Nate Silver Accuses Pollsters of Bias.

Election data guru and statistician Nate Silver—the founder of FiveThirtyEight—is accusing major public pollsters of “herding” their survey results to keep President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris within a point or two of each other in the 2024 presidential race. According to Silver, it is statistically irregular for a single pollster to consistently show back-and-forth point leads between candidates, which suggests to him that the public polling firms are manipulating their results.

“I kind of trust pollsters less,” Silver says on the latest episode of his podcast. “They all, every time a pollster [says] ‘Oh, every state is just plus-one, every single state’s a tie,’ No! You’re f**king herding! You’re cheating!”

“Your numbers aren’t all going to come out at exactly one-point leads when you’re sampling 800 people over dozens of surveys,” Silver adds.

One pollster who especially drew Silver’s ire is Emerson College, which he suspects of herding most of their final run of polls. He vented, “You are lying! You’re putting your f**king finger on the scale!”

“Herding” is when a pollster uses their own and others’ prior polls to model or inform their current surveys—artificially creating a tighter contest than what the reality may be.

Currently, Silver’s own model has Trump at just over a 55 percent chance of winning the 2024 presidential election. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris is at 44.2 percent odds of victory.

Additionally, Silver appears to believe there is an increasing chance of a split in the so-called ‘Blue Wall’ for Democrats—which includes Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. If Pennsylvania falls to Trump and the Republican nominee sweeps the Sun Belt states, it is almost certain he will win the election.

BREAKING: GA Supreme Court Rules Absentee Ballots Received After Election Day Will NOT Be Counted.

The Georgia Supreme Court has reversed a lower court decision to extend the state’s absentee ballot deadline from November 5 to November 8 after Cobb County election officials failed to send the ballots to around 3,000 voters in a timely manner. Last week, a Cobb County judge unilaterally extended the election date for impacted voters in contravention of state and federal law.

“Upon consideration of the Emergency Motion for Supersedeas of Appellants The Republican National Committee and Georgia Republican Party, Inc., as well as the briefs filed by the parties and the amicus curiae, Appellants’ emergency motion for supersedeas is GRANTED,” Georgia’s high court wrote in their decision. The court adds: “Consistent with OCGA § 21-2-386, the Cobb County Board of Elections and Registration (the “Board”) may count only those absentee ballots received by the statutory deadline of 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 5, 2024.”

The ruling directs Cobb County election officials to sequester any ballots received after the November 5 deadline, emphasizing that they are not to be included in the county. Pursuant to Georgia state election law, the ballots are to be preserved until the court orders them destroyed.

Republican National Committee co-chairman Michael Whatley hailed the decision as a win for election integrity. “HUGE election integrity victory in Georgia,” Whatley stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter). He continued: “Democrat-run Cobb County wanted to accept 3,000 absentee ballots AFTER the Election Day deadline. We took this case to the Georgia Supreme Court.”

“We just got word that we WON the case. Election Day is Election Day — not the week after,” he added.

Missouri Sues Biden-Harris DOJ Over Election Interference.

Missouri’s Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft and Attorney General Andrew Bailey are suing the Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ) over allegations that the federal government is interfering in the state’s election process. The lawsuit claims the DOJ is dispatching unauthorized monitors to polling locations in St. Louis in contravention of several federal statutes and the Supreme Court’s Shelby County v. Holder decision.

“To secure elections, Missouri exercised that traditional authority by enacting a law that strictly limits who, besides voters, can be present in a polling location,” the court filing states, adding: “Poll monitors employed by DOJ are not on that list. Yet without specifically citing any federal authority authorizing its actions, DOJ announced on Friday November 1 its intent to displace Missouri law and place unauthorized poll monitors in polling locations in the City of St. Louis.”

Ashcroft and Bailey note in the filing that the Biden-Harris DOJ attempted a similar move during the 2022 midterm elections. However, the DOJ reversed its decision after Ashcroft argued in a letter that they lacked statutory authority.

“No one is above the law,” the Missouri Secretary of State said in a statement on Monday. He added: “The law clearly and specifically limits who may be in polling places and this action by the DOJ is not allowed. Once again the federal government is attempting to illegally interfere in Missouri’s elections.”

“Two years ago, we met with the DOJ. We showed them the law and explained that they have no jurisdiction to interfere in Missouri elections. Now they are doing the same thing; trying to go through the back door by contacting local election officials and making false jurisdictional claims for access rather than contacting my office directly,” Ashcroft continued before concluding: “It would be highly inappropriate for federal agents to violate the law by intimidating Missouri voters and harassing poll workers.”

Leftist Commentator Threatens to Kill Herself On Air if Trump Wins.

Progressive “comedian” and podcaster Francesca Fiorentini is illustrating just how extreme the leftist meltdown may be if President Donald J. Trump wins the 2024 election. During a recent appearance on The Sun‘s ‘Never Mind the Ballots’ with host Harry Cole, Fiorentini darkly joked she’d “drink cyanide on air and just podcast into the night” if Trump bests Vice President Kamala Harris.

When Cole pressed what the progressive left will actually do in reaction to a Trump victory, Fiorentini stressed they’d keep fighting—though she demurred when pressed if she would accept Trump as the legitimate president. The leftist comedian argued that resisting Trump and his judicial nominees is the paramount cause for progressives, suggesting Republican abortion laws are killing women.

“Women are dying right now from preventable infections related to miscarriages. Mothers, two women we know this week, died in Texas because they were suffering miscarriages. They had an infection, and they needed treatment immediately,” she claimed, alleging: “They were turned away from emergency rooms in Texas because there was a fetal heartbeat and so no doctor could attend to them until there was no more fetal heartbeat. Those women lost their life.”

“We’re voting for our human rights. Because women all around this country, their lives are in peril,” Fiorentini continued, claiming that women have been reduced to being second-class citizens.

Democrats have sought to turn abortion access into a wedge issue in the 2024 election, coordinating with activists and nonprofits to place abortion rights on several state ballots across the country. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign sought to turn a Georgia woman’s death into an attack line against Trump—even though the woman died from the abortion procedure itself.

What Were Those Ballot Box Fires About?

Authorities in Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, are investigating incidents involving incendiary devices found in ballot boxes, marked with messages supporting Gaza and Hamas. The first occurrence was reported on October 8 in Vancouver, where a device with “Free Palestine” and “Free Gaza” notes was placed in a drop box. In the early hours of this past Monday, additional devices ignited in two more locations—Portland and another in Vancouver—similarly marked “Free Gaza.”

A law enforcement source, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed the messages to the Associated Press. However, both the Portland and Vancouver Police Departments have refrained from commenting, redirecting inquiries to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The federal agency’s Portland office states it is actively investigating these incidents, which are believed to be related. According to police, the incendiary devices were attached externally to the ballot boxes.

The suspect is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years of age, balding with short hair, and reportedly an experienced metalworker. Surveillance footage previously identified the suspect driving a black or dark-colored Volvo S-60, model years 2001 to 2004. The vehicle lacked a front license plate and had an unreadable rear plate.

The October 8 incident resulted in no ballot damage. However, the Portland arson damaged three ballots, while the Vancouver attack affected hundreds. Greg Kimsey, Clark County’s elected auditor, reported that officials retrieved approximately 475 damaged ballots from the Vancouver box, although the exact number of ballots destroyed remains uncertain. Kimsey condemned the acts, labeling them a “direct attack on democracy.”

Clark County sits in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District, which is currently in a heated race between incumbent Representative Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA) and her Republican challenger, Joe Kent. Gluesenkamp Perez narrowly defeated Kent for the seat during the 2022 midterm election.

Harris Camp Implies They’ll Keep Counting Votes Until They Win.

Vice President Kamala Harris‘s presidential campaign is implying they will attempt to force key counties in battleground states to keep counting votes until they attain victory. In a recent press call, a senior Harris campaign official emphasized Democrats would work to ensure they hit their ballot marks in certain localities even if President Donald J. Trump declares victory on election night.

The official, who requested anonymity, said such a move by Trump “won’t work.” They added: “He did this before. It failed.”

The Harris campaign says it is focused on maximizing their base’s turnout and confidence in the closing days of the 2024 election. “We are focused on making sure that all of our voters have the information to get out and vote,” the campaign official said, highlighting efforts to protect the integrity of the voting process amidst what they claim are attempts by Trump to “sow doubt” regarding the election results.

Trump’s campaign, meanwhile, won an important victory in Pennsylvania after Democratic volunteers and local police tried to prematurely shut down lines of voters looking to request an absentee ballot. While not technically “early voting,” Pennsylvania voters are allowed to request an absentee ballot in person, fill it out, and immediately return it. A local court in Bucks County ruled that the absentee process would be kept open for several extra days before November 5.

In Michigan, a Dominion ICX Voter Assist Terminal (VAT) system—which is used to help voters with disabilities mark their ballots—suffered a programming error,  preventing voters from casting split-ticket ballots. This issue is reportedly impacting the same Dominion machine model across the country—though reports indicate election officials have instituted a fix.

Legal Voters Are Being Turned Away Because of Voter Roll Error.

Some Arizona voters say they’re being turned away at their polling location, with election workers informing them that their voter registration has been suspended and that they cannot cast their ballot. The registration issue, brought to light by America First Legal, stems from a data transfer error that flagged 218,000 people on the state’s voter roll as not having proof of citizenship.

While a portion of the voters impacted by the error are potentially noncitizens who cannot legally vote in federal elections, the Arizona Secretary of State’s office acknowledges that many are legal voters. On Friday, a state judge ruled that Secretary of State Adrian Fontes (D) must produce a complete list of the impacted voters to county election officials by Monday.

“County Recorders need the list of 218,000 affected voters to address the issue, but AZ Secretary of State Adrian Fontes stubbornly refuses to share it with them,” America First Legal posted on X (formerly Twitter) after the issue of voters being turned away surfaced on Saturday. The legal group continued: “County recorders need this list. All eligible voters need to be able to vote, and no noncitizens should be able to vote.”

“It’s a win-win solution,” they added.

Earlier this month, The National Pulse reported that the Arizona Secretary of State’s office acknowledged it had discovered over 218,000 individuals on its voter rolls who lacked proof of citizenship at the time of registration. The discrepancy was attributed to data coding issues involving driver’s license information between the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Motor Vehicle Division and the state voter registration databases.

The massive voter registration error was first identified last month when approximately 97,000 voters were found to be listed as full-ballot voters without providing the required citizenship documentation for state elections.

Georgia GOP Says Fulton County is Violating State Ballot Drop Box Law.

The Georgia Republican Party is alleging Fulton County election officials are keeping certain voter centers open in predominantly Democratic-heavy areas over the weekend to accept absentee ballots in what they say violates Georgia law. In a statement issued late Friday night, the Georgia GOP announced they have filed a lawsuit against Fulton County for violating state election law, which restricts the use of ballot drop boxes after the early voting period ends.

“It has come to our attention that Fulton County election officials are planning to open four election offices this weekend “to accommodate voters seeking to hand-return their absentee ballots,” the Georgia GOP says, continuing: “This is a blatant violation of Georgia law, subsection (d) of Code Section 21-5-385. O.C.G.A § 21-2-382 which states ‘all drop boxes shall be closed when the advance voting period ends.’ This must be stopped immediately and those willfully breaking Georgia law should be held accountable.”

“Fulton County’s patently illegal acts give us no choice but to immediately file suit,” the state Republican Party adds.

Georgia state election mandates an early voting period beginning on “the fourth Monday immediately prior to each primary or election” and ending ” on the Friday immediately prior to each primary, election, or runoff.” However, voters are allowed to mail or hand in absentee ballots at any point “before the day of the primary or election.”

The Georgia GOP’s complaint appears to be contingent on the concern that Fulton County voter centers are acting as ballot drop boxes in all but name and that local election officials are using conflicting statutes to unlawfully extend the early voting period beyond its legally mandated conclusion.

Nevada Election Guru Has a Warning for Democrats.

Early vote data in Nevada suggests the state is slipping away from Democrats and could likely be won by President Donald J. Trump on November 5. The state’s top elections and political analyst Jon Ralston—himself a partisan Democrat—is warning that in prior presidential years, the question has always been whether Republicans can overcome the Democratic Party’s early vote firewall. However, he notes that this year, the question has been reversed.

“This year is different in many ways, but most obviously in that for the first time in The Reid Machine Era (2008 and forward), the Republicans are the ones banking votes in a presidential year, establishing a firewall to try to fend off a Democratic comeback and put themselves in the best position since [George W. Bush] won the state in 2004,” Ralston writes, adding: “So the analysis is the opposite of what it usually is: Can the Dems overcome the deficit and what would that look like in the models?”

The Nevada elections guru contends that while Democrats did see some positive news regarding vote totals in Clark County earlier this week, and they do typically surge votes in the final two days of early voting, it may be too little, too late.

“My gut and the data/history tell me it could be close,” Ralston says, adding: “But I tend to agree with GOP operative Jeremy Hughes, who posits that if the final GOP ballot lead gets much over 25,000, big trouble for Dems in trying to turn around this battleship.”

According to Nevada state election data, the Republican Party currently holds an eight percent statewide turnout edge, with a nearly ten percent edge in crucial Clark Couty. The Democrat firewall in the county is just at 8,600 in Clark.

AZ Must Hand Over List of Voters Who Lack Proof of Citizenship, Rules Judge.

A state judge has ruled that Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes (D) must produce a complete list of over 218,000 registered voters who failed to provide proof of citizenship. According to the order issued by a judge at the Superior Court of Arizona for Maricopa County, Fontes must produce the list by Monday, November 4.

Fontes is now required to release the voter registration data to America First Legal, the plaintiff in the case.

 

Earlier this month, The National Pulse reported that the Arizona Secretary of State’s office acknowledged it had discovered over 218,000 individuals on its voter rolls who lacked proof of citizenship at the time of registration. The discrepancy was attributed to data coding issues involving driver’s license information between the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Motor Vehicle Division and the state voter registration databases.

The massive voter registration error was first identified last month when approximately 97,000 voters were found to be listed as full-ballot voters without providing the required citizenship documentation for state elections. Arizona requires those registering to vote in state-level elections to provide documentary proof of citizenship (DPOC). Consequently, if a voter cannot provide the required information, they’re designated as only being allowed to cast a federal election ballot.

According to the state investigation into the database issue, approximately 79,000 registered Republicans and 61,000 Democrats are impacted. An additional 76,000 voters who are registered under other political parties are also affected.

The potentially erroneous registrations have raised serious concerns about both noncitizen voters casting ballots and legal voters impacted by the error being denied their right to vote. America First Legal’s court win will help ensure public transparency regarding the state’s voter roll database error in the critical battleground state of Arizona.
