World Leaders Pay Homage to President-Elect Trump.

World leaders are starting to pay homage to Donald J. Trump as U.S. President-elect following his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday. As of the time of publication, the Democratic nominee has not officially conceded—but President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom, and others have already recognized the inevitable.

UKRAINE.

Zelensky, likely fearing the unconditional, open-ended support of military and state apparatus by U.S. taxpayers may end under a Trump-Vance administration, was particularly effusive, saying, “Congratulations to [Donald Trump] on his impressive election victory!”

“I recall our great meeting with President Trump back in September… I appreciate President Trump’s commitment to the ‘peace through strength’ approach in global affairs,” he continued, adding, “We look forward to an era of a strong United States of America under President Trump’s decisive leadership” and pleading that Ukraine “rel[ies] on continued strong bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States.”

ISRAEL.

Prime Minister Netanyahu, embroiled in a multi-sided war with Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Iran, penned a note to Trump “in true friendship,” congratulating him on “history’s greatest comeback!”

“Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America,” he continued, adding: “This is a huge victory!”

BRITAIN.

Britain’s relatively new Labour government has also moved quickly to congratulate Trump, having previously earned his ire by sending staffers to campaign for Vice President Harris.

“Congratulations, President-elect Trump, on your historic election victory,” said Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, claiming he “look[s] forward to working with you in the years ahead” with Britain and America continuing to be “the closest of allies.”

Starmer’s Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, also penned a groveling note of congratulations, saying, “The UK has no greater friend than the U.S., with the special relationship being cherished on both sides of the Atlantic for more than 80 years. We look forward to working with you and JD Vance in the years ahead.”

While Trump was in his first term and Labour was in opposition, Lammy regularly railed against Trump, opposing constructive diplomatic relations with his government and alleging he was “a racist KKK and Nazi sympathiser.”

Many speculate his Cabinet position will no longer be tenable once Trump is inaugurated, given this history and the importance of maintaining strong British-American relations.

EUROPEAN UNION.

France’s President Emmanuel Macron, crippled by snap legislative elections in which both the populist right and far left earned more votes than his faction, says he is “Ready to work together as we did for four years…With respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity.”

Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz, whose Social Democratic Party increasingly faces electoral oblivion, offered muted congratulations to Trump and said that “Germany and the U.S. have been working together successfully promoting prosperity and freedom on both sides of the Atlantic” and “will continue to do so for the wellbeing of our citizens.”

However, the America First leader was greeted with great enthusiasm in Central Europe, where Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban and his Slovak ally Prime Minister Robert Fico both hailed his reelection.

“The biggest comeback in US political history!” Orban cheered. “Congratulations to President [Donald Trump] on his enormous win. A much needed victory for the World!”

Poland’s President Andrzej Duda, who hosted Trump for a state visit during his first term, was also enthusiastic, saying, “Congratulations, Mr. President [Donald Trump]! You made it happen!”

The EU is Developing Its Own CIA.

A report produced by the European Union (EU) has called on the bloc to create a new Europe-wide spy agency to fight against sabotage and other foreign threats. Former Finnish President Sauli Niinistö submitted the report to the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

Niinistö calls on the EU to create a “fully-fledged intelligence cooperation service at the EU level that can serve both the strategic and operational needs ” and adds that a network is also needed to prevent the sabotage of critical infrastructure.

President Von der Leyen reacted to the report by saying, “We should build on improving the flow of information, information gathering, and intelligence gathering.”

It is unknown what form an EU-wide intelligence agency would take, as member states currently run their own intelligence operations. Cooperation among Western intelligence is not unknown, but a single Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) style entity would pose questions around accountability to elected national governments.

In recent months, Russia, which the EU sanctions, has been blamed for alleged acts of sabotage across Europe, including allegations that Russians planted bombs in packages meant to be shipped by air.

America is Bombing Syria Again, By The Way.

The U.S. military executed airstrikes on multiple Islamic State camps in Syria earlier this week, resulting in the deaths of as many as 35 militants, according to a statement from U.S. Central Command released Wednesday. The operation, which took place on Monday evening, targeted sites within Syria’s central desert region—specifically aiming at locations connected to senior Islamic State leaders.

The recent airstrikes are part of an ongoing effort by U.S. forces, in collaboration with Iraqi forces, to counteract the lingering influence of the Islamic State group across the region. Earlier operations were also conducted in Iraq, focusing on dismantling Islamic State strongholds and preventing their resurgence.

Pentagon officials emphasize that despite the continued threats posed by the Islamic State, the group no longer maintains the extensive control it once had. At its peak nearly a decade ago, ISIS managed to seize significant territories in both Syria and Iraq. However, the group’s caliph and physical caliph were both destroyed by actions undertaken by former President Donald J. Trump.

U.S. military operations in the area persist as the Islamic State group, though weakened, retains the ability to destabilize the region through sporadic attacks.

European Populist Elected President in Omen of Impending Trump Victory?

A populist has been elected as Parliament President in Austria for the first time ever following national elections in September. Freedom Party of Austria (FPOe) lawmaker Walter Rosenkranz won the votes of 100 of the 183 deputies in the assembly. Only the Greens unanimously opposed him, while other parties allowed their members to vote freely.

The position is the second-highest office of state after the Federal President and is traditionally awarded to the party that comes first in national elections. The FPOe won in September, beating the notionally center-right Austrian People’s Party (OeVP) into second place.

However, leftist Federal President Alexander van der Bellen has not given the FPOe and its leader, Herbert Kickl, a chance to attempt to form a government despite their victory. Instead, current Chancellor Karl Nehammer of the OeVP, who regards the vaccine skeptic Kickl as a “conspiracy theorist,” has been tasked with trying to form a new government.

ESTABLISHMENT COLLUSION.

Kickl commented on the situation on Facebook, saying to voters, “This may seem like a slap in the face for many of you. But I promise you, the final word hasn’t been spoken yet.” The FPOe and Kickl ran on one of the most anti-mass migration platforms in Europe, with Kickl openly supporting a policy of remigration.

The situation in Austria is part of a broader trend in Europe in which populist parties have won the largest number of votes but have been shut out of governing as no establishment parties will work with them. RINO-like center-right parties like the OeVP generally prefer to form coalitions with green and socialist parties.

In France, for instance, despite Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) being the largest single party in the National Assembly, far-left and globalist parties worked together to deny populists key positions in the legislature.

Islamist Preacher Yells ‘Allah, Burn the Jews’ During Brussels Rally.

A rally marking the anniversary of the October 7 massacres in Israel in the heart of the European Union (EU) saw an unidentified Islamist preacher allegedly yell, “Allah, burn the Jews!” The rally, which took place on October 7 in the EU capital of Brussels, Belgium, in front of the city’s Stock Exchange, was organized by the pro-Palestinian group United for Palestine.

Video has emerged of the rally, with several conservative Belgian politicians speaking out, including lawmaker Michael Freilich of the New Flemish Alliance, who introduced several questions to the Belgian parliament regarding the incident.

Sam van Rooy of the populist Vlaams Belang party also spoke out on the incident in parliament, saying, “According to research, more than half of the Muslims in Belgium have anti-Semitic ideas.”

“The Quran is at least as anti-Semitic as Mein Kampf. According to the Quran and the Hadith, Christians and unbelievers are also inferior beings who must be oppressed and killed,” he added.

While the preacher who called for the killing of Jews was a speaker at the event, the identity of the man is unknown, and the organizers have refused to tell local media. They did, however, condemn “hatred towards the Jewish people” in a statement.

The Belgian League Against Anti-Semitism announced they would be referring the issue to the public prosecutor’s office, calling for criminal charges to be brought against the preacher and others.

Since Hamas slaughtered over 1,000 civilians on October 7, 2023, in Israel, anti-Semitism in Europe has surged, with Jews in countries like France expressing fear for their future.

Lloyd Austin Took a Surprise Trip to Ukraine Today, Handing Another $400M to Zelensky.

On Monday, Biden-Harris Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin made an unannounced visit to Kiev to reinforce the U.S. government’s support for Ukraine in the face of Russian advances. This marks Austin’s third trip to Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, and follows a meeting in Germany between Joe Biden and allied leaders aimed at consolidating support for Ukraine.

During this visit, the Pentagon announced a new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine—at a time when many Americans are still struggling to secure federal support in the wake of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.

The shipments to Ukraine include ammunition for HIMARS rocket systems, armored vehicles, and anti-tank weapons. It follows over $61 billion already extended.

Recent Russian advances include reclaiming territory in the Kursk region of Russia, subject to a Ukrainian counter-invasion intended to distract advancing Russian forces, and territorial gains encroaching on the critical logistical and economic hub of Pokrovsk in the eastern Donbas region. Capturing Pokrovsk and nearby coke mines would sever vital Ukrainian supply lines and cripple the Ukrainian steel industry, a pillar of the national economy.

Blackmail: Zelensky Threatens to Find Nukes If He’s Not Allowed Into NATO.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has threatened to acquire nuclear weapons if NATO refuses to accept Ukraine as a member, which would likely trigger an open war between the West and Russia due to the military alliance’s mutual defense clause. Speaking to a conference of European Union (EU) leaders in Brussels, Belgium, on Thursday, Zelensky stated that nuclear rearmament is the only other option for this country if NATO membership is denied.

“What way out do we have? Either Ukraine will have nuclear weapons, or we have to be in some kind of alliance,” Zelensky insisted, claiming he would greatly prefer to join NATO. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine had nuclear weapons on its territory, but it gave them up in 1994 as part of the Budapest Memorandum on Ukrainian sovereignty.

Zelensky also stated that he did not understand concerns from those in the United States that Ukraine joining the military alliance could drag NATO into a war with Russia. “An invitation is a preventive step to show that it is not Putin who is changing the world,” he said—although a full-scale war between Ukraine and Russia is already active.

Zelensky also revealed that he told President Donald J. Trump that he would pursue nuclear weapons if Ukraine did not join NATO during the pair’s meeting last month.

Trump has proposed a peace plan for the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and he states he will end the war if elected next month. Zelensky has largely rejected Trump’s peace proposals in the past, criticizing Trump openly and visiting the United States to, in effect, campaign for Kamala Harris.

UK Says Russia Planted Bomb on Courier Plane.

Authorities in the United Kingdom suspect that Russia may have planted an incendiary bomb on a courier airplane after the alleged device caught fire at a warehouse in the city of Birmingham, England, this week. British counter-terrorism police say they are investigating the incident, which saw a suspicious fire break out at a warehouse belonging to the courier DHL. The package is believed to be linked to Russia.

The investigation comes just weeks after another case in Leipzig, Germany, in which German domestic intelligence suggested that another DHL air freight package that caught fire could be linked to Russia.

Thomas Haldenwang, the head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, told German lawmakers this week that the package caught fire before the flight took off. He added that if the package had detonated on board the plane in flight, it would have likely crashed.

Reports suggest that the only reason the device did not explode on board the plane is that it was delayed.

“We are observing aggressive behavior by the Russian intelligence services [that is] putting people’s lives at risk. It affects all areas of our free society,” Haldenwang said.

Western authorities have suggested Russia may have also been behind an attempted assassination plot directed at the CEO of Germany’s Rheinmetall, a major manufacturer of weapons provided to Ukraine. Details of Russia’s alleged involvement in the incidents remain scarce. However, Russia has been accused of election interference and many other plots in the past, some of which turned out to be fake or overblown.

Those plots included the so-called “Russian collusion” hoax linked to President Donald J. Trump or allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 Brexit referendum.

Youth Shifts Right: Young German Men Embrace Conservative Ideals.

A new survey suggests that German young people are gravitating increasingly to the right, with support among young men in particular surging. The Shell Youth Study 2024, which examined responses from 2,509 people born between 1998 and 2012, found that 25 percent of young men describe themselves as either ‘somewhat right-wing’ or ‘right-wing.’ This marks a rise from under 20 percent in 2019.

In contrast, only 11 percent of young women identified with the right, consistent with figures from the previous survey. The study also revealed that 72 percent of young women support a diverse society, compared to 56 percent of young men. Additionally, issues such as feminism and veganism showed higher concern among young women than among young men.

The shift towards right-wing views among young German men is aligned with increasing support for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. A survey earlier this year showed the AfD gaining popularity among the 14 to 29-year-old age group. Recent state elections in Thuringia and Saxony confirmed this trend, with the AfD attracting significant youth support.

In neighboring Austria, the populist Freedom Party (FPOe) is the most popular party among all age brackets. The Austrian youth vote helped the party win last month’s national election.

The Shell survey also found rising populist sentiments among young Germans. In total, 55 percent agreed that state policies do not personally benefit them, while 48 percent believe the government prioritizes migrants over native citizens in need.

Major concerns among young people include the fear of broader conflict in Europe and economic challenges, with 81 percent worried about war and 67 percent listing poverty as a concern.

The current left-wing coalition government has led Germany to a severe economic downturn. German business giants like Volkswagen are considering shutting down factories amid fears of a back-to-back recession.

Israel Believes It Has Eliminated the Head of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) believe they have eliminated Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Hamas terrorist group and plotter of the October 7, 2023, attacks against the Jewish state, in a military strike in Gaza. Reports indicate DNA testing has confirmed Sinwar’s identity.

In recent months, the Israelis have stepped up retaliatory strikes, beginning with the assassination of senior Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Iran in late July. Yahya Sinwar served as the chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau since August of this year. Along with Haniyeh, he was accused of being a primary plotter of the October 7, 2023, terrorist attacks perpetrated by Hamas against the Jewish state, which saw 1,200 Israelis killed and several hundred—including American citizens—taken hostage.

In late September, the Israelis carried out a massive strike in Lebanon, targeting another Iranian-backed terror group, Hezbollah. Most of the terror organization’s senior leadership, including cleric and Hezbollah secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah, were killed.

ESCALATION LADDER.

Israel’s move against Hamas and Sinwar will likely have deep repercussions throughout the Middle East. In just a handful of months, Iran has seen many of its terror proxies in Lebanon and Gaza wiped out. However, the Islamist regime still maintains its own formidable arsenal. At the start of October, Iran—responding to the elimination of Nasrallah and other senior Hezbollah leaders—rained down rockets, suicide drones, and ballistic missiles on Israel. While most of these weapons were intercepted by defense systems, some hit their targets, damaging military installations.

Responding to the heightened tensions—and an anticipated Israeli counter-strike against Iran following the early October barrage launched by the Islamist regime—the Biden-Harris government has dispatched a number of U.S. soldiers and
Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) systems to Israel. The Pentagon says the THAAD systems are intended to reinforce Israel’s capabilities to intercept Iranian ballistic missiles. However, the increased U.S. presence in the conflict is drawing some concern as a potential—if unintentional—escalation.
