Joe Biden admitted on Tuesday that his reason for seeking re-election in 2024 is preventing former President Donald Trump from reclaiming the presidency. “If Trump wasn’t running, I’m not sure I’d be running. But we cannot let him win,” he said, placing his animosity towards the reality TV billionaire over any positive plans for the country.
Biden’s comments have sparked increased speculation about his fitness for office given his age and perceived cognitive decline. His tendency for gaffes and unconventional anecdotes, used to connect with audiences, have fueled this debate.
The statement comes in the backdrop of recent poll increases for Trump. According to the RealClearPolitics polling average, the former president currently holds a two percent lead over Biden. The sentiment that Trump holds little regard for the U.S. Constitution or democratic institutions has been echoed by many of his detractors and has intensified in recent weeks in the light of these poll numbers.
Asked about the comments by Sean Hannity, former President Trump said it was unclear if Biden will even make it to the election in 2024.

Lawrence Moens, a witness in Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, says Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate is worth at least a billion dollars. Democrat-linked Judge Arthur Engoron and his partisan aide Allison Greenfield had valued it at just $18 million.
“It’s something breathtaking. It’s something amazing to see,” Moens told the court on Tuesday.
Far from having overvalued the property in loan applications, Moens believes Trump significantly undervalued it. This is in line with Trump’s own contention that the numbers he submitted excluded his personal brand value.
Moens put Mar-a-Lago’s value in 2011 at ~$655 million, compared to a Trump valuation of ~$426 million. Moens put Mar-a-Lago’s value in 2021 at over a billion dollars, compared to a Trump valuation of ~$612 million.
During a moment when he sent Moens out of the courtroom, Engoron claimed that whether or not Trump overvalued his properties was “not the bottom issue for me.” He insisted the real issue was whether or not “false documents” were submitted to secure favorable loan agreements.
Trump and his team say no one besides the Democrat Attorney General has complained, and all loans have been fully repaid. The former president has also branded the Attorney General, her case, and Engoron himself a “disgrace”.

The Democrat Party is moving to bar primary challengers to President Joe Biden from state ballots across the country. In Florida, Democrat leaders effectively canceled the party’s the March 19 presidential primary by using party rules to name Biden as the only official candidate. Under the state’s election law, uncontested presidential primary races do not appear on the ballot – meaning for Florida Democrats, their state party decided the 2024 Democrat nominee for them.
“Americans would expect the absence of democracy in Tehran, not Tallahassee,” Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) said in a statement regarding the state party’s decision. The multi-millionaire Congressman, who warned his fellow Democrats earlier this year they were “sleepwalking into a repeat of 2016”, announced he would challenge Biden for the Democrat presidential nomination in late October. Marianne Williamson, a perennial Democrat presidential candidate known for her eccentric views, said her campaign is looking in to taking legal action against the state party over their decision.
While not unheard of – some state parties used similar maneuvers to prevent primary challenges to Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama – raise concerns the Democrat Party is increasingly any equating opposition to their agenda as being ‘opposed to democracy’. Democrat Party aligned groups have backed legal challenges in several states as part of an effort to kick former President Donald Trump off of the 2024 presidential ballot. They argue the 14th Amendment’s ‘Insurrection Clause’ bars Trump from being elected to office.
“The Democratic Party is actively seeking to deny voters choices in this election, supposedly to save democracy,” law professor Jonathan Turley warned in The Hill, adding: “Henry Ford once promised customers any color so long as it is black. Democrats are adopting the same approach to the election: You can have any candidate on the ballot, as long as it’s Joe Biden.”

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has alleged that Paramount+ public relations officers cut short an interview with Frasier star Kelsey Grammer after the award-winning actor reiterated his support for President Donald J. Trump.
Early in the interview – in which Grammer also discussed the murder of his sister and his friendship with co-star Nicholas Lyndhurst – the Cheers and associated spin-off star said Roseanne Barr inspired the Frasier relaunch. Noting Barr was also a Trump supporter, interviewer Justin Webb later asked if Grammer is still a backer of the 45th President.
“I am, and I’ll let that be the end of it,” Grammer replied with a slight chuckle, before the interview came to an abrupt halt.
Webb explained, afterwards: “I have to say actually Kelsey Grammer himself was perfectly happy to go on talking about it. The Paramount+ PR people, less happy that he talked about it at some length,” said Webb after the pre-recorded interview, suggesting part of their discussion was not aired.
“But I should stress that he was perfectly happy to talk about why he supports Donald Trump and still does in the forthcoming election,” Webb added.
Grammer explained in 2019 that he welcomed Trump as a disruptor, saying did not “think Washington did us any favors for the last 50, 60 years. I think they’ve all been sort of the same party, the same bunch of clowns, the same bunch of really unpleasant people, and I don’t think they’ve been helping anybody but themselves.”

One hundred and thirty seven abortion clinics were forced to close or halt their operations over the past two years in the United States, according to the Christian charity Operation Rescue.
A total of 88 clinics closed or halted operations in 2022, with another 49 following suit this year. Of the 49 clinics that either closed or halted operations this year, 51 percent were pill-only facilities, and 49 percent were surgical.
There are now 670 abortion clinics left in the country, representing a 69 percent reduction in the total number of facilities compared to 1991, in which there were well over 2,176 in operation.
“The overturn of Roe v. Wade is undoubtedly saving lives. And the enduring efforts of faithful Americans on the pro-life side are paying off and having a winning effect,” said Operation Rescue’s President Troy Newman.
“While the pro-life community has much to celebrate, the pro-death crowd continues to find methods of killing as many human beings as possible. The prayers and work involved in exposing the evil behind the Abortion Cartel is more important than ever!” Newman added.
As of late November, one in four babies that would have been aborted in the United States have been born as a direct result of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe. Since then, fourteen states are considered “abortion-free” by Operation Rescue, including Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia.

President Donald J. Trump is set to turn the issue of “American democracy” against the Democrats and Joe Biden during a speech today in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, declaring his campaign a “righteous crusade to liberate our republic from Biden“.
Recent polling has revealed that single issue voters are primarily motivated by two key themes in 2024: abortion and the state of America’s democratic institutions. As a result, Trump will declare:
“For decades, you watched as a corrupt political class in our nation’s capital looted your money, trampled your dignity, and pushed their radical agenda into every aspect of your lives. But in 2016, you voted to stand up to those liars, losers, crooks, and creeps—and you elected an outsider as president to put America First.”
Additionally, the 45th President is expected to state: “I promise you this: if you put me back in the White House, their reign will be over, and America will be a free nation once again,” before going on to spell out the weaponization of American government against anyone who disagrees with the regime and its policies.
“They want to control your speech. They want to control your social media. They want to control what car you drive, what dishwasher you have—they want to control you,” Trump will tell crowds in the Hawkeye State.
“Just this week, Biden’s Homeland Security secretary even admitted that they are weaponizing Artificial Intelligence to target American citizens for political speech. When I am reelected, I will cancel Biden’s Artificial Intelligence Executive Order—and ban the use of A.I. to censor the speech of American citizens on Day One.”
Trump will also urge Iowa Republicans to commit to caucus for him, with the Iowa caucuses fewer than 50 days away.

Tucker Carlson has officially endorsed Donald Trump for President. He has revealed he became an “active” supporter of the America First leader after the Joe Biden-controlled Justice Department began its campaign to imprison him.
“I certainly support Trump, I’ll tell you that,” he told actress and comedienne Roseanne Barr. “I mean, I’ve always agreed with Trump’s policies, always, and I lost friends over it… I’ve never really actively supported anybody, because it’s not my job to actively support people. I watch, you know? I like to watch. I’m a voyeur,” he quipped.
“But I became an active Trump supporter when they raided Mar-a-Lago last summer,” he explained. “That can’t stand.”
“I agree with Trump on a lot, but even if I disagreed with Trump on a lot, I’d still be a Trump supporter, because you cannot allow that. You cannot allow the regime, the President of the United States, to use the Justice Department to knock the frontrunner out of the race,” he continued.
“So it’s bigger than Trump, it’s bigger than Biden. It’s a question of, do you want to live in a free country with a functioning justice system.”
Carlson vowed to “lead protests” and send Trump “max donations” if the former president is convicted.
Barr said she felt the same way.

Republican presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis falls well short of an outright majority in the GOP primary even when Donald Trump is excluded from the polls.
Surveys carried out by Harris and The Messenger from November 22nd to November 28th found that, without Trump, the Florida Governor manages a weak plurality of just 37 percent. Nikki Haley, who is now polling ahead of DeSantis in several states, comes in second on 16 percent. Vivek Ramaswamy is close behind her on 15 percent, suggesting he is the second preference of many Trump voters.
Former DeSantis sponsors such as Keith Rabois and his same-sex spouse Jacob Helberg have shifted support to Haley. Others, viewing Trump’s lead as insurmountable, are now backing the former president.
“I think Trump is too strong,” said Robert Bigelow, who at one point donated $20 milliion to DeSantis. “[Trump is] a hell of an ass kicker,” he added, describing DeSantis, in contrast, as just “a user of people”.

Former CNN news anchor Chris Cuomo has indicated that he would be open to voting for former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, seemingly reversing his previous hardline never-Trump position.
Cuomo, who was sacked by CNN in 2021 after he supposedly assisted his brother, the former Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo, in fighting sexual misconduct accusations, made the remarks during an interview with the PBD podcast earlier this week.
“We survived a Trump administration, would we survive another one? Yes, yes. I don’t think there’s any greater risk to America with him than with Biden… the data is the data. Nobody was trying to kill us when Trump was President in a way that they’re not now. If anything, there’s more hostility,” Cuomo stated.
He was then asked whether he would consider voting for the 45th President by podcast host Patrick Bet-David, to which he responded, “I am always open. And I’ll tell you this, people say, ‘Oh, bullsh*t. You’ve never voted for Republican in your life.’ Wrong. And not only have I, the first vote I ever cast was for a Republican.”
Cuomo’s admission comes just days after Donald Trump registered his largest ever lead over Joe Biden, holding 2.6-point lead over the incumbent President.

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) took to the stage at the New York Times’s DealBook Summit on Wednesday, dissing his own Republican Party and revealing that Joe Biden spoke from cue cards during their private meetings.
“I look over at the Democrats and they stand up – they look like America. We stand up – we look like the most restrictive country club in America,” said the former Speaker. He went on to claim the Republican Party in a state of decline before he was in charge.
On Biden.
While discussing debt ceiling negotiations, the California Republican recalled seeing the impact advanced age has had on Joe Biden.
“He’s not the same person he was when he was Vice President,” McCarthy said, adding: “He has good staff. He has staff that is very professional.” When pressed by Ross Sorkin regarding his allusion to the age of the President, McCarthy responded: “I’m not alluding. He is old!”
“I don’t see any slowing in Trump,” McCarthy continued. “That guy works 24 hours a day. You might not always like his decisions at the end of the day but he works.”
“With Biden, I did not negotiate the debt ceiling with Biden. I could not negotiate the debt ceiling with Biden.” Elaborating further, McCarthy said complex policy discussions were too difficult for the President, exclaiming that in meetings with lawmakers Biden “talked from cards.”
On Trump and 2024.
Looking towards 2024, the former House Speaker was blunt, “I believe President Trump will be our nominee and I believe President Trump will get reelected.” When asked who Trump should select to be his Vice-President, McCarthy suggested former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, musing she could help bring home Republicans who are hesitant to back Trump again.
Regarding his relationship with Trump, McCarthy all was ‘good’ between them. “The interesting thing is, you know, we have been together for a long time. There’s times we’ll disagree, but we always do it in private.”
“That’s a healthy relationship, that you can tell one another what you think and what you’re able to go do, and we don’t air it on the outside. It only makes our relationship stronger,” McCarthy added.
