Donald Trump announced in Nevada on Sunday that he will push for changes to the tax code if he is reelected, eliminating federal taxes on service workers’ tips.
“This is the first time I’ve said this, and for those hotel workers and people that get tips, you’re going to be very happy because, when I get to office, we are going to not charge taxes on tips,” Trump pledged. “We’re not going to do it, and we’re going to do that right away, first thing in office.”
Trump noted that service workers’ tips have long been a “point of contention,” telling them, “You do a great job of service; you take care of people, and I think it’s going to be something that really is deserved.”
Phil Kerpen, a political commentator, noted the policy was a “long-time Ron Paul proposal” and would likely go down well in Nevada, which boasts an expansive hospitality industry.
Ron Paul, the father of Senator Rand Paul, was one of the Republican Party’s most libertarian congressmen, even running for President as the Libertarian Party candidate in 1988.
Trump has made more substantial overtures to Libertarian voters than any Republican nominee in decades, appearing at their national conference earlier this year pitching a “partnership to defeat communism, defeat Marxism, and defeat Crooked Joe Biden, who is destroying our country.”
The party apparatus ultimately declined to back Trump, instead nominating LGBTQ open borders activist Chase Oliver. Much of the Libertarian grassroots may still vote for Trump, however, with Oliver, a former Democrat supporter, being denounced as “a psyop to discredit real libertarian ideals and morals” following his nomination.

Donald Trump’s description of migrant crime as an emerging “new category of crime” continued to be vindicated over the last week, with The National Pulse finding many examples of illegal alien criminals and accused criminals victimizing Americans and eating into public resources.
WOULD-BE COP KILLER.
The highest-profile illegal alien to be criminally charged in recent days is Bernardo Raul Castro Mato, a 19-year-old Venezuelan accused of shooting two New York Police Department (NYPD) officers during a foot chase.
Mato allegedly shot NYPD Officer Christopher Abreu, 26, in the leg, and Officer Richard Yarusso, 26, in the chest, before being brought down by gunfire himself. The Venezuelan is a suspect in several scooter-borne robberies, often targeting women. He crossed the border illegally last summer, but the immigration case against him was closed.
MOST WANTED.
Texas has unveiled a ’10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants’ list, featuring nine at-large pedophiles and one captured murderer who had violated his parole conditions. The ten illegals are all described as ‘White (Hispanic),’ with the Lone Star State offering rewards of up to $5,000 for the top five and $3,000 for the remainder.
“When President Joe Biden took office, he dismantled every effective border policy his predecessor put into place,” commented Governor Greg Abbott. “As a result, we have seen record high levels of illegal immigration, including dangerous criminals and terrorists who are a threat to the public safety of our state and our nation,” he added.
U.S.-FUNDED TERRORIST.
A radical Islamic terrorist who fought with an effectively U.S.-backed al-Qaeda faction in Syria is due to be sentenced in California.
Mura Kurashev, originally from the Russian Federation’s Muslim-majority Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, near Chechnya, sent thousands of dollars to al-Qaeda after crossing the U.S. southern border with his family.
VICTIMIZING THE MOST VULNERABLE.
Rigberto Hoyos-Alban, a Colombian illegal, has been apprehended by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after being charged with four counts of sexual assault and one count of assault against “a person with a severe mental handicap” in Rhode Island.
“This is not the type of individual we want walking the streets of our New England neighborhoods,” said ICE official Todd M. Lyons.
Hoyos-Alban crossed the border illegally in November. Like many of the illegals featured in The National Pulse’s migrant crime round-ups, he was let loose among the public by the local authorities after being charged despite ICE issuing a detainer request against him.
GUATEMALAN PEDOPHILE.
ICE announced it had detained Raul Calderon-Interiano, convicted of sexually abusing a Maryland minor, on Monday. As with Hoyos-Alban, he was set at liberty among the public in defiance of an ICE detainer despite the agency describing him as “a significant threat” to Maryland children.
Baltimore County Detention Center not only refused to honor the ICE detainer against the pedophile, they did not even inform ICE of the date they released him.
THE PACIFIC THEATER.
While the southern border is the main front in the ongoing illegal immigration crisis, other fronts are opening up—not only to the north and off the coast of Florida, but in the Pacific Ocean.
Fourteen Chinese nationals have been convicted of engaging in a conspiracy to transport, move, or attempt to transport or move illegal aliens to the U.S. territory of Guam by boat. However, only two were given prison sentences; short terms of 12 and eight months.
NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE.
Seven suspected people-smugglers have been arrested after driving over two dozen illegals across the southern border packed into a secret trailer compartment.
The migrants were found in a “shack” outside San Antonio, Texas, suffering from heat exhaustion and dehydration. Eleven were hospitalized.
COVER-UP?
Following the shooting of NYPD officers Christopher Abreu and Richard Yarusso, described at the beginning of this round-up, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis “submitted a [Freedom of Information Law] request to see how many crimes are being committed in & around migrant shelters.”
She says city officials have “stonewalled [and] pushed their response time back from May 22 to August 19,” offering this as further “proof that Biden’s ‘innocent asylum seekers’ are NOT being vetted.”
“Are they purposely evading transparency to cover up the facts, or have there have been so many crimes committed by those residing in our city illegally that they need another three months to calculate the numbers?”
“We have a new category of crime. It’s called migrant crime, and it’s going to be worse than any other form of crime,” @realDonaldTrump told Laura Ingraham. pic.twitter.com/FrdQLSFKPB

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and his leadership team are whipping Republican members ahead of a potential vote on legislation that would allow sitting or former presidents to have state-level charges against them moved to federal court. The legislation is a direct response to the guilty verdict against former President Donald J. Trump—for falsifying business records—issued by a Manhattan jury at the end of May.
While on substance, the legislation actually makes sense and would be a sound reform to the American judicial system, and how it treats sitting and current presidents, in the hands of House Republicans, it is more a futile exercise in political messaging. The fact that Speaker Johnson is even having to whip the Republican conference on the matter doesn’t bode well for the legislation’s chances of passage. Even if the slim Republican House majority is able to stop its infighting long enough to adopt the measure, it will die a lonely death in the U.S. Senate, where the Democrat majority almost assuredly will not consider it.
Speaker Johnson isn’t entirely to blame for this futile exercise, however. Johnson is under pressure from some House Freedom Caucus members and other conservatives to take up the measure. This pressure is likely as much motivated by loyalty to former President Trump as it is by hoping to placate angry MAGA voters at home—outraged by Congress’s inaction.
The court venue measure is part of a three-bill package Johnson announced earlier this week. The package included cutting funding to the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ)’s special counsel prosecutions of former President Trump and increasing DOJ oversight.
In early May, The National Pulse reported that House Republicans were more concerned with sanctioning the International Criminal Court (ICC) over Israel than they were with lawfare against Trump.

The Commonwealth of Virginia has moved from “Lean Biden” to “Toss Up” in the latest 2024 Real Clear Politics Electoral College Map. With its 13 electoral votes up for grabs, Virginia could become a critical state in the 2024 presidential election. A Donald J. Trump win in the state would likely signify a Republican landslide election.
Former President Trump came close to retaking Virginia in 2016, narrowly losing the state to Hillary Clinton. However, continued shifting demographics in the state—combined with voter anger over inflation, high housing costs, and rampant illegalimmigration—appear to have made the state competitive again. A recent Fox News poll has shown a collapse in black support for Joe Biden in the state. In 2020, Biden won 81 percent of the state’s black vote. However, in the latest survey, the 81-year-old Democrat incumbent is polling at just 48 percent among black voters.
Meanwhile, Trump has surged in the state among white voters, even regaining ground among those in the demographic with a college education. The latter data point is important as it signals the former Republican President is likely competitive in areas like Henrico County, a wealthy suburban area of Richmond. Henrico is considered a bellwether in the state.
Republicans have struggled in Virginia ever since the state voted for Barack Obama in 20008. Prior to that election, the state had been a fairly reliable Republican bastion. However, the increasing size of the federal government, a burgeoning defense contractor industry, and declining populations in the more rural South-Western Virginia region meant the state very quickly shifted partisan political columns and has become a reliable Democrat state in federal elections. Republicans do remain competitive on the state level.

A group of Republican leaders in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District is urging former President Donald J. Trump to change his endorsement in the contentious congressional race. Trump is backing state Senator John McGuire over incumbent Republican Bob Good, chairman of the House Freedom Caucus.
The group is led by Rick Buchanan, chair of the 5th District Republican Congressional Committee, and comprises about 24 other local Republican leaders.
Buchanan and the other Republicans stated in the letter, “We hope President Trump reconsiders his ill-advised endorsement and stands with the Grassroots America First supporters of Congressman Bob Good.”
In February, The National Pulse reported that Good attempted to crash an event for McGuire supporters held at a pro-Trump store in Virginia. Video of the Republican Congressman shows him in a heated exchange with the store’s owner, Karen Angulo. After several minutes of back-and-forth, Good eventually leaves the venue.
Earlier this week, McGuire rallied with Marjorie Taylor-Greene in Louisa, Virginia, where fewer than 50 people showed up. On Friday night, over 300 showed up for a rally with Bob Good, Steve Bannon, and Dave Brat at Powhatan courthouse.

Washed-up comedian Chelsea Handler made waves during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in 2020, with the clip below resurfacing in recent days. Handler, now nearly 50, expressed outrage regarding her ex-boyfriend and rapper 50 Cent’s endorsement of former President Donald J. Trump. Handler insisted that the rapper, real name Curtis James Jackson III, shouldn’t support Trump simply because he’s black.
“You heard about my ex-boyfriend, right, 50 Cent and his support of […] Donald Trump?” Handler asked Fallon. The late-night host injected: “Yeah, what’s going on between you two? I saw your tweets, and I go, ‘Wait, what’s happening?’ because you said he was your favorite ex-boyfriend, and what does he do? He’s supporting Trump?”
“He says he doesn’t want to pay 62 percent of taxes—which, by the way, isn’t a plan of Joe Biden‘s, that’s a lie—so he doesn’t want to pay 62 percent of taxes because he doesn’t want to go from being 50 Cent to 20 Cent,” Handler replied, rolling her eyes at the end. She continued: “And I had to remind him that he was a black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook.”
Handler acknowledged she hadn’t back from the rapper after reaching out to him but told Fallon she was willing to trade sexual favors if 50 Cent denounced Trump publicly.
In 2012, comedy legend Joan Rivers blasted Handler as a “drunk” and a “whore.” Meanwhile, Adult film actress Jenna Jameson slammed Handler in 2011, calling her a “dried-up old whore.”

An unprecedented fundraising event in Silicon Valley has bolstered Donald J. Trump‘s presidential campaign, raising $12 million on Thursday night. The high-profile event was co-hosted by tech entrepreneur David Sacks at his home, Broadcliff, in Pacific Heights. The fundraiser drew attention for its steep ticket prices, with per-couple tickets selling for $500,000 and per-person tickets priced at $300,000. Despite the costs, the event sold out, reflecting a massive show of support for former President Trump within the tech community.
Attorney and RNC Committeewoman for California, Harmeet Dhillon, shared news of the successful event on X (formerly Twitter), noting that Trump appeared “relaxed, happy, and cracking jokes about AI.” Trump was introduced by Senator JD Vance (R-OH) and then by Sacks himself.
The event attracted notable figures from the entrepreneurial and venture capital sectors, including the Winklevoss twins and various crypto industry leaders. Sacks, his wife Jacqueline, and venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya co-hosted the fundraiser.
This event marks a significant shift in the political landscape of Silicon Valley, where support for Trump has been relatively muted in recent years. The event underscored a willingness among some in the tech sector to publicly support the presumptive GOP nominee as he makes another bid for the presidency.
Trump’s fundraising success comes in the wake of his conviction in New York on 34 felony counts of falsified business records relating to payments recorded as legal fees. Despite these legal challenges, Trump’s campaign is closing the cash gap with Joe Biden’s, which has traditionally benefited from star-studded Hollywood fundraisers. Campaign fundraising figures indicated Trump has pulled in at least $141 million in May.

Former President Donald J. Trump told celebrity psychologist Dr. Phil that “revenge can be justified,” while discussing retribution against his political opponents in a set piece interview this week.
Trump, 77, recalled his decision not to pursue Hillary Clinton after the 2016election. “How would it be [if] I win and I lock Hillary Clinton up? The former president’s wife… I didn’t want to do that,” Trump said.
“I could’ve done that pretty easily. She busted up her phones and she busted up her laptops… She disobeyed a subpoena, and she broke up all this machinery, all this technology, after she got the subpoena,” he observed. However, he “hated” the idea of actually having her imprisoned because he “wanted to bring the country together… through success.”
“Now, the difference is, they’re trying to do it to me, and maybe you could feel different about it, but I don’t feel differently. Retribution is going to be through success,” he added.
However, when Dr. Phil put it to him that he would be too busy to “get even,” the former president warned: “Well, revenge does take time, I will say that. And sometimes revenge can be justified, Phil. I have to be honest.”
DR. PHIL: You have so much to do, you don’t have time to get even. You only have time to get right.
TRUMP: Revenge does take time, and sometimes revenge can be justified; I have to be honest, Phil.
DR. PHIL: But the is country better or worse for them going after you?
Trump’s comments come as he faces a prison sentence in Manhattan. The authorities are also ordering War Room host Stephen K. Bannon to report to prison in July—a move Trump describes as an “American Tragedy.”
Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, wants conservatives to stop being so passive in the face of Democrat lawfare and fight fire with fire. Too many, he says, are rolling over with an attitude of, “Where does it say in this rulebook that we’re allowed to fight back?”
“The way you deal with a sickness is not to wag your finger at it… it needs eviscerating,” Kassam stressed.

Hollywood actor Tom Hanks added a new title to his resume, branding himself a historian while speaking with CNN‘s Christine Amanpour during commemorations for the 80th anniversary of the World War II invasion of Normandy. The CNN host pressed Hanks as to whether he was worried about the state of American democracy and freedom if former President Donald J. Trump retakes the White House in November.
“I think there’s always a reason to be worried about the short term,” Hanks replied, adding: “But I look at the longer term of what happened. I think, look, our constitution says, ‘We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union. That journey to a more perfect union has missteps in it. I can catalog them as much as you can, and you’re a professional journalist and I’m just a guy who makes movies and reads books.”
Amanpour interjected, calling Hanks a “historian” as well. “Okay, and a lay historian. I’ll take that too,” Hanks responded.
“Over the long term, however, we inevitably made progress towards, I think, that more perfect union,” the Hollywood actor continued before adding: “How does it come about? It comes about because, not because of somebody’s narrative of who is right or who is a victim or not. It comes out of the slow melding of the truth to the actual practical life that we end up living.”
Hank’s rambling response suggests that he is neither an apt historian nor someone who has thought very deeply about American democracy—especially in light of the Biden government’s unprecedented lawfare campaign against former President Trump. An incumbent President seeking to jail his top election opponent would appear to be a far greater threat to American democracy than anything elicited from Hank’s thoughts.

Three supporters of former President Donald Trump have been arrested outside Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan. Law enforcement instructed the individuals exercising their First Amendment rights peacefully not to move into the road while they unfurled a giant “law and order” flag. When the strayed into the street, they were promptly arrested, unlike climate-change or BLM protesters who routinely occupy thoroughfares across America, even chanting, “Whose streets? Our streets!” when doing so.
Footage captured by Oliya Scootercaster shows the group chanting “let them go” as police officers detained the three Trump supporters. The incident occurred near Trump Tower in the afternoon, as Toby Keith’s song “Made In America” played in the background.

Upon moving off the street, the supporters were met by NYPD officers. People standing nearby, behind a fence set up at the edge of the area, were heard chanting “F*ck Eric Adams,” the mayor of New York City.
The gathering of Trump supporters outside Trump Tower comes in the wake of the former president’s recent legal troubles. Trump was found guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, further galvanizing his base of supporters.
