The Vatican announced that transgender people can be baptized in the Catholic Church, witnesses at religious weddings, and become godparents on Wednesday, representing the continued liberalization of the Christian denomination under Pope Francis‘s premiership.
The decision, approved by the Pontiff on October 31, was announced in response to six questions sent to the Vatican by Brazilian Bishop Jose Negri of Santo Amaro, who sought clarification regarding LGBT involvement in the church.
“A transgender person, even if they have undergone hormone therapy and sex-reassignment surgery, can receive baptism under the same conditions as other faithful, if there are no situations in which there is a risk of generating a public scandal or disorientation among the faithful,” the Vatican stated.
However, priests may refuse to baptize a transgender person if “there is a danger of scandal, undue legitimisation or disorientation in the educational sphere of the church community.”
The church also now permits gay people to be witnesses at Catholic weddings but does not allow them to be godparents to baptized children.
The announcement comes soon after Pope Francis suggested he was open to blessing same-sex relationships on a case-by-case basis last month.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has arrested three men for running “sophisticated high-end brothels” servicing customers including “elected officials, high tech and pharmaceutical executives, doctors, military officers, government contractors that possess security clearances, professors, attorneys, scientists and accountants, among others.”
Per the DOJ, “[i]nterested sex buyers were allegedly required to provide employer information and references before booking appointments,” raising the possibility that the network was being utilized to gain “kompromat” on U.S. officials.
Han ‘Hana’ Lee, 41, and Junmyung Lee, 30, both of Massachusetts, and James Lee, 68, of California, have been charged with conspiracy to coerce and entice to travel to engage in illegal sexual activity for operating the brothels in greater Boston and eastern Virginia.
The network appears to have been highly lucrative, with rent for the locations it used running as high as $3,664 per month, and prostitutes being trafficked primarily from Asia.
The network’s so-called “verification process” for so-called “sex buyers,” required customers to “complete a form providing their full names, email address, phone number, employer and reference if they had one.”
None of the alleged “sex buyers” have had their identities disclosed as of the time of publication, however, despite many being high-status individuals with roles in government and access to sensitive information.

A college professor at the University of Montreal has allegedly been caught on camera telling a Jewish student to “go back to Poland,” as well as screaming expletives such as “your mother is a whore” and “son of a bitch” in Hebrew.
Social media sleuths were quick to identify lecturer Yanise Arab as the culprit at the incident that took place at Concordia University on Wednesday, November 8th 2023.
Arab, whose university profile describes him as an expert on the State of Palestine, colonization and decolonization, emigration and immigration, and “modern times”, did not respond to a request for comment from The National Pulse.
The incident began when Jewish students were raising awareness about hostages held by Hamas, and an anti-Israel counter-protest ensued. Two security guards aged 54 and 19, as well as a student aged 23, are reported injured. A 22-year-old student arrested for the attack on the older security guard.
“These anti-Semitic and violent acts are completely unacceptable and must be condemned by all,” said Yair Szlak, who heads the Canadian Jewish organization Federation CJA.
The news comes as a day after college professor Loay Alnaji was identified as the killer of Jewish protestor Paul Kessler in California.

A so-called “coding error” caused voting machines in an eastern Pennsylvania county to malfunction and erroneously tabulate votes on a ballot question asking whether two Superior Court Judges should be retained. Northampton County, Pennsylvania executive Lamont McClure said if a voter marked ‘Yes’ on their ballot the machine tabulated it as a ‘No’, and vice-versa.
The malfunction impacted all 300 of Northampton County’s voting machines according to McClure. The Pennsylvania Department of State said the error was isolated to machines in Northampton and only impacted the retention question for the two judges. No other races on Tuesday’s election ballot were impacted.
Election Systems & Software, the company which manufactured and programed the voting machines, acknowledged they were responsible for tabulation issue. The company claimed the malfunction was the result of human error and was not caught during testing.
After the issue was discovered, the county obtained a court order to continue using the machines despite the malfunction. McClure said election officials would correct the election results for the two judges when the votes are tabulated. The Northampton County executive downplayed the situation calling the malfunction a “relatively minor glitch” and emphasized “everybody’s vote’s going to count.”
The National Pulse previously reported most voting machines will not meet new federal standards in time for the 2024 election, renewing concerns about legitimacy of the results. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has refused to address serious concerns about vulnerabilities in the state’s Dominion voting machines raised in the Halderman Report.

Republican Governor of Mississippi Tate Reeves secured a second gubernatorial term in the Magnolia State, winning a clear majority of the vote against Democratic challenger Brandon Presley and therefore avoiding a run-off election. The sitting governor took 52 percent of the vote (404,926 votes) compared to Presley’s 47 percent (362,601).
“Mississippi has momentum, and this is Mississippi’s time,” Governor Reeves announced after the results to cheering supports in the state capital of Jackson on Tuesday night.
“This victory … it’s really about the direction that our state will go over the next four years,” he added.
Republicans have held the Mississippi governorship for the last two decades. The last Democrat to win in the state was Jimmy Carter in the 1976 presidential election. The race was unusually close between Reeves and Presley, though the state’s electorate preferred Reeves’ focus on job creation, low unemployment, and improvements to education.
Reeves was also endorsed by former President Donald Trump going into the race, with Don Jr, the son of the 45th President, posting on X (formerly Twitter), “Hey Mississippi don’t let some psychopath democrat take over and destroy your great state. It’s Election Day, get out and vote for Trump-endorsed [Tate Reeves] for Governor! MAGA!

Donald Trump’s net worth has increased by approximately $500 million since he left the White House, despite a Democrat attorney general and judge trying to undermine his business empire in New York.
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index – unlikely to be especially sympathetic to Trump, given his public humiliation of ‘Mini’ Michael Bloomberg – reports the former president’s fortune has risen from $2.6 billion to $3.1 billion.
“Trump’s businesses are proving resilient in the face of a gloomy real estate market,” Bloomberg concedes, noting the MAGA kingpin’s Mar-a-Lago Club is prospering and revenues from his golf course have “surged,” leaving him “sitting on more cash and less leverage than at any point in the past decade.”
In New York, Attorney General Letitia ‘Tish’ James is taking Trump and his business empire to court for civil fraud, claiming he overvalued his net worth. Judge Arthur Engoron, who has donated thousands of dollars to the Democrats, ruled Trump was liable before hearings even began, and had a red-faced courtroom meltdown when the former president testified in person yesterday and called out his bias.
Engoron’s valuation of Mar-a-Lago at less than $30 million has proven one of the most controversial aspects of the case, with Bloomberg not agreeing with Trump’s $612.1 million valuation but still going far beyond the New York valuation with an estimate of $240 million.
The outlet could offer little defense of the New York valuation, quoting a Palm Beach real estate expert who said it was “a shock to the real estate community and anybody with any understanding of the island and its values.”
Trump: He said Mar-a-Lago is worth $18 million, what a fraud. As President of the US, we did a great job. Just look at the president we have today. It's a terrible thing you've done. You believed that political hack back there [Silence]

In a Monday video address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said calls for holding an election are irresponsible in the midst of the nation’s ongoing military conflict with Russia. “We all understand that now, in wartime, when there are many challenges, it is utterly irresponsible to engage in topics related to an election in such a frivolous manner,” Zelensky said, before adding: “I believe that it’s not the right time for elections.”
The prospects of Zelensky moving forward with the 2024 Ukrainian presidential election have been murky for some time. Over 100 NGOs, several of which are funded by George Soros, recently made a public appeal asking that the elections be delayed. The ostensibly pro-democracy groups reasoned that an election could risk a “loss of legitimacy” for Zelensky’s government and undermine the war effort if he underperforms expectations. ““Elections alone do not constitute democracy,” the groups argued.
Ukrainian first lady Olena Zelenska appeared uncertain whether her husband would even run for re-election should they be held. While in Washington, D.C. with her husband to lobbying lawmakers on Capitol Hill for billions more in U.S. taxpayer dollars to be sent to Ukraine as military aid, the Ukrainian first lady appeared to indicate she was encouraging her husband to bow out of politics.
“Even when he ran for the first time, I didn’t fully endorse it,” Olena Zelenska said on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation’. “But if he runs again, if he runs for the second time, if he decided it is necessary — well, we have some experience, we’ve been there.” Zelenska went on to suggest next year’s election may not occur at all.

In 2015, the judge now overseeing the Trump case in New York – Arthur Engoron – was inducted into the State Supreme Court of New York. A former cab driver, Engoron was appointed to the New York City Civil Court in 2003 and ran unopposed for State Supreme Court.
The judge, whose temper flared with former President Trump on the stand on Monday, exclusively thanked far-left, New York Democrat clubs for his ascent during the 2015 induction. One of the groups he mentioned was the Barack Obama Democratic Club, an upper-Manhattan far-left group that supported the election of Gabriela Rosa in 2012. In 2014 it was revealed Rosa bought a sham marriage for U.S. citizenship for just $8,000. She took a plea deal and received just 366 days in prison.
Another organization Engoron thanked is the Sojourner Truth Democratic Club, named for an abolitionist who also became the inspiration for the Sojourner Truth Organization – a communist group which gained traction in the 1960s.

An increased number of women are searching online for unvaccinated sperm donors following growing concerns about the various adverse effects of the COVID-19 vaccines on reproduction, reports suggest.
Women are flocking to online groups on social media sites like Facebook to find men who refused the vaccines rather than relying on the more traditional sperm banks.
Jonathan David Rinaldi, the founder of one online group with hundreds of members, claims the space has helped dozens of people start families, with members ranging from young professionals, homosexual couples to single women from across the world.
One post in the group reads, “I’m an unvaccinated man (sperm not modiefied [sic] by mRNA)… Revolutionary. Dedicated my life to activism.”
Another states, “FYI: I will not explain why I desire an unvaccinated donor in this threat and I am not interested in being “educated” about the Covid jab…”
Rinaldi, a long-term sperm donor who refers to himself as “the sperminator,” justified the trend by stating, “I don’t trust government, big Pharma, I don’t trust them, and I don’t need to inject myself with things that I don’t even know what it is.”
Concerns about the impact of the vaccines are not unfounded, as multiple studies have found they have a detrimental effect on sperm count and menstrual cycles, among other things.

United States federal government agencies co-ordinated with so-called “disinformation” experts at Stanford University to actively monitor and censor the speech of conservative writers and commentators in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election, according to an interim staff report from the House Committee on the Judiciary and the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, published on Monday evening.
The report reveals the federal government “effectively outsourced” mass online censorship to the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), led by academics at the Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO), which pressured social media companies into labeling truthful information, political opinions, and even jokes as “misinformation.”
The EIP, established in the summer of 2020 at the request of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), operated in tandem with the Department of Homeland Security and the Global Engagement Center, a multi-agency entity within the State Department, to allow the federal government to censor information while bypassing public scrutiny and the First Amendment.
Federal agencies and organizations funded by the U.S. government submitted “misinformation reports” directly to the EIP, who would then contact major social media platforms, such as Twitter (now known as ‘X’), YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and Facebook, with recommendations as to how posts should be dealt with. This included reducing the information’s “discoverability,” temporarily suspending accounts, monitoring particular accounts, as well as removing posts.
The taxpayer-funded federal agencies were quick to justify their actions, arguing they have a responsibility to combat potential interference in American elections by hostile foreign actors.
However, the EIP disproportionately targeted conservatives. Vast quantities of truthful information posted by those on the right was marked as disinformation while “false information posted by Democrats and liberals was largely unreported and untouched by the censors.” Those actively censored included Jack Posobiec, Charlie Kirk, Benny Johnson, and even former President Donald Trump, among a large number of others.
“The pseudoscience of disinformation is now — and has always been — nothing more than a political ruse most frequently targeted at communities and individuals holding views contrary to the prevailing narratives,” the report argues. Yet, the unjust surveillance of conservatives by the federal government or agencies thereof is not merely limited to 2020 as the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has begun weaponizing its resources to target supporters of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement in the run-up to November 2024.
