At least one individual named to the State Department presidential transition landing team is raising alarm bells among MAGA loyalists, as he has a long history of promoting pro-immigration and pro-Ukraine military aid policies. Tyler Brace, who served as a key aide to former Senator Rob Portman (R-OH)—a globalist and staunch opponent of President-elect Donald J. Trump—is set to serve on the landing team which will begin hiring and onboarding political appointees at the critical foreign policy agency.
While serving on former Sen. Portman’s staff, Brace—a legislative assistant—oversaw most of the globalist Ohio Republican’s foreign affairs, intelligence, homeland security, and judiciary legislative portfolio. Additionally, the then-Senate aide acted as the point of contact for the Senate Ukraine Caucus, which Portman co—chaired at the time.
Brace frequently engaged with members of the Ukrainian government and served as an election monitor in 2014. That election saw Petro Poroshenko—a politician openly hostile toward Russia—ascend to Ukraine’s presidency. Poroshenko escalated the conflict with pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine’s Donbas region, resulting in a Russian military incursion backing separatist control over large areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
As a Portman aide, Brace oversaw the senator’s immigration policy. Notably, Portman was an ardent critic and opponent of President Trump’s border wall in 2018. Additionally, the Ohio senator publicly opposed the Trump administration’s family separation policy, requesting that then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions place a moratorium on the action.
Also of concern is Brace’s potential stance on trade issues. The State Department plays a tangential role in international trade negotiations as the government’s chief diplomatic agency. Senator Portman was one of Congress’s most outspoken opponents of tariffs. The high-level landing team role given to Brace suggests the State Department may continue to be a beachhead of resistance to the America First agenda.

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the outgoing Senate Republican leader, is attacking the America First movement and key components of President-elect Donald J. Trump’s foreign policy. In an essay for Foreign Affairs, McConnell urged Trump to abandon America First positions, which he describes as misguided steps towards isolationism and decline.
The 82-year-old Kentucky Republican emphasized the supposed importance of U.S. global interventions, calling for increased foreign aid, support for NATO, and more military aid to Ukraine. During his first presidential administration, Trump pushed NATO members to meet their funding obligations, suggesting the U.S. would decline to support them if they did not. Additionally, during the 2024 presidential race, the now-President-elect pledged to end the war in Ukraine, negating the need for any additional military aid.
In the essay, McConnell complains about the possibility of the U.S. relinquishing its global primacy, writing, “To pretend that the United States can… afford to shrug off faraway chaos as irrelevant is to ignore its global interests and its adversaries’ global designs.”
In an interview with The Financial Times earlier in December, he appeared to directly compare the rise of the Trump movement to the rise of the Nazis in Germany, telling the newspaper, “We’re in a very, very dangerous world right now, reminiscent of before World War Two. Even the slogan is the same. ‘America First.’ That was what they said in the ’30s.”
His comments signal potential friction between him and the incoming Trump administration, especially regarding the United States’ role in Ukrainian defense.
The senator, who is set to chair the Senate Appropriations Defense subcommittee, plans to use his position to advocate for his preferred policies. The elderly lawmaker has not said whether he will seek reelection in 2026, despite suffering several health incidents in recent years, including at least two instances where he mysteriously froze for a prolonged period while addressing the media.

The National Pulse is ready to project that President Donald J. Trump has retaken the White House as the 47th President of the United States. The America First leader will be only the second person in U.S. history to serve non-consecutive terms as the Commander-in-Chief. Trump, propelled by a surge in support among minorities and working-class voters, bested his Democrat opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, in what was projected to be a close contest.
The campaign was one of the most intense in American history, with the Biden-Harris government pushing four partisan prosecutions against Trump and his allies in an effort to bankrupt the Republican presidential nominee. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden—the incumbent Democrat—exited the race after a catastrophic debate in June. In addition, Trump faced two attempts on his life, with an assassin in Butler, Pennsylvania, striking him in the ear and killing a rallygoer. However, despite the best efforts of the Democrats, the corporate media, and their Deep State allies, Election Night marked a tremendous victory for Trump and the MAGA movement.

America First Congressman Matt Gaetz has crushed Aaron Dimmock, his primary challenger in Florida’s 1st Congressional District. Dimmock had been backed by Kevin McCarthy, the Republican-in-name-only (RINO) former Speaker of the House of Representatives ousted from his position by Gaetz in October 2023.
“Kevin McCarthy spent $3 million in this race,” Gaetz said following his 45-point victory over “DEI Dimmock,” whose background as a Black Lives Matter supporter and diversity, equity, and inclusion overseer was uncovered over the course of the primary campaign.
“$3 million,” Gaetz reiterated. “Two years ago, I got 70 percent of the vote. And tonight, it looks like we’re getting 73 percent of the vote. So, Kevin, if you’re watching, spend a little more next time, and we’ll get to 80!”
McCarthy became Speaker in January 2023 on his 15th attempt with the support of Gaetz, who had previously blocked his ascension. McCarthy made various promises to Gaetz and his faction on spending and holding the Deep State accountable—but reneged once he had the gavel, passing unpopular bills with more Democratic votes than Republican votes.
Gaetz made history by triggering a successful vote to remove McCarthy from the Speaker’s chair in October 2023. Since then, McCarthy has resigned from the House and embarked on a largely unsuccessful “revenge tour” to try to punish the MAGA lawmakers who ousted him.
Rep. Nancy Mace, one of McCarthy’s targets, mocked the “revenge tour” in February, suggesting the “bored” former Speaker should stop being “a complete loser” and “get a job.”
Congratulations to @mattgaetz for his MASSIVE VICTORY over McCarthy sock puppet @DimmockforFL.

Former President Donald J. Trump‘s running mate, Senator J.D. Vance, has vowed to stand up for Americans “cast aside and forgotten by America’s ruling class” at the Republican National Convention, recalling his own humble beginnings in Middletown, Ohio.
Vance began his speech by praising former President Trump as someone who “chose to endure abuse, slander, and persecution” despite being a successful businessman who already had “everything anyone could ever want in a life.”
“I want all Americans to watch the video of a would-be assassin coming a quarter of an inch from taking his life. Consider the lies they told you about Donald Trump. And then look at that photo of him defiant — fist in the air,” he said. “When Donald Trump rose to his feet in that Pennsylvania field—all of America stood with him. And what did he call for us to do for his country? To fight. To fight for America.”
He also paid tribute to “the brave Corey Comperatore, who gave his life to protect his family” during the assassination attempt.
UPBRINGING.
Coming around to his own background, the former U.S. Marine described how policies supported by Joe Biden had sent working-class jobs overseas, flooded the country with cheap foreign goods, and sent people to their deaths in ill-conceived wars.
“[A]t each step of the way, in small towns like mine in Ohio, or next door in Pennsylvania or Michigan, in other states across our country, jobs were sent overseas, and our children were sent to war,” Vance said.
“And somehow, a real estate developer from New York City by the name of Donald J. Trump was right on all of these issues while Biden was wrong,” he said. “President Trump knew, even then, that we needed leaders who would put America first.”
He credited his own American Dream story in large part to his “tough as nails” Mamaw, who acted as his “guardian angel” while jobs went out of his community and “deadly Chinesefentanyl” came in.
THE FUTURE.
Senator Vance said Trump‘s vision for America is “so simple and yet so powerful,” with an America First government catering not to Wall Street but to “the working man.”
“We’re done importing foreign labor; we’re going to fight for American citizens and their good jobs and their good wages,” he vowed.
“We’re done buying energy from countries that hate us; we’re going to get it right here, from American workers in Pennsylvania and Ohio and across the country,” he continued, adding: “We’re going to build factories again, put people to work making real products for American families, made with the hands of American workers”—and stop the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from “building their middle class on the backs of American citizens.”
“We will, in short, make America great again!”

The draft 2024 Republican Party platform was presented Monday to delegates on the convention‘s platform committee ahead of a final vote on adoption in Milwaukee next week. Entitled ‘America First: A Return to Common Sense,’ the document outlines several core elements of former President Donald J. Trump‘s agenda should he retake the White House in November’s presidential election. Border security, the deportation of illegalimmigrants, ending the weaponization of the Department of Justice (DOJ), the protection of Social Security, fair trade, and election integrity are among the most prominent issues mentioned in the draft.
“Today we must once again call upon the same American Spirit that led us to prevail through every challenge of the past if we are going to lead our Nation to a brighter future,” the draft platform preamble reads. Striking Trump‘s trademark America First tone, it continues, laying out the former President’s “common sense” solutions to the border crisis, U.S. national security, inflation, and crime—among other issues.
AN AMERICA FIRST ECONOMY.
The draft platform offers a marked change from the globalist policies of the Republican Party of old. “Common Sense tells us clearly that if we don’t have Domestic Manufacturing with low Inflation, not only will our Economy—and even our Military Equipment and Supplies—be at the mercy of Foreign Nations, but our Towns, Communities, and People cannot thrive,” it states, adding: “Republican Party must return to its roots as the Party of Industry, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and Workers.”
Addressing American energy, the draft document echoes Trump‘s calls to “unleash American Energy” as part of an effort to reduce inflation and ensure the nation’s energy independence.
Additionally, the platform’s pro-energy and pro-worker tone will likely help bolster Trump’s growing support among union households—a voter demographic the campaign sees as crucial to its victory in November. The National Pulse reported in June that Sean O’Brien, the president of the Teamsters Union, has accepted Trump‘s invitation to address the convention.
BORDER SECURITY.
Likewise, the draft document heavily focuses on border security and immigration. It reiterates former President Trump‘s words: “If we don’t have a Border, we don’t have a Country.” The platform states that the Trump White House will complete the border wall and enact enhanced screening of immigrants entering the United States through other avenues.
Notably, the platform reinforces Trump‘s call to tackle the unprecedented number of illegalimmigrants who have entered the country under Joe Biden through sweeping deportations—supported by a majority of Americans. ” We will start by prioritizing the most dangerous criminals and working with local Police,” the document reads before continuing: “We must not allow Biden’s Migrant Invasion to alter our Country.”
CRYPTOCURRENCY.
A Republican platform first, the draft addresses emergent technologies like cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence. “Republicans will end Democrats’ unlawful and unAmerican Crypto crackdown and oppose the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency,” the document states. It adds: “We will defend the right to mine Bitcoin, and ensure every American has the right to self-custody of their Digital Assets, and transact free from Government Surveillance and Control.”
Additionally, on the subject of artificial intelligence, the draft signals the intent for America to compete on the global stage—seeing the technology as a national security issue and not just an economic one. “We will repeal Joe Biden’s dangerous Executive Order that hinders AI Innovation, and imposes Radical Leftwing ideas on the development of this technology,” the platform reads, continuing: “In its place, Republicans support AI Development rooted in Free Speech and Human Flourishing.”
THE GOP IS STILL PRO-LIFE.
Lastly, while the platform did undergo some changes in the wake of the repeal of Roe v. Wade, the draft document reiterates the Republican commitment to the pro-life cause. “We proudly stand for families and Life,” the pro-life plank begins. “We believe that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States guarantees that no person can be denied Life or Liberty without Due Process, and that the States are, therefore, free to pass Laws protecting those Rights.”
“We will oppose Late Term Abortion, while supporting mothers and policies that advance Prenatal Care, access to Birth Control, and IVF (fertility treatments),” the platform draft concludes.

The Deputy Editor of the New York Times editorial board has posted a seething blog attacking J.D. Vance, the America First senator favored to become Donald Trump’s 2024 running mate by readers of The National Pulse.
David Firestone accusesVance, a former editor of the Yale Law Journal, of being “unserious” and “callous” because he believes passing Congressional legislation to ban bump stocks would be “inhibiting the rights of law-abiding Americans” to address a “fake problem.”
“Presumably, [Vance] thinks there’s some kind of right to own a machine gun,” Firestone seethes, though the Supreme Court just ruled that semi-automatic firearms with bump stops are not, in fact, “machine guns.”
Firestone also rails against Vance‘s move to block the appointment of U.S. attorneys and judges by the Joe Biden regime in response to the Democratic lawfare campaign against Trump and his allies.
“These kinds of blockades are among the most juvenile and petulant tantrums an elected official can throw, putting Vance right there on the lowest level of the Senate alongside Tommy Tuberville of Alabama,” Firestone whines.
He concludes by saying “Trump might want to think twice before choosing someone even more preposterous than he is” as his running mate—although the fact the NYT editorial board is dead against Vance may only serve to confirm he would be an appropriate second-in-command to the America First leader.

Donald Trump supporters unveiled a ‘Never Surrender’ banner of the former president at a Yankees Stadium baseball game, featuring the iconic mugshot taken for his election interference prosecution by Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis in Georgia.
Investigative reporter Laura Loomer revealed the banner was the work of Dion Cini and the America First Warehouse, which pitches itself as “a unique, patriotic venue… showcasing American-made products, and advancing the America-First agenda.”
Intended to humiliate Trump, the mugshot has backfired spectacularly on the Democrats, helping to raise over $20 million for his campaign within three weeks of its publication. Before its release, Lara Trump, who now co-chairs the Republican National Committee (RNC), predicted that “the most famous mugshot in the history of the world” would end up on dorm room walls and T-shirts across the country.
The Yankees Stadium stunt precedes an expected Trump rally in the Bronx, as the former president’s movements remain limited by another Democrat election interference prosecution in Manhattan.
The America First leader has used the trial to go on the offensive in New York, where he was within ten points of Joe Biden in November. Since then, Trump has regularly held impromptu campaign events in his home state, winning the endorsement of thousands of bodegas and union workers in the Democratic stronghold, where 70 percent of residents say Biden is unfit for office.
Trump is already tying Biden in nearby New Hampshire, and drew a crowd of around 100,000 supporters to a monster rally in neighboring New Jersey, putting in play states that have not been won by a Republican presidential candidate since 2000 and 1988, respectively.
My friends Dion and @americafirstwh just dropped a NEVER SURRENDER Trump mug shot flag at Yankee stadium in New York the night before President Trump’s rally in the Bronx!

Nigel Farage, former leader of the Brexit Party, now rebranded Reform UK, has confirmed he will not run in the British general election called for July 4. The GB News host will instead focus on helping Donald Trump and the America First movement reclaim power in the United States.
“I have thought long and hard as to whether I should stand in the upcoming general election,” Farage wrote in a statement posted on social media.
“As honorary president of Reform UK, I am fully supportive of Richard Tice’s leadership and urge voters to put their trust in him and Lee Anderson,” he added, referring to Reform’s party leader and its only Member of Parliament (MP), the former deputy chairman of the governing Conservative (Tory) party.
“I will do my bit to help in the campaign, but it is not the right time for me to go any further than that,” he confirmed.
Farage explained that while the British general election is “important,” the American general election in November “has huge global significance.”
AMERICA FIRST.
“A strong America as a close ally is vital for our peace and security. I intend to help with the grassroots campaign in the USA in any way I can,” he wrote.
He concluded by branding both the Conservatives and the opposition Labour party, the latter expected to oust the former in a landslide, “uninspiring.” He added that “only Reform have the radical agenda that is needed to end decline in [the United Kingdom]” – but the right-populist party is currently projected to win zero seats, thanks to a third-past-the-post system that stacks the deck against new parties.
Farage was the first major political figure from overseas to be received by then-President-elect Trump in 2016, meeting him at Trump Tower alongside National Pulse editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam and figures from the Leave.EU campaign.
Farage had campaigned for Trump against Hillary Clinton, arguing the America First movement was an extension of the broader anti-globalism movement in the West that he had championed during his successful campaign against the European Union earlier in 2016.

Behind-the-scenes political intrigue exclusively for Pulse+ subscribers.
TruthSocial, the social media platform launched by former President Donald Trump, went public last week, sending waves through the stock market as its value soared, poising Trump to reap a potential $5 billion windfall. What the anti-Trump establishment has missed, however, is that the stock is more than just an investment for supporters of the former President — pumping its value is also a political statement.
“It’s mainly to support Trump and his legal battles. Or making a statement,” said Teri Lynn Roberson in a recent interview. Roberson, a Trump supporter from Dallas, Texas, explained: “It’s more just to show that people are supporting him.” As the 2024 presidential election kicks into full swing, former President Trump could cash in a portion of his shares for hundreds of millions of dollars to fuel his campaign war chest.
The potential for Trump to harness TruthSocial as a source of campaign dollars is something the Washington, D.C. political elite hadn’t previously considered. “Almost no one saw it coming,” declaredThe Wall Street Journal. Corporate media talking heads derided the company and its investors when TruthSocial went public last Tuesday. Jessica Tarlov, a Democrat strategist, sarcastically declared during an appearance on Fox News’s The Five, “Donald Trump gets really lucky.”
Former New York Assistant Attorney General Adam Pollock told CNN that the value of TruthSocial “is essentially worthless.” The Late Show host Stephen Colbert dedicated his opening monologue to Trump’s massive windfall. “Why do good things ever happen to Donald Trump,” Colbert pondered before concluding: “He made over $4 billion misspelling things on the toilet!”
However, the political value of TruthSocial hasn’t been lost on everyone. Matt Simpson, managing partner at Wealthspring Capital, toldThe Wall Street Journal that “[Trump’s] the ultimate winner, at least on paper.”
