Hotels for UK Boat Migrants Now Cost $10 Million a Day.

The cost of hosting asylum seekers, at taxpayer expense, in hotels across the United Kingdom is now around £8 million (~$10 million) per day, with waves of illegals being ferried to England from safe European Union (EU) countries.

The Home Office revealed the figure in its annual accounts, which shows a rise of millions of pounds per day compared to just last year, when it was already considered remarkably high.

Migrant boat crossings in the English Channel were first declared a “major incident” in 2018, but a series of promises to stop them using new Brexit powers — by turning boats back, or by transferring migrants to Rwanda — have all gone undelivered, with crossings increasing from hundreds to thousands to tens of thousands year on year.

While politicians and the media have focused much of the nation’s attention on the cost of hosting boat migrants in hotels, as well as a failing effort to lodge a handful on a barge (which they would still be free to leave at will), the true cost of accommodating them is far higher than the headline figure of £8 million a day.

Tens of thousands have been allocated so-called “dispersal accommodation” – mostly apartments and houses – at a cost of well over half a billion pounds a year.

Reverse brexit

UK Establishment Preparing to Reverse Brexit.

The globalist establishment is preparing to fully reverse Brexit, never properly delivered in the first instance, by signing the United Kingdom up to “associate membership” of an expanded European Union (EU) concocted by France and Germany.

The proposals for a “four-tiered” European Union will reportedly be revealed as President Emmanuel Macron, currently in his second and final term, meets with Sir Keir Starmer, leader of the left-wing Labour Party which is widely expected to regain power from the Conservative (in name only) Party in Britain’s next general election, to be held no later than January 2025.

The outer tiers will cater to European states that are not “willing and/or able to join the EU in the foreseeable future” – a category that will cater to not only Britain but also polities such as Serbia, Kosovo, and possibly Ukraine, which have been unable to secure full membership due to territorial disputes and issues with corruption, amongst other problems.

“Associate membership” of the EU would entail making payments into the EU budget and submission to EU judges, in exchange for Single Market membership. This would of necessity entail submission to the Single Market’s regulations and Free Movement migration regime.

Nigel Farage has predicted that Sir Keir, a fierce EU loyalist during the Brexit referendum, will see to it that Brexit persists “in name only” within two years of a Labour government, in large part because the Conservatives have refused to meaningfully diverge from the bloc.

EU judges currently retain jurisdiction over Northern Ireland, for example, and the European Court of Human Rights – technically a non-EU body, but one all prospective EU members are required to submit to – retains jurisdiction over the entire country.

strength of hijab

England’s Second City ‘Unveils’ 16-Foot, ‘Strength of Hijab’ Statue.

England’s second-largest city is erecting a 16-foot tall statue weighing a metric ton and depicting a woman in a hijab, in celebration of Islamic veils that are often compulsory in Muslim-majority states.

“The Strength of the Hijab is a piece which represents women who wear hijabs of the Islamic faith, and it’s really there because it’s such an underrepresented part of our community, but such an important one,” said sculptor Luke Perry, a white, non-Muslim man.

“They need visibility, it’s so important,” he added.

The sculpture shows a grim-faced, strangely geometric, and mostly disembodied woman wrapped in a headscarf, perched upon a plinth reading: “It is a woman’s right to be loved and respected whatever she chooses to wear.”

It has drawn criticism online because wearing the hijab, or more restrictive face veils such as the niqab and burqa, as often not a choice in Islamic countries, with women facing arrest for wearing hijabs improperly or not at all, or vigilante attacks by Muslim men throwing acid in their faces.

While the BBC and other establishment media outlets have avoided disclosing the cost of the piece, local reports say an estimated £25,000 (~$31,000) was spent on it. Legacy West Midlands, which commissioned the sculpture, is a registered “charity” that receives much of its funding from the state, including around £130,000 (~$160,000) in government grants and contracts over the last three years.

Birmingham is one of several English cities where the white British population is now in a minority, along with the capital of London, Manchester, and Leicester.

pride parades

UK Govt: ‘Police Are There To Prevent Crime, Not Dance at Pride Parades’.

British Home Secretary Suella Braverman reminded the police that their job is to prevent crimes from taking place rather than to dance around at pride events in the House of Commons on Monday afternoon.

Braverman – known for her fierce rhetoric rather than action on issues including immigration and policing – responded to a question from her fellow “Conservative” Member of Parliament Nick Fletcher regarding police officers returning to the streets instead of “promoting unscientific ideologies,” to which she stated:

“We pay the police to fight crime, whether that’s a focus on anti-social behavior, the nuisance bikers or burglaries as he’s mentioned. They are there to keep people safe Mr. Speaker. We do not pay them to wave flags at parades, to dance with drag queens or to campaign. That’s why I finally ended all association with Stonewall at the Home Office and why I expect all PCCs and Chief Constables to focus on cutting crime and rebuilding confidence, not playing politics.”

– Suella Braverman, September 2023.

While the British police continue to take political stances on social issues, crime across the country has skyrocketed. A mere one-in-six criminal offenses involving a knife, including those involving murders, rapes, and grievous bodily harm, resulted in a prosecution as of last year.

Two Pubs Close Down Every Day in Britain.

An average of over two pubs a day were shuttered in the first half of 2023 in England and Wales, with fully 383 closing down amid high inflation and an energy crisis exacerbated by the net zero agenda and sanctions war with Russia.

Britain’s governing Conservative (Tory) Party previously offered pubs — traditionally one of the central parts of local communities — a 75 percent reduction in local property taxes to help them cope with the damage inflicted by COVID-19 lockdown policies, but this is set to expire in March 2024. Worse still, rates are set to be hiked from next April, parallel with inflation, with real estate company Altus Group estimating this will add six percent to publicans’ bills.

“With energy costs up 80 percent year-on-year in a low-growth, high-inflation and high interest rates environment, the last thing pubs need is an average business rates hike of £12,385 next year,” said a spokesman for the group.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Chancellor of the Exchequer are opposed to reducing the historically high tax burden in the short to medium term.

WATCH: “Conservative” PM Theresa May Says She’s ‘Woke and Proud’.

Former British Prime Minister Theresa May has openly admitted to being a “woke woman” and supporting uncontrolled, mass immigration in an interview, which confirms her staunchly held left-wing convictions despite claiming to be a “conservative.”

May, charged with overseeing Britain leaving the European Union for several years, despite not having supported it herself, made the remarks in an interview with another liberal “conservative” former leader of the Scottish Conservative Party, Ruth Davidson, for the Murdoch-owned British newspaper The Times, in which she was asked whether she was “woke”:

“‘I am, yeah! It’s a bit like being asked in the old days, was I a feminist? Well, I wore a T-shirt which said ”This is what a feminist looks like…”’

– Theresa May, September 2023.

She was then quizzed on her views about mass immigration to the United Kingdom, whereupon she explained: “I’ve always said that immigration has been good for the country.”

“I think the concern that people have is always around numbers and often, actually, the people who feel most about this issue are people who see least migration in their own communities,” she added. Theresa May presided over a surge in migration to the UK between 2016 and 2019, with 2018 seeing a, then, record high of 825,000 people entering the country.

Chairman of the Bow Group, the world’s oldest conservative think tank, Ben Harris-Quinney, took to X (formerly Twitter) following the May’s remarks, arguing, “[e]very single Tory leader when out of office reveals themselves to be to the left of [Tony] Blair, it’s only a shame a handful of people still don’t see that reality whilst they are in office.”

Publishers Discourage Submissions From White, Able-Bodied People.

Book publishers and literary agents are actively discouraging submissions from white and “able-bodied” people, preferring instead to support those from perceived “marginalized” or “under-represented” backgrounds, an investigation has found.

A number of authors have even claimed they have become “ostracized” from the industry as they are not black or an ethnic minority, disabled, or LGBT. One example is Ash Literary, which states explicitly on its submissions page:

“We are actively seeking voices that have historically been underrepresented, particularly with tropes that are often said to be “over done”. For example, we are not interested in stories about white able bodied WW2 evacuees but would welcome that story from a disabled, LGBTQ+ or BIPOC [Black, Indigenous, and Other People of Color] perspective.”

Another is the Good Literary Agency, which even receives funding the British government to represent “British writers from backgrounds under-represented in UK publishing” and demands that job applicants understand societal issues in publishing and structural inequalities from “BAME [Black and Minority Ethnic], working class, disabled, and LGBTQ+ being under-represented.”

In recent days, top law firms were also found to be actively discriminating against white employees or applicants, with new legal challenges set to confront the practice already underway.

Boris Johnson Ex-Advisor is Setting Up a New UK Political Party.

Dominic Cummings, Boris Johnson’s former right-hand man, is planning to launch a new right-leaning political party to rival what he calls the “rotten Tory [Conservative] horrorshow”.

Cummings – no stranger to controversy – argues British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has effectively given up governing the country, squandered the Conservative Party’s 80-seat majority in the House of Commons, and has “no message, no political strategy worth spit and no grip on power.”

The new party’s policies would include being tougher on crime, security, and immigration, reducing taxes for working people, slashing the size of the British welfare state, closing loopholes that benefit the wealthy, and renouncing the European Convention on Human Rights.

“The goal is to win in 2028, govern for two terms and then self-destruct as a legal entity, so the project is credibly hardwired to be fundamentally different to a normal party,” Cummings stated, adding that he has already begun discussing the launch with sitting Members of Parliament and donors.

Cummings is perhaps best known for his role in the “Vote Leave” campaign during the 2018 Brexit Referendum and then featuring as Boris Johnson’s Chief Advisor between 2019 and 2020. He was eventually forced out of his position by Johnson’s meddlesome wife, Carrie Symonds.

UK Parliament Staff Arrested for China Spying.

Two men have been arrested under the UK‘s Official Secrets Act on suspicion of spying for China. One of the men, in his 30s, was detained in Oxfordshire on March 13, while the other, in his 20s, was arrested in Edinburgh.

The parliamentary researcher at the center of the allegations had links to several senior Conservative Members of Parliament, including security minister Tom Tugendhat and foreign affairs committee chairman Alicia Kearns. The arrests were made by officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command, which is investigating the case.

Searches were conducted at the residential properties of both men as well as at a third address in east London. The men were held at a south London police station and have been bailed until early October. Security minister Tom Tugendhat reportedly had no contact with the researcher since before he became security minister in September 2020. Foreign affairs committee chairman Alicia Kearns declined to comment but highlighted the need to ensure the work of the authorities was not jeopardized. The Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China pressure group expressed concern at the infiltration of the UK parliament and called the allegations a serious escalation.

WATCH: New UK SecDef Doesn’t Know How Many Ranks There Are in the Army.

Grant Shapps, the newly appointed British Secretary of State for Defence, does not know how many ranks there are in the nation’s armed forces, requiring a news presenter to inform him on live television.

Shapps appeared on the Rupert Murdoch-owned Sky News on Wednesday morning, where he was asked by the presenter: “so here’s a question for you: do you know how many ranks there are in the [British] army?”

“Not off the top of my head,” Shapps responded before going on to suggest that it’s somehow uncommon for serving British Defense Ministers to have knowledge about their position: “It’s not usual in democracy where we actually pride ourselves on having civilians run all elements of government, including our military, to have people from military backgrounds.”

The presenter was forced to tell him the number was 12.

Shapps, elected to the British parliament as a “Tory modernizer,” first came to national attention after hiding the fact he used several pseudonyms to sell dodgy computer software while working as a Member of Parliament in the early 2010s.
