TEFLON DON? DeSantis-Linked Anti-Trump PAC Admits Attack Ads Have Failed.

‘Win It Back PAC’ – directly linked to the RINO Republican-led Club for Growth – has been forced into a humiliating admission that its multi-million dollar summer campaign to undermine former President Donald Trump has been a complete failure, with some commercials even backfiring and leading to more support for the 45th President.

The group – which favors Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – announced the multi-million dollar ad spend in July, and has blown through a whopping $6m+ in donor cash since. A new memo – embedded in the Editor’s Notes below – reveals:

– The group produced over 40 ads tested in focus groups;

– All attempts to undermine [Trump’s] conservative credentials were ineffective;

– Ant-Trump ads backfired or produced no impact on ballot support or favorability;

The group tried to save face by claiming some ads did shift some people in Iowa away from Trump, though the methodology of their claims is questionable: the group used non-ad markets as a “control group” while using more left-leaning counties for their ads.

The group also used WPA Intelligence for its polling, a firm run by DeSantis-backer Chris Wilson, who was fired and sued by his former employer theft and fraud. DeSantis’s wife Casey (aka Jill) has previously done PR for the Club for Growth.

DeSantis Influencers Say They’ll Write-In Pro-Abortion, Anti-Gun RFK If Trump Wins Primary.

A number of Ron DeSantis supporters have taken to social media to announce they will vote for Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. before they unify behind Donald Trump, despite the DeSantis camp pitching the Florida Governor as a facsimile of Trump with less “baggage” and more “effective” administration.

“Since I have been reliably told for months by Trump supporters that they would write him in even if DeSantis or anyone else won the GOP primary, it’s good to have permission to support RFK in the general if DeSantis doesn’t win the GOP primary,” wrote DeSantis booster Scott Morefield, a blogger for the Townhall.com website. Townhall is owned by the Salem Media Group, which also owns the pro-DeSantis RedState, Twitchy, and other legacy “Conservative Inc” blog sites.

Other DeSantis supporters were quick to agree with Morefield, raising questions as to whether or not they are, in fact, Republican voters at all. Many pro-DeSantis activists on social media are anonymous, newly-created accounts.

“You nailed it Scott. These are the new rules,” said one.

“As long as Trump is not supporting the primary winner, neither am I if it’s him,” seethed another.

“They’re both Liberals, so I might as well go for a honest liberal who can’t be easily corrupted,” concurred a third.

Others, however, weren’t so keen on the new tactic of embracing the pro-abortion, anti-Second Amendment RFK Jr, with user John Ament replying, “We all knew you were a liberal.”

RJK Jr. has won some admirers on the right for his opposition to the medical establishment – including DeSantis himself – he is a fundamentally left-wing politician who supports greater gun control, and shared an article in favor of repealing the Second Amendment altogether. RFK Jr. has stated he would not support abortion restrictions after three months because it is “always the woman’s right to choose” whether to kill her unborn baby.

RFK Jr. is also on record as saying he believes he would take more votes from Trump than Biden as a third-party candidate.

WATCH: Trump Blasts Judge, AG in New York Court.

Former President Donald J. Trump appeared in court in Manhattan on Monday to personally fight back against the civil suit being brought against him by Democrat Attorney General Letita James.

“I’m going to Court tomorrow morning to fight for my name and reputation against a corrupt and racist Attorney General, Letitia James, who campaigned on ‘getting Trump,’ and a Trump Hating Judge who is unfair, unhinged, and vicious in his PURSUIT of me,” the former president wrote the night before his appearance.

“THIS WHOLE CASE IS A SHAM!!! See you in Court – Monday morning,” he added.

His words were just as strong when he appeared, with James, his judge, and Joe Biden’s Department of Justice all coming under fire:

Trump also took aim at Judge Arthur Engoron, who has already ruled Trump overvalued his business empire, singling out his highly dubious valuation of the Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida in statements provided at court and the previous night.

“Judge Engoron’s Valuation of Mar-a-Lago, the most spectacular property in Palm Beach, Florida, IS FRAUDULENT!” he wrote.

“He should resign from the ‘Bench’ and be sanctioned by the Courts for his abuse of power, and his intentional and criminal interference with the Presidential Election of 2024, of which I am leading all candidates, both Republican & Democrat, by significant margins.”

Ex-SecDef Esper Worries Trump Will Retaliate Against Deep State If Elected.

Mark Esper, the former Secretary of Defense, is publicly fretting that Donald Trump will retaliate against those in the deep state that sought to undermine his first term as President of the United States, telling the media that he thinks those worried about retaliation have a “legitimate fear”.

Esper recalled an alleged incident where Trump “…wanted to call back to active duty Adm. McRaven and Gen. McChrystal, to court-martial them, for some things that they allegedly said in in the public domain, and Milley and I had to talk the president out of doing that, for any number of reasons.”

The comments from the former Secretary of Defense come after Trump criticized retiring General Mark Milley last week for communicating with his Chinese counterparts “…to give them a heads up on the thinking of the President of the United States.” Trump compared the betrayal by Milley to a “treasonous act.”

Media freak outs over President Trump’s criticism of the deep state are nothing new. A senior U.S. defense official communicating with a foreign military regarding the President’s thinking on diplomatic and military matters without authorization, on-the-other-hand, is a serious breach of protocol. Similarly, the corporate media has tried to stoke fear regarding plans to staff the government with political appointees who would implement the President’s agenda – something every presidential administration does.

In both instances, the corporate media is siding with anti-democratic elements in government who act against the will of the American people and the duly elected President.

RED ALERT: Top Dem Warns Party is ‘Sleepwalking Into 2016 Repeat’.

Rep. Dean Phillips, a powerful Congressional Democrat, has warned that his party is “sleepwalking into a repeat of 2016,” in comments made during an interview with POLITICO. Phillips said he believes Democrats need to consider an alternative candidate to President Joe Biden, adding: “…we should let Americans decide who is best positioned to beat Donald Trump because clearly the data is saying a majority of Americans do not believe, unfortunately, that it is President Biden.”

The Minnesota Democrat has served in Congress since winning election 2018. During his tenure he has voted for President Biden’s agenda 100 percent of the time according to FiveThirtyEight’s congressional vote tracker. When asked if he thought Biden’s age was a hinderance, Phillips responded saying he’s focused on the data: “The numbers are saying that despite successful policy implementation… people are not pleased.”

Responding to some of his Democrat colleagues who say Party critics of Biden need to ‘chill out’, Phillips said, “In my professional life, both in the public sector and private sector, chilling out has never been a recipe for success in addressing any problem.” He later added, “…chilling out does not make for electoral success.”

Rep. Phillips said he will continue to encourage those “more proximate and prepared to run a compelling campaign” to jump into the Democrat primary and challenge Biden in the hopes an alternative will emerge – admitting he himself might end up running if no one else will.

A recent Washington Post-ABC poll showed President Biden trailing former President Trump by 10 points in the 2024 presidential race.

Trump Predicts Biden Border Crossings to Exceed 15 Million by Year End.

President Trump has predicted the real number of migrants entering the United States under Joe Biden will be closer to 15 million by the end of 2023. The comments came during an interview with National Pulse Editor in Chief Raheem Kassam, wherein Trump described his administration presiding over “the safest border in the history of our country,” with “the least amount of drugs in many, many decades, the least amount of human trafficking, which is a tremendous problem – but when you look at what’s taking place now… First of all, it’s not sustainable by any country, including ours, even from a cost standpoint.”

Official figures place illegal migrant encounters at around 7.6 million, but Trump’s figures also include the unknown number of entries, as well as net migration which is now back up to pre-COVID levels in the United States.

“When you look at the numbers of people coming in, and the numbers, Raheem, are much bigger than anybody understands. I really believe it’s gonna be 15 million people by the end of this year, during this administration. That’s larger than New York State,” he stressed.

“You watch ABC News and NBC News and you watch CBS, they hardly talk about it. It’s a tremendous national tragedy – and I’ll get inflation down, I’ll get the economy roaring again, I’ll do all this, but this is a hard problem that we’ve gotta take care of,” he added.

“The other day I noticed on one of the telecasts, they said Trump had no terrorist reporting, none, for a long period of time in 2019 there were none. Now we’re setting record numbers, and that’s on just one category, a thing called terrorists. Not good. Not a good category,” he emphasized.

The former president said “people from other places, other parts of the world, and even from our part of the world… cannot believe that millions of people are pouring through our borders and we have no idea who they are,” and that, thanks to Biden, it’s a problem Americans  are going to be stuck with for a while.

“But we’re going to do something in terms of deportation that’s going to be a miracle. We’re going to clean up our country,” he vowed.

EXC: Not Michelle, But ‘Probably’ Gavin – Trump Mulls Democrat Alternatives to Biden.

Former President Donald J. Trump says he doesn’t think Michelle Obama would step in to fill the shoes of Joe Biden, if the 80-year-old president doesn’t make it to the 2024 election. He does, however, appear to believe that Gavin Newsom would be one of the leading contenders for the job.

Asked about a Biden replacement, Trump remarked “There will be a fight, I don’t think Kamala gets it,” adding: “I think all of a sudden people would start jumping in.”‘

When quizzed as to whether or not Michelle Obama could enter that fray, he responded: “I don’t see that,” but said, “Probably. I think so,” when Governor Gavin Newsom was raised.

Mark Milley Resigns, Predictably Whines About Donald Trump.

Outgoing Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman General Mark Milley lost his temper during his resignation speech, appearing to take a dig Donald Trump, his former Commander-in-Chief, as a “wannabe dictator”.

Milley – whose crowning achievements in his role were the introduction of wokeness to the U.S. military as well as his back channel support for Communist China – whined: “we don’t take an oath to a wannabe dictator” during his outgoing message.

WATCH:

Milley was a controversial Joint Chiefs chairman, constantly miring himself in political disputes by endorsing far-left concepts such as Critical Race Theory (CRT), once telling Congress “I want to understand White Rage, and I’m white” and boasting of having read Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Mao Zedong.

Milley and Trump frequently clashed over what Trump saw as the general’s military incompetence, particularly his advice that leaving U.S. equipment in Afghanistan behind for the Taliban would be the most cost-effective response to takeover – which ended up happening under Joe Biden.

“That’s when I realized he was a f***ing idiot,” Trump said of the exchange.

Trump Is Suing British Spy Christopher Steele Over Fake Russia Dossier.

Donald Trump has filed a data protection claim against former British spy Christopher Steele and his company Orbis Business Intelligence in the UK’s High Court, according to court records.

The lawsuit relates to the Steele dossier, which made several explosive claims about Trump’s alleged links to Russia before he assumed office in January 2017. The dossier was published by Buzzfeed, and Steele was hired by Fusion GPS, a Washington DC-based research firm that was funded by the law firm Perkins Coie, on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee. A two-day hearing for Trump’s legal action is scheduled to begin on October 16.

The Steele dossier alleged that Trump had been “compromised” by the Russian security service and made claims of “kompromat” material involving Trump and Russian prostitutes, although there is no evidence to support these claims.

The CIA viewed Steele’s material as “Internet rumor,” according to a 2019 Justice Department watchdog report, and a bipartisan Senate report in 2022 raised concerns about some of Steele’s material being Russian disinformation. The Mueller Report found “no collusion” between Trump’s campaign and Russia.

republican debate ratings

The Republican Debate Ratings Slumped.

Nielsen data shows fewer than 10 million people watched the second Republican presidential debate on Wednesday night. The audience consisted of viewers of Fox News (6.7 million), Fox Business (1.8 million), and Univision (813,000), and is down from the 12.8 million viewers who tuned in last month for the first Republican primary debate, also hosted by Fox.

The 2015 debates, which featured Donald Trump, attracted record-breaking ratings, with the first drawing nearly 24 million viewers and the second seeing 22.9 million tune in. Without President Trump’s participation in this season’s debates, TV executives and the Republican National Committee are facing a dilemma in deciding whether it is worthwhile to produce events with such tepid interest and questionable significance given his dominance in the polls.

Despite the lower ratings, the GOP debate still had a larger audience than any other program on cable or network television on Wednesday evening. Trump is unlikely to appear at the next debate in November in Miami. One of his senior advisers has called on the Republican National Committee to refrain from scheduling any more debates for the primary season altogether, suggesting that Republicans should rally behind Trump and focus instead on defeating Joe Biden.
