The Biden White House has called 42 “brunch lids” and 39 “lunch lids” this year, according to analysis by the Spectator magazine, which explains:
The White House typically calls a temporary press lid for a couple of hours each afternoon. This is a period of time where there are no public events on the president’s schedule and everyone in the press corps is allowed to rest and recharge.
Previous administrations were big on calling these “lunch lids,” but due to the pause on activity starting earlier in the day and the Biden admin just being bad and bougie, “brunch lid” has become the new favorite term. From Cockburn’s rough count of White House pool reports so far this year, the Biden admin has called thirty-nine lunch lids and forty-two brunch lids. Talk about a bottomless brunch!
While humorous and “very D.C.”, the policy goes a long way to explaining the inefficacy of Biden’s White House and the press corps that is supposed to hold it to account. Fundamentally, they’re starting their days at 8am, and calling a “lid” by 11 for “brunch”. It’s unclear as to whether or not many of those who are brunching even end up coming back to the office after.
Biden has vacationed an inordinate amount during his time in the Oval Office, often at the expense of his political donors, who are known to ask favors in return for use of their facilities.

Former Vice President Mike Pence was quizzed by Tucker Carlson on Friday as to whether or not he was concerned about the decline across American cities, including skyrocketing suicide rates and major economic decline. In response, he began, “That’s not my concern,” before going on to state he was running for President of the United States because he believes in addressing both domestic issues but also in continuing a costly proxy war against Russia, via Ukraine.
Pence, 64, was speaking at the The Blaze’s ‘Summit’ hosted by the former Fox News anchor, who pressed him on the wisdom of spending billions in Eastern Europe while “every city in America has become much worse.”
Tucker concluded, “Where’s the concern for the United States?” before Pence shot back, “That’s not my concern.”
Pence added: “Tucker I’ve heard that routine from you before but that’s not my concern. I’m running for President of the United States because I think this country’s in a lot of trouble… as President of the United States we’re gonna restore law and order in our cities, secure our border, get this economy moving again, make sure we have men and women on our courts at every level that will stand for our right to life… anybody who says we can’t be leader of the free world and solve our problems at home has a pretty small view of the greatest nation on Earth. We can do both.”
His answer came moments after Tucker caught candidate Tim Scott urging more support in destroying Russia, also.
WATCH:
Tucker: "Every city in America has become worse over the past few years… Your concern is that Ukraine don't have enough tanks… Where's the concern for America in that?"

Of 100,000 voter registration challenges in Georgia since 2020, some 11,100 were upheld, according to a ProPublica analysis of 30 of the Peach State’s 159 counties. Regular citizens were empowered to challenge people on the voter rolls if, for example, they appeared to be improperly registered to P.O. boxes or business addresses following the 2020 election, in response to “many electors [being] concerned about allegations of rampant voter fraud”.
Around 90 percent of the challenges were lodged by just six dedicated election integrity activists, with a further 12 people accounting for most of the remainder. While ProPublica framed this negatively, one of the activists insisted he was “free labor trying to help the system to make sure everyone can vote.”
“I’m not trying to suppress anyone. I just want clean voter rolls for a multitude of reasons,” he explained – citing, for example, the risk of mail-in absentee ballots being used by the wrong people.
Georgia’s state leaders are not generally concerned with mitigating possible electoral abuses, however, with Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger refusing to do anything about the “critical vulnerabilities” scientists have found in its Dominion voting machines.
In the mean time, activists are experiencing around a 12 percent success rate in challenging voter registration inconsistencies — hardly the “statistically zero” number of problems claimed by corporate media outlets when discussing election integrity.

Hunter Biden lawyer Abbe Lowell has written to former President Donald Trump’s lawyers warning of “more legal trouble” if he does not leave Hunter alone.
“[Y]ou should make clear to Mr. Trump – if you have not done so already – that Mr. Trump’s words have caused harm in the past and threaten to do so again if he does not stop,” Lowell wrote, adding that Trump should be told “his incitement can further hurt people and cause himself even more legal trouble.”
Hunter’s lawyer appeared to take particular issue with Trump’s recent commentary on cocaine being found at the White House. The former president has suggested the narcotics belonged to Hunter, a supposedly recovering drug addict discharged from the military for cocaine abuse, and joked that the First Son intended to “feed a little bit to his father to give him energy.”
“You know, if Mr. Trump does not, that Mr. Biden has neither committed nor been accused of the charges that your client is claiming… and that the Biden family was not at the White House (let alone in the vestibule) in the period when the cocaine was found,” Lowell insisted.

Former President Donald Trump has slammed President Joe Biden for his executive order readying 3,000 U.S. army reservists in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, which “provides rotational deployments of combat-credible forces to Europe” related to the 2014 Russia invasion of Crimea.
Trump insisted that Biden’s order “proves that his reckless escalation in Ukraine is straining the U.S. military to the point of disaster.”
The 45th President added: “Just last week, Biden shockingly admitted that our arsenals are so badly depleted that the United States is running out of ammunition. Now, we see the ranks are growing so thin that reserve troops are being forced to support Biden’s calamitous policy in Europe, while our own borders remain undefended.”
“Joe Biden can’t even walk up the steps of Air Force One without tripping. The last thing this incompetent administration should be doing is pushing us further toward World War Three.”
– Donald J. Trump, July 2023
“Yet Biden has proclaimed that he will continue sending American treasure and weaponry to fuel endless war in Ukraine for “as long as it takes.” When I am reelected, it will take 24 hours. This conflict must end. Not one American mother or father wants to send their child to die in Eastern Europe. We must have PEACE.
“As President, I will AGAIN rebuild America’s military and restore the readiness and deterrence that Joe Biden has so dangerously squandered, and I will return to a foreign policy that puts AMERICA FIRST, so that we can once again have PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.”

MSNBC is considered to be more trustworthy by Democrat voters than CNN, according to a recent survey from Rasmussen Reports. A total of 23 percent of Democrats trust MSNBC compared to the 22 percent who trust CNN.
CNN has faced a number of challenges since it’s hyper-editorialised, anti-Trump derangement, post-2015. Recently, the network fired its CEO Chris Licht for having the temerity to host a former President and presidential front runner in a town hall where he mopped the floor with the channel’s newest nightly anchor, Kaitlin Collins.
The most trusted corporate media organization is still Fox News, both amongst the American public and Republican voters. But the numbers are hardly solid. Just one in four – 25 percent – of Americans “trust” Fox News, with that figure increasing to 43 percent amongst Republican voters. Notably, Democrats trust Fox News more than they trust ABC, CBS, and NBC News.
Media Bias.
Rasmussen also asked the 1,005 likely US voters: “Is the problem of bias in the news media getting better or worse? Or is the problem about the same as usual?”
A majority of 58 percent told Rasmussen they believe media bias has worsened, including almost half of Democrats – 42 percent – and a whopping 68 percent of Republicans. Only 13 percent of the respondents believe that media bias has improved.

Chris Christie says he could beat up former President Donald Trump.
“The guy’s 78 years old, I’d kick his ass,” claimed Christie, who is 60 and morbidly obese, in an interview with Piers Morgan. The former president is actually 77.
Christie, who is limping along at statistically zero for the Republican presidential nomination, said he would “fight Donald Trump anywhere he wants, in any arena he wants, whether it’s on a debate stage or in the Octagon.”
The former Governor of New Jersey also complained about Trump making fun of his size, admitting he had “struggled with [his] weight” for 30 years and saying Trump was “a child, an infant [to] make those kind of remarks” – then making jabs of his own at Trump’s physique.
While many of those challenging Trump for the Republican nomination are presenting themselves as MAGA alternatives, Christie has presented himself as explicitly anti-Trump. Bill Kristol, a fellow RINO, has even urged Christie to endorse Biden over Trump.
Piers Morgan: “If you and Trump got in the ring…If you got in the octagon, you and him, who’d win?”
Today News Africa reporter Simon Ateba has been told by the White House that he could be banned from the Press briefing room for questioning why he is routinely ignored by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
The White House served Ateba the “warning” following his latest complaint of being ignored by Jean-Pierre at the end of last month. The letter, which Ateba posted on his Twitter account, tells him that his behavior on the occasion was “unacceptable,” threatening:
“If you continue to impede briefings or events by shouting over your colleagues who have been called on for a question, even after you have been asked to stop by a White House employee, then your hard pass may be suspended or revoked.”
Ateba has been repeatedly ignored by the White House after asking difficult questions to the Biden administration, such as addressing Biden’s eight-country African travel ban in late 2021. Since then, Ateba claims he has been blacklisted, with his emails and remonstrances going unanswered and attempts to meet with the press secretary being declined. Ateba argues that he has taken to shouting his questions from the back of the room “as a last resort.”
He has even gone so far as to claim the refusal to allow him to ask questions is a result of discrimination. “I’m Black, I’m an immigrant and I’m the little guy,” Ateba states.
BREAKING: Following @washingtonpost hit piece meant to prevent me from renewing my hard pass, the @WhiteHouse and @PressSec office just sent me 'A WARNING LETTER." Here it is:

President Joe Biden issued an executive order late Thursday that orders ready 3,000 U.S. army reservists in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, which “provides rotational deployments of combat-credible forces to Europe” especially related to the 2014 Russia invasion of Crimea.
The operation has been designated a “contingency operation”, according to Army Lt. Gen. Douglas A. Sims II, Joint Staff director of operations.
“This new designation benefits troops and families with increases in authorities, entitlements and access to the reserve component forces and personnel,” Sims said.
“This [executive order] reaffirms the unwavering support and commitment to defend NATO‘s eastern flank in the wake of Russia’s illegal and unprovoked war on Ukraine,” Sims said.
The full order from President Biden can be read below:
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including sections 121 and 12304 of title 10, United States Code, I hereby determine that it is necessary to augment the active Armed Forces of the United States for the effective conduct of Operation Atlantic Resolve in and around the United States European Command’s area of responsibility. In furtherance of this operation, under the stated authority, I hereby authorize the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Homeland Security with respect to the Coast Guard when it is not operating as a service in the Navy, under their respective jurisdictions, to order to active duty any units, and any individual members not assigned to a unit organized to serve as a unit of the Selected Reserve, or any member in the Individual Ready Reserve mobilization category and designated as essential under regulations prescribed by the Secretary concerned, not to exceed 3,000 total members at any one time, of whom not more than 450 may be members of the Individual Ready Reserve, as they deem necessary, and to terminate the service of those units and members ordered to active duty.
This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

The committee for Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis’ $3,300-per-ticket Hamptons fundraiser in Southampton, New York, will feature donors such as Sergio Galvis and Howard Cox, who have ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the World Economic Forum (WEF) respectively, The National Pulse can reveal.
The event – which may represent somewhat of a “crisis” talk with donors – is set to take place on July 20th, 2023.
Howard Cox.
Venture capitalist Cox is a long-standing board member of the WEF’s Young Global Leaders Program, founded by chief globalist and fellow board member Klaus Schwab in 1993, with a view to training corporate-backed political leaders. The project’s alumni include Mark Zuckerberg, Leana Wen, Ibram X. Kendi, Pete Buttigieg, Jacinda Ardern, Dan Crenshaw, Alex Soros, and even French President Emmanuel Macron.
Cox, the brother of New York GOP Chairman Ed Cox, is a frequent and large donor to establishment GOP candidates, indeed including his own brother. Cox is also a senior trustee at the establishment Brookings Institution, and chaired John McCain’s New York campaign operation.
Sergio Galvis.
Corporate lawyer Galvis’s connections to the CCP are well-established. The 64-year-old led the state-owned firm, China Three Gorges, with its $1.39 billion acquisition of a Peruvian power plant. The move was designed explicitly to stymie U.S. influence in the Western hemisphere, with firm itself listed among the 31 Chinese companies that are “owned or controlled” by the Chinese military.
Galvis has also been involved in the CCP-owned petroleum giant Sinopec, working as a representative in their $385 million acquisition of another Latin American firm, OCP. Sinopec is the same firm linked closely with Hunter Biden, whose private equity firm invested $1.7 billion in 2015.
Galvis has previously donated to leading establishment figures including Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Lisa Murkowski, George W Bush, and even top Democrats Chuck Schumer and climate huckster John Kerry.
Ron DeSantis’s Wisconsin fundraiser earlier this week was hosted by a leading Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, and Paul Ryan donor, who twice served as chairman of Goldman Sachs. Donors to the Governor of Florida are yet to see a return for the millions they’ve provided, however. DeSantis is currently at an all-time low in delegate support across the country, with some supporters, including the Murdochs, contemplating going elsewhere.
