Bud Light Fumbles Its Super Bowl Hail Mary.

Despite the brand’s multi-million dollar Super Bowl ad blitz, Bud Light continues to fumble.

Back up: The Bud Light boycott began last year in response to a marketing campaign featuring transgender TikToker Dylan Mulvaney.

The details: To win back consumers, Bud Light launched a massive Super Bowl ad campaign featuring Hall of Fame QB Peyton Manning, singer Post Malone, and comedian Shane Gillis.

  • Bud Light ran 2 minutes and 30 seconds of ads during the big game, estimated to cost $35 million.
  • The brand even got an endorsement from former President Donald Trump, who asked supporters to give the beer a “second chance.
The numbers: According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, Bud Light didn’t move the needle. In the two weeks ending on February 17, Bud Light’s sales volume was still down 30.1 percent compared to last year. The skid bled into Budweiser sales, which were down 17.1%
  • During Super Bowl week, Bud Light came in second in overall sales (7.3 percent) to the new king of U.S. beer, Modelo (8.7 percent).
Big picture: Despite the multi-million dollar effort, Bud Light has only won back 1.2 percent of its lost market share. And in total, the boycott cost Anheuser-Busch $1.4 billion in 2023.

Bud Light Tries to Salvage Brand with Super Bowl Ad Campaign.

Bud Light is using an expensive Super Bowl ad campaign to resurrect its image and win back beer drinkers. The brand hopes customers will forget its affair with a transgender TikToker Dylan Mulvaney.

The details: Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch (AB), is forking out big bucks for a 60-second ad that will reportedly introduce a new brand character. And according to Kyle Norrington, AB’s chief commercial officer, you can expect “some really funny advertising.”

The price tag: We don’t know the exact figure, but it’s estimated that advertisers fork out about $7 million for thirty seconds.

Back up: Bud Light customers abandoned the beer by the caseload after an ill-advised marketing deal with transgender TikToker Dylan Mulvaney last April.

Sales plunge: Since going trans, Bud Light lost its title as the nation’s top-selling domestic beer to Modello Especial. In the first two weeks of 2024, Bud Light’s retail-store sales are down 28.9 percent compared to the same time last year. Modelo is up 15.1 percent.

More about the ad: AB released a 12-second teaser online featuring a man wearing metallic sunglasses with a handlebar mustache. One fan in the ad is wearing a Peyton Manning jersey, leading to speculation that the Hall of Fame quarterback might be the man behind the glasses. Someone is then heard to scream, “LET’S GO!!!” – which is widely recognized as the “Allahu Akbar” for white guys.

Anheuser-Busch to Hand Shareholders $1Bn To Restore Confidence.

Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, is implementing a share buyback clause for the first time in the company’s history, which will hand its shareholders $1 billion in a desperate attempt to restore confidence in the brand.

The buyback will take place over the next 12 months and begin “immediately,” according to the company’s CFO Fernando Tennenbaum, who announced the decision on a call with investors.

The move follows a financially poor third quarter for the company. Anheuser-Busch reported a collapse in U.S. revenue by 13 percent as well as drops in sales to wholesalers by 17.6 percent and to retailers by 16.6 percent. Beer volumes similarly dropped by four percent.

The company has made numerous revamp attempts following its decision to promote Bud Light using transgender woman Dylan Mulvaney earlier this year – a stunt that cost the brand upwards of $27 billion. The latest attempt came in October after it announced a partnership with UFC.

Bill Gates is Bailing Out Bud Light?

Billionaire globalist Bill Gates appears to be bailing out Anheuser-Busch after the company took a public relations and financial hit from partnering with transgender social media personality Dylan Mulvaney. The firm lost at least $4 billion in value in aftermath, with Gates reported to be purchasing 1.7 million shares at a cost of $95 million.

The 2023 second quarter report for AB InBev, Anheuser-Busch’s parent company, indicates the beer brewer saw U.S. sales fall 10.5 percent, equating to about $395 million in lost sales. AB InBev’s shareholder presentation bluntly admits the company’s performance was “…impacted by volume decline of Bud Light.” The report also admitted consumers want “Their beer without a debate”, “Bud Light to focus on beer”, and “Bud Light to concentrate on platforms that all our consumers love–e.g., NFL, Folds of Honor, Music.”

Gates – one of the world’s most infamous globalists – also bought up 3.76 percent of Heineken Holding NV in February.

Anheuser-Busch Heir Wants to Buy Bud Light Back to ‘Make The Brand Great Again’.

Billy Busch, an heir to the Anheuser-Busch fortune, has adopted Trumpian tones in explaining his wishes to buy back the tranny-tarnished Bud Light to revive its reputation and ‘make the brand great again.’

Busch expressed frustration with the brand’s direction which has alienated much of its customer base following the now infamous Dylan Mulvaney ad campaign.

“If they don’t want that brand any longer, sell it back to the Busch family… Sell it to me. I’ll be the first in line to buy that brand back from you, and we’ll make that brand great again,” he said in an interview with conservative commentator Tomi Lahren.

He went on to attack the company’s decision to abandon its principles in favor of hiring woke students to make the decisions, stating, “When you are a foreign company, and you rely on these woke students that are coming out of these local colleges to do your advertising for you, you’re making a big mistake.”

Anheuser-Busch has witnessed its sales and venue collapse after using the controversial transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney in an advertisement campaign earlier this year. The company reported losses of up to $27 billion in its stock value and $390 million in the second quarter compared to last year.
