Did Carly Fib on Her Tolerance for Gay Marriage?

Shane, clearly Carly just fibbed. I seldom see her make a mistake, but this is a big one.

It’s hard for me to believe it’s just a mistake on her part. On gay marriage, she has consistently taken a “moderate” stance, earning her a D+ on my report card for candidates’ responses after Obergefell.

She has spoken about religious liberty, but she has never endorsed any concrete action (that I’m aware of and I follow this pretty closely) to protect the bakers, florists, or other gay marriage dissenters whose livelihoods have been attacked.

And remember, she gave this very bad interview on Kim Davis with Hugh Hewitt on September 2. Instead of calling for an accommodation as even Jeb Bush did, Fiorina sided with those who say Davis has to lose her job or give out the licenses.

Carly Fiorina makes us all proud on the life issue, but on gay marriage and religious liberty, she is to the left of not only Ben Carson but even Jeb Bush.
