Another Election Integrity Win Secured In Georgia Ahead of the 2024 Vote.

The Georgia State Election Board voted three to two to adopt a new rule requiring the total number of votes cast to be reconciled with the total number of voters recorded for an election. If discrepancies in the count are discovered, the issue must be investigated, and a resolution must be found before the vote can be certified.

This marks the latest in a series of victories in Georgia for election integrity activists. Under the new rule, the State Election Board must meet within several days of an election to review precinct returns. In addition, the Board will oversee the compiling of a list of all voters who participated in a given election—including a breakdown by category of those “who voted Election Day In Person, Advanced Voting, Absentee and Provisionally.” The rule also adds that the number of “unique voter IDs from each precinct shall be counted.”

According to the rule, the total number of votes cast in each precinct will then be reconciled with the total number of votes counted in the same precinct. “In any precinct in which the number of ballots exceeds the number of unique votes, the Board shall determine the method of voting in which the discrepancy exists,” the new Georgia rule reads.

If the error cannot be resolved, “the Board shall determine a method to compute the votes justly” according to state law. If fraud is discovered, the Board is required to report its findings to the relevant district attorney.

The National Pulse reported in July that the Georgia State Election Board will also require local election officials to reconcile the number of votes cast with the number of ballots counted at the end of each day of early voting.

Top Obama Economist Slams Kamala’s Pricing Policies as ‘Not Sensible.’

A top economist who served in the Barack Obama government is blasting Kamala Harris‘s price control plan—among other economic proposals—as being “not sensible policy.” Jason Furman, an economist and professor at Harvard University who served as the Deputy Director of the National Economic Council under Obama, is warning that Harris’s proposal to cap the prices of grocery items could pose significant market disruptions and lead to unintended consequences for consumers.

Furman noted that if prices are not allowed to rise with demand, companies could instead choose to constrict supply, meaning fewer goods will enter the market for consumers to purchase. “This not sensible policy and I think the biggest hope is that it ends up being a lot of rhetoric and no reality,” the Harvard economist said in a recent interview.

What Furman details is a scenario that has played out in other countries that have engaged in aggressive price controls, which resulted in a drastic reduction in available food supplies. This has resulted in so-called breadlines in countries like Venezuela and the former Soviet Union.

Even the Washington Posts far-left columnist Catherine Rampell has panned the idea. “At best, this would lead to shortages, black markets and hoarding, among other distortions seen previous times countries tried to limit price growth by fiat,” she wrote. “At worst, it might accidentally raise prices.”

Price controls can also impact the market beyond just the cost of goods. The National Pulse reported last week that when former President Richard Nixon enacted wage and price controls in 1971, the economy went into what has been termed “The Nixon Shock.”

The aftermath saw the U.S. dollar plunge by nearly a third of its value during the 1970s, and stagflation crippled the U.S. economy throughout the decade.

Massive Revision to U.S. Employment Numbers Expected on Wednesday.

The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is expected to issue a major revision to employment numbers on Wednesday. The agency is set to announce its preliminary benchmark revision to the 2024 establishment survey.

Some preliminary estimates and indicators suggest the agency could announce a downward revision of around one million jobs between April 2023 and March 2024.

A downward revision of the one million jobs would suggest that the U.S. job market and economy are far weaker than the corporate media and Biden-Harris government has let on. Further, the revision will likely fuel additional concerns that the BLS and other agencies under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have essentially ‘cooked the books’ to the ultimate detriment of the American people.

Such dramatic revisions are rare but not unprecedented. Earlier this year, the nonpartisan California Legislative Analyst’s Office (LAO) released data showing that all of the state’s reported job gains were, in fact, unrealized. While the state had reported significant job gains throughout the year, the LAO data revealed that the early benchmarks used to estimate job numbers in the state skewed the data in too positive a direction.

The National Pulse reported earlier this month that the July jobs report fell significantly short of estimates, though an unexpected jump in the national unemployment rate may be the more significant data point.

July’s unemployment spike suggests to some economists that the U.S. has entered a recession based on the Sahm Rule, named for a former Federal Reserve economist. The rule dictates a recession is underway if the unemployment rate—based on a three-month moving average—jumps by half a percent from its low in the past year.

Tim Walz Advised Pro-LGBTQ Group That Discussed Sexuality With School Kids.

Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), the Democratic Party’s 2024 vice presidential nominee, was pushing LGBTQ gender ideology over 25 years ago as a Minnesota high school teacher in 1999. Kamala Harris‘s current running mate served as the faculty advisor to a “gay-straight alliance” group described as a “safe space” for students to discuss their sexual orientation.

The gay-straight alliance was born from the efforts of five or six students looking to promote “Gay Awareness Day” in the school. Over 150 students said they’d walk out if a day were dedicated to discussing sexual orientation—something many found inappropriate for the high school environment. However, with Walz‘s assistance, the handful of students were able to force an all-student assembly where their classmates heard guest speakers discuss LGBTQ issues.

Many parents took their children out of school during the event. Addressing Walz‘s role in the student LGBTQ organization, former gay-straight alliance member Laura Matson told the Washington Post that the Minnesota Democrat “was really steadfast in his support.” She said Walz was always available to the handful of students to discuss sexuality and give guidance, insisting: “It was important to learn how to be an ally and how to have conversations around identity at a young age.”

After entering politics, Walz continued his support for the LGBTQ agenda, including signing a sprawling human rights law as governor that removed explicit language barring pedophiles from being considered a protected class in the state.

Additionally, Walz has made Minnesota a so-called ‘transgender sanctuary state’—going so far as to legislatively bar children present in the state and undergoing gender transition from being returned to a parent living out of state.

Tim Walz Lied About His DWI Arrest.

Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), Kamala Harris‘s 2024 running mate, reportedly lied to voters during his initial run for Congress regarding his 1995 arrest for drunk and reckless driving. During the 2006 election, Walz’s campaign claimed that his failed field sobriety test and subsequent arrest over a decade earlier resulted from a misunderstanding due to his hearing loss from National Guard service, claiming that Walz drove himself to the station.

However, the recent release of court transcripts reveals the then-Nebraska resident admitted before a judge to have been drinking when a state trooper stopped him for driving 96 mph in a 55 mph zone. A blood test revealed a blood alcohol level surpassing the legal limit.

Contrary to Walz‘s claim that he drove to the state police station himself, the police report shows a state trooper transported the 2024 Democratic Party vice presidential nominee to a hospital for the blood test and subsequently to the Dawes County Jail, a fact corroborated by the Nebraska State Patrol. The Harris-Walz campaign has not publicly addressed the newest revelations.

Walz’s attempt to obfuscate the details of his 1995 arrest is just one of several instances in which the Minnesota Democrat has either withheld or embellished aspects of his political and personal life. The National Pulse reported earlier this week that Walz was slammed by the former commander of his Minnesota National Guard battalion over his claims that he achieved the rank of command sergeant major.

Lieutenant Colonel John Kolb says the Democrat “did not earn the rank,” and that his early retirement—which allowed him to avoid being deployed to Iraq—improved his unit by making way for superior leadership.

Here’s Where Tim Walz’s Minnesota Ranks for Businesses (It’s Not Good).

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) is slamming Kamala Harris‘s 2024 running mate, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), for economic policies he claims have harmed the state. Emmer asserts that Walz’s leadership has driven Minnesota toward economic trouble, emphasizing that high tax rates under Walz’s administration have exacerbated financial strains for residents and businesses.

According to Emmer, Minnesota now has one of the highest tax rates in the country, which has been further increased under Walz’s governorship. Emmer contends that Walz has pushed the state “on a course to economic disaster” by mishandling the state’s budget surplus and imposing additional taxes. During Walz‘s tenure as governor, Minnesota depleted a $17.5 billion surplus and introduced $8 billion in new taxes and fees.

Data from the Tax Foundation—cited by Emmer—shows that Minnesota ranks among the worst states for business taxes, holding the 44th position out of 50. Emmer suggests that this situation has resulted in residents and businesses leaving the state in significant numbers. The National Pulse previously reported that under Walz, Minnesota has only grown at half the rate of the Biden-Harris economy at large. Meanwhile, energy costs in the state have soared—with industrial electric rates, specifically, being nearly 30 percent higher than the national average.

Employment growth has also lagged under Walz, with Minnesota’s job growth at 0.5 percent from January 2019 to June 2024, compared to the national increase of 5.8 percent over the same period. Emmer argues that Walz’s economic agenda—if applied nationally—could hinder the U.S. economy.

Congress is Investigating Kamala’s VP Nominee for Chinese Communist Ties.

The House Oversight Committee has initiated an investigation into Kamala Harris‘s 2024 vice presidential running mate, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), for alleged connections to Chinese Communist Party (CCP) affiliated entities. A letter authored by Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and addressed to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray revealed the existence of the inquiry.

According to Comer, his committee—as part of its “government-wide investigation into the Chinese Communist Party’s political warfare operations against America and the response from federal agencies—has begun looking into Gov. Walz. The letter asks Wray and the FBI to provide any information regarding the Minnesota Democrat’s connections with Chinese entities or officials. Comer also asks that any “warnings or advice the FBI may have given to Governor Walz about U.S. political figures being targeted by or recruited for CCP influence operations” be provided to the committee.

The Oversight Chairman explains the FBI briefed his committee on Chinese influence operations and political warfare against the United States in mid-April and again in mid-July. During those briefings, the FBI detailed activities and connections with Chinese officials and entities that might raise concerns. Comer notes that Gov. Walz appears to have engaged in the very activities the FBI briefers said they investigate.

TARGET OF CHINESE INFLUENCE?

Comer revealed that the governor’s interactions could place him within the CCP‘s strategic “elite capture” framework, designed to sway influential American figures to further CCP interests. Specific activities during Walz‘s teaching career in the early 1990s, such as organizing China trips for students, are under scrutiny.

During his teaching tenure, Walz formed Educational Travel Adventures, Inc., a company that facilitated student trips to China. The firm was reportedly dissolved soon after he assumed congressional office in 2007. Reports also indicate that Walz has made approximately 30 trips to China and served as a fellow at Macau Polytechnic University, recognized for its connections to the CCP.

Comer underscored Walz‘s involvement in the 2019 U.S. China Peoples Friendship Association’s National Convention, where he spoke alongside a representative of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, an entity flagged by the State Department for attempting to influence state and local leaders. Additionally, Comer noted Walz’s meeting with Consul General Zhao Jian in March 2024 to discuss China-U.S. relations. He cited Walz’s public stances that reflect a concerning view of the Chinese government’s policies and human rights record.

Obama ‘Hope’ Poster Artist Humiliated After Unveiling Kamala Version.

The artist who designed the famous Barack Obama “Hope” poster is receiving a flood of criticism after he unveiled a variation with 2024 Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris that features the text “Forward.” Shepard Fairey, the founder of the OBEY Clothing company, unveiled the new poster in a late Thursday post on Instagram, with users immediately panning the updated design and Democratic candidate.

“‘We are not going back.'” These words from Kamala Harris summarize the moment we are in, and in order not to go back, we must go FORWARD!” Fairey wrote in his post, adding: “While we have not achieved all the goals we might be seeking, we are making progress – all in the face of expanding threats and regressive political adversaries.”

‘OBEY THE PROPAGANDA.’

However, Fairey’s followers on Instagram do not appear to share his enthusiasm. The criticism was almost immediate, eventually forcing the left-wing artist to shut down the ability of users to comment on the post. A bulk of users blasted Fairey as a “sellout” and accused him of supporting a “genocide” in Gaza due to the Biden-Harris government’s tacit backing of Israel‘s war against the Hamas terrorist group.

“You mean that Kamala who is killing people in Ukraine and Gaza?” one user wrote. Another accused Fairey of betraying his radical art, writing: “I mean you do realize she supports the continued funding of an ongoing Gen0cide right Shepard? Right? Seems like you’re missing the point of your own art.”

In addition to progressive outrage over the Gaza war, users also blasted the conflation of Obama‘s progressive politics with Harris, who is a former prosecutor. “Forward in condoning genocide? Forward in ruining people’s lives by eternally hailing them for petty marijuana charges?” another post reads before continuing: “Forward in being screwing the voters out of actually being able to choose a candidate?”

The user added: “Her past is atrocious, her term as VP was atrocious, and her future is atrocious.”

Foreign Climate Activists Run Brazen Election Interference Scheme to Harm Trump.

A United Kingdom-based climate activist group is admittingly attempting to interfere in the 2024 U.S. presidential election on behalf of the Democratic Party, attacking former President Donald J. Trump over the much-maligned Project 2025. The Centre for Climate Reporting, founded by radical environmentalists Lawrence Carter and Tom Costello, has released a heavily edited ten-minute expose on the Heritage Foundation-housed presidential transition project featuring former Trump administration official Russ Vought and others speaking to an undercover reporter.

The Centre for Climate Reporting video uses an overly dramatic music score and ominous voice-over work to portray comments by Vought and other individuals involved in Project 2025 as evidence of a nefarious plot. However, the clandestinely shot video, in truth, offers nothing new. The comments made by Vought echo statements he has made in the past and are readily available in the public record—something the filmmakers tacitly admit by recycling clips of Vought’s appearances on programs like Stephen K. Bannon‘s War Room.

In one moment that is meant to be ‘shocking’ to viewers, Vought discusses plans to deport illegal immigrants and defund Planned Parenthood. These are two policy areas where the entirety of the Republican Party has been very vocal—and, in the case of the former, has mass public support according to election polls.

Vought, who served as the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) under former President Trump, is a major force behind efforts to reform the federal government’s administrative powers and end the undemocratic deep state. The former Trump official’s views and policy goals are no secret, though the Centre for Climate Reporting certainly attempts to mislead viewers on this.

FOREIGN ELECTION INTERFERENCE.

However, the UK-based environmental group could be excused for not knowing that it is common for individuals and organizations on both sides of the American political aisle to begin planning presidential transitions several months, if not years, in advance—including drafting hundreds of policy proposals. The lack of understanding of common practices in American politics, though, raises a secondary concern other than their misleading portrayal of Vought and Project 2025.

The Centre for Climate Reporting’s video is obviously meant to build on Democratic Party and progressive activists‘ attacks on Project 2025 and the Republican presidential nominee. Yet, unlike the domestic American reporting, the Centre is a foreign entity employing British and Canadian nationals who are not allowed to legally participate in U.S. elections as voters. Carter and Costello’s video certainly appears to be the sort of foreign election interference that Democrats have lambasted since 2016.

Aside from being misleading foreign-produced propaganda, the Centre for Climate Reporting’s undercover video appears to be something the group can present to donors in an attempt to boost their funding. The high production value and media push—including coverage by CNN—have all the hallmarks of a work product meant to court American progressive financial backers.

These ‘Celebs’ Are Descending on Chicago for the DNC.

As the Democratic National Convention approaches, arrangements for paid appearances by celebrities, entertainers, and musical acts are being finalized. While the convention‘s agenda is not yet public, several after-parties and side events have announced music act headliners and Hollywood celebrity guests.

Among the expected glitterati will be film and television stars like Uma Thurman, Disney‘s Danai Gurira, who has featured in the Marvel “Black Panther” movie, “Young Sheldon” actor Iain Armitage and Uzo Aduba of “Orange is the New Black” and “Mrs. America.” These celebrities are rumored to be among the audience during the Wednesday night concert series hosted by former Representative Gabby Giffords (D-AZ) and her husband, Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ).

JOAN JETT & DRAG QUEENS.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will headline the Giffords event at the Ramova Theater in Chicago. Other acts include Drive-By Truckers and SistaStrings. Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer is slated to host the concert.

In addition to major film celebrities and an 80s rockstar, the pro-LGBTQ Equality PAC will host a Monday night party in Chicago‘s gay Boys Town neighborhood. Several stars from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” are expected to attend, including Chad Michaels, Silky Nutmeg Ganache, and Jackie Cox. Also, on Monday night, there will be concert appearances by 90s pop-punk act Jimmy Eat World and rapper Lil Jon.

JOHN LEGEND, TAYLOR SWIFT, & BEYONCE?

Democratic Party booster and three-time Grammy Award winner John Legend will headline a concert on Tuesday night sponsored by billionaire and DNC host Governor J.B. Pritzker (D-IL). Legend has baselessly accused former President Donald J. Trump of being racist “at his core,” claiming he “believes in a genetic hierarchy of humanity, and it’s racially determined.”

On the final night of the DNC, the Future Forward SuperPAC will host a concert aimed at youth voters. The event will also serve as a fundraiser for the Harris campaign-aligned group. While there haven’t been any official announcements regarding the musical talent, there is rampant speculation that Beyoncé or Taylor Swift could appear.
