Far-Left Pol Now Wanted on Corruption Charges Campaigned to Ban Trump.

PULSE POINTS:

❓What Happened: Tulip Siddiq, a Member of Parliament (MP) for Britain’s governing Labour Party, now facing corruption charges in Bangladesh, campaigned to ban President Donald J. Trump from Britain in 2016, and campaigned for Barack Obama in 2008.

👥 Who’s Involved: Tulip Siddiq, President Donald J. Trump, former President Barack Obama, and Bangladesh’s Anti-Corruption Commission.

📍 Where & When: British Parliament debate in January 2016; arrest warrant issued in Bangladesh, April 2025.

💬 Key Quote: “The United Kingdom should not be held to ransom by corrosive billionaire politicians,” Siddiq said of Trump in 2016.

⚠️ Impact: Siddiq’s corruption charges undermine her past criticisms of Trump, exposing contradictions in her political stance.

IN FULL:

Tulip Siddiq, a Member of Parliament (MP) for Britain’s governing Labour Party and, until recently, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s Anti-Corruption Minister, is now wanted in Bangladesh on corruption charges. Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, previously covered her efforts to ban President Donald J. Trump from the United Kingdom and her campaign work for Barack Obama in 2008.

In January 2016, Siddiq took a prominent role in a parliamentary push to bar Trump from entering Britain. Speaking to the British press, Siddiq called Trump “corrosive,” dismissing contemporary reports he could pull a proposed £700 million investment in Scotland if he was banned from the country. “The United Kingdom should not be held to ransom by corrosive billionaire politicians,” she stated. “Donald Trump’s threats about withholding investment from the UK is another desperate attempt to get in the headlines, and anyone seeing his comments should reject his bigotry.”

At the time, Trump was under fire for proposing a so-called “Muslim ban” to stem Islamist terror attacks—later manifested as a ban on travel from certain known hotbeds of jihadism with insecure vetting for outbound travelers.

Not coincidentally, Bangladesh—where Siddiq’s now-ousted aunt Sheikh Hasina was Prime Minister—is overwhelmingly Muslim in composition. Siddiq’s corruption charges are linked to allegations she and her family profited from misused public funds in the country during her aunt’s 15-year rule.

In addition to campaigning against Trump traveling to Britain, Siddiq traveled to the U.S. to campaign for Barack Obama during his 2008 U.S. presidential run, according to the ‘British Bangladeshi Who’s Who’ magazine.

She backed the bid by hard-left former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn—expelled by Starmer amid an anti-Semitism scandal—but maintained a high profile following his ouster, being appointed as Economic Secretary to the Treasury and City Minister, or Anti-Corruption Minister, when Labour regained power last July.

Bangladesh’s Anti-Corruption Commission accuses her of illegally obtaining a 7,200-square-foot plot in Dhaka’s diplomatic zone through abuse of power. The commission alleges she used forged signatures to secure a flat, qualifying her for the land deal, as part of broader investigations into her family’s dealings during Hasina’s government.

‘America is an Anglo Country’ — VP Vance Says Brexit Britain Has ‘Good Chance’ to Strike U.S. Trade Deal.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: U.S. Vice-President J.D. Vance expressed optimism about the potential for a trade agreement with the United Kingdom, which regained control over its trade policy from the European Union (EU) following Brexit, as negotiations to end tariffs continue.

👥 Who’s Involved: U.S. Vice-President J.D. Vance, U.S. President Donald J. Trump, British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, British Business and Trade Minister Sarah Jones.

📍 Where & When: Comments made during an interview with UnHerd on Monday.

💬 Key Quote: “There’s a real cultural affinity. And of course, fundamentally America is an Anglo country. I think there’s a good chance that, yes, we’ll come to a great agreement that’s in the best interest of both countries.” — Vice President J.D. Vance.

⚠️ Impact: A potential British-American trade deal may eliminate or significantly reduce tariffs, leaving Britain better placed to conduct trade with the U.S. than the European Union.

IN FULL:

Vice President J.D. Vance indicated there is a “good chance” the U.S. will reach a trade agreement with the United Kingdom. Speaking to UnHerd, Vance said, “We’re certainly working very hard with Keir Starmer’s government” on a trade deal.” Unlike the 27 national governments of the European Union (EU), which surrender control over their trade policy to the unelected European Commission, the British government can strike bilateral trade deals on its own initiative following Brexit.

“The President really loves the United Kingdom. He loved the Queen. He admires and loves the King. It is a very important relationship. And he’s a businessman and has a number of important business relationships in [Britain],” Vance explained. “But I think it’s much deeper than that. There’s a real cultural affinity. And of course, fundamentally America is an Anglo country. I think there’s a good chance that, yes, we’ll come to a great agreement that’s in the best interest of both countries,” he added.

The “Liberation Day” reciprocal tariff imposed on Britain on April 2 was initially half the tariff imposed on the EU, at 10 percent versus 20 percent. However, President Trump has now reduced all reciprocal tariffs—except China’s—to 10 percent while trade negotiations are conducted.

Sources in the United Kingdom claim significant progress has been made in discussions with the U.S., aiming for a comprehensive trade deal. This agreement would transcend tariffs, involving trade in both goods and services. Vance believes a U.S.-EU trade deal may be more challenging, as “with the United Kingdom, we have a much more reciprocal relationship than we have with, say, Germany… While we love the Germans, they are heavily dependent on exporting to the United States but are pretty tough on a lot of American businesses that would like to export into Germany.”

British Business and Trade Minister Sarah Jones responded positively to Vance’s comments, emphasizing that reducing tariffs is a priority to promote jobs and growth.

Children’s Home Leaders Instructed to Adopt Gender-Inclusive Language Over ‘Boys’ and ‘Girls.’

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: The Care Inspectorate in Scotland has issued new guidance directing children’s home managers to use “gender-inclusive language” to avoid offending transgenders. Staff are advised not to refer to residents as “boys” or “girls” and to use gender-neutral terms to ensure inclusivity.

👥 Who’s Involved: The Care Inspectorate provided the guidance. It impacts staff at children’s homes across Scotland.

📍 Where & When: This guidance applies to children’s homes in Scotland and was released by the regional government last week.

💬 Key Quote: A spokesman from the Care Inspectorate stated, “Every day, the staff of these services must, and do, find ways of helping all young people to feel supported, loved, valued, and respected.”

⚠️ Impact: The Scottish government agency contends the guidance aims to create a more inclusive environment for all young residents. However, critics contend the language policy only affirms false perceptions caused by mental health issues.

IN FULL:

The Care Inspectorate in Scotland has issued new guidance directing children’s homes to adopt “gender-inclusive” language to ensure all residents feel respected and valued. According to the latest guidelines, children’s home staff should avoid calling residents “boys” or “girls” and encourage language that does not risk offending transgender patients.

Officials for Scotland’s devolved government—roughly equivalent to a U.S. state government—claim the move follows requests from child services seeking assistance in accommodating the needs of young people who identify as transgender or non-binary. The instructions indicate that phrases like “come on, boys and girls” no longer align with recommended practices for supporting LGBTQ individuals.

A representative from the Care Inspectorate explained, “Every day, the staff of these services must, and do, find ways of helping all young people to feel supported, loved, valued and respected.” The guidance states that staff should “try to create an environment that feels safe to explore identity and enables young people to change their mind in the future if they wish to do so.”

The Care Inspectorate guidance comes just months after the British central government, now led by the leftist Labour Party, decided to maintain the previous Conservative government’s ban on prescribing puberty-blocking drugs to minors in England. Announcing the move last December, Health Secretary Wes Streeting emphasized the lack of evidence for the safety of child gender transitions: “Children’s health care must always be evidence-led. The independent expert Commission on Human Medicines found that the current prescribing and care pathway for gender dysphoria and incongruence presents an unacceptable safety risk for children and young people.”

Increasingly, medical studies are finding that so-called “gender-affirming” treatments do not reduce the demand for mental health services, indicating that the procedures fail to address underlying psychological issues associated with transgenderism.

Minority Report: Predictive Algorithms Will Be Used to Identify Potential Criminals.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: An algorithm is being developed to predict which criminals might later commit murder.

👥 Who’s Involved: Britain’s Ministry of Justice, Greater Manchester Police and other British police forces, and civil liberties group Statewatch.

📍 Where & When: The United Kingdom; the project started in January 2023 and is believed to have been completed in December 2024 but is yet to be deployed.

💬 Key Quote: “Time and again, research shows that algorithmic systems for ‘predicting’ crime are inherently flawed,” noted Sofia Lyall from Statewatch.

⚠️ Impact: Concerns about bias and the ethical implications of using such predictive models on vast datasets, including from communities already facing structural discrimination.

IN FULL:

The British Ministry of Justice is advancing in its initiative to create an algorithmic tool aimed at predicting which individuals convicted of crimes might escalate to committing homicide. Known internally as the Homicide Prediction Project, the undertaking emerged through Freedom of Information requests from the civil liberties group Statewatch, which flagged the project as concerning.

Expanding on risk-prediction systems already in place, the project is designed to build upon frameworks such as the Offender Assessment System (OASys), which has been used since 2001 to forecast recidivism and inform legal decisions. However, the broad scope of data in this new model has raised red flags. Data utilized, sourced from various police and government bodies, potentially includes information on up to half a million people, some without any criminal history.

Despite officials’ assertions that the project remains in a research phase, uncovered documents allude to future deployments. Sources claim increased collaboration across government agencies and police forces, such as Greater Manchester Police and the Metropolitan Police, to enhance the dataset driving these predictions.

Statewatch has raised ethical concerns about the predictive model’s potential for systemic bias. The British state has already attempted to introduce guidelines that were explicitly two-tier and would have seen ethnic minorities prioritized for bail over white men in the country.

Statewatch’s Sofia Lyall described the algorithm project as “chilling and dystopian,” calling for an immediate cessation of its development. “Time and again, research shows that algorithmic systems for ‘predicting’ crime are inherently flawed,” he said. She highlighted the risk algorithms pose in creating profiles of potential criminals before any crime is committed.

Ariana Grande Concert Terrorist Stabs and Burns Prison Guards.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: A violent incident occurred in His Majesty’s Prison (HMP) Frankland where Manchester Arena terrorist Hashem Abedi attacked three prison guards. In response, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s government has suspended kitchen use in prison separation centers.

👥 Who’s Involved: Hashem Abedi, who played a role in the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing, and three prison guards.

📍 Where & When: The attack took place at HMP Frankland, one of two so-called separation centers for the most dangerous convicts, on Saturday.

💬 Key Quote: “In our view, [Abedi] should not be allowed any privileges whatsoever while serving a sentence for the deaths of 22 innocent lives and the injuring of many more,” relatives of the Manchester Arena attack’s victims wrote in a letter to the authorities. “He should not have access to anything that he can weaponize, such as hot oil or items he can turn into blades.”

⚠️ Impact: Two male guards remain in hospital with “potentially fatal” injuries, with one suffering a severed artery in his neck and another being left with a punctured lung. A female officer, left with third-degree burns after Abedi threw hot oil on her, was discharged from hospital on Sunday.

IN FULL:

Following a serious assault on prison staff by Hashem Abedi, the brother of Manchester Arena suicide bomber Salman Abedi, at His Majesty’s Prison (HMP) Frankland, kitchen use in certain prison “separation centers” has been temporarily suspended. The incident occurred Saturday at HMP Frankland, where Abedi, already serving a life sentence, reportedly attacked three guards. Two male victims suffered “potentially fatal” injuries and remain hospitalized, while a female guard received third-degree burns. Abedi had melted down hoarded butter sachets into hot oil to attack her, according to sources.

Abedi was involved in his brother’s 2017 suicide bombing of an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena, England. Twenty-two people, many of them young girls and parents, were murdered, and over 1,000 were injured, some critically.

This latest attack unfolded after Abedi accessed kitchen areas at the prison’s separation center, which accommodates some of Britain’s most dangerous inmates. The prison officers’ association detailed how the jihadist launched an attack using hot oil and homemade blades crafted from cooking trays.

Abedi has since been transferred to another high-security separation site. The Ministry of Justice announced a comprehensive investigation into the attack, affirming their commitment to reviewing and potentially revising security protocols in response to the breach. However, this is already Abedi’s second documented attack on prison staff, following a previous attack on two guards at London’s HMP Belmarsh in 2020.

The Manchester Arena bombing followed a series of catastrophic state failures, beginning with the decision to grant the Abedi brothers’ Libyan father asylum despite the fact he was a known Islamist. Salman Abedi had been flagged to both MI5—the domestic security agency—and Greater Manchester Police multiple times, but no meaningful action was taken.

On the night of his attack, the concert was not being covered by police due to officers taking an unauthorized multi-hour dinner break. Security guards at the arena also failed to act when Abedi, who was observed performing prayers and behaving erratically while wearing a gigantic backpack at the scene, was reported to them because they were “scared” they would be “branded racist” if they approached him.

Former Anti-Corruption Chief Wanted on Corruption Charges.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: A court in Bangladesh has issued an arrest warrant for Tulip Siddiq, a Member of Parliament (MP) for Britain’s governing Labour Party, in connection with corruption charges related to land acquisition. Until recently, Siddiq was Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s Anti-Corruption Minister.

👥 Who’s Involved: Tulip Siddiq, the niece of Bangladesh’s ex-Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, along with her family members, including Hassina, are involved in the case.

📍 Where & When: The warrant was issued in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on April 13.

💬 Key Quote: Siddiq’s lawyers claim the charges are “politically motivated.”

⚠️ Impact: The case has raised political tension between Bangladesh and Britain’s far-left government.

IN FULL:

A Bangladeshi court has issued an arrest warrant for Tulip Siddiq, a British Member of Parliament (MP), amidst mounting political tension involving her family. Siddiq, the niece of Bangladesh’s former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, faces allegations of corruption linked to the illegal acquisition of land in a government project near Dhaka. The warrant, issued by Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain of Dhaka Metropolitan, followed the receiving of charges in three cases filed by the country’s Anti-Corruption Commission.

According to reports, the legal proceedings also implicate over 50 others, including Siddiq’s mother, Sheikh Rehana, and brother, Radwan Siddiq. However, both Siddiq’s and Hasina’s camp have condemned the charges as attempts to tarnish the family’s reputation.

Siddiq, who stepped down from Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s government—in which she served as Anti-Corruption Minister—in January, was allegedly involved in a controversial 2013 nuclear power plant deal between Bangladesh and Russia, which purportedly involved financial misconduct.

Siddiq first emerged in British politics as a municipal councilor before being elected to represent a London electoral district in Parliament in 2015. She rose rapidly within the Labour Party, being promoted to a government role following Prime Minister Starmer’s election win last July.

Labour won a large majority in Parliament but with a historically low number and share of the vote, and their polling numbers have slumped amid several controversies. Brexit leader Nigel Farage’s Reform Party has surpassed Labour in many recent polls.

Collusion: France Distributing Life Jackets to Illegal Boat Migrants.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: An audio recording revealed communications between the British Border Force and the French Navy about returning life jackets loaned to migrants crossing the Channel.

👥 Who’s Involved: British Border Force, French Navy, and migrants crossing the English Channel.

📍 Where & When: English Channel between the UK and France.

💬 Key Quote: “We can arrange to return your life jackets. Can you confirm how many are on board?” — British Border Force to French Navy.

⚠️ Impact: Record numbers of migrants crossing have been observed under Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

IN FULL:

New audio recordings between the British Border Force and the French Navy provide further evidence that France has been helping migrants looking to make the perilous journey across the English Channel. The French appear to be handing out life jackets to boat migrants—and Border Force, apparently unconcerned, is arranging to return them after escorting the migrants to English shores.

“We can arrange to return your life jackets. Can you confirm how many [migrants] are on board?” the Border Force can be heard asking their French Navy counterparts.

The revelation comes amid a surge of migrants attempting to cross the Channel. Recent data show that over 7,200 people have made the journey so far this year, setting a record and marking a 33 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The National Pulse reported in early March that one location recently saw nearly 600 migrants arrive by boat in one day.

Labour Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s government has taken limited legal action against those operating the boats. Government data highlighted that this year, only five individuals have been convicted for piloting migrant boats.

Tommy Robinson Asks Court of Appeal for Early Release.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: Independent journalist and anti-grooming gangs activist Tommy Robinson has requested early release from prison, claiming his confinement is negatively affecting his health.

👥 Who’s Involved: Robinson, his lawyers, barrister Alisdair Williamson KC, the Solicitor General represented by Aidan Eardley KC, and Baroness Sue Carr, the Lady Chief Justice.

📍 Where & When: Robinson is held at His Majesty’s Prison (HMP) Woodhill, Milton Keynes. The appeal was submitted recently, following an 18-month sentence imposed last year.

💬 Key Quote: “He is being kept safe by the authorities in segregation, but being kept safe is making him ill,” argued Robinson’s barrister.

⚠️ Impact: A judicial ruling on Robinson’s appeal is expected later, with potential implications for prison management of inmates with mental health concerns.

IN FULL:

Anti-grooming gangs activist Tommy Robinson has approached the Court of Appeal to request early release from prison, citing adverse effects on his health due to his current confinement conditions. Robinson is serving an 18-month sentence for contempt of court.

Robinson’s incarceration results from breaching a court order after an expensive 2021 libel lawsuit over the fact he had accused a Syrian migrant of violent behavior. Despite the court order banning him from repeating the accusations, Robinson released the documentary Silenced, which interviewed local people who interacted with the Syrian, in defense of his claims. However, the film’s release was deemed contempt by the courts after the government went out of its way to bring a contempt case against him.

During the recent appeal hearing, his barrister Alisdair Williamson KC highlighted evidence pointing to Robinson’s struggles with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and ADHD. This medical case forms the basis for seeking a modification of his current isolation for safety reasons, which is reportedly worsening his condition. “He is being kept safe by the authorities in segregation, but being kept safe is making him ill,” said Williamson.

Placed in a closed section of the prison, Robinson is granted limited interaction with others. While he has access to various facilities, his routine is considerably restricted, intensifying concerns from his legal team about his psychological well-being.

Representing the Solicitor General, Aidan Eardley KC countered these assertions, arguing that the prison’s conditions are not more severe than initially expected. The court adjourned without a decision on the appeal. Senior judges are expected to deliver their ruling at a later date.

Two-Tier Police Block White Candidates In Name of Diversity.

PULSE POINTS:

❓What Happened: Police in the United Kingdom are actively discriminating against white candidates in a bid to improve diversity.

👥 Who’s Involved: West Yorkshire Police, white police candidates, ethnic minority police candidates.

📍 Where & When: West Yorkshire, England, documents alleged the practice has been ongoing since at least last year.

💬 Key Quote: “The use of hidden vacancies marked on the internal computer systems was intended to ensure nonwhite people apply. You can’t see these jobs online.” — West Yorkshire Police whistleblower.

⚠️ Impact: The case highlights yet another example of a public institution actively discriminating against white men in Britain.

IN FULL:

British police are actively preventing white men from joining in the name of diversity. West Yorkshire Police, one of the largest police forces in England, claims it felt that not enough Asians and black people were “represented” in the force.

“This feeds into a general theme where the pipeline for anyone white British is strangled, whilst anyone not white British is ushered through onto the next available stage,” a police whistleblower reported. West Yorkshire police have 19 dedicated staff dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), costing taxpayers the equivalent of over $1.29 million annually.

A police document from last year also reveals how white candidates were held back in the recruitment process until minority candidates were able to apply for the same roles. Some allege minority candidates were coached through the application process to make it more likely they would become officers.

Internally, West Yorkshire Police allegedly hide entry-level vacancies for new constables. This means that the jobs are only open to ethnic minorities initially and can only become available to white people later in the hiring process.

“The use of hidden vacancies marked on the internal computer systems was intended to ensure nonwhite people apply. You can’t see these jobs online. You can only know about them after you’ve been emailed by the Positive Action Team,” a former officer said.

White people not being wanted has become an increasingly common theme among British state institutions in recent years. The Royal Air Force (RAF) also discriminated against white men in its recruitment process, with leaked messages showing “useless white male pilots” were being denigrated.

Leftist Govt Cancels Funding for Muslim Child Rape Gang Probes.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: Britain’s leftist government has scrapped millions for inquiries into child grooming gang inquiries.

👥 Who’s Involved: The Labour Party, the Home Office, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls Jess Phillips, Sir Trevor Phillips.

📍 Where & When: The announcement was made in London at the British parliament on April 8.

💬 Key Quote:  “[I]t’s so obvious that they’re not doing this because of the demographic of the people involved… largely Pakistani Muslim in background, and also in Labour-held seats and councils who would be offended by it,” – Sir Trevor Phillips.

⚠️ Impact: It is now unlikely the five towns and cities will be able to carry out a full inquiry into the extent of Muslim grooming gangs and their activity.

IN FULL:

Britain’s leftist Labour Party government has scrapped its promised plans to launch at least five local inquiries into the activities of predominantly Muslim, Pakistani-heritage child rape gangs in several cities. Many believe that the party scrapped them to avoid alienating Muslim voters ahead of the upcoming municipal elections.

The government has dropped the $6.4 million promised to support the five inquiries based upon a prior inquiry that took place in the city of Telford. Home Office Minister Jess Phillips attempted to defend the move, saying that the government was adopting a “flexible approach.”

Sir Trevor Phillips, former chairman of the government’s Equality and Human Rights Commission, said the decision was likely motivated by a desire to placate Muslim voters. “[I]t’s so obvious that they’re not doing this because of the demographic of the people involved… largely Pakistani Muslim in background, and also in Labour-held seats and councils who would be offended by it,” he said.

He added that the issue has become an “open goal” for those on the right as Labour has put barriers around issues like grooming gangs and talks very little about the issue.

Grooming gangs became a focal point earlier this year, with polling in January showing that nearly half the population of the country believes the media covered up the scandals due to political correctness. A report published that same month revealed that at least 96 child rape gang members remain at large.

The brutal treatment of the mostly white, working-class girls who were victimized by the gangs included being pimped to dozens or even hundreds of men, being made to take drugs like heroin, and torture.
