The details: To win back consumers, Bud Light launched a massive Super Bowl ad campaign featuring Hall of Fame QB Peyton Manning, singer Post Malone, and comedian Shane Gillis.
- Bud Light ran 2 minutes and 30 seconds of ads during the big game, estimated to cost $35 million.
- The brand even got an endorsement from former President Donald Trump, who asked supporters to give the beer a “second chance.”
- During Super Bowl week, Bud Light came in second in overall sales (7.3 percent) to the new king of U.S. beer, Modelo (8.7 percent).
