Trump Calls On Alabama To Preserve IVF Access.

Former President Donald Trump says he “strongly support[s] the availability of IVF for couples who are trying to have a precious baby.” The presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee pushed back against the Alabama Supreme Court decision which would make the medical procedure nearly impossible in the state.

Earlier this week, Alabama’s high court ruled that frozen embryos should be treated as children under state law, effectively exposing IVF clinics that destroy unused embryos to prosecution. The decision forced many clinics to immediately suspend their IVF services, leaving some families without options for fertility treatment.

“Today, I am calling on the Alabama Legislature to act quickly to find an immediate solution to preserve the availability of IVF in Alabama,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social. The former President made clear that Republicans who claim to be pro-family should support IVF, stating: “The Republican Party should always be on the side of the Miracle of Life – and the side of Mothers, Fathers, and their Beautiful Babies.”

He continued: “IVF is an important part of that, and our Great Republican Party will always be with you, in your quest, for the ULTIMATE JOY IN LIFE!”

Trump is not the only Republican pushing back against the Alabama court decision. Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall announced his office “has no intention of using the recent Alabama Supreme Court decision as a basis for prosecuting IVF families or providers.” Republican and Democrat lawmakers in the Alabama legislature are already pushing for a legislative solution to counter the court ruling.

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, Trump’s remaining primary opponent, is one of the few national Republicans to come out in support of the unpopular Alabama decision.

UK Parliament to Decriminalize Abortion Up to Birth.

Britain is on the cusp of decriminalizing abortion all the way up to birth, with a poll of Members of Parliament (MPs) showing a majority in favor of decriminalization ahead of a critical vote in the House of Commons.

Dame Diana Johnson MP, of Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour Party, has put forward an amendment to the Criminal Justice Bill which would end prosecutions of women for killing their babies after 24 weeks, which remains outlawed under the 19th-century Offences Against the Person Act.

The House of Commons will vote on the amendment in March, and polling shows 55 percent of MPs support an end to such prosecutions of mothers, including 81 percent of Labour MPs and 71 percent of MPs first elected in 2019 — mostly Conservatives chosen to run under Boris Johnson.

The polling was carried out by the so-called British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), which aborts more babies, mostly with money provided by the socialized National Health Service (NHS), than any other organization in Britain.

“There is support for change from both sides of the House, and the UK does not have a strong party divide on abortion like there is in America,” boasted BPAS chief of staff Rachael Clarke.

“Our polling does show a huge gender divide, with three-quarters of female MPs believing women should not be prosecuted compared to less than half of male MPs,” she added.

‘Biden Will Win 2024’ Due to Abortion Referendums and Democrat Voter Operation, Says Advisory Firm.

Signum Global Advisors — a research firm specializing in analytics and institutional investor and corporate advisory — says President Joe Biden will likely win re-election in November. The firm gives Biden a 65 percent chance of returning to the White House, breaking with recent predictions by major institutional investors like Jamie Dimon, David Rubenstein, and Scott Bessent, who have indicated former President Trump holds an electoral edge.

“At this stage in the U.S. presidential race, more data points a priori seem to favor former President Donald Trump over current President Joe Biden,” a research team led by Rob Casey, a senior analyst for Signum Global, argues. They add: “Adjusted for what we view as the determining factor in this election — voter mobilization — however, our current base case expectation is a Biden victory (65 [percent]), coupled with a divided Congress (Republican-majority Senate, Democrat-majority House).”

MOBILIZATION.

Biden’s victory, according to the research firm, is premised on their belief in the likelihood that Democrat voter turnout will be high — driven in part by numerous state referendums on abortion and the Democrat Party’s framing of the 2024 election as pivotal to the future of American democracy. Signum Global also downplays the impact of immigration on the 2024 election, claiming their analysis indicates only 17 percent of voters say the issue impacts them directly. The Signum Global research team also said it believes the U.S. will not experience an economic recession in 2024, noting: “Since 1944, no incumbent president running for re-election has lost without a recession during or immediately preceding the election cycle.”

DEMOCRAT DONOR.

While Signum Global’s analysis shouldn’t be brushed aside by Republicans — the issue of abortion arguably turned the tide nearly in favor of Democrats during the 2022 mid-terms — the firm isn’t without its own political bias. Charles Myers, the founder of Signum Global Advisors, is a Democrat mega-donor. Since the beginning of the 2023-2024 election cycle, FEC data indicates Myers has contributed nearly $250,000 to Democrat candidates and aligned PACs. He has made the legal maximum contribution to several national Democrat leaders, including Eric Swalwell, Nancy Pelosi, Elissa Slotkin, and Adam Schiff.

Kamala Declares: ‘I Am Ready to Serve!’ As Democrats Panic Over Biden’s Mental State.

Vice President Kamala Harris is facing increasing scrutiny following reports that her boss, President Joe Biden, is displaying “diminished mental faculties” and is an “elderly man with a poor memory.” Just two days before a Department of Justice (DOJ) report regarding Biden’s handling of classified documents dropped, the Vice President was asked by the press aboard Air Force Two whether she needed to prove her leadership skills to voters in the event she is needed to replace Biden as the Democrat presidential nominee.

“I am ready to serve,” Harris said, adding: “There’s no question about that.” Defending her ability to lead, the Vice President said anyone who has worked with her “…walks away fully aware of my capacity to lead.”

White House staff are believed to have had access to the DOJ report as much as a week prior to its release, meaning Harris would have known of its contents when making her comments.

Questions over the 81-year-old Biden’s ability to run for re-election have sparked speculation as to who might replace him. Names like Michelle Obama and even Oprah have been floated. The most likely scenario is that the President would be replaced by his Vice-President, Kamala Harris.

Harris, who is over two decades younger than Biden at 59, will have to assuage Democrat leadership’s concerns over her own history of gaffes and outlandish statements. Republicans, for their part, are looking to take advantage of the void in leadership created by concerns about Biden’s health and uncertainty that Harris can handle the presidency. On the campaign trail, they’ve emphasized that a ‘vote for Biden is a vote for Harris.’

The Vice President has recently seen a bump in day-to-day work as part of the Biden government and appearances on the campaign trail. Increasingly, she has leaned into the abortion issue in her campaign rhetoric – one of the few policy areas Harris appears most comfortable discussing. Should Harris have to replace Biden as the nominee, she is likely to try and make 2024 a referendum on women’s health – with abortion being the core issue of her campaign.

Pro-Life Activists Face 11 Years in Jail at Hands of Biden DOJ.

A Nashville grand jury charged six peaceful pro-life activists with violating the FACE Act and conspiracy against rights after the Biden Justice Department brought charges in 2022.

What is the FACE Act? It’s a 1994 law that prohibits threats, obstruction, and physical violence against patients and employees of abortion and reproduction health centers [this includes pro-life centers].

Back up: On March 5, 2021, pro-life activists held a peaceful protest outside a Tennessee abortion clinic, which the DOJ claims prevented a patient and employee from entering.

  • Livestream footage shows them praying, singing hymns, and urging women to reconsider their decision to seek an abortion.
  • The stream shows some protestors sitting in front of the clinic door and refusing to move when asked.

Penalty: All six defendants [Chet Gallagher, Coleman Boyd, Heather Idoni, Cal Zastrow, Paul Vaughn, and Dennis Green] – face up to 10.5 years in prison and fines of up to $260,000.

Disproportionate distribution of justice: The defendants argued that the Biden DOJ disproportionately seeks charges against pro-lifers while choosing not to use the FACE Act against abortionists who protest at pro-life centers and churches.

The numbers seem to back up their accusations. According to data compiled by the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising, the Biden regime has used the FACE Act:

  • 126 times to charge pro-life activists
  • 3 times to charge pro-abortion activists
The last word: Rep. Mike Lee summed it up on X, writing: “Bottom line: the Biden administration incarcerates people for praying at abortion clinics while ignoring violent acts at churches and pregnancy centers.”

Shock Report Claims 65,000 Rape Pregnancies Since Roe Termination. The Only Problem? It’s a Planned Parenthood-Linked Fabrication.

A shocking new report has claimed that nearly 520,000 rapes resulted in 64,565 pregnancies across 14 states with abortion bans. However, the research, published in the JAMA Internal Medicine journal and promoted heavily by NBC News, appears to be a work of fiction created by Planned Parenthood abortionist and activist Samuel L. Dickman.

The report itself admits to being entirely based on conjecture, stating: “Because to our knowledge no recent reliable state-level data on completed vaginal rapes (forced and/or drug/alcohol–facilitated vaginal penetration) are available, we analyzed multiple data sources to estimate reported and unreported rapes in states with total abortion bans… We also estimated the number of resulting pregnancies based on findings from prior research on rape-related pregnancy rates.

While claiming a staggering 520,000 rapes, the study’s authors admit this is effectively a guess, extrapolating from a 2016/17 self-reported Centers for Disease Control (CDC) study into National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS).

In Texas, the report estimated that 26,313 Texas women became pregnant over the past year. Data, however, suggests there were 16,510 rapes in total in the state in one year, let alone pregnancies resulting from rape. With Texas’s abortion ban coming into effect on July 24, 2022, the report’s authors would have the public believe that the number of rapes in Texas effectively doubled since 2020, and that every one of them resulted in a pregnancy.

The team that authored the report was headed by Samuel L. Dickman, the medical director of Planned Parenthood Montana and an outspoken abortion activist. In a June 2023 oped, Dickman wrote that “politicians [who have implemented abortion bans] have taken away patients’ freedom to choose their own medical care” and that “it will take all of us to address this public health crisis and restore, protect and expand abortion access for future generations.”

The NBC story was written by Megan Lebowitz, a recent intern with Chuck Todd, and “Meet the Press.”

ON THIS DAY in 1973: SCOTUS’s Roe v. Wade Decision.

On this day in 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down a landmark ruling in Roe v. Wade, establishing that restrictive state regulation of abortion was unconstitutional. The case was launched by Norma McCorvey – known in court documents as “Jane Roe” – a Texas waitress who became pregnant in 1969 and sought an abortion, an act largely prohibited in the state. When she could not afford to travel to another jurisdiction for a safer procedure, McCorvey took legal action against Dallas County District Attorney Henry Wade, arguing that the current abortion laws violated her constitutional rights. The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas agreed that the legislation infringed on her privacy rights.

The case eventually reached the Supreme Court in 1970, resulting in a landmark 7-2 ruling in McCorvey’s favor three years later. The Court agreed that state laws prohibiting abortion were in violation of the 14th Amendment, which promises that no state “shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens in the United States.” In the majority opinion, Justice Harry A. Blackmun wrote that the Texas statutes criminalizing abortions in most instances violated a woman’s constitutional right to privacy.

Ironically, McCorvey herself did not secure an abortion. By the time the decision was rendered in 1973, she had given birth and given her baby up for adoption. In the 1980s, McCorvey revealed her identity as “Jane Roe” and later underwent religious conversions becoming an evangelical Christian, then a Roman Catholic, and joining the anti-abortion movement. Despite the Supreme Court’s decision being overturned on June 24, 2022 – granting states the power to regulate abortion – the legacy of Roe v. Wade continues to be a flashpoint.

Biden Campaign Plans Rallies, Op-Eds, TV Ads to Demand Mass Murder of American Babies.

The Joe Biden campaign plans to put abortion “at the forefront of its reelection campaign,” vowing to “restore” Roe v. Wade and the “reproductive freedom” to kill unborn children with few or no restrictions.

Pro-abortion television and digital ads are planned for around January 22nd, the anniversary the Roe‘s ruling in 1973. Rallies featuring the President, the Vice President, and their spouses are also planned.

“Trump directly paved the way for Republican extremists across the country to enact draconian bans that are hurting women and threatening doctors,” said Biden-Harris campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez, acknowledging Trump should be credited for the pro-life advances since Roe v. Wade was overturned. Within six months of Roe being overturned, an estimated 32,000 babies’ lives had been saved by Trump and the Supreme Court Justices’ actions.

Trump has long argued that Democrats, rather than Republicans, are the extremists on abortion, condemning state lawmakers for having “cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth” during one of his State of the Union speeches.

Washington D.C., Colorado, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, and Vermont, all run by Democrats, allow abortion up to birth, along with Republican-run Alaska.

Ballot Measure to Enshrine Abortion in Florida Constitution Advances.

A proposed amendment aiming to incorporate access to abortion in Florida’s constitution has made significant progress towards inclusion on the November 2024 ballot. Abortion advocates, led by the group Floridians Protecting Freedom, amassed over 910,000 validated signatures of registered voters, surpassing the required 892,000 necessary to advance the measure.

The proposed amendment seeks to outlaw restrictions on abortion before fetal viability, estimated at the 24th week of pregnancy, with exceptions after this period for the patient’s health based on their healthcare provider’s judgment.

Opponents may be able to stop the controversial amendment from advancing, however. The Florida Supreme Court announced on Wednesday its intention to hear a challenge against the initiative by state conservatives. Five of the seven justices were appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis, a staunch abortion opponent. Oral arguments for this case are scheduled to be held on February 7.

Florida abortion advocates will have additional hurdles to overcome, even if their measure eventually makes the ballot. The measure would need the support of 60 percent of voters in November — not a simple majority — to pass. Abortion is currently legal in Florida up to 15 weeks.

Britain BANS PRAYER Near Abortion Clinics.

England’s High Court has upheld a local government order establishing a so-called “buffer zone” against prayers being said near an abortion clinic. Livia Tossici-Bolt, who heads the pro-life group 40 Days for Life Bournemouth, and Christian Concern had attempted to overturn the ban, arguing it “criminalized prayer and reading from the Bible”.

Judges determined on Friday that the banning order “lawfully followed the democratic and consultative procedures”. They said any infringements of freedom of religion, speech, and the right to protest were “justified by the legitimate aim of protecting the rights of women attending the clinic.”

Christian Concern intends to appeal the decision. “Peaceful witness near abortion centers are helpful to many women in crisis pregnancies, offering genuine choice by providing support,” argued Christian Legal Centre chief executive Andrea Williams.

British police are exceptionally rigid in enforcing “buffer zones” protecting abortionists. Lone Christians have in some cases been arrested or fined for praying silently inside their heads near clinics.
