John Kerry Quits White House Climate Envoy Job.

John Kerry, President Biden’s special envoy for climate, is planning to step down from the Biden regime by spring, as told by two people privy to his plans. Serving as the principal diplomat on climate change since 2021, Kerry’s primary role has been to persuade worldwide governments to significantly reduce their greenhouse emissions. During his tenure, he led the U.S. team at three UN climate summits, reestablishing American declinism after the U.S.’ withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement under the Trump administration.

Kerry also championed cooperation between the U.S. and the Chinese Communist Party.

Earlier this week, Kerry met with Joe Biden in the White House, informing the president of his intention to resign. His decision was relayed to his staff during an impromptu meeting on Saturday.

While no successor has been mentioned, Kerry has expressed his intention to leave in the coming months. He plans to attend the forthcoming World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The White House and Kerry have not responded to comment requests; Kerry’s plans were initially reported by Axios.

DeSantis Lashes Out at Conservative Outlets That Won’t Back Him – ‘It’s a Racket!’

Florida Governor and Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis has expressed irritation at the conservative media for declining to support him uncritically, calling it evidence of a “racket.” The outburst comes just days ahead of the Iowa caucuses, where DeSantis is in a “fight for his life” against Nikki Haley for second place position.

“It used to be, ‘Oh, Republicans, you know, don’t like the liberal media, the NBC, CNN, all that stuff or whatever, but that the conservative media were like the good guys, right? They’re fighting for us,’” DeSantis said at an event in Clive, Iowa on Thursday.

“Well, let me tell you, it’s all a racket. OK? It’s all a racket,” he complained. “They’re trying to get clicks, they’re trying to do all this stuff. There’s as much fake news on the right as there is on the corporate press now.”

He claimed the alleged situation was “fine” with him, as “that’s just the way it works.”

“It’s ultimately a business. You gotta do that. But if we’re not able to speak as individuals and if we have to rely on those filters, whether they’re traditional liberal media or kind of the more conservative media that’s done, look, I mean, I think it’s just the case people have said, you know, any great movement, you know, great causes start out as a movement, you know, end up a business, and degenerate into a racket,” he rambled.

DeSantis is reported to have been especially aggrieved at Fox News for not defending him when Donald Trump challenged his pandemic record during a recent town hall, which significantly outdrew the Floridian’s parallel debate with Nikki Haley.

Previously, the governor received much favorable coverage from Fox, but this was reduced as he crashed in the polls, with sources indicating that the Murdoch family, which runs the network, “can smell a loser.”

WATCH: Trump Mocks Biden with ‘White House Senior Living’ Ad.

Donald Trump has embarrassed Joe Biden in a new Instagram video, portraying the 81-year-old Democrat as a satisfied customer of “White House Senior Living.”

The mock advertisement shows the octogenarian president looking vacant at public events, requiring assistance putting on his jacket and struggling feebly to move a beach chair — an incident Trump has often referenced in recent speeches and interviews.

“Our vibrant facility offers delightful activities and outings, round-the-clock professional care, and exquisite House-made meals,” the ad’s narrator says as Biden mumbles about his love of Italian food.

“And ice cream,” First Lady Jill Biden reminds him.

“And ice cream! Chocolate chip ice cream!” Biden exclaims in response.

“White House Senior Living,” the ad concludes. “Where residents feel like presidents.”

National Review Says Pick DeSantis or Haley Because They’d Be Cool With ‘Losing’ a Stolen Election.

The establishment National Review magazine concedes it is an “understatement” to describe Donald Trump as the front-runner in the race for the GOP nomination, but is pleading that it is “not too late” for Republicans to choose Nikki Haley or Ron DeSantis instead. The outlet claims the pair would be “quite likely” to defeat Joe Biden, but would be better “for the party and for the country” even if they lost because they would not try to fight a stolen election.

While the Review admits that Trump “notched some important conservative wins and even forged some creative victories” as President, citing the Abraham Accords, they insist he “disgraced” himself by “trying to deny the results of an election.”

“It’s impossible to imagine Ron DeSantis or Nikki Haley, whatever their other flaws, engaging in such grotesquely selfish behavior injurious to our republic,” the Review states, arguing their willingness to submit to a potentially rigged election makes them “vastly preferable to Trump.”

“When a mob, fervently believing Trump’s lies, fought its way into the U.S. Capitol to try to end the count, Trump did little or nothing to try to stop it,” they add, falsely.

Nevertheless, the Review had to admit that “the electability argument [against Trump] has been rendered null and void by his strong polling in a hypothetical matchup with President Biden.”

Epstein Victim Virginia Giuffre Saw Clinton, Gore on ‘Pedo Island’ – Court Docs.

Unsealed court documents related to dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein contain allegations that both Bill Clinton and his former vice president, Al Gore, visited Epstein’s private island of Little St. James, better known as “Pedo Island.”

Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre reported seeing Clinton on Little St. James on two separate occasions. An unsealed deposition shows she also reported seeing Al Gore on the island with his wife Tipper.

Clinton has admitted to flying on Epstein’s private plane, dubbed ‘The Lolita Express,’ multiple times, but denies setting foot on Pedo Island.

Epstein associate and convicted child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has also denied that the 77-year-old Democrat was ever a guest on the island.

Prominent Democrats who are confirmed to have visited Little St. James include Reid Hoffman, the billionaire LinkedIn founder.

Hoffman is a prolific donor to the Democratic Party and has also put money towards the legal defense of Trump-Russia hoaxers Fusion GPS, and neocon GOP candidate Nikki Haley, all in hopes of damaging the 45th President.

D.C. Trump Prosecutor Had to Go BACK to College Because His Egyptian Human Rights Degree Didn’t Allow Him to Practice Law.

Department of Justice (DOJ) attorney James Pearce, who represented Jack Smith’s prosecution team against Donald Trump in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, worked as a law officer at the United Nations (UN) despite the fact his law degree did not actually allow him to practice law.

Pearce, who struggled to defend the DOJ position against Trump attorney Dean John Sauer before the D.C. Court of Appeals on Tuesday, is a history major who initially taught migrant children in Turkey after graduating. After a few years, he made efforts to “upskill” himself, enrolling at the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and graduating with a degree in human rights law.

He was able to parlay this into a job as a rule of law officer with the corruption-riddled United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Darfur, Sudan — despite not actually being qualified to practice law.

“I was the only one among the rule of law officers in the office who didn’t have a degree that allowed me to practice law,” Pearce admitted in 2008. He also disclosed he “wasn’t really sure that” he and his UN colleagues “were accomplishing that much” in Darfur.

The low value of Pearce’s Egyptian degree forced him to return to college in the United States before he could reinvent himself at the DOJ, where he began work in 2015. He has subsequently been involved in several cases related to Jan 6, which he has described as “an act of domestic terrorism.”

His opposite number in Trump’s D.C. appeal, Dean John Sauer, has a much more robust background. Sauer is a former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, and a former Solicitor General of Missouri.

SecDef Lloyd Austin Was In Hospital for Prostate Cancer, and Subsequent UTI.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was treated for prostate cancer last month, according to a statement from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Austin experienced complications from the procedure, which led to his hospitalization on New Year’s Day and subsequent failure to notify the White House and defense officials of his status.

Although the statement is the first official explanation of why Austin was in the hospital, it still does not explain the Defense Secretary’s failure to notify the proper authorities of his status.

“Changes in his laboratory evaluation in early December 2023 identified prostate cancer which required treatment,” the statement said. “On December 22, 2023, after consultation with his medical team, he was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and underwent a minimally invasive surgical procedure called a prostatectomy to treat and cure prostate cancer.”

On New Year’s Day, however, Austin was admitted to Walter Reed with complications from the December 22 procedure, including nausea and severe pain in his abdomen, hip, and leg, where he was found to have contracted a urinary tract infection (UTI) and impaired small intestine function due to fluid buildup.

“This resulted in the back up of his intestinal contents which was treated by placing a tube through his nose to drain his stomach. The abdominal fluid collections were drained by non-surgical drain placement,” according to the statement. “He has progressed steadily throughout his stay. His infection has cleared. He continues to make progress and we anticipate a full recovery although this can be a slow process. During this stay, Secretary Austin never lost consciousness and never underwent general anesthesia.”

The White House is currently reviewing Cabinet member protocol following the incident, while GOP Rep. Matt Rosendale will submit impeachment articles against Austin for “violat[ing] his oath of office time and time again, and has jeopardiz[ing] the lives of the American people.”

LISTEN: Hot Mic Catches Journos Joking About Trump Being Assassinated – ‘Like JFK! Take a Convertible!’

Microphones caught journalists waiting for Donald Trump to arrive at the E. Barrett Prettyman Courthouse in Washington D.C. joking about the former president being assassinated on Tuesday.

Trump is attending the D.C. Court of Appeals to hear the opening oral arguments in his appeal against Jack Smith’s efforts to prosecute him over January 6th, and journalists gathered outside the courthouse in substantial numbers ahead of his arrival.

Two of them could be heard in live feeds joking about having a “good shot” at the America First leader when he arrived, particularly if he showed up driving a convertible like the one the late President John F. Kennedy was riding in when he was shot in the head in 1963:

First Journalist: You know what the worst part is? Even if he has his window open and he’s hanging out of it, he will be on the other side of the street.

Second Journalist: I mean, if he’s driving, we’ve got a good shot!

First Journalist: Yeah, if he’s driving with the front window open?

Second Journalist: Yeah, or if it’s a convertible?

First Journalist: Yeah. I wasn’t thinking about that.

Second Journalist: Yeah. Like if he just pulls up–

First Journalist: Like JFK?

Second Journalist: (laughs)

First Journalist: Maybe someone, just like they told JFK. You know what you should do? You should take a convertible! It’s so nice out!

Trump’s hearing is being overseen by a panel of two Joe Biden-appointed judges and one George H. W. Bush-appointed judge.

His lawyers argue the Smith prosecution amounts to double jeopardy, as Trump was already tried and acquitted over January 6th by the U.S. Senate, and that Smith is also violating the principle of presidential immunity for official acts.

Donald Trump is in Washington, D.C. today, at the E. Barrett Prettyman Courthouse, where his lawyers will appeal he should be entitled to presidential immunity from prosecution by Jack Smith over January 6th.

Trump’s lawyers are also expected to argue the prosecution violates the principle of double jeopardy — meaning a man should not be tried twice for the same offense — as he was already cleared of wrongdoing over January 6th in the Senate trial which followed the Democrats’ failed impeachment of him in 2021.

The appeal will be heard by one George H. W. Bush appointee, Karen LeCraft Henderson, and two Joe Biden appointees, Florence Y. Pan and Michelle Childs.

Smith had sought to skip the D.C. Court of Appeals and take the case directly to the Supreme Court, but Trump successfully argued against it. This means even if the current panel rules against Trump, he can appeal to be heard by the entire D.C. Court of Appeals en banc, and then finally the Supreme Court.

Even if Trump loses all of these appeals in D.C., a Democrat-dominated city, the delay helps the former President. His trial will likely have to be delayed under after the November elections if the D.C. appeals are not completed until relatively late in 2024.

While cameras and generally disallowed in federal courthouses, members of the public can listen to audio from the appeal hearing live from 9:30 a.m. EST.

Fulton County DA Fani Willis ‘Had Affair With Married Special Prosecutor, Funded Vacations with Public Money.’

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, pursuing Donald Trump for supposed election interference in Georgia, and married special prosecutor Nathan Wade have been accused of engaging in an “improper” and “clandestine” relationship by lawyers for Michael Roman, one of the former president’s co-defendants.

Willis and Wade are accused of personally enriching themselves, with Wade having been paid almost $654,000 in legal fees authorized by the DA since his appointment in January 2022. Wade is said to have used this money to bring Willis on vacations in Florida and Napa Valley and to take her on Caribbean cruises.

Roman’s lawyers are calling for the charges against him to be thrown out, with the DA and special prosecutor potentially facing investigation for the federal crimes of honest service fraud and racketeering.

“The district attorney chose to appoint her romantic partner, who at all times relevant to this prosecution has been a married man,” Roman attorney Ashleigh Merchant wrote in a filing.

Merchant is calling for the case to be dropped “on the grounds that the district attorney and the special prosecutor have been engaged in an improper, clandestine personal relationship during the pendency of this case, which has resulted in the special prosecutor, and, in turn, the district attorney, profiting significantly from this prosecution at the expense of the taxpayers.”
