Feds and Military Claim East Coast Drone Sightings Are Just Hobbyists.

Federal and military officials have announced that mysterious drone sightings reported along the East Coast are not indicative of any malicious activity, nor do they pose a threat to public safety. The announcement, issued Monday night, is a joint statement from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Department of Defense (DOD).

“Having closely examined the technical data and tips from concerned citizens, we assess that the sightings to date include a combination of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones, and law enforcement drones, as well as manned fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and stars mistakenly reported as drones,” the Biden government statement reads, adding: “We have not identified anything anomalous and do not assess the activity to date to present a national security or public safety risk over the civilian airspace in New Jersey or other states in the northeast.”

Currently, America hosts over a million registered drones, and thousands of them are operated daily. This number is expected to rise. The FBI alone received over 5,000 reports recently, leading to approximately 100 investigative leads. Although drone sightings near military sites are noted, they emphasize that it is not uncommon and the Department of Defense is vigilant, working with law enforcement as necessary. Local military commanders are also actively ensuring adequate detection and mitigation resources.

Officials further proposed that Congress should consider advancing counter-UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) ;egislation to better address future threats. This proposed legislation aims to provide broader authority to identify and respond to possible drone-related threats.

Trump on NJ Drones: ‘The Government Knows What Is Happening.’

President-elect Donald J. Trump, addressing the media at his Mar-a-Lago residence on Monday, said the Biden government “knows that is happening” regarding the recent wave of drone sightings over New Jersey. Trump stated unequivocally that the U.S. military knows what the drones are and what their origin is—speculating the devices were unlikely under the control of a hostile power.

“The government knows what is happening,” the President-elect said. “Look, our military know where they took off from—if it is a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went. And for some reason, they don’t want to comment, and I think they’d be better off saying what it is. Our military knows, and our president knows, and for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense.”

“I can’t imagine it’s the enemy because if it was the enemy, they’d blast it… Even if they were late, they’d blast it. Something strange is going on, and for some reason, they don’t want to tell the people,” Trump said. “And they should because the people are really—I mean, they happen to be over Bedminster, they’re very close to Bedminster. I think maybe I won’t spend the weekend in Bedminster. I decided to cancel my trip.”

When asked if he’d received any classified intelligence briefings on the drone activity, President-elect Trump replied: “I don’t want to comment on that.”

DRONE THEORIES.

Over the weekend, a TikTok video featuring a man claiming to be a military-grade drone manufacturer gained significant attention. The video speculated that the drones might be part of a surveillance effort linked to a potential gas leak or detection of radioactive material. This theory gained traction after popular podcast host Joe Rogan discussed it.

However, others on social media, including Samuel Hammond—the senior economist for the technology policy nonprofit Foundation for American Innovation—speculate that the sights are likely experimental U.S. Navy recon and logistics drones running test flights between Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and ships offshore. The base includes Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst.

The FBI is Investigating Drone Sightings Near President-Elect Trump’s Bedminster Golf Club.

The Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday that recent drone sightings within the county and other parts of New Jersey are under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The unusual drone activity has sparked enough concern for Hunterdon County Commissioner John Lanza to seek a public briefing.

Lanza, the liaison to the Sheriff’s Office and Department of Public Safety, emphasized that some reports describe drones hovering over residential areas for extended periods. Meanwhile, other accounts mention drones flying in clusters, sometimes as large as eight.

Sightings of drones near President-elect Donald J. Trump’s Bedminster golf club, located just east of Hunterdon County, are especially concerning. In response to the drone incursions, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced it was implementing temporary flight restrictions in several parts of the state.

“At the request of federal security partners, the FAA published two temporary flight restrictions (TFRs) prohibiting drone flights over Picatinny Arsenal Military Base and Trump National Golf Club Bedminster,” the agency said.

“Drones are considered aircraft, and their operation is subject to strict regulations by the FAA,” Lanza noted, pointing to the potential regulatory implications. The sheriff’s office reiterated the importance of recognizing unauthorized drone use as a significant threat to public safety, privacy, and national security.

Residents are advised against interacting directly with any drones that might have experienced mechanical issues. Instead, authorities should be promptly notified to handle the situation.

EXC: Bannon & Kushner Reconcile Over ‘Sound of Freedom’ Movie at Bedminster.

BEDMINSTER, New Jersey – The Sound of Freedom movie, highlighting the scourge of child sex trafficking, has brought audiences together across America, and media haters together on the internet. Now, it appears the film has reunified two unlikely figures in previously sworn enemies: Jared Kushner and Stephen K. Bannon.

The son-in-law of the 45th President of the United States and his former Chief Strategist grew quickly estranged in the Trump White House, with the former accusing the latter of leaking, and the latter blasting back against Kushner’s New York liberal instincts in government.

But the pair accidentally found each other at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster on Wednesday night, as President Trump screened the Sound of Freedom movie for his club members, as well as an inner circle of influencers, writers, and reporters, including The National Pulse.

“This movie can unite the country. It’s already united Jared, Ivanka, Kellyanne and Steve Bannon,” joked the War Room host from the stage last night, in a nod to how fractious it became between the four in the White House.

Donald Trump himself has already ruled out a return to the administration for members of his family, telling Fox News’s Bret Baier, “that’s enough for the family,” before adding, “It’s too painful for the family, my family has been through hell.”

Both Jared and his wife Ivanka Trump were in attendance for the special screening of Sound of Freedom on Wednesday night, as were top MAGA-world officials and influencers such as Susie Wiles, Boris Epshteyn, Jason Miller, Chris La Civita, Karli Bonne, Jack Posobiec, Paul Ingrassia, Tanya Posobiec, Olivia Ingrassia, J.R. Majewski, Natalie Winters, Gavin Wax, Alexandra Preate, and more.
