Greenland PM Gives Major Indication of Future U.S. Involvement.

Greenland wants to enhance its cooperation with the United States in defense and exploring the island’s vast mining resources, including valuable rare earth minerals. Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Greenlandic Prime Minister Mute Egede appeared to be encouraged by President-elect Donald J. Trump’s overtures to acquire the territory, saying, “This is the first time Greenland has been listened to in an intense way”—an apparent snub to Denmark, which it is currently united with under the Danish crown.

“We need to be calm and take advantage of things and stand together,” Egede said, adding that his government, the Naalakkersuisut, declaring his willingness to open a dialogue with the incoming Trump administration. President-elect Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., has already visited the island and met with locals, pledging the U.S. would treat them well.

Egede has previously said Greenlanders want to be neither Danish nor American but independent. With a population of only around 70,000, the territory may find a protectorate-style arrangement with the U.S. more beneficial than its current relationship with Denmark. Ethnically, the population is overwhelmingly Inuit, with fewer than ten percent of residents being ethnic Danes.

Polls show that a clear majority of Greenlanders want independence from Denmark, but not if it lowers living standards.

In his latest statement, Egede said, “Greenland’s independence is Greenland’s business, also in relation to the use of its land, so it is also Greenland that will decide what agreement we should come to,” referring in particular to the possible expansion of the U.S. military presence on the island.

Trump and Putin Plan Meeting to End Ukraine War.

President-elect Donald J. Trump announced plans for a meeting with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin late Thursday. At a press briefing at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, Trump mentioned, “President Putin wants to meet” and noted that arrangements are underway. He emphasized the importance of resolving the conflict, describing it as “a bloody mess.” Previously, Trump suggested that he would aim to end the war in Ukraine, which is nearing its third anniversary, within 24 hours of taking office.

Russia has expressed willingness to engage in diplomatic talks. On Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Putin is open to engaging with international leaders, including Trump, without preconditions, stressing the need for mutual political will.

While Moscow welcomes Trump’s attempts at dialogue, specifics regarding the meeting’s date remain undetermined.

Ukraine, facing battlefield setbacks, is attempting to resist Russian advances in its eastern regions. Still, Russian forces continue to make gains, recently claiming to have captured the front-line city of Kurakhove, near the key logistical hub of Pokrovsk.

Trump has adjusted his timeline for ending the conflict, now suggesting it can be resolved in six months, while his special envoy appointee, Keith Kellogg, targets 100 days.

Joe Biden announced an additional $500 million in military aid for Ukraine on Thursday.

Lib Actor Attacks TRUMP over LA Fires, Gets Inauguration Date Wrong.

Actor Eric Braeden, a German immigrant known for his role in The Young and The Restless, has attacked President-elect Donald J. Trump for his response to the California wildfires. Braeden, who has had to evacuate his house as multiple fires burn thousands of acres and structures in the Golden State, told CNN the disaster is “the price we pay for living in this beautiful area.”

“California’s a fantastic state. It’s one of the most productive states in the nation—not according to the orange idiot who will take over on the 25th of January or whatever, but it is truly one of the most productive states ever in the United States,” said the 83-year-old, getting the date of Trump’s January 20 inauguration wrong.

“To be very frank with you, I think everyone is really trying to do their damn best, OK?” Braedan said of the management of the wildfires. “And some idiot—the orange idiot—went on television… and claimed all kinds of things about [California Governor Gavin] Newsom and California and the water distribution. All nonsense,” he added.

Trump has long argued that massive quantities of water could be diverted to areas of California prone to wildfires, but he says Newsom has blocked the proposed infrastructure changes to protect fish living in the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta.

State and local officials are also facing backlash for cutting fire budgets, reallocating fire spending to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hiring, and giving away fire equipment to Ukraine.

Banana Republic: Judge Merchan Sentences President-Elect Trump in NY ‘Hush Money’ Case.

Democrat-aligned New York Judge Juan Merchan sentenced President-elect Donald J. Trump on Friday for 34 counts of business record fraud. The court is imposing an ‘unconditional discharge,’ meaning that Trump will serve no prison time. However, the President-elect will now officially be a convicted felon just before he is inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States—which appears to be the main aim of Merchan and his Democratic Party allies.

Late yesterday, the United States Supreme Court declined to intervene in the sentencing. In a 5-4 decision, the justices ruled that they would prefer to see the appeals process play out before involving themselves in the case. They also cited Merchan’s public pledge to impose only an ‘unconditional discharge’ as the sentence and not assign Trump any prison time.

Last year, a New York City jury found Trump guilty of dozens of counts of business record fraud, which had been elevated to felonies through a dubious legal theory pushed by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. The trial, which began on April 22, saw 17 days of witness testimony and arguments. Bragg, who brought the 34 felony charges against Trump, pinned much of his case on the testimony of serial perjurer and disgraced lawyer Michael Cohen.

The New York prosecution was part of a larger lawfare campaign brought against Trump by the Biden government and the Democratic Party. In addition to the Bragg prosecution, Trump also faced two federal trials and another state case in Georgia. However, only Bragg’s New York prosecution—arguably the weakest of the four cases—successfully resulted in a conviction and sentencing.

Merchan has repeatedly been criticized for his partisan alignment with the Democratic Party. The judge’s daughter, Loren Merchan, has deep ties to Democratic Party candidates and political groups, including those involved in partisan lawfare.

REVEALED: Zuckerberg Met With Trump Before Ending Biased Fact-Checking Program.

Meta CEO and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg met with President-elect Donald J. Trump just before announcing his social media platforms would end their relationships with “fact-checkers.” Instead, Zuckerberg says his companies will use a community notes model like that implemented on Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter). Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) revealed the timing of Trump’s meeting with the Meta CEO during a recent interview.

According to Mullin, the meeting took place the day before Zuckerberg’s announcement regarding the new moderation approach. Mullin states, “Mark met with President Trump the day before he announced that they were going to change the way that they do censorship, essentially.” He also noted that Zuckerberg had visited the President-elect on several occasions.

Additionally, Mullin shared a personal interaction with Zuckerberg, revealing that the Meta CEO had invited him to spar. Mullin, a former mixed martial arts fighter, stated that Zuckerberg had texted him several times, expressing interest in engaging in jiu-jitsu practice together. Zuckerberg conveyed his desire to spar in a cage fight scenario, saying he “would love” to train together.

Some observers have interpreted Zuckerberg’s policy shift away from “fact-checkers” as an attempt to strengthen his rapport with the President-elect. Speculation suggests this move could be influenced by a forthcoming antitrust trial scheduled for April.

Meanwhile, The National Pulse has reported that Zuckerberg has elevated Bush-era Republican strategist Joel Kaplan to Meta’s Head of Global Policy, replacing Sir Nick Clegg, the liberal former Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Kaplan joins establishment GOP consultant Brian Baker who was brought on to improve Zuckerberg’s relations with Republican lawmakers late last year.

This Democrat Senator Will Be the First to Meet With Trump.

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) will be the first among his colleagues to sit down at Mar-a-Lago with President-elect Donald J. Trump. The Pennsylvania Democrat has signaled an openness—unlike many in his party—to working with the Trump White House to speedily confirm the President-elect’s cabinet nominations, as well as to secure the border and remove violent illegal immigrants from the country. In addition, Fetterman has voiced support for Trump’s proposal to buy Greenland from Denmark.

“That is the plan. Yes, we are going to have a conversation,” Fetterman said of the impending meeting. He continued: “I think that one, he’s the President, or he will be officially, and I think it’s pretty reasonable that if the President would like to have a conversation—or invite someone to have a conversation—to have it.”

“And no one is my gatekeeper,” the Pennsylvania Democrat added.

Still in his first term in the United States Senate, Fetterman has developed a reputation as a politician prone to bucking even some of his party’s most sacred cows, including immigration policy. On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania Senator backed the passage of the Laken Riley Act—which requires the automatic detention of illegal immigrants who commit theft or burglary—and shamed fellow Democrats who would not support the bill.

The Democrat Senator also backed President-elect Trump’s call to block Japanese-owned Nippon Steel’s proposed takeover of U.S. Steel—with lame-duck President Joe Biden acquiescing to their demand.

In addition, Fetterman has emerged as one of the Senate’s most staunch supporters of Israel, while much of his party catered to its more radical, pro-Hamas activist base.

Fani Willis Appeals Disqualification in Trump Georgia Case.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has submitted an appeal to the Georgia Supreme Court, seeking to overturn her recent disqualification from her prosecution of President-elect Donald J. Trump. Willis alleges Trump and his co-defendants interfered with and attempted to overturn Georgia’s 2020 U.S. presidential election results.

Last month, the Georgia Court of Appeals removed Willis from the case, citing a “significant appearance of impropriety” attributed to her relationship with former special prosecutor Nathan Wade, whom she appointed to the case. In her appeal, filed late Wednesday, Willis argues that the appeals court committed an error in disqualifying her solely based on the appearance of a conflict of interest without substantiating an actual conflict.

She contended that no previous Georgia court has disqualified a district attorney under such circumstances. Willis further criticized the ruling, describing it as an “overreach” and asserting that it improperly instituted a new standard for disqualification.

The case, presently paused as Trump and his co-defendants contest Willis’s involvement, remains unresolved regarding who will assume her role as prosecutor. The decision about the future course of the prosecution rests with the Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia.

The National Pulse reported earlier on Thursday that Willis has been ordered to pay $21,578 in attorney’s fees following her office’s noncompliance with Georgia’s Open Records Act (ORA). The legal watchdog group, Judicial Watch, had sought documents pertaining to Willis’s communications with Representative Bennie Thompson (D-MS) when the latter chaired the January 6 Select Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Los Angeles Wildfires Rage On, Forcing Over 100,000 to Evacuate.

Five separate wildfires now rage in the greater Los Angeles region, burning nearly 30,000 acres. The conflagrations have forced over 100,000 people to evacuate from the Los Angeles metro area, the second-largest metro area in the U.S. Tragically, as of Thursday, at least five people have died in the Eaton Fire, the second-largest of the wildfires.

Despite the unprecedented destruction—likely to be the most expensive disaster outside earthquakes in California’s history—the high winds that have fueled the blazes are forecasted to subside during the day, meaning firefighters will be able to use helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft to dump water on the fires. However, the powerful Santa Ana winds are projected to regain strength Thursday evening into Friday morning. Currently, the Palisades Fire (the largest), the Eaton Fire, and the Sunset Fire (the smallest) are zero percent contained. Meanwhile, the Hurst Fire is just 10 percent contained, while the Lidia Fire is 40 percent contained.

While California Democrats have attempted to blame the wildfires on climate change, President-elect Donald J. Trump continues to reiterate his long-held stance that the state’s poor fire and water management policies are to blame. Throughout his first term in office, Trump repeatedly pointed to California’s inaction in clearing brush and the lack of controlled burns to remove dried plant matter and other materials that fuel wildfires.

In a post on Truth Social, President-elect Trump blasted Governor Newsom (D-CA) and President Joe Biden for their “gross incompetence and mismanagement,” which he blames for the fires. The President-elect also noted that “[t]he fires in Los Angeles may go down, in dollar amount, as the worst in the History of our Country.”

Judge Orders Fani Willis to Pay THOUSANDS in Fees.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been ordered to pay $21,578 in attorney’s fees following her office’s noncompliance with Georgia’s Open Records Act (ORA). The ruling results from a lawsuit brought by Judicial Watch—a legal watchdog group—after they filed an open records request regarding Willis’s communications with the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riots. Initially, Willis’s office claimed no such records existed.

However, the court discovered that Willis had withheld key documents, including a letter she sent to the chair of the January 6 committee, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS). Under legal pressure, she acknowledged the documents’ existence but insisted they were exempt from disclosure, a claim the court dismissed.

Judge Robert McBurney, who issued the ruling, criticized the DA’s office, pointing out that the records request was ignored until Judicial Watch’s lawsuit. He asserted that the “Records Custodian’s own admission” highlighted this noncompliance. McBurney noted, “No one searched until prodded by civil litigation.”

In his decision, Judge McBurney revealed the extent of the violations, mandating that Willis’s office cover Judicial Watch’s legal fees. Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch’s President, criticized Willis for her actions, stating the court was correct in penalizing her and demanding the payment. He emphasized that the ultimate goal was to uncover what he described as Willis’s “political collusion” with the January 6 committee, allegedly aimed at targeting President-elect Donald J. Trump. The payment must be made by January 17, 2025.

Meanwhile, in December last year, a Georgia appeals court removed Willis from her prosecution of President-elect Trump. The appellate judges ruled that an earlier decision by a lower court to allow Willis to remain as prosecutor failed “to prevent an ongoing appearance of impropriety.”

Even CNN is Openly Mocking Joe Biden Over His Latest Election Claim.

Lame-duck President Joe Biden‘s insistence that he could have defeated President-elect Donald J. Trump in the 2024 presidential election is “absolutely bonkers,” according to data guru Harry Enten. In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter), the CNN analyst breaks down just how far Biden trailed Trump when the 82-year-old Democrat announced he would exit the race in late July—noting that polling data in no way reflects the claim.

“Based on the polling data, I categorize Biden’s statement that he could have beaten Trump as ‘flat out bonkers,'” Enten states on X. He adds: “Biden was well behind Trump when he dropped out. Biden never led in all of 2024. And no incumbent president who was anywhere near as unpopular as Biden has ever won.”

Despite all evidence, Biden and a handful of aides in his inner circle insist that he, and not any other Democrat, stood the best chance against Trump. However, in the video, Enten emphasizes: “The bottom line is this: Joe Biden was behind, he had always been behind, and he most likely would have stayed behind.”

Biden withdrew from the presidential race on July 21, 2024, amid mounting pressure following a catastrophic performance in a CNN debate in June, which led to heightened scrutiny about his advanced age, cognitive decline, and capability to serve a full term. He subsequently endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to continue the Democratic Party’s presidential campaign.

Despite the data, Biden expressed confidence in an interview with USA Today‘s Susan Page, maintaining he would have defeated Trump if he had stayed in the race. Nevertheless, he appeared uncertain about whether he would have been able to serve until the end of a potential second term, saying, “Who the hell knows?”
