Salty Obama Tells Trump: ‘No One in New York Likes You.’

Barack Obama claims Donald Trump is unpopular and regarded as unserious in his native New York, where he established much of his business empire. Obama, 62, frequently stumbled over his words in his appearance on an episode of the ‘Smartless’ podcast, recorded in March, alongside Joe Biden and Bill Clinton.

“Look, uh, you watch Trump’s campaign, you, you watch his career, if, if, if you know anybody,” Obama said before Biden interjected: “He’s a huckster.”

“He, he, he comes, he comes from New York,” Obama continued, talking over his former vice president. “There’s nobody in New York who does business with him, or, or, or, or, or lend him money [sic]. He’s not considered a serious guy here,” the Democrat claimed.

“So, so, but, so, so I wasn’t, I was surprised he was elected, but I, I wasn’t surprised in terms of his behavior,” he added.

Neither Obama nor Biden built successful businesses before entering politics, with both having been attorneys.

UNPOPULAR?

Contrary to Obama’s claims, Trump just received the endorsement of the Steamfitters Local 638 labor union in New York, representing roughly 10,000 active and retired members.

Earlier this month, the Bodega and Small Business Group (BSBG), representing thousands of bodegas in New York City, also endorsed Trump. They particularly appreciated the former president’s strong support for small businesses in the face of endemic criminality, in contrast with Democrat politicians.

Harlem residents chanted “Four more years!” when Trump visited Hamilton Heights bodega worker Jose Alba in person. Alba had been charged for defending himself against an armed criminal.

Traditionally a Democrat stronghold, Trump has vowed to make a major play for his home state in November. Many New Yorkers, including New York City Mayor Eric Adams, are increasingly dissatisfied with the impact of the border crisis on the Empire State. Most blame Joe Biden for the situation.

Trump: ‘I’d Consider Pardon for EVERY J6 Prisoner.’

Former President Donald J. Trump says he would consider a pardon for each of the January 6 defendants either currently imprisoned or being prosecuted by the Biden government. The former President made the commitment during a recent interview, lamenting what he sees as a ‘two-tier justice system.’

“[W]hen I look at Portland, when I look at Minneapolis, where they took over police precincts and everything else, and went after federal buildings, when I look at other situations that were violent, and where people were killed, nothing happened to them,” Trump said during an interview with TIME Magazine. He continued: “Nothing happened to them. I think it’s a two-tier system of justice. I think it’s a very, very sad thing.”

The former Republican President went on to note that the only individual who died as a direct result of the January 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol building was protestor Ashli Babbitt. Last November, the Black Lives Matter activist — John Sullivan, a.k.a Jayden X— who filmed Babbitt’s death inside the Capitol, was convicted for his role in inciting protestors to riot. The National Pulse previously reported in January that Babbitt’s family has filed a $30 million wrongful death lawsuit against Capitol Police Officer Lt. Michael Byrd.

Representative Clay Higgins (R-LA) recently claimed that his investigation into the events leading up to the January 6 riots suggests federal law enforcement may have played a more significant role in instigating the violence than previously stated. The Louisiana Republican said he’d uncovered evidence that federal agents were active in online chat groups with U.S. military veterans prior to their involvement in the protest that day.

Currently, the U.S. Supreme Court is weighing whether Biden’s Department of Justice has abused a financial crimes statute to enhance the felony ‘obstruction‘ charges against the rioters.

BlueAnon’s Latest Conspiracy: A Trump Body Double!

A social media post by boxer Ryan Garcia has sparked a storm of conspiracy theories among far-left, online ‘BlueAnon’ activists who claim former President Donald Trump is using a body double. The former President and Garcia appear exceptionally youthful in the photo, drawing attention from internet conspiracy enthusiasts.

While some suggested Trump has had cosmetic surgery, including Botox, other left-wing internet users went more far-a-field with why the former President appeared so different. A video of Dick Gregory, a comedian and social critic, began circulating on social media featuring him claiming there are two Donald Trumps. The clip of Gregory appears to be from 2016, during the election cycle, and just a year before the comedian’s death.

“First, there’s two Trumps,” Gregory claims — appearing erratic and sometimes impaired in the video. He continues, “The one in the red tie is real. The one in the blue tie is not. The one you saw last night after the victory was the blue tie.”

The conspiracy theory of “Two Trumps” quickly took hold among social media’s BlueAnon activists — a nickname for far-left conspiracy theorists. Despite the Gregory video and their instance that the man in the Garcia photo is not the real Donald Trump, there is a more than reasonable explanation for the differing appearance.

Snapchat and X (formerly Twitter), the two social media mediums used by Garcia to document his visit with Trump and friends at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills hotel, make filters and other touch-up tools available to their users. In all likelihood, Garcia used an app like Facetune to touch up the photo before posting it and subsequently sparking the conspiracy theory among leftists.

West Wing Creator Aaron Sorkin Is Working on a Jan 6 Movie.

Aaron Sorkin — creator of liberal television and film mainstays, The West Wing, The Newsroom, and The Social Network — is claiming Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook bear responsibility for the January 6 Capitol riots. During a recent appearance on “The Town with Matthew Belloni” podcast, Sorkin explained how he believes Facebook’s algorithm promotes increasingly extreme content, ultimately radicalizing its more politically engaged users.

“Facebook has been, among other things, tuning its algorithm to promote the most divisive material possible,” Sorkin said. He added: “Because that is what will increase engagement and because that is what will get you to, what they call inside the hallways of Facebook, the infinite scroll.”

Sorkin’s comments echo a similar concern raised by Representative Clay Higgins (R-LA). The National Pulse previously reported that Higgins, through his own investigation, uncovered evidence that federal law enforcement infiltrated online social networks — including Facebook — where American veterans groups would communicate.

Higgins said it was through interactions with veterans in these groups that the FBI appears to have created agents provocateurs. According to the Louisiana Republican: “The original seeds of riotous or illegal or occupation-type behavior amongst these groups were planted by the FBI agents embedded in those groups.”

The comments by Sorkin may also appear intended to stoke interest in his new film project — an untitled movie about the January 6 Capitol riots. He would not confirm whether the project will be a direct sequel to his Oscar-winning screenplay for the 2010 film The Social Network.

‘100% MAGA!’ – Here’s Who Is Likely to Replace Mitt Romney as Utah Senator.

The Utah Republican Party has nominated Trent Staggs to replace Mitt Romney in the U.S. Senate. The GOP endorsement came shortly after Staggs earned the support of former President Donald Trump and after Romney, 76, said he would not seek another term in office.

“Trent Staggs is 100% MAGA, and is running to fill The Mitt Romney, a Total Loser, Seat as the next Senator from the Great State of Utah,” Trump wrote Saturday on Truth Social. “A Highly Successful Entrepreneur, who has served brilliantly as Mayor of Riverton for the past six years, Trent knows how to Create Jobs, Stop Inflation, Grow the Economy, and Secure the Border.”

“Let’s replace Joe Biden’s favorite Republican with Donald Trump’s favorite Republican in Utah,” Staggs said Saturday following his nomination, in reference to Romney’s moderate stances and outspoken opposition to Trump.

Staggs, currently serving as the mayor of Riverton, a city just south of Salt Lake City, is still required to face off against other prominent GOP figures in the June 25 primary. These include U.S. Representative John Curtis and previous Utah House Speaker Brad Wilson.

While Staggs has managed to gain substantial support from top Republican figures and delegates, past election cycles have demonstrated that party nominations don’t always dictate Utah citizens’ voting choices.

Staggs, Curtis, and Wilson present a diversified GOP ticket. Curtis, known for his moderate approach, could appeal to a broader spectrum of voters and supporters of the outgoing Romney, while Wilson has achieved a reputation as a hardline Trump supporter.

The outcome of the June GOP primary is significant for Utah’s political landscape, especially with the departure of Romney — a central figure in the moderate Republican community. The primary will represent a test of the strength of Trump’s endorsement in a state that has historically been somewhat cautious about embracing his policy agenda.

Biden Confused Capitol Riots With D-Day Invasion During Fundraiser With Actor Michael Douglas.

Joe Biden could not recall the date of the 2021 riots at the Capitol building while speaking at a fundraiser on Thursday night. Appearing at the Hollywood residence of celebrity acting couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, the 81-year-old Biden referred to the January 6 riots as having occurred on June 6 — appearing to confuse the riots with the Normandy invasion in 1944.

“We’ll certainly never forget the dark days of June 6, January 6th, excuse me,” Biden told the high-dollar donor crowd in California in an attempt to criticize former President Donald Trump. At 81 years old, Biden is the oldest American to have ever served as President of the United States.

Over the past several months, Biden‘s cognitive abilities and memory recollection appear to have declined significantly. The National Pulse has previously reported on several instances where the incumbent Democrat has been unable to remember what century it currently is and falsely claimed to have played roles in both significant and insignificant past events.

Most recently, Biden left even some of his most ardent defenders bewildered after mentioning the death of his uncle Ambrose Finnigan on the campaign trail — insisting it could have come at the hands of cannibals. Biden, again, got basic facts surrounding his uncle’s military service and disappearance in an air crash incorrect. And while there is a remote possibility Finnigan could have been killed — and even eaten — by inhabitants of Papua New Guinea, it remains unclear why Biden felt the need to bring it up on the camping trail.

Gaza Protests Have Seen Over 500 Arrests So Far.

Police have arrested more than 500 pro-Hamas activists at dozens of college campuses across the United States. Demonstrations against Israel and in support of the Hamas terrorist group have roiled American universities over the past two weeks, often resulting in violent clashes between protestors and law enforcement.

The protests pose a major problem for the Biden government as the 81-year-old Democrat incumbent struggles in 2024 presidential election polls against his opponent, former President Donald Trump. Biden has already faced concerning protest votes in the Michigan, Minnesota, and Washington Democratic presidential primaries — with progressive and Muslim voters casting their ballots for the “uncommitted” line. Michigan, an especially crucial swing state in the November election, has a large Arab-American and Muslim population that has been highly critical of Biden’s stance on Israel’s war against Hamas.

Campus protestors are demanding the Biden government end what they perceive as support for the Jewish state. Additionally, some factions of the protestors are demanding the respective academic institutions divest themselves from business relationships with Israel. Concerningly, a subset of the demonstrations are calling for the removal of Jewish students from campus and even violence against those they deem to be “Zionists.”

Columbia University witnessed more than 100 arrests last week while school authorities attempted to dismantle a protester encampment. Negotiations to remove the tents continue, with the university denying rumors of a New York Police Department (NYPD) presence on campus. The University of Southern California has also been a site of unrest, with 93 people taken into custody for trespassing; one individual was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Unspecified safety concerns led to the cancellation of the university’s commencement ceremony.

Bannon: Farage Can Take Over Tories Like MAGA Runs GOP.

War Room host and former White House chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon has predicted Brexit leader Nigel Farage will return to frontline politics and become Prime Minister of the United Kingdom after the governing Conservative Party loses the next British general election to Labour.

“I’ve been a huge supporter of Nigel’s to get back in this thing in some official capacity. I think Nigel Farage will be Prime Minister after Sir Keir [Starmer],” Bannon said, referring to the Labour leader. Labour is on course for a landslide victory in the next election.

“My advice to [Farage] is after the slaughter [the Conservatives] are going to have at the polls [due to] not really standing for anything, that’s time for Nigel,” Bannon continued. However, he suggested Farage should not seek high office via the Reform Party, his current affiliation, but instead take over the Conservatives.

‘GRASSROOTS UPWARDS.’

“I was a big advocate of not starting a third party after the 2020 election was stolen,” Bannon explained. He highlighted the MAGA movement’s “precinct strategy” of taking over the Republican Party from the grassroots upwards.

“In the last four months, we essentially removed Mitch McConnell as the minority leader in the Senate,” said Bannon. We took out the Republican Party senior apparatus, all of them gone,” he said, referring to what National Pulse editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam called the “McLeadership.”

“And we fired a sitting Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, for the first time in the history of the Republic, and right now, we have a second Speaker in our gunsights,” he added, referring to Speaker Mike Johnson. Johnson faces criticism for allowing aid for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan to go through without meaningful border security measures. He also faces criticism for drawing fire away from Joe Biden over Gaza.

“I would tell our brothers and sisters in the United Kingdom, you can do this at the grassroots level,” Bannon stressed. “Nigel Farage is a populist; Nigel Farage is a nationalist. You need to put Great Britain first, the United Kingdom first, and you need, particularly, to put your citizens first,” he said.

Biden Capital Gains Tax Increase

Biden’s Capital Gains Tax More Than DOUBLE That of Communist China.

Joe Biden‘s 2025 budget proposal could raise the federal capital gains tax to as high as 44.6 percent for many Americans. When combined with state-level capital gains taxes, the rate could exceed 50 percent in some of America’s most populous states. Two provisions in the budget are responsible for the increase: one that raises the tax rate across the board and another that bumps the rate further on high-income earners.

A footnote in the Biden budget details the rate hike: “A separate proposal would first raise the top ordinary rate to 39.6 percent … An additional proposal would increase the net investment income tax rate by 1.2 percentage points above $400,000.” The footnote continues: “Together, the proposals would increase the top marginal rate on long-term capital gains and qualified dividends to 44.6 percent.”

Americans for Tax Reform (ATR)’s analysis of Biden’s budget further notes that “California will face a combined federal-state rate of 59 [percent], New Jersey 55.3 [percent], Oregon at 54.5 [percent], Minnesota at 54.4 [percent], and New York state at 53.4 [percent].” According to the tax group, if Biden‘s budget were enacted, the effective capital gains rate would be more than double that of Communist China.

The Biden capital gains plan would result in the highest rate ever enacted in the United States, exceeding the 40 percent rate under President Jimmy Carter. Additionally, ATR notes the budget proposal would also remove “stepped-up basis” when a parent dies, effectively enacting a second Death Tax. This would result in a mandatory capital gains tax realized at death. When Congress attempted to end the “stepped-up basis” in 1976, they had to reverse the decision before the law took effect as it was completely unworkable.

Carter would go on to lose the 1980 presidential election by a landslide.

WATCH: Kassam Explains How Mike Johnson’s Israel-Gaza Intervention ‘Snatches Defeat From the Jaws of Victory.’

Raheem Kassam, editor-in-chief of The National Pulse, says Speaker Mike Johnson is doing the donor class’s bidding by drawing fire away from Joe Biden amid the ongoing crisis on college campuses. Speaking to Steve Bannon on War Room, Kassam argued special interests were a more plausible explanation than mere stupidity.

“The Democrat Party is tearing itself in half over this issue. You simply do not interfere and intervene when your enemy is making a mistake. That was Napoleon’s comment at Waterloo; it remains true to this day,” Kassam explained.

“What he’s doing right now is purely for his donors,” Kassam argued.

“Kevin McCarthy had a thing where he was pledging not to spend money against his own political opponents in his own party. Staying out of the primaries, all of that stuff,” he continued.

“Mike Johnson is not beholden to that pledge, and I bet you somebody has told him, ‘Hey, all these people going after you? Marjorie Taylor Greene, all this stuff? We’ll put in money for their opponents if you go up there and do our bidding on Columbia college campus.'”

If this is untrue, Kassam added, “Let’s hear him deny it.”

SHOOTING TRUMP IN THE FOOT.

Speaking on the campus crisis, Kassam reminded the audience it is “a situation where the White House, remember, has been sending emissaries into Arab and Muslim neighborhoods in the United States, and they are getting shunned and shoved out of these neighborhoods, creating this political nightmare, disaster for Joe Biden and his foreign policy apparatus.”

Currently, the ire of students and faculty is aimed almost exclusively at Biden. However, Johnson inserting himself into the issue only gives the impression that “the GOP, and by extension, in their minds… Trump must have something to do with this, too.”

“He’s taking an issue where the Democrats have been shooting themselves in the foot repeatedly, and he is now using that weapon to shoot the rest of us in the foot,” Kassam stressed. He said “abject, abject foolishness” could explain Johnson’s behavior. However, he does not buy this: “I don’t believe he’s that stupid. I think he’s been put up to this.”

The most likely culprits, he suggested, were Never Trump and Uniparty figures in the GOP who do not want a second Trump administration.

Additionally, Kassam contrasted Johnson’s behavior with Trump’s politically astute decision to drive a wedge between Biden and voters who are both pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian, emphasizing Biden hates them both.
