Swiss-French Writer Imprisoned After Calling a Woman A ‘Fat Lesbian.’

A French-Swiss writer has been sentenced to 60 days imprisonment in Switzerland after he referred to a left-wing writer and commentator as a “fat lesbian,” “queer activist,” and “unhinged.”

Alain Bonnet, who writes under the nom de plume “Alain Soral,” was convicted by a court in the city of Lausanne of incitement to hatred, discrimination, and defamation on Monday afternoon. He was also ordered to pay legal costs as well as a hefty fine.

Bonnet, 65, was initially fined by a lower court for defamation, but the Vaud Public Prosecution’s Office believed that should to face prosecution for an alleged “incitement to hatred” and appealed the first-instance decision. As of 2020, Swiss law considers any discrimination based on sexual orientation to be a punishable offense.

Soral’s lawyers, Pascal Junod, argued after the verdict that the writer had been convicted of a “crime of opinion” and “sinned against the dogmas of single thought.” Junod added that Soral will file an appeal to the Swiss federal court and, if necessary, the European Court of Human Rights.

U.S. Adds Just 89k Jobs In September, Missing 150,000 Target.

U.S. private sector payroll increased by just 89,000 jobs in September, well below the 150,000 expected according to the ADP National Employment Report. The lackluster report signals the weakest U.S. labor market since January of 2021. Additionally, wage growth slowed to 5.9 percent – the 12th consecutive month of decline.

The lower-than-expected job numbers come as bad news for President Joe Biden as he ramps up his 2024 re-election campaign. With weakening in the labor market likely to continue as a result of the Federal Reserve’s interest rate hikes, the Biden campaign’s decision to lean into ‘Bidenomics‘ may backfire. Employment sectors that make up core parts of the Democrat Party’s base – including trade, transportation, utilities, and manufacturing – all saw significant losses according to the report. Growth in service sector made up a bulk of the job gains.

ADP’s employment report has a mixed history of successfully forecasting job gains as reported by the U.S. government’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The BLS will release their official non-farm payroll numbers for September this Friday. Economists expect the government agency to report 170,000 were added last month, down from 187,000 in August.

Dems in Panic As Party Fails To Hit Its Own Diversity Targets.

Democrat officials are increasingly concerned the party is unable to meet its own stringent diversity standards and targets, supposedly running the risk of next summer’s convention delegates being “too white” when the party nominee for the 2024 presidential election is chosen.

The Democrat National Committee (DNC) sets its diversity targets by accounting for eligible voters from almost all identities other than white people. Their targets include black Americans, Latinos, Asians, Pacific Islanders, Native Americans, LGBT people, young voters, and those with disabilities. The committee then calculates what the right amount should be from each group, with the figure varying from state to state.

The party often sets targets at far higher rates than what is proportionate to the population, such as in California, where the diversity target for black voters is 12 percent despite black Americans comprising just six and a half percent of the Golden State’s inhabitants.

“I keep looking at these diversity goals in big states like New York, like California. And, for some reason, whether it’s the African American community, Black community, the LGBTQ+ community, or Hispanic community, [the] numbers continue to decrease,” stated Democrat strategist Donna Brazile at a recent committee meeting in Washington D.C.

Former Hillary Clinton campaign staffer Maria Cardona expressed similar concern, explaining, “this number seems to be going in the wrong direction here.”

Officials fear that the lack of diversity reflects the collapse in support among minority groups for Joe Biden, with many getting behind former President Donald Trump.

Indeed, President Biden has witnessed a near 20-point drop in support from the black community and Latinos, whereas Trump has seen his support among black voters jump from eight to 20 percent since 2020.

WATCH: DeSantis Backer Chip Roy Tells MAGA ‘F***ers’ to ‘Kiss My A**’ During Meltdown Comparing Himself to D-Day Soldier.

Texas Congressman and Ron DeSantis surrogate Chip Roy had a full-blown meltdown at the “MAGA camp” after Kevin McCarthy’s ouster as Speaker of the House of Representatives by Matt Gaetz, comparing himself to a soldier on D-Day and urging the Florida Governor to “restore order”.

“Some of our brothers and sisters, particularly in the, uh, you know, MAGA camp, I think, particularly enjoy the circular firing squad,” he said of McCarthy’s removal for failing to honor his commitments to America First conservatives on spending, border security, the Ukraine war, and impeaching Joe Biden.

“You want to come at me and call me a RINO? You can kiss my ass,” he seethed to Steve Deace, a fellow DeSantis booster, who recently said America’s Founding Fathers are “in Hell for all of eternity” because they did not “repent of owning slaves”.

“I have laid it all on the line, I’ve not seen my family for two days in the last 30 days. You go around talking your big game and thumping your chests on Twitter? Yeah, come to my office and come have a debate, mother!”

“I’m not gonna give up, I’m not gonna go to a nunnery, because God damn it there are people who are buried over in Normandy who deserve us to stand up for what they fought for,” Roy railed, adding that “all of you fuckers out there who are out there saying what you’re saying out on social media, you stick it! I’m going to go down to the floor and do my job, and I’m going to stand up for the people who fought for this country.”

“What happened to a country where we can’t even have order? You want to know what Ron DeSantis should be talking about, is being the Governor who can restore order as President of the United States,” he added.

Deace, in the clip below, also admits to being “paid to care,” about politics.

Kev-OUT! Gaetz Ousts McCarthy From Speakership.

Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) successfully ousted Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as Speaker of the House. The motion to vacate by Gaetz comes in response to the House passing a temporary government funding measure – without the spending cuts or border funding pushed for by conservative members – after McCarthy allowed a vote on the floor. In addition, Gaetz has accused McCarthy of having cut a secret side deal on Ukraine funding with President Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats.

Following the vote the designated Speaker pro tempore moved to adjourn the House. Republicans will now caucus and begin the process of determining who they will nominate to be serve as the new Speaker. House rules do not prohibit McCarthy from being renominated for the Speakership. Republican Reps. Ken Buck, Byron Donalds, Tom Emmer, Steve Scalise, Jim Jordan, Mike Johnson, and Jodey Arrington have all been floated as potential candidates for Speaker. In theory the Speaker does not have to be a Member of Congress, leading a few House conservatives to pitch the idea of naming former Donald Trump as Speaker.

After Republicans retook the majority in the House of Representatives following the 2022 mid-term elections, it took 15 rounds of voting for McCarthy to successfully win the Speakership. The California Republican was only able to secure a majority of votes after making several critical concessions to House conservatives. House leadership’s violations of those concessions is what partially fueled the vote for McCarthy’s ouster.

TEFLON DON? DeSantis-Linked Anti-Trump PAC Admits Attack Ads Have Failed.

‘Win It Back PAC’ – directly linked to the RINO Republican-led Club for Growth – has been forced into a humiliating admission that its multi-million dollar summer campaign to undermine former President Donald Trump has been a complete failure, with some commercials even backfiring and leading to more support for the 45th President.

The group – which favors Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – announced the multi-million dollar ad spend in July, and has blown through a whopping $6m+ in donor cash since. A new memo – embedded in the Editor’s Notes below – reveals:

– The group produced over 40 ads tested in focus groups;

– All attempts to undermine [Trump’s] conservative credentials were ineffective;

– Ant-Trump ads backfired or produced no impact on ballot support or favorability;

The group tried to save face by claiming some ads did shift some people in Iowa away from Trump, though the methodology of their claims is questionable: the group used non-ad markets as a “control group” while using more left-leaning counties for their ads.

The group also used WPA Intelligence for its polling, a firm run by DeSantis-backer Chris Wilson, who was fired and sued by his former employer theft and fraud. DeSantis’s wife Casey (aka Jill) has previously done PR for the Club for Growth.

Matt Gaetz Filed a Motion to Vacate Against Speaker McCarthy — Now What?

Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) introduced a ‘motion to vacate‘ on the House of Representatives floor Monday night in an effort to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) from his leadership post. The full House is expected to decide the fate of McCarthy’s Speakership on Tuesday.

The long awaited move by Gaetz comes in response to the House passing a temporary government funding measure – without the spending cuts or border funding pushed for by conservative members – after McCarthy allowed a vote on the floor. In addition, Gaetz has accused McCarthy of having cut a secret side deal on Ukraine funding with President Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats.

A ‘motion to vacate’ is considered part of a privileged resolution, meaning it takes precedence over ordinary House legislative business. House leadership can only delay the vote by 48 hours after the resolution is introduced and the motion is made. There are, however, a few tools McCarthy and his supporters have that could block Gaetz’s resolution. Motions to either table the resolution or refer it to committee are considered to be ‘in order’, and if either were to be used and successful it could mean an anti-climatic end for Gaetz’s attempt to install a new Speaker.

To successfully remove McCarthy as Speaker, Rep. Gaetz will need to secure a majority of members present and voting – 218 barring absences. Republicans currently hold the majority with 221 seats to the Democrats’ 212. If Democrats vote to block any motions by McCarthy and his allies, and vote as a whole to remove the Speaker, then only 5 additional Republicans plus Gaetz would be needed to reach the majority. House Democrats, however, have been been non-commital on how they plan to vote.  If Gaetz’s resolution is adopted, the Speakership would be considered vacant and the House would immediately move to the business of electing a new Speaker.

Removing the Speaker of the House, however, is almost always an uphill battle. No Speaker has ever been removed by the manner being used by Rep. Gaetz. In 1910, Republican Speaker of the House Joseph Cannon, whose opponents on both sides of the aisle called a ‘tyrant’, made a ‘motion to vacate’ against himself – calling the bluff of his critics. The motion failed overwhelmingly, and Cannon remained Speaker. Rumors of the introduction of a ‘motion to vacate’ may have played a role in the resignation of Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) from the House in October of 2015.

DeSantis Influencers Say They’ll Write-In Pro-Abortion, Anti-Gun RFK If Trump Wins Primary.

A number of Ron DeSantis supporters have taken to social media to announce they will vote for Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. before they unify behind Donald Trump, despite the DeSantis camp pitching the Florida Governor as a facsimile of Trump with less “baggage” and more “effective” administration.

“Since I have been reliably told for months by Trump supporters that they would write him in even if DeSantis or anyone else won the GOP primary, it’s good to have permission to support RFK in the general if DeSantis doesn’t win the GOP primary,” wrote DeSantis booster Scott Morefield, a blogger for the Townhall.com website. Townhall is owned by the Salem Media Group, which also owns the pro-DeSantis RedState, Twitchy, and other legacy “Conservative Inc” blog sites.

Other DeSantis supporters were quick to agree with Morefield, raising questions as to whether or not they are, in fact, Republican voters at all. Many pro-DeSantis activists on social media are anonymous, newly-created accounts.

“You nailed it Scott. These are the new rules,” said one.

“As long as Trump is not supporting the primary winner, neither am I if it’s him,” seethed another.

“They’re both Liberals, so I might as well go for a honest liberal who can’t be easily corrupted,” concurred a third.

Others, however, weren’t so keen on the new tactic of embracing the pro-abortion, anti-Second Amendment RFK Jr, with user John Ament replying, “We all knew you were a liberal.”

RJK Jr. has won some admirers on the right for his opposition to the medical establishment – including DeSantis himself – he is a fundamentally left-wing politician who supports greater gun control, and shared an article in favor of repealing the Second Amendment altogether. RFK Jr. has stated he would not support abortion restrictions after three months because it is “always the woman’s right to choose” whether to kill her unborn baby.

RFK Jr. is also on record as saying he believes he would take more votes from Trump than Biden as a third-party candidate.

Newt Gingrich Ratioed for Defending McCarthy, RINOs Against Matt Gaetz.

Former Speaker and thrice-married adulterer Newt Gingrich has been ratioed on X (formerly Twitter) for attacking America First conservative Matt Gaetz as a “destructive, irresponsible anti-Republican” and suggesting he should be expelled from the House Republican Conference.

Gingrich, 80, wrote that trying to expel the Florida Congressman from the House of Representatives altogether “may be a step too far” – if only because such a move would require a two-thirds majority in the House – but added that “expelling him from the House Republican Conference and eliminating all his committee assignments and all resources other than those an individual member is entitled to would be a rational response to his suicidal efforts to cripple the House GOP.”

Conservatives soon leaped to the defense of Gaetz, who has been challenging Speaker Kevin McCarthy for refusing to pursue an impeachment of Joe Biden in a meaningful way while failing to reduce aid for Ukraine or increase border security.

“Mr. Gingrich, The America First Patriots see this a lot differently. We are tired of seeing our hard earned money going to countries that do not deserve one red penny while we have homeless vets and people living on our streets,” said one X user.

“Memo to Gingrich: Maybe if you and your old guard cronies hadn’t set the precedent for failed promises, the America First Patriots wouldn’t feel so desperate,” said another.

“McCarthy LIED, he broke the deal, he needs to go, NOT Gaetz,” added a third.

Donald Trump is a strong supporter of Rep. Gaetz, telling The National Pulse editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam he is “a great guy,” “wonderful person,” and admirably “strong” in the face of concerted attacks in a recent interview.

Pentagon Begs Congress for MORE Ukraine Cash as Biden Warns of ‘Urgency’.

Joe Biden and his Pentagon are both warning and begging the U.S. Congress over the stream of arms and financial support for the Ukrainian war machine, with the President insisting that U.S. aid “cannot under any circumstance” be interrupted. The Pentagon has admitted that the U.S. has “completely run out of long-term funding for Kyiv through the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which provides money to contract for future weapons.”

“We have already been forced to slow down the replenishment of our own forces to hedge against an uncertain funding future,” said Pentagon Comptroller Michael McCord. “Failure to replenish our military services on a timely basis could harm our military’s readiness.”

“The vast majority of both parties – Democrats and Republicans, Senate and House – support helping Ukraine and the brutal aggression that is being thrust upon them by Russia,” Biden himself insisted this weekend. “We have time, not much time, and there’s an overwhelming sense of urgency.”

Further aid for Ukraine may struggle to pass the House of Representatives, where America First conservatives appear unwilling to agree to send further assistance to the Eastern European country as part of any deal Speaker Kevin McCarthy may broker with House Democrats, especially while the southern border remains unprotected.

It has been revealed that U.S. aid for Ukraine is being used not only for humanitarian and military purposes, but to prop up the Ukrainian economy more generally, with Americans funding the salaries of almost 60,000 public officials, subsidizing Ukrainian businesses, and purchasing seed and fertilizer for Ukrainian commerical farmers.
