Police Arrest Local People for Protesting Illegal Immigrants Being Housed Among Them.

The British government’s unannounced placement of migrants in Thetford, England, sparked protests, resulting in a police response and arrests.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Protests have erupted in Thetford, a market town in Norfolk, England, after migrant men were placed in free housing without prior notice to the local residents.
📺 DETAIL: The protests spanned several nights and resulted in property damage, clashes with police, and the arrest of five people. The charges included public order offenses and suspicion of racial hatred. The protests began on Tuesday after it was revealed that a property on a family estate near a primary school had been converted into a house of multiple occupancy (HMO) for illegal migrants. An HMO is a house occupied by at least three people who are not from the same family or household but share basic facilities. This coincided with news that the British government intended to use a nearby military base to house 3,750 migrants. In response to the protests, the police escorted five hooded males out of the property. The police’s response was criticized as heavy-handed while police officials rejected the characterization, stating their response was necessary to maintain order. “There were some skirmishes, it was a spirited protest but I didn’t see any violence… We fully support their right to protest. I’d encourage people to protest peacefully and most of what I saw yesterday was peaceful,” said local Reform UK councillor Scott Hussey.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “I don’t know what people in the government actually expect. If you put these illegal immigrants into houses in the middle of housing estates, close to schools, next door to people, into communities who have absolutely no say in it, then I think it’s a pretty reasonable expectation that the people there will not be happy about it and will want to make a fuss. The fact is we’re getting about a thousand-a-week of these people coming in on small boats and we’re running out of places to put them.” – Colin Sutton, Norfolk Police and Crime Commissioner.
🎯 IMPACT: The recent unrest highlights growing public frustrations over the British government’s migrant placement policies. This is just one of several protests of its kind to take place across the country. The fact that the migrants had to be escorted out of the building underscores the scale of public anger. The revelation that the decision was unannounced suggests that the government is aware that its placement policies are unpopular but cannot or will not change them. This further shows the extent of immigration the country has received in recent years.
📺 FLASHBACK: Back in July, Sutton was elected as Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk in the first election victory of its kind for Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party.

Migrants Heading for Britain Swarm French Trains to Reach New Coastal Launch Sites.

Migrant crossings to Britain are expected to rise as smugglers adapt their tactics, and favorable weather conditions persist in the English Channel.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Hundreds of migrants have reportedly been seen traveling by trains and buses from Calais and Dunkirk along France’s northern coastline, where people-smuggling gangs have increasingly launched small boats towards Britain from further and further away to avoid heightened enforcement along traditional crossing routes.
📺 DETAIL: Migrants are reportedly able to travel in large groups without ticket checks or intervention from French authorities frequently, and favorable weather conditions could lead to another wave of Channel crossings in the coming days. Smuggling networks have also expanded their operations by using larger inflatable boats capable of carrying more than 150 migrants. The developments come as the British Labour government’s “one-in, one-out” migrant return agreement with France faces scrutiny after reports that nearly 50 migrants returned under the scheme have since re-entered Britain. Home Office figures show that 1,087 migrants were returned across the English Channel between August 4 last year and June 30, representing four percent of the 27,920 people who crossed the Channel illegally during the same period. A larger number were sent to Britain from France, for an overall net increase in migrants.
🎯 IMPACT: The ongoing crossings strain is straining border resources, highlighting the limitations of the Labour government’s current policies. New Prime Minister Andy Burnham insists there has been a decrease in crossings compared to previous years, but he has had to acknowledge the need for more action, as over 2,000 migrants crossed in just two weeks after he took office.
📺 FLASHBACK: The “one-in, one-out” deportation deal was introduced to deter illegal crossings, but appears to have comprehensively failed, as it only covers a small number of migrants, more migrants are being sent across the Channel than are returned, and dozens of returnees have simply come back to Britain on another boat.

Donations to Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s Labour Party Collapse by 84 Percent.

The governing Labour Party’s latest financial report has revealed that donations fell drastically between in 2025, placing pressure on new Prime Minister and Labour Party leader Andy Burnham.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Funding for the United Kingdom’s governing Labour Party fell by over 80 percent in 2025.
📺 DETAIL: On Thursday, it was revealed that donations to the Labour Party fell by 84 percent in 2025 compared to the year prior. This represents the biggest drop-off among the three main parties. Donations to Olukemi “Kemi” Badenoch’s Conservative Party fell by 46 percent, while donations to the Liberal Democrats, a progressive liberal party that supports re-joining the European Union and open borders, fell by 65 percent. Donations to “Count Binface,” the novelty candidate currently contesting Reform UK leader Nigel Farage in the Clacton by-election, fell by 93 percent. These figures detailing the Labour Party’s financial collapse come just weeks into new Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s tenure. Despite experiencing a momentary “Burnham Bounce” in the polls, the party still trails Nigel Farage’s Reform UK, which experienced a 290 percent increase in funding between 2024 and 2025. Despite extensive media coverage, Zack Polanski’s far-left Green Party only increased donations by eight percent in the same period. The Labour Party secured £6.4m (~$8.6m) in donations. In contrast, Reform secured £22.8m (~$30.6m). The Conservatives received £15.2m (~$20.4m), the Greens received £2.7m (~$3.6m), and the Liberal Democrats received £2.6m (~$3.5m).
🎯 IMPACT: These findings likely reflect the widespread dissatisfaction with the current Labour-controlled British government. Since entering office in July 2024, under the leadership of former Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, the party has declined in the polls due to unpopular economic policies, high-profile scandals, and the ongoing illegal immigration crisis. These figures also suggest a movement away from the two major parties: Labour and the Conservatives, the latter of which also experienced a significant drop in donations. By contrast, the figures show growing confidence in Nigel Farage’s Reform UK.

DIRTY TRICKS EXCLUSIVE: Afghan Migrants Paid to Campaign in Clacton, Against Farage, by Labour/Green Donor.

Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, discovered Afghan migrants being paid to distribute anti-Nigel Farage material in Clacton, where the Reform UK party leader is fighting a parliamentary by-election.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Afghan migrants were found distributing anti-Nigel Farage material in the Clacton-on-Sea constituency (electoral district), where the Reform UK party leader is contesting a parliamentary by-election (special election), by Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse.
📰 DETAIL: In a video report shared on X (formerly Twitter), Kassam explained he had been campaigning in Clacton with Farage and Reform when they “stumbled upon two recent Afghan migrants” being paid to deliver copies of Babelfish, an anti-Farage newspaper, by Dale Vince, a prominent Labour and Green Party donor. Kassam added that the newspaper contained “anti-Farage and anti-Reform messaging from groups like Hope Not Hate,” which previously employed Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s controversial strategy chief, Matthew McGregor. Kassam also stressed that Babelfish is not a registered campaigner in the election, meaning Vince could potentially be breaking electoral law. The Afghans told The National Pulse chief that they were not from Clacton, but Ipswich, which is in an entirely different parliamentary constituency.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “On the campaign trail today in Clacton, we encountered a group of recent Afghan migrants delivering leaflets on behalf of Dale Vince’s anti-Reform Babelfish newspaper. Vince, a Labour and Green Party donor, recently announced he intended to spend money campaigning against Farage, though hasn’t registered as a campaigner in the constituency. Not only is this legally murky, but ethically an obviously huge issue.” – Raheem Kassam
🎯 IMPACT: The involvement of Afghan migrants in distributing campaign materials on behalf of an organization that is not registered as a lawful participant in the Clacton by-election raises serious legal and ethical questions, particularly concerning its unregistered status in the election.

DATA: Nearly 10,000 Referred to UK Counter-Terror Program.

Prevent, the United Kingdom’s counter-terrorism program, saw a sharp rise in referrals last year, marking a decade-long high, sparking concerns about extremism and radicalization.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The United Kingdom’s counter-terrorism program received over 10,000 referrals last year, representing an almost 40 percent increase from 2024.
📺 DETAIL: Prevent, the United Kingdom’s counter-terrorism program, recorded 10,293 referrals as of September 2025, a 39 percent increase from the previous year. In 2024, 9,957 people were referred to Prevent. This represents the highest number of referrals since the program’s creation in 2015. Fifty-six percent related to people with no identified ideology. Twenty percent of the referrals were related to extreme right-wing ideology, eight percent were related to Islamist extremism, eight percent to fascination with mass violence, one percent to Incel extremism, and 0.3 percent related to extreme left-wing ideology. Ethnicity data was provided in 52 percent of cases. The data revealed that 68 percent of referrals were white, 18 percent were Asian, eightpercent black, and seven percent “Other.” Prevent received an 117 percent increase in referrals between January to March 2025 following the mass stabbing in Southport, England, which was carried out by Axel Rudakubana. The Home Office has attributed the rise in referrals to “a number of operational and policy changes and improvements, along with associated training rolled out.”
🎯 IMPACT: Prevent referrals are different from terrorism charges. Somebody referred to Prevent is not necessarily guilty of carrying out a terrorist attack, planning a terrorist attack, or holding to extremist ideology. This is also underscored by the fact that more referrals relate to extreme right ideology than Islamist extremism, even though the overwhelming majority of people convicted of terror-related offenses in the United Kingdom relate to Islamist terrorism. This suggests substantial underreporting of Islamic extremism and overreporting of right-wing extremism to Prevent.
📺 FLASHBACK: This release of Prevent referral data follows the murder of Ann Widdecombe, a former Conservative Member of Parliament and minister turned spokeswoman for Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party. The investigation into Widdecombe’s death was taken over by Counter Terrorism Policing last month, with the case believed to be a “targeted attack” with a likely ideological motive.

Home Office Denies Certifying Neo-Nazi Hired by Kemi Badenoch’s ‘Conservatives.’

Kemi Badenoch’s decision to appoint former neo-Nazi activist Joshua Bonehill-Paine as a counter-extremism advisor to the Conservative Party has brought his counter-extremist credentials into question.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The British Home Office has stated that it does not certify counter-extremism training, contradicting claims made by Joshua Bonehill-Paine, a neo-Nazi turned counter-extremist advisor to Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke “Kemi” Badenoch’s notionally center-right Conservative (Tory) Party.
📺 DETAIL: Bonehill-Paine is a former neo-Nazi activist with a range of criminal convictions, including racially-aggravated harassment of a former Member of Parliament. Bonehill-Paine was set to stand in next year’s local elections in Somerset, England, for the Conservatives. However, following backlash surrounding his criminal past, Bonehill-Paine withdrew his candidacy. However, he was swiftly appointed as an advisor to the Conservative Party’s Culture and Integration Commission, which helps formulate the party’s social policies. Bonehill-Paine will advise the party on combating radicalization and anti-Semitism. Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch defended Bonehill-Paine, saying, “If we are going to stop extremism and anti-Semitism, we are going to need help from those people who were part of the problem, but have now changed and are being part of the solution.” The Conservatives leader’s decision was partially motivated by Bonehill-Paine’s claim that he received “Home Office certification” for “counter-extremism work” after leaving prison. This work supposedly involves traveling “across the country delivering training to police officers, probation services, schools, universities and many other organisations.” However, it has since been revealed that the Home Office does not certify individuals for counter-extremism training, though it funds organizations for such work.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The Home Office does not certify individuals to deliver training… We do provide funding to Civil Society Organisations, who may use individuals to deliver training on preventing extremism that is commissioned by local authorities.” – Home Office statement
🎯 IMPACT: Bonehill-Paine’s appointment has sparked backlash from Jewish community leaders. Reform UK have also been critical of the appointment. “Kemi claims the Tories have changed and they will have a new generation of candidates. It’s now clear what calibre of candidates they will be. Kemi claims to support the fight against antisemitism yet selects a convicted antisemite Nazi as a candidate. The hypocrisy is breathtaking,” said a spokesman for the party. The fact that Bonehill-Paine’s  counter-extremist credentials have since been thrown into doubt makes the appointment even more questionable.
📺 FLASHBACK: In 2014, Bonehill-Paine was convicted of assaulting a police officer, theft, and malicious communications. In 2015, Bonehill-Paine served time in prison for distributing anti-Semitic material. In 2016, Bonehill-Paine was convicted of racially aggravated harassment. “The branch and indeed party are fully aware of my past. Our chairman has been a vocal advocate and has supported me since I became a member of the party. I am very grateful for the support,” said Bonehill-Paine at the time.

Donations to Kemi Badenoch’s ‘Conservative’ Party Crash by Almost 50 Percent.

Kemi Badenoch’s Conservative Party lost almost 50 percent of its donations between the last general election and last year, sparking fears within the party about its financial viability.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Donations to Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke “Kemi” Badenoch’s notionally center-right Conservative (Tory) Party fell by almost 50 percent last year compared to 2024.
📺 DETAIL: According to the party’s official financial reports, the Conservative Party raised £14.97m (~$20.16m) in donations in 2025. This represents a 46.8 percent drop compared to 2024, the year of Britain’s last general election. In 2024, the Conservative Party suffered its worst electoral defeat in history, and the now-governing Labour Party, then led by Sir Keir Starmer, achieved a landslide victory despite a historically low share of the vote for a winning party. Since the general election and the replacement of former leader Rishi Sunak by Badenoch, the Conservative Party’s polling figures have fallen and have remained stagnant. At the same time, support for Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party has skyrocketed, making it by far the most popular right-leaning party with the British electorate.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The numbers showcase that in Kemi Badenoch’s first full year as leader, the year ending in December 2025, the party raised £14.97 million in donations against a total income of more than £30 million. This comes in contrast to the year ending December 2024, where donations came to £28.137 million, against a total income of £50.174 million. The fall in donations is one of 46.8 per cent.” — Oliver Dean, Assistant Editor of ConservativeHome, a news site and blog aligned with the Conservative Party
🎯 IMPACT: While the figures show that the party technically made a profit last year, these figures suggest that the Conservative Party is losing donors. This underscores the shift in interest away from the Conservative Party, which has long been viewed as the only viable right-leaning party in Britain, and towards Reform. These figures are likely to raise questions about Kemi Badenoch’s leadership of the party. The decline in donations underscores the enduring, widespread dissatisfaction with the party, largely due to the party’s refusal to control Britain’s borders while it was in government from 2010 to 2024, despite repeated promises to lower immigration and tackle illegal migration.
📺 FLASHBACK: Earlier this week, Nigel Farage’s party retook the lead in the national opinion polls despite a brief “Burnham Bounce” for the incumbent Labour Party after Andy Burnham entered office, replacing former Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

Farage’s Reform Party Plans World’s Toughest Laws Against Hiring Illegal Migrants.

Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party has unveiled plans to impose some of the world’s toughest penalties on bosses employing illegal migrants, including fines and potential prison sentences for CEOs.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party has pledged to introduce the world’s toughest penalties for businesses that employ illegal migrants if they win Britain’s next General Election, including fines of up to 10 percent of a company’s global revenue and potential prison sentences for chief executives and directors. The proposal, dubbed the Deliveroo Law after a popular DoorDash style delivery service known for employing illegals, would hold senior company officials personally and criminally liable for illegal working, even if they were unaware that employees lacked the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
📺 DETAIL: Reform’s Shadow Home Secretary, Zia Yusuf, said the measures are aimed at ending “soft-touch Britain,” noting that illegal working undercuts British workers, weakens immigration enforcement, and benefits people-smuggling networks. Reform also plans to direct revenue from the fines toward supporting victims of migrant crime and revitalizing Britain’s high streets. Reform would also launch a public “Turkish Barbers tip line” to encourage reports of suspected illegal working and organized crime, which are often centered on Turkish barber shops, vape shops, and other front businesses. Police forces would receive a share of fines collected through successful enforcement.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The Tories and Labour have made Britain the softest-touch country in the world for illegal migrants to undercut British workers.” – Zia Yusuf
🎯 IMPACT: If implemented, the policy could significantly alter how businesses vet employees, with CEOs held personally liable for inadequate checks.
📺 FLASHBACK: In February, Deliveroo confirmed it had terminated 105 accounts linked to illegal workers, following years of media scrutiny on account-sharing practices. Delivery platforms have pledged to tighten checks, but critics argue the measures have not gone far enough.

Top Aide to Prime Minister Andy Burnham Called President Trump a ‘Fascist.’

Kevin Lee, the closest and longest-serving political advisor to new Prime Minister Andy Burnham, called President Donald J. Trump “a fascist” and the worst President ever in posts unearthed by The National Pulse.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: One of Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s closest aides called President Donald J. Trump a “fascist” and blamed him for January 6.
📺 DETAIL: Kevin Lee has served as a political aide to British Prime Minister Andy Burnham for more than 15 years. Lee worked under Burnham during the latter’s failed bids for the Labour Party leadership in 2010 and 2015, as well as serving under Burnham while he was a Shadow Cabinet member. Lee was appointed Director of the Mayor’s Office when Burnham was elected Mayor of Greater Manchester in 2017. Lee advised Burnham throughout the Makerfield by-election. Since Burnham became Prime Minister earlier this month, Lee has been appointed as Special Advisor at Number 10 North, which was created by Prime Minister Burnham as a regional office of Number 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister’s official residence in London. Lee is widely seen as the new Prime Minister’s closest and longest-serving advisor. On January 6, 2021, Lee described President Trump as a “fascist” in a post suggesting that the President had incited Jan. 6. Specifically, Lee posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Terrible scenes from the US. @realDonaldTrump proving what many of us believed, he is a fascist. For the millions of democrats (and the Democrats) in the US, we stand with you. #democracy #Biden.” The year prior, on November 6, 2020, Lee posted: “@SkyNews reporting that @realDonaldTrump is in an ‘awful mood’ – bloody good! Now he knows how he’s made the rest of us feel for the last awful 4 years of the worst Presidency ever. Goodbye Don and good riddance. #byebyeTrump.”
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Terrible scenes from the US. @realDonaldTrump proving what many of us believed, he is a fascist. For the millions of democrats (and the Democrats) in the US, we stand with you. #democracy #Biden.” — Kevin Lee, Special Advisor to Prime Minister Andy Burnham
🎯 IMPACT: This represents another example of a close advisor to the new British Prime Minister being extremely anti-Trump. Lee’s posts echo similar comments made by Matthew McGregor, the Prime Minister’s Head of Strategy at Number 10. McGregor also described President Trump as a fascist, Specifically, McGregor described the President as having “fascist tendencies.” Lee’s post attributing blame for January 6 to President Trump reflects a narrative pushed by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Britain’s public broadcaster. The BBC edited footage of a speech the President gave on January 6 to make it look like he had directly incited the breach of the United States Capitol. The scandal led to the resignations of former BBC Director-General Tim Davie and CEO of BBC News Deborah Turness.

New UK Foreign Sec Ducks Questions on Smearing Trump as an ‘Idiot, Racist, and Misogynist.’

The United Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband was pressed on his past comments about President Donald J. Trump ahead of his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband avoided a question asking whether he still views President Donald J. Trump as an “idiot, a racist and a misogynist” in a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
📺 DETAIL: The meeting between Foreign Secretary Miliband and Secretary of State Rubio took place in Washington, D.C., following a previous meeting between the two during a summit in the Philippines. Miliband was asked by reporters whether he still viewed President Trump as an “idiot, a racist and a misogynist.” Miliband also described the President as “a racist, misogynistic, self-confessed groper” in 2016. The Foreign Secretary did not provide an answer. Instead, he replied: “We are looking forward to our meeting.” The meeting between the two will also include discussions on reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to stabilize global energy markets, as well as addressing the Ukraine war and the war in Gaza.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “I am greatly looking forward to my second meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in which we will discuss the ongoing work to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and secure a lasting ceasefire, which is essential to ease cost-of-living pressures on British families,” said Miliband ahead of the meeting.
🎯 IMPACT: Miliband’s past comments are not insignificant, especially since the Foreign Secretary himself has repeatedly conceded that the United Kingdom’s relationship with the United States is vital. The Trump administration expressed concerns about new Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s decision to appoint Miliband as Foreign Secretary. “The Trump administration took the extraordinary step of warning the new Prime Minister that the United States would view the appointment of ‘red diaper’ baby and self-described socialist Ed Miliband as very injurious to the ‘special relationship’,” said War Room host Stephen K. Bannon nearer the time. Miliband, known as “Red Ed” in Britain, was heavily criticized for his dogmatic support for net zero ideology while serving as Energy Secretary, despite Britain’s extremely high energy prices. This suggests that Miliband must prove to the Trump administration that his views have changed and that he’s willing to be a productive partner.
