Bidenomics: Inflation Ticks Up Again.

In another blow to Joe Biden’s economic agenda, the July numbers for the Consumer Price Index (CPI) saw inflation jump back up with headline inflation jumping up 3.2 percent compared to June’s 3 percent increase. The news comes a day after the President gave an economic speech flanked by dozens of signs that read “BIDENOMICS” in an attempt to lean into a term often used to describe his economic ineptitude.

Core CPI, a number that the Federal Reserve takes into consideration when deciding interest rates, increased from 4.5 percent to 4.7 percent. Even a small increase in core CPI is likely of concern to the the Federal Reserve and its Chairman Jerome Powell who have not wavered from their inflation target of 2 percent.

The increase in inflation comes as an ominous sign for investors who had hoped the Federal Reserve might continue to put a pause on rate hikes for the remainder of 2023. The new inflation number is likely to increase pressure on the Federal Reserve’s Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) to announce at least one additional interest rate hike one of the three remaining meetings for 2023 – September 2oth, November 1st, and December 13th respectively.

UK Could Send Illegals to Remote Atlantic Island.

Britain’s governing Conservative Party is hinting it could send illegal aliens to an isolated island in the Atlantic, as it scrabbles to appear tough on immigration having broken almost every promise to get the nation’s border under control.

Migrants have been crossing the English Channel from France in small boats for years, with authorities not only failing to turn them back but actually meeting them at sea to collect them and bring them the rest of the way to Britain.

The Tories, in power since 2010, have been promising to “stop the boats” for years with zero results, and are spending millions on accommodating tens of thousands of boat migrants, some highly dangerous, in often luxurious hotels across the country.

Plans to transfer boat migrants to Rwanda, a safe third country, have come to nothing, being unravelled by activists, lawyers, and liberal judges in the courts, as have plans to accelerate deportations.

Now, with a general election on the horizon, the Tories are making what may be their final, desperate attempt to appear as though they will do something about the issue, by hinting to the press that they could send migrants to Ascension Island, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

As with previous Conservative immigration schemes, there is almost no chance this one will be implemented, due to high costs and expected opposition from Joe Biden’s U.S. government, which jointly operates the only airbase on Ascension.

The island is a remnant of the British Empire, part of the widely scattered British Overseas Territory of St Helena, Ascension, and Tristan da Cunha. It has a long-settled permanent population of over 800, which would be transformed beyond all recognition by the transfer of even a few hundred boat migrants.

Native Americans Demand DC Football Team Reinstate ‘Redskins’ Moniker.

The non-profit Native American Guardians Association (NAGA) has threatened the newly renamed “Washington Commanders” with a boycott similar to that of Bud Light’s parent company Anheuser-Busch unless the American Football team reverts to its historic name, the ‘Washington Redskins.’

The organization has written a letter to the team’s new ownership demanding the opportunity to discuss reinstating the team’s name in a face-to-face meeting, citing lawsuits, polls, and general sentiment to suggest that Native Americans are not offended by the name, ‘Redskin.’ The organization has also launched a “Reclaim The Name” online petition that has attracted over 70,000 signatories so far. However, it has been routinely ignored.

NAGA, as a result, warned the football team that it is willing to appeal to the wider public for support, stating:

“Should we need to encourage a national boycott similar to what happened with Anheuser Busch which is now down $27 billion (note, not one brick thrown, not one highway blocked, not one bridge burned) – WE WILL DO JUST THAT.”

“We attempted to have an open dialogue with the now Washington Commanders since they made the name change several years ago… We felt that it was time to apply public pressure,” added NAGA’s President of Global Impact Campaigns, Healy Baumgardner.

Anheuser-Busch was boycotted after it promoted Bud Light with the controversial transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Bud Light is now so reviled by its customer base that the company even tried to give beer away but failed.

LEAKED DOCS: U.S. Backed Pakistan Coup Over PM’s Ukraine Neutrality.

The former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was forced out of office at the behest of the U.S. Department of State over his refusal to take sides in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, alleges a leaked diplomatic cable.

Asad Majeed Khan, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, was encouraged by State Department officials – including Assistant Secretary Donald Lu – to tell Pakistan’s politically powerful military that if Prime Minister Khan were removed from power, the Central Asian nation could expect warmer relations with the United States. If Prime Minister Khan were not removed, Pakistan’s generals were told that the nation would face economic and political isolation.

The foreign policy shakedown is not dissimilar to the tactic deployed by President Biden himself, when discussing the removal of a top Ukrainian prosecutor.

According to a leaked cable, Assistant Secretary Lu told the Pakistani Ambassador: “I think if the no-confidence vote against the Prime Minister succeeds, all will be forgiven in Washington because the Russia visit is being looked at as a decision by the Prime Minister… Otherwise, I think it will be tough going ahead.”

The meeting between Assistant Secretary Lu and the Pakistani Ambassador occurred on March 7, 2022. One month later, Pakistan’s parliament held a no confidence vote against Prime Minister Khan and he was removed from office. On August 5, 2022, Khan was sentenced to 3 years in prison on charges of corruption.

The U.S. Department of State’s move against the Pakistani leader came after Lu indicated in March 2, 2022 testimony that Pakistan may be moving towards Russia’s side in the conflict with Ukraine. Prime Minister Khan – meanwhile – had reiterated his firm stance against taking any side in the conflict raging in Eastern Europe, declaring at a rally of his supporters just days before the March 7th State Department meeting: “What do you think of us? That we are your slaves and that we will do whatever you ask of us? We are friends of Russia, and we are also friends of the United States. We are friends of China and Europe. We are not part of any alliance.”

Pakistan is a nuclear power whose internal tensions between civilian and military government make its political stability of particular concern to neighboring nuclear power India as well as the United States.

David Hogg’s New Campaign to Get More Losers Like Him In Congress.

Anti-gun activist David Hogg is launching a new political action committee (PAC), which will support getting far-left activists under the age of 35 into federal office, and under-30s into state office. His new ‘Leaders We Deserve’ PAC is planning to target Democrat-held seats in the run-up to the 2024 presidential primaries, and provide financial resources and coaching to nominees.

The PAC-backed candidates will be selected based on their participation in social movements that started during Donald Trump’s first presidential term, such as the Women’s March, the David Hogg-led March for Our Lives, the environmental movement, and Black Lives Matter (BLM).

He also states the main focus of the PAC is to “help turn the tide against this far-right tsunami” spreading across the United States and making Generation Z lose faith in democracy.

“We can work to fix it and make it better as a generation,” Hogg asserts.

women for trump

What Women Want: Trump, Way More Than DeSantis, Says Poll.

New polling from several key primary states shows that former President Donald Trump’s commanding lead over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is primarily fueled by the support of Republican women. In Iowa, Trump holds a 13 point edge with women over DeSantis – while in New Hampshire and Arizona, Trump holds a 26 point and 30 point edge respectively.

These numbers up-end the claims made by “RINO” critics of Trump, that the former President struggles to gain support from female voters. The most vocal anti-Trump Republicans go-so-far as to argue that the only way to win over women voters is to reject Trump and his America First policies all together.

Republican women believe that Trump, not DeSantis, is more likely to stand up against the ‘woke’ agenda – while some women primary voters are unconvinced about DeSantis’s fight with Disney. James Johnson, co-founder of J.L. Partners – the firm that conducted the poll – notes: “Republican women are Trump’s army… It isn’t that women are more conservative than men, but they are much more likely to say they prioritize a candidate who will stand up against woke values than one who can beat President Biden.”

Former President Trump himself has called to task the GOP establishment and media criticism of his support among women, stating at a recent campaign rally, “Remember, they like to go around: ‘Well, will Trump get the independents? Will Trump get the women? You know what the women want? The women want safety. They want to have a border they want to have low taxes, low interest rates.'”

DOJ Fines Musk’s X (Twitter) for Fighting Unconstitutional Trump Warrant.

Court documents show Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) tried to fight a DOJ search warrant filed by the foreign-dwelling, Obama-linked “special prosecutor” Jack Smith, who was seeking access to former President Donald Trump’s infamous social media account. X’s primary objection was to an unusual gag order attached to the warrant, which would have prevented the social media firm notifying Trump that the DOJ now had access to his account, including private, direct messages.

Lawyers for X argued that the order attached to the warrant violated the First Amendment. When the social media company delayed handing over the account access to the DOJ by an additional three days, a federal judge held the company in contempt and fined them $350,000. After the fine, X complied with the warrant and gag order.

On January 8, 2021, President Donald Trump was permanently suspended from Twitter (now X) following the events of January 6th.  Twitter, then under the leadership of its former-CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey, caved to left-wing demands that the President be suspended for inciting violence, despite the fact that Trump had authored several tweets calling for peaceful and non-violent protests. The next day, Trump made a speech condemning the reports of “violence, lawlessness, and mayhem” that had occurred around the Capitol.

When Elon Musk took over Twitter on October 27, 2022 he indicated he would explore reinstating Trump’s Twitter account. The former President’s account was reinstated just under a month later on November 19, 2022 after Musk had asked Twitter users their opinion via a Twitter poll – 51.8 percent of participants supported reinstating the account that Jack Smith and Joe Biden’s DOJ now have access to.

harry's razors

‘Harry’s Razors’ Ad Features Trans Activist.

“Socially-minded” razor blades company Harry’s has partnered with a transgender social media influencer to advertise a product line raising money for The Trevor Project, which in turn promotes “pubertal suppression” drugs for minors.

Influencer Luke Wesley Pearson, a biological female who claims to be a man, prominently displays her breast removal surgery scars in the ad, during which she raves about using Harry’s razors to shave the beard she has grown as a result of steroid use.

“I love growing a beard and maintaining it!” she says, describing the experience as “gender-affirming”.

For every Harry’s Pride Shave Set sold, the company donated $5 to The Trevor Project, an activist nonprofit that promotes “pubertal suppression” drugs and “gender-affirming hormone therapy” for minors.

Separately, Harry’s has introduced “equal” parental leave for mothers and fathers, although chief executive Andy Katz-Mayfield describes them as “birthing parents” and “non-birthing parents”.

Katz-Mayfield has boasted that the leave policy “treats birthing and non-birthing parents equally,” because Harry’s is a company that strives “to sort of be socially-minded and not just be about bottom line profits.”

“Birthing parent” and “birthing person” have become increasingly popular terms among the elite as a way to signal the “correct” views on transgenderism.

Major institutions including Britain’s socialized National Health Service (NHS) and the United Nations (UN) have both tried to make “birthing person” the default terminology, to serve the delusion that women who believe themselves to be the opposite sex really are men, and so cannot be “mothers”.

Related terms such as “people with a cervix” and “people with ovaries” have been invented for men who think they are women, so that women’s doctors can work in line with the reality that biological males do not develop women’s cancers and still avoid acknowledging that they cannot be women at all.

BIDENOMICS: US Housing Affordability at an ‘All-Time Low’.

Housing affordability has reached an ‘all-time low’ in the United States, with the average American having to meet mortgage payments of over $2,600, representing an overall increase in costs by a staggering 19 percent in the last year alone.

There are now 31 states requiring people to pay more than $2,000 per month for their mortgages. Hawaii is the most expensive and the first to have an average payment above $5,000 per month. California is second with $4,800, and Massachusetts is third, requiring homeowners to pay $4,000 per month.

A total of 37 states require “at least 30 percent of median annual income” to get onto the housing ladder. California, for example, is estimated to require a record 64 percent of household income, leading one report to argue: “[this] truly is an unprecedented market.”

Yet it is not merely mortgage payments. The cost of renting has also reached unprecedented highs. The average single-family home costs at least $1,900 a month. American housing affordability is lower than at the height of the “2008 housing crisis,” said Adam Kobeissi, noting that the cost of building materials remains historically high.

40+ Migrants DEAD, Ship Sinks, Open Borders Kill Again.

At least 41 migrants have died in another European mass drowning event, with a people-smuggling vessel carrying them from North Africa capsizing off the coast of the Italian island of Lampedusa. The incident is another example of the deadly consequences of the lax asylum rules insisted on in the European Union (EU) capital of Brussels.

Just four identified survivors of the wreck, three men and one woman from sub-Saharan Africa, were picked up by a passing cargo ship and transferred to the Italian coast guard. They said at least three children were aboard the vessel, which set sail from Tunisia, when it was turned over by a strong wave.

The news comes not long after another migrant ship sank en route to Italy, resulting in over 500 drownings, but the incentives to make the dangerous voyages remain strong, with close to 100,000 people having reached Italy by sea in 2023 already.

Few migrants are deported once they reach European soil, even if they are deemed to have no legitimate claim to refugee status – a stark contrast with the “tough love” policy on boat migrants implemented by Australia after sinkings in its territorial waters.

They stopped their boats crisis almost entirely by insisting no one arriving in Australia by sea could stay in Australia, and would either be turned back immediately or sent to a third country for processing, and hosted in a country other than Australia if found to be a real refugee.

Italy’s new, supposedly populist prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, has failed to implement a similar policy, focusing on supporting Ukraine after winning office rather than keeping the promises on immigration that got her elected.
