WATCH: DeSantis Boasts of Drawing 30-40 People in Iowa

Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis boasted that he was able to draw between 30 and 40 people to some of his campaign events in Iowa over the weekend, as a bizarre way of proving that he has the charisma to become President of the United States.

DeSantis was asked by Fox’s Howard Kurz in an appearance on Sunday whether he thought the media was focusing too much on his personality rather than his policies, and whether he has the charisma and the “common touch with voters.”

In response, the Florida man argued that the media has a “pre-determined narrative” that focuses on “superficialities and trivialities” because he has a “great record to run on” including political and policy success, explaining:

“They used to say the Governor [of Florida] doesn’t do retail campaigning, he’s not gonna be able to go to Iowa, and, you know, yesterday I’m out there doing events, we have 30-40 people at some of these things, shaking hands, answering questions, doing all of that…”

Meanwhile, in DeSantis’ home state of Florida, thousands of people attended former President Donald Trump’s speech at the Turning Point Action Conference in West Palm Beach on Saturday, which DeSantis snubbed.

‘Mohammed’ is The Most Common Name Amongst Arrested ‘French’ Rioters.

‘Mohammed’ was overwhelmingly the most common name among those arrested during the recent French riots, reports the French newspaper L’Opinion, which analyzed a sample of the most common monikers amongst over 2,000 arrested throughout the uprisings in late June.

Mohammed appeared 81 times in a sample of 335 arrests, 50 times more than second place Yanis –another name with Arab origins – which appeared 31 times. In fact, several Arab names were prevalent among the random sample of 335, with Yacin appearing 11 times, Ali appearing 13, and Ibrahim at 10.

The names were revealed after the French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin argued that many of the names arrested were more typical French names, including Kevin and Matteo. Yet, neither features prominently in the list revealed by L’Opinion. 

“No one can ignore reality anymore… in spite of everything, most of the political class wants to believe that it is a social crisis when the root cause is obvious: immigration,” asserts the former French presidential candidate, Eric Zemmour.

The riots in France were recently compared to the French Revolution of 1789 in terms of scale and destruction by the former French spy chief, Pierre Brochand.

UK’s Weapons Stocks Are ‘Dangerous Low’ As a Result of Arming Ukraine.

The United Kingdom (UK) is running ‘dangerously low’ on weapons and ammunition as a result of the war in Ukraine and the nation’s lackadaisical efforts to replace them, argues the former British Secretary of Defence and Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson.

“If you talk to senior military people, even those in office at the moment, some will be quite categoric that [Britain is] running dangerously low on stocks of ammunition,” stated Lord Robertson, who defended British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace’s “We’re not Amazon,” rebuke after Ukraine’s President Zelensky drew up a wishlist of all the weaponry he wanted from the UK.

Lord Robertson went on to express his concern that Britain was giving munitions to Ukraine much faster than it was replacing them in comparison to Russia, which “is working its factories round the clock in order to reconstitute what it can.”

“We don’t seem to be doing it at the same pace as we are giving the arms away. I am concerned and so indeed are the military. They are gravely concerned that we may be prejudicing our own defence, by not refreshing the stocks that we have,” he adds.

The UK is not alone in seeing its munitions stocks dissipate. The Biden administration admitted it’s sending controversial cluster bombs to Ukraine because the United States and the West are running out of supplies.

DeSantis Sheds Staff Amidst Cash Crunch, Poor Polling.

Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis has fired a number of his staff due to his struggling presidential campaign failing to meet fundraising goals, as well as burning through inordinate amounts of large, corporate donor cash less than two months after he announced that he was running for the Republican presidential nomination.

The news came just days after National Pulse Editor-in-Chief predicted the “shake up” on The Campaign Trail podcast as well as on Twitter:

Another major revelation is that just 15 percent of the DeSantis campaign’s donations came from “small-dollar donors,” compared to former president Donald Trump, who is heavily reliant on smaller donations from his fanbase. Instead, DeSantis has relied upon donors with international corporate interests, such as Morteza “Mori” Hosseini, who has bankrolled Nancy Pelosi and supported the Obamas, and globalists like Howard Cox, who served on a World Economic Forum board alongside Klaus Schwab.

Much of the internal campaign frustration has been aimed at Generra Peck, a former D.C. lobbyist.

“She should be [in the hot seat]” one DeSantis donor said, with another Republican source saying: “They never should have brought so many people on, the burn rate was way too high… People warned the campaign manager but she wanted to hear none of it.”

“DeSantis stock isn’t rising,” the donor added. “Twenty percent is not what people signed up for.”

In response, the DeSantis campaign aide, Andrew Romeo, argued in a statement: “Americans are rallying behind Ron DeSantis and his plan to reverse Joe Biden’s failures and restore sanity to our nation, and his momentum will only continue as voters see more of him in person…”

The news comes at the end of another poor week for Florida’s Governor, who saw his delegate forecast hit an all-time low. Donors, including the Murdochs, are subsequently looking to go elsewhere.

Migrant Flows DOUBLE Under Meloni, Who Seems More Focused on Ukraine.

From the beginning of 2023 to July 12th, 73,414 illegal aliens reached Italy by sea, compared to 31,333 over the same period in 2022. Giorgia Meloni, who became Prime Minister of Italy in October 2022, is also radically increasing legal mass migration to the Mediterranean country despite running on a populist-nationalist platform to lower migration.

Meloni and her Brothers of Italy (FdI) party topped the polls on their eurosceptic, socially conservative, and especially anti-mass migration platform. The 46-year-old prime minister even claimed she would impose a naval blockade to stop boat migrants, often transported most of the way to Europe by so-called “rescue” ships operated by foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs). But she has thus far failed to do so, instead offering much of her attention to Ukraine’s defensive war against Russia instead.

Meloni has adopted a fierce anti-Russian, pro-Ukrainian stance, despite the damage the associated sanctions war has done to Italy’s economy. Her compliant approach has earned her a level of acceptance in Washington D.C., however, with President Joe Biden pictured holding hands with her in May, and recently inviting her to the White House.

While neglecting the issue of illegal immigration, Meloni appears to have caved to big business interests on legal immigration, with her government announcing it will hand out almost half a million visas to non-European Union nationals between 2023 and 2025. In 2019, by contrast, only 30,850 such visas were issued.

Biden Brings in Advisors, Lures Celebs as Young Dem Voters Drop Off.

The number of 18 to 29-year-old who identify as Democrats has slipped from 64 percent to 49 percent since 2019, and the Biden White House is bringing on new advisors and seeking partnerships with influencers and celebrities to win them back. The left-wing alarm bells have been rung by John Della Volpe, an advisor and pollster to President Joe Biden himself.

The number of young people who believe politics cannot meet the country’s challenges has risen from 36 percent to 52 percent over the same period, suggesting serious dissatisfaction with the 80-year-old President.

“These voters gotta buy into the values of the party and the candidates… You can’t do that in a full-week ad buy after Labor Day,” Volpe said, warning that if the Democrats’ share of the youth vote drops below 60 percent things will get “ugly” for them. Volpe associate Richard Sweeney, amongst others, has been recruited by the White House to address the issue, while insider media outlet POLITICO has predicted “more White House celeb sightings like BTS and Olivia Rodrigo” as Biden seeks to appear relevant.

Similar stunts have fallen flat in the past. Transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney was invited to the White House to meet Biden to celebrate “day 222 of being a girl” but went on to become a highly divisive figure after an aborted partnership with Bud Light. Another young trans influencer, Rose Montoya, embarrassed the President by displaying his artificial breasts at a White House Pride party.

In-N-Out Bans Employees From Wearing Masks, Prompting Leftist Meltdown.

The California cult burger chain In-N-Out is banning its employees from wearing masks, according to an e-mail purportedly sent to the firm’s Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Nevada, and Utah associates.

“We are introducing new mask guidelines that emphasize the importance of customer service and the ability to show our Associates’ smiles and other facial features while considering the health and well-being of all individuals,” says the e-mail posted by left-wing “communicator” and Columbia University Irving Medical Center media officer Dr. Lucky Tran – who is demanding his 60,000 Twitter followers contact In-N-Out to express their disapproval for the policy.

The e-mail continued: “No masks shall be worn in the Store or Support facility unless an Associate has a valid medical note exempting him or her from this requirement. Associates who wear masks for medical reasons must wear a company-provided N-95 mask. Note: A different type of mask may only be worn with a valid medical note exempting the Associate from the N-95 mask requirement.”

In-N-Out also fought back against California’s vaccine policing, insisting in 2021: “We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. It is unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurant associates to segregate customers into those who may be served and those who may not, whether based on the documentation they carry, or any other reason.”

Texas Republicans Punch Back at GOP-Controlled House Over Paxton Impeachment.

The Dallas County GOP has voted to condemn the Texas House’s impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton, a prominent, Trump-supporting conservative targeted by establishment Republicans partnered with left-wing “impeachment managers”. The group is the largest party association in the state. The Texas GOP as a whole also blasted the move as “illegal.”

“Now therefore be it resolved that the Dallas County Republican Party CONDEMNS the process by which the Texas House of Representatives impeached General Paxton as unprecedented and an offense to Due Process and the Rule of Law, and hereby IMPLORES Texas L. Governor Dan Patrick and members of the Texas Senate to uphold Due Process, fairness, precedent, and the Rule of Law by immediately returning the impeachment articles to the House of Representatives and conduct no further proceedings in the Texas Senate unless and until the House of Representatives fully satisfies due process, complies with applicable Texas law, and adheres to precedent regarding the Constitutional and statutory impeachment processes, and that Ken Paxton [may] immediately resume his duties as duly-elected Attorney General.

While the Texas House is supposed to be under Republican control, the impeachment effort was led by Ann Johnson, a Democrat. Democrats also made up majority of House members voting to impeach Paxton – though more House Repulicans joined them than opposed them, putting them badly out of step with the Republican grassroots in the Lone Star State.

Worse, the impeachment was rushed through in 48 hours without due process. Paxton was not given the opportunity to refute the supposed evidence against him – indeed, months on from the impeachment vote, Paxton, his counsel, and the American public still had no real detail on the charges leveled against him.

Coverage of this situation by The National Pulse saw Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick inundated with demands to to take action against House impeachment managers. Hours later, Patrick used his authority as President of the Texas Senate and Presiding Officer of the Court of Impeachment to impose a discovery order on the House, ordering impeachment managers to produce the evidence being used against Paxton or face contempt of court proceedings.

Zelensky Mocks Request for Gratitude Towards Western Taxpayers.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has mocked the idea of showing gratitude towards Western taxpayers after British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace suggested “people want to see a bit of gratitude” from Kiev.

“Let him write to me [about] how else I should express my words of gratitude or we could get up in the morning and express our words of gratitude to the minister,” Zelensky said sarcastically, implying some kind of ceremonial thanking to placate Wallace.

NATO members in Europe have run down their stocks of armor and shells to supply Zelensky. Even America has had to resort to sending him controversial cluster bombs as munitions run low.

While Zelensky claimed the NATO summit was a “meaningful success” for Ukraine, he was scathing of the alliance shortly before his arrival, blasting its “absurd” failure to offer him either membership or a clear timeline on membership. Viral photographs from the summit show the Ukrainian, once the perennial center of attention, left alone amid NATO leaders, and glaring angrily at the cameras.

Biden’s White House Called 42 ‘Brunch Lids’ This Year – What Are Those?

The Biden White House has called 42 “brunch lids” and 39 “lunch lids” this year, according to analysis by the Spectator magazine, which explains:

The White House typically calls a temporary press lid for a couple of hours each afternoon. This is a period of time where there are no public events on the president’s schedule and everyone in the press corps is allowed to rest and recharge.

Previous administrations were big on calling these “lunch lids,” but due to the pause on activity starting earlier in the day and the Biden admin just being bad and bougie, “brunch lid” has become the new favorite term. From Cockburn’s rough count of White House pool reports so far this year, the Biden admin has called thirty-nine lunch lids and forty-two brunch lids. Talk about a bottomless brunch!

While humorous and “very D.C.”, the policy goes a long way to explaining the inefficacy of Biden’s White House and the press corps that is supposed to hold it to account. Fundamentally, they’re starting their days at 8am, and calling a “lid” by 11 for “brunch”. It’s unclear as to whether or not many of those who are brunching even end up coming back to the office after.

Biden has vacationed an inordinate amount during his time in the Oval Office, often at the expense of his political donors, who are known to ask favors in return for use of their facilities.
