Former President Donald Trump’s town hall on Fox News Wednesday night received double the audience of the CNN “debate” between Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis, which aired for twice the amount of time.
The two-hour catfight between Haley and DeSantis has been billed as the “battle for second place”, especially in the forthcoming Iowa caucuses. The event was critical for both candidates, though neither seemed to dominate on the night, with DeSantis steadier on policy, but Haley more relatable.
Meanwhile, Trump’s hour-long chat with Bret Baier, Martha McCallum, and Iowa voters pulled in twice as many viewers, also beating DeSantis and Haley’s respective town halls on Fox the two nights prior:
