Ilhan Omar Blasts Kamala for Embracing Cheneys.

Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is calling Vice President Kamala Harris’s decision to embrace the backing of former Republican Vice President Dick Cheney—reviled as the architect of the 2003 Iraq War—and his daughter, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), a significant error. Omar, a member of the progressive Congressional faction known as “The Squad,” said Harris’s late attempt to win over Republicans was “a huge misstep.”

The Somali-born Congresswoman contends that by openly campaigning with the Cheneys, Harris and her running mate, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), only further alienated the pro-Palestinian Uncommitted Movement. This, Omar says, likely cost the 2024 Democratic Party presidential nominee the state of Michigan—where the Uncommitted Movement held considerable influence.

The Uncommitted Movement chose to withhold its backing from Harris due to dissatisfaction with the Biden-Harris government’s approach to the Gaza conflict. Michigan’s substantial Arab and Muslim communities voiced concerns over the perceived lack of accountability placed on Israel for the ongoing violence and destruction in Gaza. Omar highlighted Cheney’s name as being “synonymous with war” for younger generations, suggesting it misrepresented the campaign’s priorities.

As part of their efforts to appeal to disenchanted Republican voters, the Harris-Walz campaign prominently featured Liz Cheney’s endorsement, even organizing an event in Wisconsin with Cheney and Harris. However, Omar critiqued the campaign’s performance in Dearborn, Michigan, an area with a significant Arab population, noting Harris and Walz’s preference to send staff instead of visiting personally. She emphasized that the personal engagement demonstrated by President-elect Donald J. Trump, who met with Dearborn‘s Democratic mayor, influenced the outcome there.

While Omar maintains a critical stance toward Trump, she expressed a willingness to work with the new administration, albeit with a commitment to resist any policies she perceives as detrimental to her constituents.

Kamala’s Plan to Win Over Republican Voters by Embracing Dick and Liz Cheney Failed Spectacularly.

Vice President Kamala Harris‘s attempt to woo disaffected Republican voters by trying to pivot to the political center—despite her own radical progressive record—appears to have been an abject failure and may have cost her votes among her political base. Exit polling data suggests that the Democratic Party’s 2024 presidential nominee actually lost ground among Republicans and independent voters compared to Joe Biden in 2020.

When compared to Biden’s share of Republican voters during the previous presidential race, Harris’s Republican support declined by one percent. Likewise, Harris’s share of independent voters was down five percent compared to Biden’s share in 2020.

PIVOT TO THE CENTER.

The Harris campaign went to great lengths to downplay her radical record from her time as California’s Attorney General and in the U.S. Senate. In July, The National Pulse reported that numerous corporate media outlets—and at least one organization that rates levels of partisanship among lawmakers—attempted to scrub past stories highlighting Harris’s far-left record. One of the most egregious examples was an attempt by the corporate media to erase the Vice President’s role in the Biden government’s disastrous handling of the border crisis.

EMBRACING THE CHENEYS.

While the Democratic Party’s corporate media allies downplayed Harris’s more radical political stances, the Vice President herself openly embraced the backing of former Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) and her father, architect of the Iraq War and former Vice President Dick Cheney. In November 2021, the Wyoming Republican Party voted to stop recognizing Liz Cheney as a member. Meanwhile, her father ended his tenure as vice president in 2009 with an approval rating of 13 percent.

The embrace of the Cheney family not only failed to draw Republican voters to Harris, but it likely further alienated Arab-American and Muslim voters. In Michigan, Arab-American and Mulsim protest votes put the state out of reach for Harris.

AOC Tried to Use Arabic on Her Election Flyers. It Turned Out to be Gibberish.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is facing criticism over a campaign mailer featuring a nonsensical Arabic translation of election information, including the last day voters can cast their ballot. The campaign leaflet features Arabic script in which the characters appear in reverse order and are disconnected, deviating from standard Arabic script requirements.

The mistake drew attention after Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, a journalist, criticized the gaffe on X (formerly Twitter). He remarked that the disorganized script was emblematic of Ocasio-Cortez’s disconnect with Arab voters.

The incorrect Arabic also drew comments from Meir Javedanfar, an Iranian studies professor at Reichman University. He equated the flyer mishap with Ocasio-Cortez’s understanding of Middle Eastern affairs, labeling it “gibberish.”

Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign did not appear to have caught the error until Shihab-Eldin and others noted the mistake. The New York Democratic Party lawmaker had posted images of the mailer on social media but quickly deleted them after criticism began to roll in. As part of her campaign, Ocasio-Cortez has been vocal about reducing military aid to Israel, accusing the Jewish state of committing acts of genocide against Palestinians.

The social media post accompanying the campaign material pointed out efforts to mobilize New Yorkers in five languages, advancing support for Vice President Kamala Harris, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), and Ocasio-Cortez herself. According to the Democrat, her campaign has sent mailers in 800 languages, including English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, French Creole, and Bengali. It is unclear how many suffer from translation and grammatical issues which render them unintelligible.

Trump Now Winning Amongst Arab American Voters!?

A recent survey by the Arab American Institute indicates a shift in Arab-American voter preferences, with a slight majority planning to support former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election. The poll reveals that 42 percent of Arab-American voters are inclined to vote for Trump, compared to 41 percent favoring Harris. Trump’s lead increases among those who say they’re “very likely to vote,” with 46 percent supporting him versus 42 percent for Harris.

Vice President Harris has gained some popularity among Arab Americans compared to Joe Biden post-October 7; however, her support is still 18 points below what Biden secured in 2020. The survey also shows that 46 percent of Arab Americans prefer the Republican Party to maintain control of the House, as opposed to 43 percent favoring the Democratic Party.

Enthusiasm among Arab-American Democrats stands at 67 percent, whereas 80 percent of Republican counterparts express similar enthusiasm. A majority of 55 percent of Arab-American voters aged 18 to 29 report a lack of enthusiasm about the election.

ISRAEL.

The Biden-Harris government’s policies regarding Israel and Gaza are a crucial factor in diminishing Democratic support. Of those surveyed, 81 percent consider the Gaza crisis significant in their voting decision, rising to 95 percent among Arab-American Muslims.

Following the debate between Trump and Harris, Reem Abuelhaj of the No Ceasefire No Vote organization warned that Harris being “pretty clear… that she will continue Biden’s policy of unconditional military and financial support for Israel’s war on Gaza” will leave many Muslim voters feeling “unable to cast their ballot for a candidate who is actively supporting genocide.”

The Uncommitted National Movement that tried to pressure Biden into taking a more anti-Israel stance during the Democrat primaries is refusing to endorse Harris. Meanwhile, Amer Ghalib, the mayor of Muslim-majority Hamtramck, Michigan, is endorsing Trump.

Anti-Israel ‘Uncommitted’ Group Refuses to Back Kamala in Major Michigan Blow.

The Uncommitted National Movement has declared that it will not endorse Kamala Harris. Founded in the swing state of Michigan, where Arab-American and Muslim voters could tip the balance in a closely fought election, the movement initially mobilized to cast “uncommitted” votes against Joe Biden in the Democratic primary to spook him into adopting a more anti-Israel policy.

Refusing to endorse Biden’s successor as Democratic candidate, the Uncommitted National Movement cites Harris’s failure to address their requests for a meeting with Palestinian American families and a discussion about halting arms shipments to Israel.

“Vice President Harris’s unwillingness to shift on unconditional weapons policy or to even make a clear campaign statement in support of upholding existing U.S. and international human rights law has made it impossible for us to endorse her,” the organization declared.

Harris is attempting to drum up support in Michigan by appearing alongside Oprah Winfrey in a Detroit suburb on Thursday. It will be her third visit to the Wolverine State since entering the presidential race.

Following her debate with former President Donald J. Trump, there was criticism of Harris for some pro-Israel remarks. “Vice President Harris has been pretty clear in previous statements, as she was tonight, that she will continue Biden’s policy of unconditional military and financial support for Israel’s war on Gaza,” complained Reem Abuelhaj of the No Ceasefire No Vote organization, warning there are voters who will feel “unable to cast their ballot for a candidate who is actively supporting genocide.”

WATCH: Hidden Camera Reveals Muslims Used Voter Fraud To Gain Power In This U.S. State.

In a series of undercover videos, Democrat lawmakers and left-wing activists candidly describe how Muslim activists gamed state election laws—and in many instances violated those laws—ostensibly to the benefit of the Democratic Party. They detail how Muslims in the state have used a combination of voter fraud, ballot harvesting, and intimidation to gain power in several of the state’s cities.

Karen Majewski, who served as the Mayor of Hamtramck from 2006 until 2021, claims that Muslim candidates would fill out the absentee ballots while sitting in the voter’s dining room. “The absentee ballots are being filled out in people’s dining rooms by the candidates,” Majewski says in the undercover video. Under Michigan law, only close family members or an election official can handle a voter’s absentee ballot and deliver it to a drop box.

According to Majewski, both Michigan’s Attorney General Dana Nessel and federal officials are investigating instances of election fraud perpetrated in the state’s Bangladeshi and Yemeni communities. However, she notes that government officials have declined to address the problems in the past.

In another video, Lynn Blasey—a former candidate for Hamtramck’s city council, claims the Mulsim community held a secret meeting before the 2021 election where absentee ballots were auctioned off to the candidates, with the highest bidder subsequently winning their respective elections.

It should be noted that Hamtramck became the first Muslim-majority city in the United States in 2013, with a population primarily drawn from Yemen, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. In 2021, Hamtramck became the first U.S. locality to elect an all-Muslim city council and mayor. However, some progressive activists now feel betrayed after Muslim lawmakers barred LGBTQ displays on city property in June of last year.

DATA: Arab Americans Prefer Trump Over Biden by 14 Points.

A new poll from the Arab American Institute reveals that former President Donald J. Trump holds a substantial lead over the Democrat incumbent Joe Biden among Arab Americans in crucial battleground states. The survey, published on Thursday, indicates that 32 percent of Arab Americans in Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Virginia would choose Trump, compared to 18 percent for the 81-year-old Biden, reflecting a 14-point advantage for the Republican presidential nominee.

Among the respondents, 25 percent indicated they were “not sure” about their vote, surpassing the number of Biden supporters. Notably, 59 percent of Arab Americans said they had voted for Biden in the 2020 election, signaling a significant shift in voter sentiment.

In state-specific results, Trump leads substantially in Florida, with 44 percent support against Biden’s 8 percent. In Michigan, Trump garners 28 percent compared to Biden’s 15 percent. Pennsylvania shows a 44 to 29 percent lead in favor of Trump. In Virginia, the race is tight, with both candidates at 22 percent, while “not sure” accounts for 23 percent of the responses.

The poll highlights that 79 percent of Arab Americans who identify as Republicans support Trump, while just 46 percent of Arab American Democrats back Biden. Among independents, 27 percent support Trump, 13 percent favor Biden, and 33 percent remain uncertain.

The survey reveals that Biden‘s support is notably weak among young and foreign-born Arab Americans, with just 8 percent of individuals aged 18 to 34 and 10 percent of foreign-born Arab Americans expressing support for Biden. The primary concern for Arab Americans is the ongoing conflict in Gaza, with 60 percent identifying it as their top issue. Only 5 percent of respondents approve of Biden’s handling of the situation.

‘Khallas!’ Arab American Leaders Declare Blinken Meeting a Failure.

A lengthy Friday night meeting between Joe Biden‘s Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Arab American leaders proved less than productive for the 81-year-old Democrat incumbent’s efforts to shore up the critical voter demographic. The representatives from the Arab American community, a critical voter block in the presidential election battleground state of Michigan, ended with the community leaders expressing their continued dissatisfaction with the Biden government’s handling of U.S.-Israel policy.

Warren David, president of Arab America — a national media organization covering the Arab world — expressed the community’s frustration, stating there is little the Biden government could do to mend its deteriorating relationship with Arab Americans. “In Arabic, we say ‘khallas,'” David said in a recent interview with NOTUS. “Khallas” roughly translates to “finished, enough” or “done.” David attended the meeting alongside nearly a dozen representatives from six Arab American organizations.

ARAB AMERICAN AGENDA.

The leaders presented Blinken with their long-standing demands, collectively called the “Arab American Agenda.” These include an immediate ceasefire, the return of all hostages, a complete Israeli military withdrawal from Gaza, and unimpeded humanitarian assistance to Palestinians. The community has championed these points for months amid continued U.S. support for Israel’s military actions against the Hamas terrorist group.

Despite the meeting extending beyond its planned 45 minutes, participants left feeling their concerns were inadequately addressed. “He said, ‘Thank you, I understand where you’re coming from,'” David said of the meeting with Blinken. He added: “He just kind of left it at, he will, you know, take into consideration what we said.”

The Biden campaign has scrambled to shore up support among Arab and Muslim American voters in Michigan before November’s presidential election. The critical voting bloc, in part, turned out against the Democrat incumbent during the state’s primary election, setting off alarm bells among national Democrats.

DATA: Biden’s Support Plummets Among Minority, Democrat Voters.

Joe Biden’s re-election campaign continues to struggle among critical Democratic Party voter demographics. A new poll from Rasmussen Reports shows the 81-year-old Democrat incumbent falling to just 61 percent support among Black voters. Meanwhile, only 70 percent of registered Democrats say they plan to cast a ballot for Biden in November’s presidential election.

The voter survey offers little positive news for Biden as he faces mounting criticism from voters over his muddled stance on Israel’s war against Hamas, the state of the American economy, and the ongoing border crisis. Among Hispanic voters, Biden trails former President Donald Trump 41 to 33 percent.

In 2020, Biden won Black voters by a margin of 92 percent for former President Trump‘s 8 percent. The low level of support for Biden among Black Americans suggested by Rasmussen Reports would all but doom Biden’s chances in November. Former President Trump, meanwhile, registered 21 percent support among Black voters in the same poll.

Israel’s war in Gaza against the Hamas terrorist group also continues to pose a problem for the Biden campaign. Muslim and Arab American voters have turned on the Democrat incumbent over his perceived support for the Jewish state following Hamas’s barbaric October 7 terrorist attacks. This has especially become a problem for Biden in the critical swing state of Michigan, which has a large Arab American population.

The new data from Rasmussen Reports aligns with previous surveys showing low enthusiasm for Biden among minority and young voters. Polling continues to indicate the economy, jobs, illegal immigration, crime, and inflation are the top issues for voters in the 2024 election — all areas where Biden struggles against former President Trump.

‘I’ll Take a Muslim Ban Over Genocide’ — Michigan’s Arabs Resolute in Forcing Biden Out.

The perception that Joe Biden is unmovable in his support for Israel’s war against the Hamas terrorist group may already have delivered a mortal wound for his presidential re-election efforts in Michigan. Despite Biden campaign officials attempting to shore up support among Arab-American and Muslim voters, some are insinuating they’d rather see former President Donald Trump returned to the White House.

Palestinian-American comedian Amer Zahr puts the problem Biden faces among the crucial demographic for Michigan Democrats in stark terms. “What do they say? ‘What are they going to do, vote for the guy that banned Arabs?’ And the answer is yes,” he said. He continued: “Imagine thinking it’s a good argument to say to a community that has lost 30,000 people, ‘Watch out for the guy that’s going to ban you.’ You’re really asking me whether I’m going to take a ban or a genocide? I’ll take a ban.”

“If it came down to Trump and Joe Biden, I will vote for Trump. Because it doesn’t get worse than Joe Biden,” a Dearborn man identified as Salah said in a recent interview with Slate. A man named Amad added, “Biden was supposed to be the peacemaker. The comfort-maker. Instead, he became accessory to the biggest genocide in modern history.”

While the Biden campaign has intensified efforts at outreach among Michigan’s large population of Muslim voters, the Middle Eastern residents of the state seem to believe it is too little too late.

“We want to show a shift from the 2020 election to 2024. That they are not only losing the presidency, but they are losing the constituency,” Salah said. Another man, named Mohamed, said he cast his primary vote for former President Trump in the state’s primary and intends to vote for him in the November general election as well. As it stands, Biden currently trails Trump in most presidential election polls in Michigan.
