Trump’s Stunning Return to ‘X’ Panics EU & UK Govts. Here’s Why…

Former President Donald J. Trump has returned to X (formerly Twitter) with a string of posts made just after noon on Monday. The 2024 Republican presidential nominee had largely been absent from the social platform since the then-sitting President’s account was suspended on January 8, 2021, by the company’s former ownership under Jack Dorsey.

Since his suspension over three years ago, the former Republican President founded his own social media company, Truth Social, which went public earlier this year—earning Trump billions. Over the past two years, an exclusivity agreement with Truth Social had largely kept Trump from other social media platforms. However, it is believed that the deal has since expired.

Trump’s first post on X—since he posted his Georgia mugshot on August 24, 2023—came just after 11:00 AM in the form of a 2-minute video regarding the Biden-Harris Department of Justice’s (DOJ) lawfare campaign against him. However, some speculated that the video may have just been a mis-posted ad, as the Trump campaign began running paid political ads on the former President’s account late Sunday night.

However, just after noon, the social media account saw a series of messages starting with the former President posting: “Are you better off now than you were when I was president?”

“Our economy is shattered. Our border has been erased. We’re a nation in decline,” Trump continued before adding: “Make the American Dream AFFORDABLE again. Make America SAFE again. Make America GREAT Again!”

Since then, the former President has taken to X to promote his interview with the social platform’s owner, Elon Musk, which is set to happen Monday at 8:00 PM. In addition, Trump has posted several other campaign-related videos, including one highlighting his opponent, Kamala Harris‘ radical liberal record.

EU PANICS.

The European Commission, the executive branch of the European Union, is now threatening tech billionaire and X owner Elon Musk, demanding he censor his August 12 evening interview with former President Donald J. Trump. European Commissioner Thierry Breton posted a letter on X, demanding Musk adhere to the E.U.’s Digital Services Act (DSA), specifically about spreading any disinformation, hatred, or incitement to violence.

Thierry’s letter also mentions recent unrest, referring to the anti-mass migration protests and riots in the U.K. over the last two weeks. Musk has been vocal about his criticism of the U.K. government’s handling of the situation, specifically the accusations that British police engage in two-tier policing practices, with allegations they have allowed Muslim mobs to run riot while cracking down hard on white British protestors.

UK GOVT PANICS.

U.K. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer also attempted to issue a warning to Musk last week. The technology mogul was told that it was dangerous to call out two-tier policing, which Starmer claimed put officers in danger.

Now, The National Pulse understands the British government will be tuned into the Trump-Musk interview, nervous of what both men might say about the nation’s crackdown on free speech and mass arrests of anti-mass migration activists.

According to E.U. Commissioner Breton, the bloc is ready to “make full use of our toolbox, including by adopting interim measures,” against Musk and X if the E.U. feels the Trump interview violates E.U. regulations.

Social media users immediately labeled the letter a sign of foreign election interference in the U.S.’s 2024 presidential race, while Musk replied, “Bonjour!” In another post, Musk appears to brush off the threats, likening Breton to a French character from the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

The European Union has been threatening censorship and action against Musk for months under the DSA, with Breton declaring last December that the bloc was going after X. Musk, meanwhile, went public in July about an alleged illegal secret deal the European Union offered to tech giants to quietly censor posts on their respective platforms.

“The European Commission offered X an illegal secret deal: if we quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine us. The other platforms accepted that deal. X did not,” Musk said.

Copycat Kamala Steals Trump’s ‘No Tax on Tips’ Policy.

Kamala Harris plagiarized Donald Trump’s popular ‘no tax on tips’ campaign policy, even unveiling it in the same city as her Republican challenger.

The details: During a rally on Saturday, Harris pledged to “eliminate taxes on tips” for service workers.

Back up: More than two months earlier, on June 9, Trump unveiled his proposal, saying: “We are going to not charge taxes on tips.”

Trading places: Adding to the shamelessness, Harris even unveiled her copycat plan in the same city where Trump did—Las Vegas, Nevada.

Trump reacted, posting on Truth Social: “Kamala has no imagination, whatsoever, as shown by the fact that she played “COPYCAT” with, NO TAXES ON TIPS!”

Hypocrite: Earlier this year, Kamala bragged on X that she was “proud to cast the tie-breaking vote to pass our Inflation Reduction Act.”

However, she failed to mention that the Inflation Reduction Act included strict new rules meant to crack down on service workers’ underreported tips.

Big picture: Harris has been the Democrat nominee for three weeks, but has yet to release a policy platform and has not sat for an interview or press conference to discuss her policies.

Maybe tomorrow Harris will release her plan to ‘build the wall’…

NEW: Bodycam Vid Shows Cop Carnage in Aftermath of Trump Shooting.

Newly released police body camera footage shows the frantic moments after a local Butler, Pennslyvania, law enforcement officer was boosted onto the roof of the American Glass Research building and confronted would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks.

The video sheds new light on the actions taken by local police and lack of communication from the United States Secret Service (USSS) just before Crooks opened fire on the nearby campaign rally, striking former President Donald J. Trump in the ear, wounding two others, and killing rallygoer Corey Comperatore.

After being boosted onto the roof, the police officer briefly makes contact with Crooks and then drops back to the ground after assessing that the 20-year-old would-be assassin is armed with a rifle. The officer then retreats to his patrol vehicle to retrieve a high-powered rifle while coordinating with other local law enforcement on the radio. He informs his fellow officers that he was able to assess that Crooks was armed, carrying a backpack, and was “kitted out.”

The footage reveals the officer aggressively directing other law enforcement to the American Glass Research building rooftop, demanding they get eyes on Crooks. He describes the 20-year-old as having long hair and wearing glasses. Throughout the six minutes of footage, local police can be heard frantically coordinating a search for Crooks and attempting to get units on the rooftop.

At no point can the USSS be heard speaking the local police with or acknowledging the situation as it unfolded—strongly suggesting a breakdown in communications left former President Trump’s security detail unaware. During a recent Congressional hearing, USSS acting director Ronald Rowe, Jr. admitted that agency protocols may have prevented timely communication with local police.

While law enforcement was eventually able to place officers on the roof, they were unable to prevent Crooks from opening fire.

REPORT: Pakistani National Tied to Iran Charged With Plotting to Assassinate Trump.

A Pakistani national has been charged in federal court with plotting to assassinate former President Donald J. Trump and other public officials. Federal prosecutors allege the man, named as Asif Merchant, flew to the United States from Pakistan with the intention of hiring hitmen to carry out an attack on Trump and other U.S. lawmakers. Prior to the trip, the suspect is believed to have spent extensive time in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Merchant’s arrest, which occurred last month, became public after criminal filings were unsealed in a New York federal court on Tuesday. The complaint against Merchant does not mention Trump by name. However, an ABC News report confirms that the America First leader was the plot’s intended target.

The National Pulse reported on July 17 that federal law enforcement acknowledged they were aware of an Iranian plot to assassinate Trump before his near-assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said at the time they had received human-sourced intelligence regarding the plot. It now appears that human-sourced intelligence was likely an FBI confidential informant—mentioned in the unsealed complaint—who had made contact with Merchant.

Iran has sought to assassinate Trump and other U.S. officials in response to a September 2020 U.S. drone strike that killed one of the Islamic Republic’s top military commanders, Qassem Soleimani. In March of this year, the FBI’s Miami Field Office announced that it was seeking information about an Iranian intelligence officer, Majid Dastjani Farahani, in connection to alleged assassination plots against current and former U.S. government officials that Iran believes are responsible for Soleimani’s death.

While the Iranian plot was foiled, former President Trump was shot in the ear by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania. Crooks’ motives for the assassination attempt have not been made public.

Secret Service Withheld Intel on ‘High Potential’ for J6 Violence.

The United States Secret Service (USSS) had intelligence suggesting a “high potential for violence” before the January 6 Capitol riot but did not share this information with agents protecting then-President Donald J. Trump, Vice-President Mike Pence, or Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, according to a report released to Congress on Thursday. The report, from Homeland Security Inspector General Joseph Cuffari, was publicized under pressure from Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), revealing significant lapses within the agency.

Additionally, the report claims the USSS failed to properly utilize explosive detection tools at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters on January 6. This oversight led to Harris‘s motorcade coming within 20 feet of an undetected pipe bomb.

The Homeland Security Inspector General report states that traditional explosive detection measures were not fully deployed; only canine teams conducted building sweeps. Even after the bomb was found, the USSS failed to report the building’s evacuation as an unusual protective event.

ECHOES TRUMP RALLY FAILURES.

The report describes these failures as reflective of deeper systemic issues within the USSS. It includes six recommendations for improvement in communication, training, and security tactics, which were presented to USSS leadership in April, months before the assassination attempt on Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennslyvania.

Inspector General Cuffari’s findings also suggest tension between his office and USSS supervisors, who disputed some conclusions. Communication problems, faulty security sweeps, and inadequate threat identification, which were issues leading up to January 6, were identified again in the later rally incident. A significant point was the Protective Intelligence and Assessment Division’s failure to incorporate indicators of potential violence into final assessments for VIP protection.

The report also noted the inadequacy of security sweeps at the DNC, which did not cover the area where the pipe bomb was planted. USSS personnel showed “differing interpretations” of security protocols, compounding the problem. Additionally, there was no proper report of Harris‘ evacuation as an unusual protective event despite it meeting the criteria for such a designation.

Trump Camp Alleges CBS ‘Manipulation’ of Poll That Sees Harris Take Small Lead.

The Donald J. Trump for President campaign is alleging media manipulation of a new poll that shows Kamala Harris taking the lead by one point (i.e. within the margin of error) nationally. The data from CBS and YouGov alleged to show a shift towards Harris on Sunday morning, with over 3,100 people polled from July 30th to August 2nd.

The survey claimed Harris has enthused younger, as well as black and female voters, and that in battleground state, Harris is now tied with Trump. But the Trump campaign shot back, claiming a shift in the poll’s weighting for ideology effectively handed Harris the lead by data manipulation.

“The Fake News Media continue to help dangerously liberal Kamala hide her record of economic failure and soft on crime policies. Now, as this analysis shows they’ll even put a finger on the scale of polling to inflate results for her. This analysis is why the American people are seeing through it and will not allow this national gaslighting campaign to win. Despite this manipulated result, from CBS/YouGov it’s worth noting that in July and August of 2020, their data showed Biden leading by 10 nationally, reflecting a net positive movement of almost +10 to President Trump this election cycle,” said Brian Hughes, Senior Advisor to the Trump campaign.

Trump retains a significant advantage in areas where he traditionally excels. Voters believe they would be financially better off under Trump and that his policies would effectively reduce border migration.

The poll claims most Democratic voters, and nearly half of all voters, report increased motivation to vote with Harris as the Democratic nominee. Harris matches or exceeds Trump in candidate qualities such as cognitive health, energy, and focus.

On policy issues, voters see Harris’s stances as similar to Biden’s.

Study Confirms AI Is Biased Against Conservatives.

Research confirms artificial intelligence (AI) large language models (LLMs) have leftist political preferences. An investigation assessed 24 LLMs, including Google’s Gemini, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, and Elon Musk’s Grok to determine political values, party affiliations, and personality traits.

The research, led by David Rozado of New Zealand‘s Otago Polytechnic University, utilized 11 different political orientation assessments, including the Political Compass Test and Eysenck’s Political Test. The results indicate that the LLMs predominantly produced answers categorized as ‘Progressive,’ ‘Democratic,’ and ‘Green.

The use of AI in products such as search engines has raised concerns, particularly amid accusations from figures like former President Donald J. Trump and Elon Musk that it could interfere in elections. Elon Musk posted a screenshot of a search for ‘President Donald Trump‘ on X (formerly Twitter) which suggested ‘President Donald Duck’ and ‘President Ronald Reagan’ instead. Similar experiences ae reported by X users who claim they receive news about Kamala Harris while searching for Donald Trump.

Previously, Google‘s Gemini caused controversy by refusing to generate images of white people, as well as generating images of ethnic minorities in historically inappropriate contexts—like when asked to depict a Viking. Adobe’s Firefly has engaged in similar historical revisionism, depicting ‘America’s Founding Fathers’ as black and depicting soldiers in Adolf Hitler’s army as racially diverse, among other inaccuracies.

New Video Shows Would-Be Trump Assassin Moving Freely On Roof in Plain Sight.

New footage taken on the phone of Trump rally shooting victim James Copenhaver appears to show the would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks moving across the nearby rooftop just moments before he opened fire. Former President Donald J. Trump was struck in the ear while Copenhaver and another man were wounded. Ralleygoer Corey Comperatore was killed by the gunfire while shielding his family.

The video, taken at 6:08 PM on July 13 as Trump speaks on stage, shows the individual, believed to be Crooks, maneuvering across the gently sloped roof for over a minute. At 6:11 PM, Crooks opened fire. The footage raises further questions regarding United States Secret Service (USSS) protocols and why the former President wasn’t removed from the stage when Crooks was in clear view of rallygoers and security personnel alike.

On Tuesday, an email surfaced authored by a USSS counter-sniper claiming agency supervisors tied the hands of agents on the ground at the rally. “We’ve exposed our inability to protect our leaders due to our leadership,” the USSS sniper said.

In addition, acting USSS director Ronald Rowe, Jr. testified before a Senate joint-committee hearing, stating he was ashamed of the agency’s failure in Butler, Pennslyvania. “What I saw made me ashamed,” Rowe said, adding: “As a career law enforcement officer and a twenty-five-year veteran with the Secret Service, I cannot defend why that roof was not better secured.”

Last week, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) director Christopher Wray acknowledged to Congress that the would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to fly a drone over the rally site and live-stream footage to himself and possibly others. This occurred just hours before Trump took the stage.

WATCH IN FULL: Trump Crushes Hostile ABC Reporter During Rare Black Journalist Convention Appearance.

Former President Donald J. Trump addressed the 2024 National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention in Chicago, Illinois, joining a panel of interviews including ABC News‘s Rachel Scott, Fox News‘s Harris Faulkner, and Semafor‘s Kadia Goba. The discussion began with a lengthy and testy exchange between Scott and Trump, where the ABC News correspondent attacked Trump over attending the event and accused him of being demeaning to black Americans.

The Republican President fired back, calling ABC News a “fake news” network. “I’ve done so much for the black population of this country,” Trump said before listing off his administration’s accomplishments: “Including employment, including opportunity zones with Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina—which is one of the greatest programs ever for black workers and black entrepreneurs.”

“I’ve done so much, and you know, I say this: historically black colleges and universities were out of money. They were stone-cold broke, and I saved them, and I gave them long-term financing, and nobody else was doing it,” he added to sporadic applause. While Scott and Trump were spared throughout the hour-long panel discussion, Trump also fielded less charged and argumentative questions from Faulkner and Goba.

Earlier this week, Karen Attiah, the Global Opinions editor and columnist for The Washington Post, resigned as the co-chair of the NABJ convention in response to former President Trump‘s invitation to speak. “I have decided to step down as co-chair from this year’s #NABJ24 convention in Chicago,” Attiah said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). She added: “To the journalists interviewing Trump, I wish them the best of luck. For everyone else, I’m looking forward to meeting and reconnecting with all of you in the Windy City.”

Following the event, she posted on X: “I am so angry right now. N.A.B.J., this was a colossal mistake.”

Secret Service Acting Director ‘Ashamed’ of Failures Before Trump Assassination Attempt.

U.S. Secret Service (USSS) Acting Director Ronald Rowe Jr. claims the agency is undergoing a series of reforms following its near-disastrous failures before the shooting of former President Donald J. Trump. “What I saw made me ashamed,” Rowe said of his findings at the site of the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania, which saw Trump hit in the ear, two rallygoers badly injured, and another rallygoer killed.

Speaking at a joint hearing by two U.S. Senate committees, Rowe said the Secret Service‘s failure to secure the roof from which gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire is indefensible. “As a career law enforcement officer and a twenty-five-year veteran with the Secret Service, I cannot defend why that roof was not better secured,” he said.

His disgraced predecessor, Kimberly Cheatle, suggested no one was posted to the roof because it was slightly sloped, creating a “safety factor” for agents.

Rowe says future event security plans will now undergo thorough evaluations by multiple experienced supervisors due to the “failure on multiple levels” in Butler.

Texts reveal that counter-snipers sighted Crooks nearly two hours before the shooting but did not detain him or move to have Trump‘s appearance on stage delayed until he could be intercepted.
