Election Data Analyst Dispels Notion That Abortion Will Help Biden Win 2024 Election.

Voter support for abortion access could be offering false hope for Joe Biden‘s 2024 presidential re-election campaign. Election analyst Harry Enten, during a recent appearance on CNN, noted that while Biden leads former President Donald J. Trump on the issue nationally, voters — for the most part — rank abortion low among issues of concern.

“In Arizona, 59 percent believe that abortion should be always or mostly legal. In Nevada, two-thirds, 66 percent,” Enten explained to host John Berman. He added that putting one’s self in the shoes of the Biden campaign, “Yeah, you love the fact that abortion is in the news because would Biden or Trump do a better job… Biden leads on this measure by 14 points. It’s by far his best issue.”

Despite his polling strength on the issue, however, the data isn’t all good news for Biden. Enten explained that a recent poll by CNN found that only 23 percent of Americans think the candidate they support should share their views on abortion. Meanwhile, the same poll found that former President Trump is running well ahead of Biden on issues ranked as more important among voters.

“The economy, Trump leads. Immigration, Trump leads, foreign conflicts, Trump leads,” Enten said, before adding: “And even on preserving democracy, which has obviously been a focal point of the Joe Biden campaign. He only leads on issue by this issue by four points.”

The National Pulse previously reported that despite an abortion referendum making the ballot in Florida, the issue appears to have had little impact on the dynamics of the 2024 presidential race in the state. Former President Trump holds a double-digit lead over Biden in Florida, according to polling taken after it was announced the abortion question would appear on the November ballot.

A Question of Jurisdiction Could Sink Fani Willis’s RICO Case Against Trump and Others.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis possibly indicted former President Donald J. Trump and over a dozen other co-defendants without proper jurisdiction. An attorney for one of Trump‘s co-defendants, Harrison Floyd, contends violations of the law related to state elections are under the purview of the state board of elections and not the Fulton County D.A.’s office.

According to Floyd‘s attorney, Chris Kachouroff, Willis’s overall RICO prosecution is predicated on election violations, which means its proper jurisdiction should originate with the state’s board of elections. Kachouroff, in a motion filed with Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, argues that Willis has overstepped her legal jurisdiction in prosecuting the election-related crimes without a referral from Georgia‘s State Election Board. By resting original jurisdiction with the State Election Board, Kachouroff says “fragmentation of investigative activities” is avoided — meaning the state’s election authority would decide whether charges would be referred to Georgia’s Attorney General or one of 54 district attorneys.

Kachouroff’s initial motion questioning Willis‘s jurisdiction was denied by Judge McAfee, with the judge contending that the D.A. has “shared jurisdiction.” However, McAfee later granted a motion for immediate review of his decision by the Georgia Court of Appeals. If the appellate court — or the Georgia State Supreme Court — agrees with Kachouroff’s legal theory on the jurisdiction, most-if-not-all of the charges against Trump and his co-defendants could be thrown out.

Floyd is accused of soliciting false statements from witnesses, alleging election and ballot fraud. This charge stems from his interactions with Fulton County election worker Ruby Freeman. In a separate civil case, former federal prosecutor and New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was ordered to pay $148 million for defaming Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss. Giuliani claimed the two committed ballot fraud during the 2020 election.

Trump Trial Day 6: Still No Evidence of a Crime, Still More Holes in Bragg’s Case.

The sixth day of the Manhattan-based Trump hush money trial has come to a close. Despite having now heard from a half-dozen witnesses, the prosecutors in District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s office have yet to present compelling evidence of any crime being committed. The lack of evidence hasn’t gone unnoticed, even by corporate media outlets like CNN. During a Thursday segment, CNN’s political director David Chalian said he’s seen “precious little evidence” of Trump’s involvement in Michael Cohen’s payment deals with Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal.

MORE GAG ORDER VIOLATIONS?

Prosecutors started the day in court by presenting Democrataligned Judge Juan Merchan with four new accusations of former President Trump violating his court-issued gag order. “His statements are corrosive to this proceeding and the fair administration of justice,” prosecutor Chris Conroy told Judge Merchan Thursday morning. He added: “The defendant is doing everything he can to make this case about politics.”

Todd Blanche, a member of Trump’s defense team, fired back at the prosecution. He argued that Trump has a right to defend himself against public statements made by the likes of Michael Cohen and that Cohen and Stormy Daniels are “not people who need to be protected.”

“Cohen has been inviting and almost daring President Trump to respond to almost everything he’s saying,” Trump’s defense attorney told Judge Merchan. One of the alleged gag order violations cited by the prosecution was a comment where Trump referred to witness David Pecker as “nice.” Blanche noted, regarding the comment: “There’s no animosity between the two of them. There’s no threatening, menacing statements.”

“It’s not about just Mr. Pecker, Judge Merchan responded. He continued: “It’s about what the other witnesses see. It affects those witnesses as well.”

There was no immediate ruling on whether Trump violated the gag order in the four instances cited by prosecutors.

KEITH DAVIDSON BACK ON THE STAND.

The trial resumed after the gag order hearing, with Hollywood entertainment lawyer Keith Davidson returning to the stand for testimony directed by the prosecution. Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass received unexpected pushback from Davidson over his reference to the payments as “hush money.” Addressing the payments, the entertainment lawyer told Steinglass, “It wasn’t a ‘payout,’ and it wasn’t ‘hush money.’ It was consideration in a civil settlement.” Davidson told the prosecution that he’d never use the term “hush money.”

In another strange moment in the prosecution’s case, they opened the door to evidence that Michael Cohen continued to worry about statements made by Stormy Daniels well after the 2016 election. This directly undermines the core of their case that the payments were part of a plot to interfere in the presidential election.

At the direction of the protection, Davidson went through texts with Cohen just before Stormy Daniels’s 2018 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The texts between Cohen and Davidson mostly revolved around a statement from Daniels that denied she ever had a relationship with Trump. Regarding the statement, Davidson said: “I think it’s technically true.”

The remainder of Davidson’s testimony was a relatively unrevealing back and forth with prosecutors about the nuances of the English language and terms like “hush money,” “payout,” and “affair.”

‘NO INTERACTIONS WITH TRUMP.’

Keith Davidson’s cross-examination went far better for the defense than his initial testimony did for the prosecution. Trump‘s defense attorney, Emil Bove, handled the initial questioning of Davidson, immediately asking the entertainment lawyer if, before Thursday, he’d ever been in a room with Donald Trump. “I have had no personal interactions with Donald Trump,” Davidson responded. Bove spent most of the early stages of Davidson’s cross-examination focusing on the lawyer’s work before 2016. Davidson acknowledged he’d been retained in 2011 by Daniels’s agent to have a story removed from a gossip site.

Trump’s defense attorney then zeroed in on Davidson’s conversation with Cohen regarding Trump’s post-2016 election plans. According to Davidson, Cohen bragged that he may become the President-Elect’s chief of staff or even the U.S. Attorney General. It appears the purpose of this line of question is to show Cohen as someone prone to delusions of grandeur, often overstating his role in Trump’s personal, business, and political activities.

HUSH MONEY OR EXTORTION PLOT?

Next, Bove moved on to the topic of “extortion.” He pressed Davidson: “In your mind, you were concerned about avoiding creating evidence of extortion, correct?” The entertainment lawyer responded, “Not particularly.” However, Bove then raised a 2012 extortion investigation into Davidson involving a sex tape allegedly featuring Hulk Hogan. Davison insisted he did nothing illegal in that case, stating: “I did everything I could to make sure my activities were lawful.”

Bove then pivoted to the 2016 presidential election, addressing Davidson’s claim that he didn’t use the political contest as leverage in his negotiations with Cohen. “You made no threats to Michael Cohen related to the 2016 election, is that the answer?” Trump’s defense attorney asked, with Davidson responding: “I made no threats to anyone.”

“You never linked these negotiations to the 2016 election with anyone. Is that your testimony?” Bove countered. The entertainment lawyer replied, “That’s fair.”

When asked about his involvement with payout plots involving other celebrities, including Charlie Sheen, Manny Pacquiao, and Tila Tequila, Davidson claimed his memory was “fuzzy.” This likely further bolstered the defense’s contention that Davidson and his clients had more sinister motives behind their claims, bordering on extortion.

ANOTHER BLOW TO BRAGG’S CASE.

In another blow to District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s case, Davidson acknowledged—under cross-examination—that Trump never signed the non-disclosure agreement with Daniels. During earlier testimony, Davidson claimed that references to “DD” or “David Dennison” were stand-ins for Trump.

After Bove concluded his cross-examination of Davidson, the court took a short break. Alvin Bragg, perhaps surveying the damage his prosecution has taken, entered the court following the recess for the first time during the trial. The District Attorney and Trump exchanged brief glances at each other.

During a brief redirect, Bove asked Davidson if he recalled telling Cohen that if Trump lost the election, Daniels would lose her leverage. Davidson said he did recall the conversion. The defense then played a recording of Davidson telling Cohen: “If he loses this election, and he’s going to lose, we all lose all f**king leverage.”

VIDEO: Trump Says Europe Has ‘Opened Its Doors to Jihad,’ Paris and London ‘No Longer Recognizable.’

Mass migration has left London, England, and Paris, France, unrecognizable, Donald Trump told supporters at a Wisconsin rally on Wednesday. “We’ve seen what happened when Europe opened its doors to jihad. Look at Paris, look at London; they’re no longer recognizable,” he said.

The former president predicted he was “going to get myself into a lot of trouble with the folks in Paris and the folks in London, but you know what, that’s the fact.”

“They are no longer recognizable, and we can’t let that happen to our country,” he stressed.

London has been governed by Mayor Sadiq Khan of the left-wing Labour Party since 2016. He is standing for a third consecutive term on Thursday, in a year that has already seen Muslim residents riot during Eid, Ramadan lights displayed in the street, and ‘Hadiths of the Day’ displayed in railway stations over Easter and Lent.

Knife crime in London, where White Britons now account for just 36.8 percent of residents, is up seven percent year-on-year and 81 percent over the last ten years. Muslim anti-Israel protestors called openly for “jihad” on the streets of the British capital after the October 7 terror attacks on Israel last year, but the local police force defended them.

Across Britain, almost 50 percent of Muslims across Britain poll as sympathetic to Hamas. Conservative lawmakers, following National Pulse editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam, have begun warning of the emergence of no-go zones.

Paris has undergone a similar demographic transformation and also faces a long-term increase in crime. The capital saw 97 public rapes in 2023, resulting in just 36 arrests. Seventy-seven percent of those arrested were foreign nationals. Last year, ethnic riots rocked the city after police shot an Algerian teen who drove a car at police officers during a gunpoint traffic stop.

EXC: Fake Trump Endorsements Rock GOP Race.

A slate of candidates for the Virginia Republican Party‘s state central committee is touting a fake endorsement from former President Donald J. Trump ahead of a local party convention on Saturday, The National Pulse can reveal. Although claiming to be grassroots conservatives backed by Trump, the candidates have extensive ties to special interest lobbies and anti-Trump political campaigns. One candidate is allegedly an outright Never Trumper.

The fake Trump endorsement appears on a mailer for candidates David Botkins, Lauren Keiser, and Chris Winslow. The National Pulse spoke to sources close to former President Trump, who indicated that the 2024 Republican presidential nominee has not endorsed in the Virginia Republican Party central committee race.

DAVID BOTKINS.

David Botkins, one of the Virginia GOP central committee candidates, is a Dominion Energy lobbyist who actively pushed Governor Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) to enter the 2024 Republican presidential primary against former President Trump. A photo of Botkins posted on Facebook in August of 2023 shows the corporate lobbyist proudly wearing a button promoting Glenn Youngkin for President in 2024. In addition, Harry Kelso — who served as one of Nikki Haley‘s 2024 Virginia presidential primary campaign co-chairs — has acted as a surrogate for Botkins at several local Republican Party events.

FEC records suggest the Dominion Energy lobbyist never contributed to Trump’s presidential campaign in either the 2016 or 2020 cycles. One campaign that Botkins supported, however, was the short-lived congressional campaign of Taylor Keeney.

The National Pulse was able to review some of Keeney’s posts on X (formerly Twitter) in which she expressed opposition to Trump’s 2016 candidacy. Keeney instead backed Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL). In one post, Keeney appears to quote her husband, Carter, stating: “Trump said the same thing I did yesterday about (topic), so I’m probably wrong.”

LAUREN KEISER.

Lauren Keiser is a communications and market coordinator with the Virginia Manufacturers Association. Multiple sources who spoke with The National Pulse describe Keiser as one of the most left-wing Republicans with whom they’ve ever worked. In an email to her supporters, former Virginia State Senator and stalwart conservative Amanda Chase alluded to Keiser being a staunch Never Trumper. Sources have confirmed this accusation with The National Pulse, noting that Keiser has locked down her social media presence after receiving pushback for her opposition to Trump from fellow Virginia Republicans.

CHRIS WINSLOW.

A former member of the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors, Chris Winslow is a Virginia lawyer with a long history of work in the state’s House of Delegates. Winslow, Botkins, and Keiser are backed by the Republican Party of Virginia’s first vice-chair, Kristi Way. Way previously served as chief of staff to former Congressman Eric Cantor (R-VA). Conservative Tea Party candidate Dave Brat ousted Cantor from office during the 2014 Republican primary.

Anti-Trump candidates pretending to have Trump endorsements is scarcely new, though this slate is amongst the worst offenders of the fraudulent behavior.

REPORT: Biden Camp Frustrated by Trump’s Meetings with Foreign Leaders.

Former President Donald Trump‘s meetings with foreign officials are bothering those close to Joe Biden. While it is normal for a presidential opposition candidate to meet with foreign leaders, meetings between Trump and foreign figures are reportedly annoying for the Biden camp. Not only is Trump reportedly coming off as too presidential, but the meetings also suggest that foreign observers believe he can and “will win.”

Senior administration officials “said that, while it’s standard fare for the nominee of a major party to meet with foreign officials, they have been irked by the degree to which Trump has brought them to his homes and given the sessions the trappings of state visits,” reports NBC.

Trump has recently hosted an array of foreign dignitaries, including Polish President Andrzej Duda, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, former Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso, and former British Prime Minister and current Home Secretary David Cameron.

One longtime Biden ally said that while “On the official side, it might be helpful,” but “On the political side, it’s annoying to see it happen because [Trump] tries to capitalize.”

However, one Trump aide said he believed the meetings bother the Biden camp for another reason. “At some level they believe [Trump] can win — will win,” he said of the foreign leaders.

Biden’s time in the White House has also been marked by noted foreign policy failures, which some argue have diminished the U.S.’ standing on the world stage, highlighting a contrast with Trump. In addition to the catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal, which one historian called America’s “greatest humiliation since Saigon,” Biden’s foreign policy blunders have emboldened North Korea and seen U.S. troops booted from a significant portion of West Africa, now firmly under Russia influence.

Trump to Headline… Libertarian Party Conference!?

Members of the Libertarian Party appear increasingly open to backing former President Donald Trump‘s campaign to retake the White House this November. Trump announced he would address their 2024 political convention, marking the first time in history that convention attendees will hear from a former U.S. president. The Libertarian Party convention will take place on May 23 in Washington, D.C.

Earlier this year, the Libertarian Party invited both Trump and Democratic incumbent Joe Biden to attend their convention and address their party members. As of May 1, only Trump has accepted the invitation. “This momentous occasion will mark the first time a former President directly addresses our members, candidates, and executive committee,” the Libertarian Party said, announcing Trump’s address. They added: “Don’t miss this opportunity to hear insights from a prominent figure in American politics and watch him engage with Libertarian ideals.”

Inviting Trump to speak marks a significant shift in the official stance of America’s largest third party. In 2018, the Libertarians denounced Trump, stating: “Whatever libertarian impulses Trump the candidate seemed to have, his actual performance as president stands in stark contrast. Donald Trump is the opposite of a Libertarian.”

The Libertarian Party’s view of Trump shifted in 2022 when the more conservative-leaning Mises Caucus overtook the party leadership. Party members rebelled against the Gary Johnson and Bill Weld wing of the party, which they saw as too liberal and willing to compromise on libertarian political values.

While independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. appeared to show interest in pursuing the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination, he received little support in a recent party straw poll. The lack of enthusiasm among Libertarian voters for Kennedy seems to have dissuaded him from pursuing their nomination further.

Who is Matthew Colangelo? Congress Launches Probe into Obama-Linked Trump Prosecutor.

The House Judiciary Committee has initiated an investigation into Matthew Colangelo, a top prosecutor in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s case against former President Donald J. Trump. Colangelo previously served in a senior role as an attorney with the Biden government’s Department of Justice (DOJ). It is suspected that he may serve as a go-between for federal officials and the District Attorney’s office.

Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH), who chairs the Judiciary Committee, is requesting communications and other records related to Colangelo‘s employment with Biden‘s DOJ. “The Committee on the Judiciary is conducting oversight of politically motivated prosecutions by state and local officials,” Chairman Jordan wrote in a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland. He continued: “Since last year, popularly elected prosecutors—who campaigned for office on the promise of prosecuting President Trump—engaged in an unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority: the indictment of a former President of the United States and current leading candidate for that office.”

WHO IS MATTHEW COLANGELO?

Colangelo has featured prominently in the hush money trial, even delivering opening arguments for the prosecution team. The former DOJ attorney told the court that they would present evidence implicating Trump in a “criminal conspiracy and a cover-up.” The former federal attorney’s work against conservatives and Republican lawmakers dates back to the Obama government, where Colangelo served in the DOJ’s Voting Section.

While working in the Voting Section, Colangelo coordinated with the infamous left-wing groups Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and Project Vote to pressure law enforcement to target conservative political candidates.

Former President Trump faces 34 charges of falsifying business records. These charges are typically misdemeanors. However, Bragg and his prosecutors are using a dubious legal theory to boost the charges to felonies. They contend that the misdemeanors were committed in the course of breaking federal election law. Trump has neither been charged nor convicted of any federal election violations by either the Federal Election Commission or Biden’s DOJ.

The National Pulse has reported that much of District Attorney Bragg’s strategy appears to hinge on the credibility of disgraced attorney Michael Cohen, whom a federal judge accused of being “perverse.”

Trump Lands ANOTHER $1.8BN in Stunning Truth Social Success.

The stock value of Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) — the parent company of Truth Social — remained well above $17.50 in trading value as markets closed yesterday. With the share price sitting at $45.86 as markets opened this morning, former President Donald Trump is now due an additional 36 million shares in the company — valued at $1.88 billion.

Buoyed by continued investment by Trump‘s political supporters, the value TMTG has shocked establishment Wall Street investors and given the former President access to what could be a formidable source of cash for his campaign war chest. Even if shares had fallen below $17.50, Trump would still have seen a significant windfall from new shares conditional on the stock value remaining above $12.50.

During the initial public offering of shares for TMTG, former President Trump gained around $5 billion. This windfall sent him rocketing up the list of America’s most wealthy individuals. With the share price showing continued strength, it appears the efforts by Joe Biden‘s Democrat allies — like New York Attorney General Letitia James — to tie up Trump’s financial wealth will likely be in vain.

While the stock value continues to add to Trump‘s net worth, he won’t be able to sell or borrow against his shares for some time unless TMTG’s board approves an exception. The former Republican President is also far more likely to borrow against the shares than outright sell them, with the latter carrying a high risk of crashing TMTG’s market value.

RIGGED! Presidential Commission Refuses to Host Earlier, More Frequent Trump-Biden Debates.

The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) announced it plans to move forward with its originally announced debate schedule, with candidates needing to qualify for the stage in early September. This comes in response to former President Donald J. Trump challenging Democrat incumbent Joe Biden to a series of additional debate contests that would start far earlier in the campaign than the plan released by the CPD.

“The Presidential Debate Commission’s schedule does not begin until after millions of Americans will have already cast their ballots,” Trump campaign advisers Chris LaCavita and Susie Wiles said in a statement. They added: “This is unacceptable, and by refusing to move up the debates, they are doing a grave disservice to the American public who deserve to hear from both candidates before voting begins.”

Last week, during an appearance on Howard Stern’s Serius XM Radio show, Biden conceded he would debate his Republican challenger. Responding quickly through a post on Truth Social, Trump said he’d debate the 81-year-old Biden “ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYPLACE.” The former Republican President even suggested the two square off that very day after his trial adjourned at the Manhattan courthouse. Biden did not respond to the challenge.

WHEN ARE THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES?

The Trump campaign pushed the commission to hold debates earlier than planned, noting that early voting in some states will have already begun prior to the first CPD debate. Currently, Biden and Trump won’t debate until September 16 at Texas State University. A second debate is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1 (VA), and a third for October 9 (UT). A Vice Presidential debate is expected on September 25 (PA).

The National Pulse previously reported on the possibility of independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. joining Trump and Biden on the debate stage. Currently, he remains short of the requisite state ballots and polling requirements needed to participate in the CPD-run presidential debates this fall.
