic executives implicated in the case. Both Smartmatic and Bautista deny any wrongdoing.

Smartmatic, in a statement, maintained that it has complied with all bidding processes and procurement procedures in the Philippines, adhering to the relevant laws and regulations. The company emphasized that winning bids in the country are not based on a single individual’s preference, but involve multiple technical evaluations and assessments. Smartmatic said the ongoing investigation is unrelated to election security or integrity.

Fox News, which settled a defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems earlier this year, is also facing a $2.7 billion lawsuit from Smartmatic and its lead counsel, Erik Connolly, is demanding a full retraction and apology from the news network.

Predictably, Project Veritas Has Folded Without James O’Keefe. Now It’s Suing Him.

Project Veritas has fired all staff and ceased operations, just seven months after founder James O’Keefe was pushed out by the board of directors. O’Keefe, long considered synonymous with the Project Veritas brand, resumed his work with his new O’Keefe Media Group (OMG). Veritas, he says, has now sued him, and blown through the millions of dollars cash-on-hand when O’Keefe left.

“Since James quit, the donations tried up,” said a source. They laid much of the blame for the collapse of Veritas at the feet of O’Keefe’s replacement, Hannah Giles, accusing her of having “lied to everyone claiming she had all these donors she could bring in.”

Raheem Kassam, editor-in-chief at The National Pulse, offered to purchase Project Veritas after it fired most of its staff en masse on August 17th, but it instead kept on a skeleton crew to try and raise funds – evidently without success.
