WATCH: Dem Rep Raskin Hails Trump Conviction as ‘Victory’ for ‘Democratic Politics.’

Democratic Congressman Jamie Raskin said the quiet part out loud after Donald Trump’s sham conviction in Manhattan. Defenders of the prosecution, brought by a Democrat District Attorney in a Democrat district and overseen by a Democrat-linked judge, claimed it was about upholding the law, not politics. However, Raskin is now gloating Trump’s conviction was “a victory, at least a minor victory, for the rule of law and also for Democratic politics” on CNN.

Raskin has long sought to stop Trump’s reelection, not by persuading the American people not to vote for him but by upending the constitutional order.

In March, he announced he was drafting legislation banning Trump from standing for reelection, arguing the “House of Representatives already impeached Donald Trump for participating in insurrection by inciting it… the House has already pronounced upon that.”

However, Trump was acquitted of these politically-motivated charges in his subsequent Senate trial.

Earlier this month, Raskin announced a push to rig the Supreme Court, where conservatives, including three Trump appointees, are currently in the majority, by creating additional justices, introducing term limits, and imposing an “ethics code” that would make it easier to impeach justices for bogus transgressions.

Raskin has also proposed simply changing the electorate, arguing it is “neither constitutionally required nor historically normal” to prevent non-citizens from voting.

Musk Blasts Trump Conviction as Politically Motivated, Warns ‘Anyone Is at Risk.’

Elon Musk, the tech billionaire owner of Tesla and X, formerly Twitter, has slammed Donald Trump’s sham conviction in Manhattan, describing Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of the former president as politically motivated.

Musk offered his assessment of the trial in response to an X user who had observed that the “first felony conviction of a former U.S. President wasn’t for the Iraq or Afghanistan wars, illegal CIA coups, drone striking weddings, or spying on American,” but for of a supposedly misclassified payment in exchange for a non-disclosure agreement.

“Indeed, great damage was done today to the public’s faith in the American legal system,” Musk wrote.

“If a former President can be criminally convicted over such a trivial matter – motivated by politics, rather than justice – then anyone is at risk of a similar fate,” he added.

Bragg’s team was infested with staffers with a history of endorsing calls for Trump to be impeached and banned from office on social media.

His prosecution team also included Matthew Colangelo, who had previously been a senior official at the Justice Department. Many regard his transfer from the Justice Department to a mere district attorney’s office as suspect and evidence that the Joe Biden regime directly orchestrated the Manhattan prosecution.

Judge Juan Merchan also had strong familial links to Democratic politicians, with his daughter Loren taking many of them on as clients at her Authentic Campaigns firm. She also shared mocked-up images of Trump behind bars on social media.

Trump and his lawyers argued that Merchan was conflicted and should have recused himself, but he refused and imposed a gag order preventing Trump from publicly discussing the Merchan family’s Democrat connections.

Rep. Jim Jordan Demands Anti-Trump NY Prosecutors Appear Before Weaponization Committee.

Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH), chairman of the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of Government (Weaponziation Committee), is demanding that Manthann District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Senior Counsel to the District Attorney Matthew Colangelo appear before Congress on June 13. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Weaponization Committee said the two Democrat attorneys are being asked to “testify about the unprecedented political prosecution of President Trump.”

The committee announcement comes on the heels of a New York jury finding former President Donald J. Trump guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in the Manhattan-based hush money trial brought by Bragg. Democrat-aligned Judge Juan Merchan presided over the case and appeared to purposefully bias the jury in favor of the Manhattan DA and his prosecutors.

In addition to Bragg, Chairman Jordan has requested that Matthew Colangelo — who served as a senior official in the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) prior to joining Bragg’s office — testify as well. The National Pulse has reported extensively on Colangelo and his nearly two-decade history of lawfare against conservative organizations and Republican lawmakers. Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill suspect Colangelo of being a go-between used by the Biden government to coordinate with Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of Trump.

The committee is also set to hear from former Federal Election Commissioner Bradley Smith. Democrat-aligned Judge Juan Merchan essentially barred Smith from testifying in the hush money trial. Smith was set to testify that the payments made to disgraced lawyer Michael Cohen were not in violation of federal campaign finance law. The charges brought by Bragg were predicated on an alleged federal campaign finance violation for which Trump was never changed nor convicted.

Trump Campaign Raises $34.8 Million After Sham Trial Verdict.

Former President Donald J. Trump announced a substantial fundraising haul of nearly $35 million on Friday, less than 24 hours after the guilty verdict against him in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s hush money case. A New York jury found Trump guilty on Thursday of 34 counts of falsifying business records after a weeks-long trial.

The guilty verdict appears to have galvanized Trump’s supporters instead of demoralizing them as the Biden government likely hoped. The volume of traffic to the campaign‘s donation page caused it to crash temporarily late on Thursday. Meanwhile, Friday morning, the campaign announced it had raised $34.8 million in small-dollar donations, nearly doubling its previous single-day record on the WinRed platform.

“From just minutes after the sham trial verdict was announced, our digital fundraising system was overwhelmed with support,” said Trump campaign Senior Advisors Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles in a joint statement. “Despite temporary delays online because of the amount of traffic, President Trump raised $34.8 million from small-dollar donors.”

The Trump campaign highlighted that 29.7 percent of the donors were first-time contributors to the WinRed platform. “President Trump and our campaign are immensely grateful for this outpouring of support from patriots across our country. President Trump is fighting to save our nation, and November 5 is the day Americans will deliver the real verdict,” they added.

Former President Trump’s latest fundraising haul follows an announcement that his campaign — along with the Republican National Committee and affiliated SuperPACs — raised $76 million in April. Last week, the Trump campaign pulled in an additional $25 million during a fundraiser in Houston, Texas.

DATA: Arab Americans Prefer Trump Over Biden by 14 Points.

A new poll from the Arab American Institute reveals that former President Donald J. Trump holds a substantial lead over the Democrat incumbent Joe Biden among Arab Americans in crucial battleground states. The survey, published on Thursday, indicates that 32 percent of Arab Americans in Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Virginia would choose Trump, compared to 18 percent for the 81-year-old Biden, reflecting a 14-point advantage for the Republican presidential nominee.

Among the respondents, 25 percent indicated they were “not sure” about their vote, surpassing the number of Biden supporters. Notably, 59 percent of Arab Americans said they had voted for Biden in the 2020 election, signaling a significant shift in voter sentiment.

In state-specific results, Trump leads substantially in Florida, with 44 percent support against Biden’s 8 percent. In Michigan, Trump garners 28 percent compared to Biden’s 15 percent. Pennsylvania shows a 44 to 29 percent lead in favor of Trump. In Virginia, the race is tight, with both candidates at 22 percent, while “not sure” accounts for 23 percent of the responses.

The poll highlights that 79 percent of Arab Americans who identify as Republicans support Trump, while just 46 percent of Arab American Democrats back Biden. Among independents, 27 percent support Trump, 13 percent favor Biden, and 33 percent remain uncertain.

The survey reveals that Biden‘s support is notably weak among young and foreign-born Arab Americans, with just 8 percent of individuals aged 18 to 34 and 10 percent of foreign-born Arab Americans expressing support for Biden. The primary concern for Arab Americans is the ongoing conflict in Gaza, with 60 percent identifying it as their top issue. Only 5 percent of respondents approve of Biden’s handling of the situation.

GUILTY: Biden Regime Convicts Trump in Banana Republic Case in NY.

The twelve-person jury seated for former President Donald J. Trump‘s Manhattan-based hush money trial has handed down a verdict of guilty on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

The trial, which began on April 22 and ran through this past Tuesday, saw seventeen days of witness testimony and arguments. District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who brought the 34 felony charges against the former President, pinned much of his case on the testimony of serial perjurer and disgraced lawyer Michael Cohen.

With the guilty verdict, the former President could face upwards of 130 years in prison. However, it is more likely that Judge Merchan will order Trump placed on probation or house arrest — though even then the sentence could be suspended pending appeal. The sentencing hearing has been set for July 11, just four days before the Republican National Convention.

DUBIOUS PROSECUTION.

Over the last month, jurors heard from a whose-who of seedy New York media and political scene personalities, including David Pecker, the former CEO of American Media, Inc. (AMI) and publisher of the National Enquirer; pornographic actress and adult entertainer Stormy Daniels; seedy Hollywood entertainment lawyer Keith Davidson; and disbarred attorney Michael Cohen, who was deemed “perverse” and a “serial perjurer” by a federal judge. Other witnesses included several figures in the Trump Organization and the 2016 Trump presidential campaign.

Bragg’s entire case was built on legally dubious grounds, as each of the 34 felony counts for falsifying business records is typically charged as a misdemeanor in New York and has a two-year statute of limitations. However, the Manhattan DA alleged that the creation of the false records was done in the act of committing another crime — though prosecutors never clarified what that crime was. They’ve alluded to a Federal Election Commission (FEC) campaign finance violation, a vague accusation of “interference in the 2016 election,” and a federal tax crime. Both infractions are federal offenses and were not pursued by Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) nor the (FEC).

BIDEN GOVERNMENT LAWFARE.

From the start, it was clear that the prosecution of former President Trump was part of a broader lawfare campaign by the Biden government to interfere in the 2024 presidential election. Matthew Colangelo, a former attorney with the Biden DOJ, left his lucrative career to instead work as an assistant prosecutor under Bragg, specifically for the Trump case. The National Pulse reported that while serving as a federal attorney, Colangelo engaged in a series of politically biased lawfare campaigns against conservative groups and Republican lawmakers dating back to 2011.

Joe Biden has publicly cheered on Bragg’s prosecution — adding further credence to accusations that the 81-year-old Democrat incumbent’s White House is orchestrating the lawfare campaign against Trump.

BIASED JUDGE AND HIS DAUGHTER.

Judge Juan Merchan, who presided over the trial, refused to recuse himself despite a mountain of evidence showing he held personal conflicts with the case. The National Pulse reported extensively on the Democrat-aligned judge and his daughter Loren Merchan‘s ties to national Democrat politicians and anti-Trump dark money groups.

Concerns over Judge Merchan’s motivations and bias culminated with a report by The National Pulse exposing that Loren Merchan’s client, Congressman Daniel Goldman (D-NY), had prepped the prosecution’s star witness, Michael Cohen, for his cross-examination.

A CRIME AGAINST JUSTICE.

Meanwhile, Cohen admitted on the witness stand to stealing upwards of $60,000 from the Trump Organization. Additionally, he was unable to corroborate his story regarding a phone call between himself and former President Trump, where he claimed he confirmed the hush money payment had been made to Stormy Daniels. The disgraced lawyer may also have committed perjury again while on the stand.

Cohen’s credibility as a witness was so lacking that even Judge Merchan acknowledged in his jury instructions that if a juror found Cohen to have lied on the stand, they were to disregard his entire testimony.

Despite Bragg‘s dubious case, Cohen‘s disastrous testimony, and Davidson and Daniels all but admitting they conspired to extort former President Trump, the jury took just 10 hours to reach their verdict.

Trump Can Sue Niece Over NY Times Article, Court Rules.

A New York state appeals court ruled that former President Donald J. Trump can proceed with a lawsuit against his niece, Mary Trump, for her role in providing information to the New York Times for its 2018 investigation into his finances. The Appellate Division in Manhattan determined that Donald Trump has a substantial legal basis to claim that Mary Trump breached confidentiality clauses in a 2001 settlement agreement over the estate of Fred Trump Sr., the former President’s father.

A panel of five judges stated it remains unclear if Mary Trump’s disclosures violated the confidentiality terms and the intended duration of these provisions. Trump’s attorneys announced they planned to seek damages of upwards of $100 million.

Meanwhile, Mary Trump‘s legal team argued that the lawsuit aims to silence criticism and retaliate against truthful free speech. Anne Champion, Mary Trump’s attorney, stated, “Mary has made valuable contributions to the public’s knowledge of the former President with her unique perspective as a family member. We are confident she will be vindicated as the case proceeds.” Additionally, Champion added that Donald Trump “can claim no injury for the publication of truthful information.”

Donald Trump’s lawyer, Alina Habba, expressed intent to hold Mary Trump accountable for what she termed a blatant breach of contract.

The New York Times report challenged claims that Donald Trump was a self-made billionaire, asserting he received approximately $413 million from his father through dubious tax schemes, which Trump denies. After the story’s publication, Mary Trump identified herself as a source for the New York Times in her 2020 book, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.”

Bill Maher: Trump Will ‘Probably’ Be President Again.

In a recent interview with CNN anchor Chris Wallace, comedian and TV host Bill Maher predicted that former President Donald Trump will “probably be president again.” Maher’s comments came during an episode of Wallace’s Max series, “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace,” in which they discussed various topics, including politics, Maher’s affinity for marijuana, and his new book.

A preview clip revealed Wallace’s surprise at Maher’s casual prediction of a Trump victory over Joe Biden. Wallace referenced Maher’s recent remarks on his podcast “Club Random,” where he told Jerry Seinfeld that he would not “go nuts” if Trump were to win. Wallace asked if this indicated Maher thought a second Trump term would not be as troubling or if he had become indifferent. Maher clarified, “I care, but I’m not going to lose my nervous system at every step. This is the guy who’s going to be probably President again.”

“Do you really think so?” Wallace questioned.

“Odds on, yes,” Maher replied. “He’s certainly winning now, and Biden does not look like a very good candidate.”

However, the usually measured Maher also appeared to take a page out of the Biden campaign’s “full Hitler” strategy, suggesting Trump intends to become some sort of dictator. Wallace recalled Maher’s past predictions regarding Trump’s reluctance to concede an election if he lost, which Maher affirmed.

“Starting in 2018, you began predicting that if Donald Trump lost his re-election bid in 2020, he wouldn’t leave,” Wallace noted.
Maher responded, “I said it before he was elected the first time. I kept saying it was a slow-moving coup. It’s happening, and we see the stages of it. The right-wing has convinced themselves that he’s just a buffoonish comedian who says crazy things, but this is very serious. He’s running a much more serious campaign this time.”

Maher has been critical of Biden’s government and his campaign. In March, Maher recommended that Biden replace Kamala Harris with Nikki Haley to increase his reelection chances. The liberal commentator has also been vocal about the far-left that has largely seized control of the Democratic Party. Recently, he described transgenderism as a “TikTok challenge that got out of hand.”

Texas’ Primary Results Reveal Deep RINO Rot.

Dade Phelan, Speaker of the Texas House, narrowly survived a contentious primary runoff against fellow Republican David Covey. The Associated Press declared Phelan the winner of the Texas House District 21 race late on May 28. Unofficial election results indicate that Phelan secured 50.7 percent of the vote against Covey’s 49.3 percent, with about 97 percent of results tallied as of 4:50 AM. ET Wednesday.

The primary runoff occurred amid ongoing turmoil within the Texas GOP, driven by a conflict between supporters of Donald J. Trump‘s Make America Great Again movement and Texas establishment Republican politicians. As Speaker, Phelan presided over the sham impeachment trial of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in September. Paxton was acquitted by the State Senate after Phelan’s star witnesses either recanted or admitted their testimony was made up.

Rick Perry being Rick Perry.

“I think it’s kind of sexy, frankly,” Perry says about being called a RINO, while putting his hand on his head to mimic a rhino’s horn. “When you think about it … it’s one of the baddest boys on the block, right?”https://t.co/BlSKByIxuY

— Jeremy Wallace (@JeremySWallace) February 21, 2024

Trump — along with Paxton and allies like Sid Miller — had urged voters to oust Phelan, framing the race as pivotal in the internal struggle. Despite Phelan’s victory, at least six of his eight allies in the Texas House lost their primary races to conservative and populist challengers. Following Phelan’s victory, Paxton took to social media to express his discontent, suggesting that Democratic voters were responsible for the result. “Democrats just reelected Dade Phelan. We must close our primaries. Now,” he said.

In March, Covey had led Phelan in the initial GOP primary with 46 percent to 43 percent. Needing a majority to avoid a runoff, the election contest moved to a second vote on Tuesday. Over the campaign, Covey questioned Phelan’s conservative credentials and criticized his appointment of Democrats to legislative committee chairs.

We must close our primaries.

Biden’s Embarrassing Philly Flop: ‘Space is Empty.’

Few people attended Joe Biden’s rally in Philadelphia on Wednesday, spelling trouble for the 81-year-old Democrat in the critical swing state of  Pennsylvania. Photographs from New York Post reporter Steven Nelson showed large empty sections of the school gymnasium where the event was held. Nelson noted on X, formerly Twitter, that the space was only about half full, with part of it occupied by the press.

Pennsylvania is critical to Biden’s reelection prospects, but his support in the Keystone State has slipped significantly. A New York Times/Siena College/Philadelphia Inquirer poll this month showed his support among demographics that had been solidly behind him in 2020 has plummeted: youth support is down from 62 percent in 2020 to 47 percent and black and Hispanic support is down from 71 percent to 57 percent.

Photos from President Biden's Philadelphia rally: the school's gym is only about half full of supporters

A good amount of space is empty and spacious press workspace takes up the rest pic.twitter.com/et70d2lpCD

— Steven Nelson (@stevennelson10) May 29, 2024

Biden generated similarly low levels of support at another swing state outing in Atlanta, Georgia, earlier this month. Mere tens of people turned out to see the Democrat at a Mary Mac’s Tea Room event geared towards shoring up his support among black voters. Footage from the sparsely attended gathering shows him shuffling around in a confused state, eliciting a mixture of sympathy and laughter from attendees.

Donald Trump, in contrast, has held rallies attended by tens of thousands of people in the Democratic strongholds of New Jersey and New York in recent weeks, even as he is being dragged through a Manhattan court by a Democratic District Attorney.

Trump’s support in these states — potentially in play despite not having been won by a Republican presidential candidate since 1988 and 1984, respectively — may force the Biden campaign to reallocate resources from its already lackluster swing state efforts.
