kill the boer

New York Times Defends Marxists Calling for Genocide Against Whites.

The New York Times is defending South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party and leader Julius Malema for singing the song ‘Kill the Boer’ – who are white, Dutch-descended Afrikaners. The paper wheeled out academics and activists who insist the anti-white anthem should not be taken “literally”.

Video of Malema, whose party holds 44 seats in the South African legislature, leading a packed stadium in chants of “kill the Boer, the farmer” went viral at the end of July, with Elon Musk posting that he was “openly pushing for genocide of white people” in his home country.

Describing the clip as having been “seized upon by some Americans on the far right, who said that it was a call to violence,” the NYT cited various supposed experts who claim that ‘Kill the Boer’ is not really about genocide, but rather a “call to mobilize against an oppressive system,” at least according to one University of Johannesburg politics professor quoted for the story.

The NYT failed to mention that Malema also led chants of “shoot to kill” while making finger guns and performing an impression of a gun firing, which is perhaps even less ambiguous than chanting “kill the Boer”.

Malema has a long history of endorsing political violence in very much non-metaphorical terms, threatening that he and his followers would not only fight South African police officers on the streets, but come for them and their families “one by one” in the dead of night at a public rally in 2020, for example.

The EFF declares openly that it is a “radical and militant” movement that takes “inspiration from the broad Marxist-Leninist tradition,” with the first pillar of its policy platform being the expropriation of land owned by white people, without compensation, for “equal redistribution”.

hand counting ballots

Arizona RINOs Vote AGAINST Hand Counting Ballots, Say Election Integrity Too Expensive.

“Republican” officials in Mohave County, Arizona have voted down proposals to strengthen election integrity by hand-counting ballots in 2024. They claim that secure elections would be an unaffordable indulgence.

The Board of Supervisors for the county – comprised entirely of so-called Republicans – decided not to swap dubious machine counting for a traditional hand count by three to two, with one of those who voted against the proposal, Supervisor Travis Lingenfelter, saying that “the first thing that we have to do in Mohave County in good conscious [sic] is to balance the budget.”

“You can’t talk about any other spending when you have 18-20 million dollar deficit,” he weaseled, claiming that introducing measures to ensure election integrity would be fiscally “irresponsible.”

Mohave County did conduct a test hand count on a batch of 850 test ballots from the 2022 election before voting against a hand count.

This test went suspiciously poorly, with the count reportedly taking so long that officials calculated that counting all 105,000 ballots cast in 2020 would have taken 245 people working “seven days a week, including holidays, for nearly three weeks.”

Looking to countries like the United Kingdom, where paper ballots counted by hand are near-universal and counts are typically completed over the course of election night, the Mohave County test seems to have been so slow that some would question whether it was designed to fail.

Ukraine Abandons NATO Tactics, Leading to War of Words With U.S.

Ukrainian forces trained on Western soil are increasingly abandoning the tactics they were drilled in by NATO instructors as Russian minefields, artillery, and gunships inflict heavy casualties on their faltering counter-offensive. Biden government officials keen to see a return on their investment are expressing frustration at the changes.

Weeks after the long-awaited Western counter-offensive achieved minimal gains in exchange for serious losses, Ukrainians are reverting to the smaller unit tactics they had developed themselves.

“[T]he U.S. is strongly advising Ukraine not to do certain things, but Kyiv does them anyway, brushing aside or not addressing U.S. concerns,” a Biden government source said.

“And they come at the United States, or Washington or the Biden administration, complaining about not being involved in NATO talks,” the source added, referring to President Volodymyr Zelensky’s bitter comments ahead of a NATO summit in Lithuania, where his Western backers essentially shut the door on Ukrainian membership of the alliance for the foreseeable future.

“The comments made by Zelensky before the last summit did not really resonate well in Washington … the U.S. administration was very annoyed,” the source said.

Govt Pushes for Facial Recognition Tech on UK Streets.

UK government officials are secretly campaigning to introduce facial recognition technology into high street shops and supermarkets under the guise of combating criminality and ‘protecting the community,’ despite the Court of Appeal arguing the use of facial recognition technology was “unlawful” in 2020

The UK Home Office – responsible for immigration, security, and law and order – has cooperated with the “conservative” British Minister of State for Crime, Policing, and Fire, Chris Philip, and the private firm Facewatch to install cameras in high street shops in London and South Wales.

Proponents of the technology argue it has led to an overall reduction in crime of around 25 percent. A spokesman for the Home Office told The Guardian: “New technologies like facial recognition can help businesses protect their customers, staff and stock by actively managing shoplifting and crime.”

However, critics of the government’s push to use the technology suggest it could lead to a Chinese Communist Party-like rollout, whereby around 500 million facial recognition cameras are constantly used to monitor Chinese citizens, regardless of their criminal background. Other concerns include infringements on individual privacy and freedom to speak and associate freely as well as the overall lack of transparency of a government collecting information and data on its citizens.

“Government ministers should strive to protect human rights, not cosy up to private companies whose products pose serious threats to civil liberties in the UK,” argues the advocacy manager of the campaign group Big Brother Watch, Mark Johnson.

“The UK should seek to emulate the European artificial intelligence act, which would place a ban on the use of facial recognition for surveillance purposes in all public spaces,” Johnson adds.

Ohio Taxpayer-Funded Youth Center Teaches Drag to Kids as Young as 11.

An LGBT+ youth center in Ohio marketed to children aged as young as three is running Youth Drag Tutorials on the taxpayers’ dime, via funding intended to support “the local arts and culture sector”.

The Colors+ Youth Center, based a short distance from Cleveland in Fairview Park, describes itself as “a safe space to empower LGBTQ+ youth and allies to grow”, and is replete with executives who claim their pronouns are “They/Them/Theirs”.

Its Youth Drag Tutorials teach “the fundamentals of drag,” including “makeup, costume design, and performance” to children aged as young as 11, and are led by adult drag queens.

The center also provides what it calls a Gender+ Playgroup once a month for “gender expansive/diverse youth ages 3-11,” and provides networking opportunities for potential groomers by “connect[ing] families and caregivers with each other”.

The center claims its activities are “age-appropriate, peer-driven, and affirming for all involved.”

Trump Wants DC Trial Moved to West Virginia.

Donald Trump is fighting to move the latest indictment brought against him by Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) and “deranged” special prosecutor Jack Smith from Democrat-dominated Washington D.C. to nearby West Virginia, and has promised major reforms in the American capital if he returns to the White House.

“The latest Fake ‘case’ brought by Crooked Joe Biden & Deranged Jack Smith will hopefully be moved to an impartial Venue, such as the politically unbiased nearby State of West Virginia! IMPOSSIBLE to get a fair trial in Washington, D.C., which is over 95% anti-Trump, & for which I have called for a Federal TAKEOVER in order to bring our Capital back to Greatness. It is now a high crime embarrassment to our Nation and, indeed, the World. This Indictment is all about Election Interference!!!” the former president told his followers on Truth Social.

The judge currently set to preside over Trump’s case in D.C. is foreign-born Tanya Sue Chutkan, appointed by Barack Obama – to whom she donated – and who is notorious for her harsh treatment of defendants in January 6 cases. Chutkan has frequently handed down sentences harsher than prosecutors’ had requested.

China Limits Kids’ Cell Phone Use.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is looking to restrict the amount of time children can spend on their phones in an effort to create ‘a sense of community of the Chinese nation’ and to counter the growing concerns of Internet addiction.

The Chinese Cyberspace Administration proposed the limit earlier this week, suggesting that all phones will have a “minor mode” option, automatically limiting screen time depending on the child’s age. The CCP claims the restrictions would serve to reduce the consumption of “undesirable information” and promote “good morality” based on socialist values.

Children under eight would be restricted to 40 minutes per day, children between eight and 16 would have an hour, and those between 16 and 18 will be permitted to use their phones for two hours. However, all under 18s would be unable to use their phones between 10 pm and 6 am.

The CCP has made a number of attempts to regulate children’s usage of technology in recent years, highlighting the potential risks of spending too much time online. Last year, the Chinese government introduced a one-hour limit for video games.

Now Even Poland is Accusing Ukraine of Being Ungrateful.

Poland is accusing Ukraine of not showing enough gratitude for the amount of support they have provided, echoing other Western nations who feel that President Zelensky’s government has taken their assistance for granted. Poland has given Ukraine over 1.7 billion euros ($1.85 billion) worth of military aid and has accepted around one million Ukrainian refugees since the war began in February 2022.

Marcin Przydacz, a Polish foreign policy advisor, suggested in an interview earlier this week that Ukraine should “start appreciating the role Poland has played for Ukraine in recent months and years.”

“Ukraine should start appreciating what Poland is doing for it,” Przydacz reiterated.

Ukraine was quick to “categorically reject” the Polish claims, however, with the deputy head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Andrii Sybiha, stating: “It is Ukrainians who are protecting the values and security of our region, and they also do it in the interests of Poland and the entire free world.”

Relations between the two countries have deteriorated following the shouting match. The Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Pavel Yablonsky admitted that currently “there is no agreement” between the two on a number of issues.

Poland is not alone in suggesting that the Ukrainians have been ungrateful. British Secretary of State for Defence, Ben Wallace, argued at the Vilnius NATO summit, “people want to see a bit of gratitude” from Zelensky and his government, adding: “You know, we’re not Amazon.”

In response, Zelensky mocked the British comments and even fired his own ambassador for agreeing with the UK position.

Early Adopter Ed Rollins Abandons ‘Flawed Candidate’ DeSantis.

Ed Rollins, responsible for the early adopter ‘Ready for Ron PAC,’ has abandoned the Governor of Florida’s collapsing presidential campaign, admitting that DeSantis has been a ‘flawed candidate’ unable to focus on anything else other than the culture war in an interview with the left-wing magazine, Rolling Stone.

Rollins admitted his frustration with DeSantis’s candidacy, and explained the Florida Governor only has himself to blame: “I know some of the people around him, and some of them are good, talented people.”

“Every time he opens his mouth, he has a tendency to — shall we say — think out-loud, and he clearly doesn’t understand the game… When you get into these culture wars the way that he has, the vast majority of people don’t understand what they are,” Rollins continued.

Rollins, in his own words, has spent the last 12 months running thousands of TV ads, creating tens of millions of online connections, and mailing millions of Americans on behalf of the Governor of Florida to little avail as DeSantis continues to slide toward single-digits in the polls.

“A top-to-bottom makeover and real accountability may be the only thing that saves Ron DeSantis, but even then you still have the governor at the top… And it is getting harder and harder by the day to see not just his people as the problem, but him as the problem,” he added.

DeSantis dismissed Rollins’ comments as “nonsense” during a recent appearance on Fox. He also doubled down on his culture war-obsessed campaign, calling it “central to the lives of tens of millions of people.”

Trump Pleads Not Guilty On Jan 6 Charges in D.C.

Former President Donald Trump was arraigned in Washington, D.C. today after being indicted by a federal grand jury over accusations regarding the role he played in the protests at the U.S. Capitol Building on January 6, 2021. In response to the charges Trump pled ‘not guilty’. A trial date will be set at the next hearing scheduled for August 28th.

Addressing the press after his arraignment, former President Trump called it, “…a very sad day for America.” He lamented the state of decay he saw while driving through Washington, D.C. on his way to the Federal Courthouse, saying it was not the place that he had left. Before boarding his plane, Trump added:

This is the political persecution of a political opponent. This was never supposed to happen in America. This is a persecution of the person that’s leading by very very substantial numbers in the Republican primary and leading Biden by a lot. So if you can’t beat them you persecute them or you prosecute them. We can’t let this happen in America.

Shortly before departing the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, Trump posted on Truth Social:

Outside the Federal Courthouse in Washington, D.C.Trump attorney Alina Habba briefed members of the press, noting that after every new break in the Hunter and Joe Biden scandal, former President Trump has faced an indictment or legal proceeding brought forward by either the DOJ or a Biden political ally. Habba concluded: “This is election interference at its finest against the leading candidate right now for president.”

Mike Davis, a conservative attorney and founder of the Article 3 Project, blasted the arraignment and DOJ indictment of former President Donald Trump: “It is not illegal to challenge elections in the United States of America. It’s only illegal to challenge elections in third-world Marxist hellholes. That’s why Democrats were not charged for challenging Republican presidential wins in 1968, 2000, 2004, and 2016.”

Will Scharf, a former U.S. attorney and candidate for Missouri Attorney General, called the Jack Smith DOJ indictment of Trump, “…a highly political document, riddled with legal and factual infirmities. This indictment should have never been brought to a grand jury in the first place.”

Despite the arraignment, the former President appeared to be in good spirits earlier this afternoon. In another post on Truth Social, Trump quipped:
