EXC: DeSantis’s New PAC Chairman Is… a Democrat.

Yet another county chairman for Ron DeSantis’s top super PAC has been exposed as highly questionable, being not merely a Never Trumper with little in common with MAGA conservatives but, in fact, an actual Democrat politician.

James Steinkuehler, who is now a county chairman for the DeSantis ‘Never Back Down PAC’ in Crawford County, Iowa, is also the county’s elected sheriff – representing the Democratic Party. Steinkuehler, who beat Republican Ray Ohl in November 2020, has also thrown his weight behind Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, with his term set to expire next year.

Repeating tactics originally used in Ted Cruz’s failed bid for the Republican nomination, Never Back Down recently unveiled PAC chairmen in all 99 of Iowa’s counties – but they are already doing the Florida Governor more harm than good.

Several, such as Joel Kurtinitis and Matt Wells, are known Never Trumpers who previously served as county chairmen for Cruz. Wells, in particular, has embarrassed the Florida Governor by telling the press MAGA conservatives are “degenerates” and that he would not “piss on Donald Trump if he was on fire.”

Mark Chelgren, another local NBD chairman, tried to pass off a certificate from the now defunct Sizzler steakhouse as a business degree, while Ryan Frederick has threatened to leave his GOP post if Trump is again the nominee, perhaps proving that he will, in fact, back down.

200K Bond for Trump, Who’ll Be Arrested in GA on Thursday.

Former President Donald Trump has announced he will travel to Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday to be arrested. The former President called his indictment by a Fulton County grand jury a “witch hunt” and accused District Attorney Fani Willis of “continuing to campaign, and raise money” off of his prosecution. Trump also said the Georgia prosecution was, “…in strict coordination with Crooked Joe Biden’s DOJ.”

Last week, Willis announced that Trump along with 18 other individuals would be charged under the RICO statute for actions and statements made during the 2020 presidential election.

As The National Pulse previously reported, Trump’s alleged co-conspirators include former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani (who led the city through the aftermath of 9/11), former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, attorney John Eastman, former Department of Justice attorney Jeffery Clark, attorney Sydney Powell, attorney Kenneth Chesebro, and pro-DeSantis attorney Jenna Ellis.

District Attorney Fani Willis has come under increasing criticism for her handling of the Trump prosecution in Georgia – including launching her own political fundraising site shortly before the indictments were handed down. Additionally, Willis was removed from a part of her case by a judge when she held a fundraiser for the Democrat political opponent of one of her investigations targets – a Republican state lawmaker.

Last week, in an apparent error, the docket report listing the charges against former President Trump was uploaded to the Fulton County court website shortly before the  grand jury actually voted on the indictments.

BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street Are ‘Most Powerful Cartel in History’, Says Vivek.

Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy has declared the BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard corporations are “arguably the most powerful cartel in human history,” using their financial might to impose hard-left climate change policies and identity politics on much of the supposedly free market.

“[T]hey’re the largest shareholders of nearly every major public company (even of each other) & they use *your* own money to foist ESG [Environmental, Social, and Governance] agendas onto corporate boards – voting for ‘racial equity audits’ & ‘Scope 3 emissions caps’ that don’t advance your best financial interests,” Ramaswamy accused.

“This raises serious fiduciary, antitrust, and conflict-of-interest concerns. As President I will cut off the real hand that guides the ESG movement – not the invisible hand of the free market, but the invisible fist of government itself,” said the tech entrepreneur, a previously unknown figure who has now pulled ahead of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in multiple polls.

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink bragged in 2017 that mega-businesses like his were using their financial firepower to “force behaviors” on gender and race, while BlackRock recruiter Serge Varlay was caught boasting that the firm had U.S. Senators and other politician “in [its] pocket” by an undercover reporter earlier this year.

3 More Hunter Biden Lawyers Withdraw from His Case.

Three more defense attorneys for Hunter Biden have filed to withdraw from his case, following lead attorney Chris Clark’s withdrawal last week. Attorneys Brian C. McManus, Timothy H. McCarten, and Matthew S. Salerno have requested permission from the judge to step down from the case after the plea deal was dismissed on August 17. Prosecutors anticipate that the case will now proceed to trial, likely taking place in Delaware or California.

In their motion, the attorneys state that Hunter Biden has been informed of and consents to their withdrawal. They express confidence that it will not have any adverse effect on him and affirm their satisfaction with the continued representation of Messrs. Lowell and Jones. Abbe David Lowell of Winston & Strawn LLP will continue to represent Hunter Biden until the conclusion of the matter.

Last week, the plea deal, which involved Hunter Biden pleading guilty to not paying taxes on more than $1.5 million of income, was invalidated and officially dismissed by the judge. The deal, which initially included probation instead of jail time and provided immunity for potential future charges, came under scrutiny and fell apart. Lawyers for Hunter Biden argued that the terms of the diversion agreement within the plea deal should still be upheld, claiming the government reneged on a previously agreed-upon agreement.

border wall

Biden Sold Off $300M of Border Wall Materials at 99% Discount.

The Biden government is selling off $300 million worth of materials intended for Donald Trump’s U.S.-Mexico border wall for just $2 million in an effort to stop it being used to deter illegal migrant crossings.

GovPlanet, an online auction house that specializes in selling military surplus, has auctioned off over 80 lots of square structural tubes intended to be used as 28-foot vertical bollards for around $298 million less than its original cost since April this year, with another 13 lots up for auction before the end of August. The auctioneers also received $154,200 for 729 vertical bollards sold in five individual lots earlier this week.

Critics of the Biden regime claim that it’s attempting to expedite the sale of the materials before the majority Republican House of Representatives passes and enforces the Finish It Act – a bill introduced by Texas Senator Ted Cruz that would require the government to deploy materials to ensure the Southern Border wall is completed.

“This sale is a wasteful and ludicrous decision by the Biden administration that only serves as further proof they have no shame,” stated Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker, who co-sponsored the Finish It Act.

The latest example of Biden’s border crisis came last month when President Biden released over 500,000 illegal migrants into the United States making use of a “parole” scheme from the 1950s.

CNN: Trump to Report to Fulton County Jail Thursday or Friday.

Donald Trump will “surrender” at Fulton County Jail to face charges leveled at him by Georgia District Attorney (DA) Fani Willis on Thursday or Friday, according to a “senior law enforcement official” cited by CNN.

DA Willis, who raised suspicions about her prosecution by publishing the indictment before a grand jury had even issued it, claims Trump orchestrated “a multi-state, coordinated plan… to influence the results of the November 2020 election in Georgia and elsewhere,” and is hitting him with 13 charges under the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act, as if he was a mafia don.

Trump has been highly critical of Willis, branding her an anti-white racist pursuing him as part of a “campaign and fundraising CON JOB” while violent crime in her jurisdiction spirals.

Eighteen alleged co-conspirators have also been charged, most notably Rudy Giuliani, the 9/11-era New York City mayor who was acting as a lawyer for Trump following the disputed 2020 election.

Leftist politicians seem intent of making Trump’s arrest in Georgia into a public spectacle, with local sheriff Patrick ‘Pat’ Labat – a Democrat – promising the press a mugshot of the former president, which previous arraignments in New York, Florida, and Washington D.C. have not produced.

Matt Gaetz Moves to Censure Trump’s D.C. Indictment Judge.

House Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has introduced a resolution to censure and condemn Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, the federal prosecutor overseeing former President Donald Trump’s Washington D.C. criminal indictment, arguing her open bias and partisanship ought to exclude her from presiding over the case.

Gaetz’s resolution, entitled “Censuring and condemning United States District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan” was submitted to the House of Representatives last Friday, and demands the GOP-led House Judiciary Committee investigate Chutkan for conducting her court with “open bias.”

“Judge Tanya Chutkan’s extreme sentencing of January 6th defendants, while openly supporting the violent Black Lives Matter riots of 2020, showcases a complete disregard for her duty of impartiality and the rule of law,” Gaetz stated in a press release after announcing the resolution, before adding:

“Justice may be blind, but the American people are not – we see Judge Chutkan for her actions, and we rebuke them in the greatest possible sense.”

It has been revealed that the Jamaican-born federal prosecutor, appointed by former President Barack Obama, donated several thousand dollars to Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. She is also a close relative of Frank and Kenneth Hill, with the latter described by the former Governor of Jamaica, Sir Arthur Richards, as “probably the most dangerous subversive agent in Jamaica.”

woke

GOP Voters Are Over ‘Woke’.

Republican presidential candidates at the Iowa State Fair last week barely mentioned the term “woke,” signaling a possible shift in their messaging strategy since Florida Governor Ron DeSantis oversaturated his campaign with the word, early on.

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and indeed DeSantis, who once heavily criticized wokeness, downplayed their use of the term in their speeches, with voters suggesting the phrase, alongside “mind virus” is both vague and a second tier concern in the upcoming election.

Polling suggests Republican voters are more responsive to bread-and-butter issues like tax cuts and crime reduction.

Iowa voters in attendance had mixed views on the matter, with some expressing concern over the infusion of left-wing ideology into public life, and wokeness described as anger, dishonesty, and an attempt to change the face of America. The definition of woke varies, however, from person to person. Polling showed only a quarter of respondents preferred a candidate focused on combating woke ideology, with a majority favoring a candidate who emphasizes law and order.

Candidates such as DeSantis and Ramaswamy have altered their messaging to address broader themes related to parental decision-making rather than using the buzzword “woke.” These candidates are still discussing anti-woke themes; they have just moved away from explicit usage of the term. The shift in messaging reflects a response to changing public perception and a desire to connect with Republican voters on a broader range of issues.

‘Listless Vessels’ Insult Sends DeSantis Camp into Tailspin.

Ron DeSantis insulted supporters of former President Donald J. Trump as “listless vessels,” in an interview aired this weekend, with MAGA-world comparing the jab to Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” moment and seizing on the comments to highlight the Florida Governor’s marriage of convenience-only with America First politics.

DeSantis told interviewer Will Witt:

“The movement has got to be about what are you trying to achieve on behalf of the American people and that’s got to be based in principle, because if you’re not rooted in principle, if all we are is listless vessels that’s just supposed to follow… whatever happens to come down the pike on Truth Social every morning, that’s not going to be a durable movement.”

Karoline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for Make American Great Again Inc., responded: “To Hillary Clinton, Trump supporters are ‘deplorables.’ To Ron DeSantis, they are ‘listless vessels’…The truth is, Trump supporters are patriots. DeSantis must immediately apologize for his disgraceful insult.”

DeSantis is not alone in expressing his disdain for Trump supporters, which represent up to 70 percent of the Republican base today. Matt Wells, chairman of the Florida Governor’s Never Back Down PAC, attacked the American South and Southerners as “degenerates” in comments made last week. The Governor distanced himself from his own online operation, directed by open borders enthusiast Christina Pushaw, which routinely seeks to attack Trump supporters on social media.

Political Assassinations Hang Over Ecuador as Country Goes to Polls.

Ecuadorian politician Pedro Briones, an organizer for the Citizen’s Revolution party, was shot and killed this week, bringing the total number of political murders in Ecuador up to three within less than a month.

“Ecuador is experiencing its bloodiest era… A heartfelt hug to the family of colleague Pedro Briones, fallen by the hands of violence,” said Luisa Gonzalez, leader of the Citizen’s Revolution party and front-runner in the ongoing presidential race prompted by a corruption scandal.

Briones was killed a week after the daylight assassination of Fernando Villavicencio, a presidential candidate and “fearless whistleblower.” Villavicencio was killed after holding a political rally in the Ecuadorian capital city, Quito, despite being surrounded by security guards and police officers. His campaign focused on tackling the country’s problems with corruption and organized crime.

Villavicencio’s murder was also proceeded by the death of Manta city mayor Agustin Intriago, shot and killed at the end of July, shortly after being reinstated.

Ecuador’s crime rate has skyrocketed over the past decade. The country’s murder rate has spiked from 5.8 percent per 100,000 in 2016 to 25.6 percent as of this year, according to the Ecuadorian national police.

“I want this country to be a place of peace, a productive country… I believe Ecuador is a paradise and they have turned it into hell,” argued Andrea Gonzalez Ander, Villavicencio’s running-mate in regards to the country’s growing gang violence and political corruption.

The “Citizen’s Revolution” party is described as “center right” though has previously sought alliances with left-wing groups.
