Veterans Slam Walz as ‘Military Impersonator,’ ‘Habitual Liar,’ ‘Coward.’

Veterans discussing their experiences with Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) in the National Guard on Monday called him a “habitual liar,” a “coward,” and a “deserter.” Speaking to Megyn Kelly, Tom Behrends, Paul Herr, Tom Schilling, and Rodney Tow focused much of their ire on Walz’s claims that he was unaware of his unit’s impending deployment to Iraq before taking early retirement.

The veterans accuse Walz of using his military service for personal gain, labeling him a “military impersonator.” They cite Walz’s consistent dishonesty, stating, “He lies about everything. He lies about stuff that doesn’t make sense.”

While Walz has claimed he did not know his unit would deploy to Iraq, the veterans say this is untrue, with one saying the Democrat personally told him the unit could “count on” him to deploy. They described Walz’s decision to retire—an option two of them could have taken, but did not—as “morally indefensible.”

One, who had to fill Walz‘s position after he left, said of the retirement, “Who the hell does that? It was just unbelievable that a [Command Sergeant Major] abandoned his troops, 500 soldiers.”

“I don’t know how he can live with himself after he did that to his soldiers,” another agreed.

STOLEN VALOR, STOLEN THUNDER.

Walz retired from the Minnesota National Guard as an E-8 Master Sergeant, not as a Command Sergeant Major—because he did not complete his qualifications for the more senior rank due to his abrupt departure.

The veterans expressed fear Walz’s embellishments—he also claims to have carried weapons “in war” during an anti-gun rights speech, despite never deploying to a combat zone—will detract from other veterans’ credibility.

“You’re taking a piece of their thunder, and you’re trying to capture it and put it in a bottle for yourself, and use that for your own benefit,” they said.

Speaking on the fact that former President Donald J. Trump is not a veteran, they said, “President Donald Trump decided to do battle in a different form, and at least, you know what, he’s been shot by the enemy.”

“The enemy closed in and took action against a former president of this country and tried to kill him, and he got wounded in action fighting for the rights and the constitution of this country.”

WATCH: Tim Walz Uses Dead Kids As a Shield for Stolen Valor Moment.

Vice President Kamala Harris‘s running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, is using children killed in school shootings to deflect from his false claims to have served “in war.” He made the comments while appearing alongside Harris for her first sit-down interview with a news outlet—CNN—since she supplanted Joe Biden as the Democrats’ presidential candidate.

“You said that you carried weapons in war, but you have never deployed actually in a war zone,” CNN’s Dana Bash said to the National Guard veteran. “A campaign official said that you misspoke. Did you?” she asked.

“Well, first of all, I’m incredibly proud I’ve done 24 years of wearing [the] uniform of this country, equally proud of my service in a public school classroom, whether it’s Congress or—or the governor [sic]. My record speaks for itself, but I think people are coming to get to know me. I—I speak like they do. I speak candidly,” Walz rambled, not answering the question.

Apparently hoping he would not be further pressed on his false claims if he raised the subject of dead children, he added: “I wear my emotions on my sleeves, and I speak especially passionately about—about our children being shot in schools and around—around guns. So I think people know me.”

WATCH:

‘GRAMMAR.’

Bash did press Walz, again asking him, “[T]he idea that you said that you were in war, did you misspeak, as the campaign has said?”

“Yeah… we were talking about, in this case, this was after a school shooting, the ideas of carrying these weapons of war. And my wife, the English teacher, told me my grammar’s not always correct,” Walz suggested, although his claim to have carried “weapons of war, in war” was clearly a false statement rather than a case of poor grammar.

Later in the interview, Walz claimed, “folks I’ve served with… they vouch for me.”

‘HE CHOSE ANOTHER PATH.’

Lieutenant Colonel John Kolb, a former commander of the battalion Walz served in, has publicly chastised him for lying about his rank and abandoning the unit shortly before its deployment to Iraq.

“[W]hen the demands of service and leadership at the highest level got real, he chose another path,” Lt. Col. Kolb said of Walz, adding that the Democrat’s false claims to be a retired command sergeant major are “an affront to the Noncommissioned Officer Corps.”

“I do not regret that Tim Walz retired early from the Minnesota Army National Guard, did not complete the Sergeants Major Academy, broke his enlistment contract or did not successfully complete any assignment as a Sergeant Major,” said Kolb, recalling that Walz “Unwittingly… got out of the way for better leadership.”

Walz claims he did not know his unit was going to deploy before he took early retirement, but press releases from his campaign at the time strongly suggest this is untrue.

Trump Flies to Arlington for Afghan Troop Memorial, Which Joe and Kamala SNUB!

Former President Donald J. Trump attended a memorial ceremony for the 13 American servicemen and women murdered during the Abbey Gate bombing amid the Biden-Harris government’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris skipped the event, as did former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush.

President Trump attended the ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, to mark the third anniversary of the Abbey Gate attack. By disrupting the timetable of former President Trump’s planned withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Biden-Harris government created a chaotic situation in which the Taliban overran Kabul while U.S. and Western personnel were still present. Hundreds were killed or injured when a suicide bomber, allegedly from the Islamic State-Khorasan Province (ISIS-K) group, targeted would-be evacuees and the U.S. troops overseeing them at Kabul airport’s Abbey Gate.

The Biden-Harris government also surrendered Bagram Air Base, which Trump intended to retain, and a huge number of U.S. ground vehicles, helicopters, and weapons, which Trump intended to evacuate. The Taliban paraded these spoils through the streets earlier this month.

Trump has criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for her role in the debacle, recalling that she was “the last person in the room with Biden when the two of them decided to pull the troops out of Afghanistan” and was “all for it.”

Biden-Harris Send ANOTHER $125 MILLION to Ukraine.

The Biden-Harris government will send approximately $125 million in new military assistance to Ukraine, according to U.S. officials. This move comes as Washington seeks a clearer understanding of Kiev’s recent escalation of the conflict with operations now being conducted within Russian territory.

The latest military aid package includes air defense missiles, munitions for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), Javelins, a variety of other anti-armor missiles, counter-drone and counter-electronic warfare systems, 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition, vehicles, and assorted equipment. Biden and Kamala Harris are providing the equipment through presidential drawdown authority. The aid is being supplied amid ongoing Ukrainian efforts to extend their surprising offensive into Russia.

U.S. taxpayers—through the actions of the Biden-Harris government– have likely spent over $200 billion on aid to Ukraine since Russia invaded the Eastern European country in late February 2022. Former President Donald J. Trump has promised to end the conflict swiftly should he retake the White House in November’s U.S. presidential election.

It is believed that the Democratic Party’s nominee, Kamala Harris, will continue Biden’s policies toward Ukraine, providing billions of dollars more in aid. However, Harris has not released detailed policy proposals for top-election issues, including Ukraine aid.

Ukrainian forces have reportedly secured approximately 100 square kilometers (62 square miles) of territory around Kursk. Concurrently, Russian troops are making advances in eastern Ukraine near Pokrovsk, a crucial logistic center. Should Pokrovsk fall, Ukraine‘s defenses would be significantly compromised, moving Russia closer to its goal of capturing the Donetsk region. Reports indicate Russian forces are now about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from the city.

The Biden-Harris government says it recognizes Ukraine‘s intention to create a border buffer zone, but further clarity is needed on how this fits into the overall war strategy.

WATCH: Houthi Terrorists Blow Up Greek-Flagged Oil Tanker In Move That Could Trigger NATO’s Article 5.

The Houthi terrorist group, which controls a large portion of Yemen, is claiming responsibility for destroying a Greek tanker ship carrying crude oil from Iraq to Greece. Video of the aftermath shows the ship exploding and burning as it sits adrift in the Red Sea. According to the European Union (EU), an EU naval mission was able to rescue the sailors on board.

Since the October 7 terrorist attacks by Hamas against Israel, Yemen’s Houthis have engaged in an extensive terror campaign against shipping in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. However, the attack on the Greek-flagged Sounion is one of the most brazen strikes yet. The fact that the ship is Greek-owned and said under a Greek flag raises some concerns that the attack could trigger an Article 5 declaration by NATO, as Greece has been a member of the alliance since 1952.

A spokesman for the Houthi terrorist group claims the Greek ship “belongs to a company that have ties with the Israeli enemy and violated the ban decision of entry to the ports of occupied Palestine.” Despite the terrorist group’s assertion, the oil tanker’s official manifest states it was bound from Iraq to Greece and carrying 150,000 tons of crude oil.

Following initial land-to-sea missile strikes on both domestic and military ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden region by the Houthis, the Biden-Harris government—in conjunction with the United Kingdom—has carried out sporadic air strikes against the group. However, the deterrence effort has thus far proved ineffective. The National Pulse reported in May that the Houthi terrorist group successfully downed a $30 million dollar drone and was able to capture the weapon, which appeared to be concerning in fair condition.

Religious Liberty? Ukrainian Parliament Passes Bill Banning Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The Ukrainian legislature has adopted a bill effectively banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), with lawmakers and others accusing the Church of maintaining ties with Russia. The bill is expected to be signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky in the coming weeks, with UOC clergy given around nine months to prove to the state that they have severed their ties with the Russian Orthodox Church.

The ban on religious activities of any religious group connected to or sympathetic toward Russia was passed with 256 votes for the bill at its final reading, compared to just 29 lawmakers voting against it.

The law was initially proposed last year, with lawmakers such as Iryna Herashchenko of the European Solidarity party calling the Church a “sect” of the Russian security services.

Despite the crackdown on the Church, which has included the arrests of priests and bishops, who in some cases have been stripped of their Ukrainian citizenships, and the mass confiscation of churches and monasteries, thousands of priests, monks, and nuns, and millions of Ukrainians still belong to it. Its roots in the country are deep, with the Metropolitanate of Kiev first established in 988 A.D.

After Russia’s 2022 invasion, the UOC announced a split with the Moscow Patriarchate. It had previously resisted doing so for theological reasons, prompting the creation of the alternative Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), which is backed by the Ukrainian government and has been handed much of the property confiscated from the UOC.

The OCU is recognized by the Ecumenical Patriarch in Constantinople and the Orthodox churches in Greece, Cyprus, and Alexandria. However, the Orthodox churches in Russia, Serbia, Antioch, Romania, and Poland, representing the vast majority of Orthodox Christians, consider the government-backed church uncanonical and schismatic.

Germany Halts Military Aid to Ukraine After Nord Stream Sabotage Revelations.

Germany’s government has halted new military aid to Ukraine, supposedly prompted by a need to reduce spending. However, the move comes after new revelations that Ukraine may have been behind the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage.

Germany has issued an arrest warrant against a Ukrainian national accused of sabotaging the Nord Stream pipeline, which supplied Germany with Russian natural gas. The suspect, a diver who was formerly part of the Ukrainian armed forces, is said to have been part of a small team, including Ukrainian special forces, that carried out the pipeline sabotage, which Western leaders previously blamed on Russia.

The aid moratorium affects only new requests for funding, leaving previously approved aid unaffected. Finance Minister Christian Lindner informed the German defense ministry on August 5 that future aid will come from frozen Russian assets, not Germany’s federal budget.

The G7 nations agreed in June to use approximately $300 billion of immobilized Russian assets to secure a $50 billion loan for Ukraine. However, the details of the plan are still under negotiation and may take months to finalize.

The dispute over Ukraine aid has exacerbated tensions within Germany’s ruling coalition, which has already been fraught with disagreements over various issues, including the budget and welfare policies.

Green leader and Economy Minister Robert Habeck, who plans to run for Chancellor in the 2025 election, highlighted the coalition’s struggles to find common ground, saying, “The ideas are falling apart.”

ICYMI: Taliban Parades U.S. Equipment Abandoned by Biden-Harris.

The Taliban is parading the American military hardware abandoned to them by the Biden-Harris government. The parade included U.S. military vehicles, helicopters, and weapons and was held at Bagram airbase, which former President Donald J. Trump had planned to keep in American hands following an orderly withdrawal from the country.

According to a report from the Department of Defense Inspector General, the Biden-Harris government left behind equipment valued at $7.12 billion in its botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.

The equipment inventory left behind includes nearly $1 billion worth of aircraft, over 40,000 military vehicles, more than 300,000 weapons, and tens of millions of dollars worth of ammunition. Almost all the communications equipment provided to Western-backed Afghan forces and advanced electronics are also under Taliban control.

The U.S. withdrawal has been criticized for its chaotic execution and impact on America’s reputation. Analysts argue the Biden-Harris regime’s perceived weakness may have influenced Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine six months later.

During the Afghanistan withdrawal, a terrorist attack in Kabul killed 13 U.S. service members.

Former President Donald J. Trump has described the fiasco as a humiliation for America, paving the way for not just the Ukraine war but the later Hamas terror raids on Israel. He argues these global crises would not have arisen under a reelected Trump administration.

TONE SHIFT: Russian State Media Says ‘Ukraine Simply Should Not Exist.’

Russian state media is undergoing a marked tone shift following the Ukrainian invasion of its Kursk region last week, with RIA Novosti columnist Victoria Nikiforova arguing a negotiated settlement with President Volodymyr Zelensky is off the table and that all Ukraine must be taken over.

“There should be no ‘Ukraine’, this entire space should be de-Nazified, cleansed and rendered harmless. Whatever efforts and sacrifices are required of us, we are ready for them,” she writes for the state-owned news agency, invoking the 17th-century wars between the Tsardom of Russia and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, when the Russians “gnawed these lands from Poland for decades, broke off bit by bit, retreated, concluded armistices and again steadily, inexorably moved forward until Kiev became Russian.”

Ukraine’s offensive in Kursk has “changed everything,” Nikiforova states, saying polls showing “the Russian population was in favor of a peaceful resolution” are now out of date.

Kursk was the scene of one of the last decisive battles between Axis and Soviet forces in 1943. Nikiforova invokes the memory of the Second World War in her article, calling Zelensky “the Jewish Nazi” and warning the “enemy is on our soil for the first time since the Great Patriotic War,” with “German infantry fighting vehicles… driving around the Kursk region.”

A LONG WAR.

Ukrainian forces, using British tanks and American Bradley and Stryker combat vehicles, among other NATO equipment, have seized about as much Russian territory in the surprise offensive as the Russians have seized Ukrainian territory all year, embarrassing and infuriating the Kremlin.

It is a high-stakes gamble for Zelensky, who has been steadily losing territory to the Russians all year. In May, a new front was opened against him near Kharkov, Ukraine’s second-largest city. A heavy defeat following initial gains would leave the Ukrainians desperately short of reserves in sectors where Russian forces continue to grind forward.

“We are fighting for our independence and are ready to fight for it for years and decades, until we reach Lvov—and, if necessary, even further,” Nikiforova writes, referring to the largest city in western Ukraine, which the Ukrainians call Lviv, and possibly Poland and other NATO members to its west.

“In the end, the answer to the question ‘who does Russia border?’ is: ‘Russia borders whoever it wants,'” she insists.

Germany Blames Ukrainians for Pipeline Sabotage, Issues Arrest Warrant.

Germany has issued its first arrest warrant in connection to the 2022 sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, aiming at a Ukrainian national who previously worked for the Ukrainian military. The European Arrest Warrant (EAW) targets a Volodymyr S., said to have been living in Poland. However, Polish prosecutors say he has already left the country.

German intelligence and their European counterparts in the Netherlands and elsewhere were able to identify Volodymyr S., a diving instructor, through witness testimony and photographs.

Previous reports claimed Nord Stream was sabotaged by Ukrainian special forces who rented a yacht that sailed from Germany to Denmark, Sweden, Poland, and then back to Germany around the same time as the sabotage. Ukrainian special forces commandos are believed to have dived down to the pipeline and attached explosives at a depth of around 260 feet. Some explosive residue was found on board the yacht.

Dutch intelligence is said to have been the first to warn that Ukraine was behind the attack, which many Western leaders initially blamed on Russia—despite the lack of any obvious motive for the Russians to destroy lucrative pipelines bypassing Ukraine and going directly to their customers in the European Union.

The Dutch claimed Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky did not give the order to destroy the pipeline, with the operation allegedly headed by the now-former head of the armed forces, Valery Zaluzhnyi.

Poland’s foreign minister, Radoslaw Sikorski, has previously suggested that U.S. President Joe Biden knew about the attack plan against NATO infrastructure before it was carried out but allowed it to take place.

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) allegedly knew about the attack as much as six months in advance.
