Illegals Sent By DeSantis to Martha’s Vineyard Received ‘Victim Visas’ (Apparently That’s a Thing).

A group of illegal immigrants flown to Martha’s Vinyard by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has received a special visa — and accompanying work permit —reserved for those who have been the victims of a crime. The illegals received a U-visa, which opens a pathway to potential permanent legal status.

Rachel Self, an attorney representing the illegals, says DeSantis duped her clients into boarding chartered flights from Texas. She claims they boarded the planes under the pretense they would receive jobs upon arrival in Massachusetts. Sheriff Javier Salazar from Bexar County, Texas, backed the visa push by Self and her clients. A Democrat, Salazar launched a criminal probe into the flights in late 2022. The sheriff alleges the illegal aliens were “exploited and hoodwinked into making this trip.”

At the time, DeSantis pushed back against Salazar’s accusations that the illegal immigrants were exploited. The Florida Governor’s office insisted the illegals voluntarily agreed to take the flights.

The United States Congress only permits the federal government to issue 10,000 U-visas annually. According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the visas are ostensibly granted to the “victims of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse and are helpful to law enforcement or government officials in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.”

No charges have ever been announced through the Bexar County investigation. However, the illegals were granted permission by a federal judge in Boston to bring a lawsuit against Florida-based company Vertol Systems Co., which managed the flights.

West Prep Academy

Middle School Boots Special Needs Students to Make Way for Migrant Kids.

West Prep Academy, a New York City middle school with a significant percentage of special needs students, is planning on sending them to an unsafe 127-year-old building to make room for migrant kids. The school, in which 43 percent of students have special needs, and 90 percent are Black or Latino, shares a building with PS 145, which has been inundated with a surge in enrollment of migrant children.

“This building is not equipped to house students with special needs [or] students that don’t have any special needs — it’s not equipped, it’s 127 years old,” said Denise Johnson, a parent of a West Prep Academy sixth-grader. “The issue is we are coming from a building that is substantial, with all [the] equipment to service their students to a building that lacks resources.”

“The issue for me is the building in itself. It’s not up to par for anyone to go into learning — it looks like a jail. And I don’t think that’s something that our Black and Brown kids should be provided by based off of someone else’s decision,” Johnson added.

SMOKE SHOPS AND BUMS.

The new location to which West Prep’s special needs students are to be sent poses significant risks to student safety. It also lacks adequate access to a safe outdoor environment.

“There’s multiple doors on the floors, where the children can open and can wander around there. There are concerns in terms of outdoor space. We know that children that are part of the ASC nests program have mandated outdoor time and services that cannot be provided in that building,” said Kaliris Salas, a member of the DOE’s Panel of Educational Policy [PEP]. “And so in turn, a lot of us on the PEP are very concerned about this particular move.”

The 127-year-old facility also sits in a potentially dangerous neighborhood. “There’s smoke shops everywhere, and there’s also people outside that are bums,” said one parent.

New York City continues to struggle with the massive number of illegal aliens who have flooded the city as a result of the Biden regime’s continued failure to address the border crisis. Unfortunately, schoolchildren are often the ones paying the price. In January, students at James Madison High School were kicked out to make room for 1,900 illegal aliens.

Biden Drops $300 Million (Of Your Cash) on Sanctuary Cities.

The Biden regime’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is allocating $300 million to ‘sanctuary‘ cities offering support such as shelter and food to illegal aliens. In light of a surge in border crossings, this funding will be channeled through the Shelter and Services Program (SSP). The SSP funds non-federal bodies such as NGOs and local governments that aid illegal aliens who are released into the United States. Of the total funding, $275 million will be dispensed initially, with the remaining $25 million set aside for later in the year.

The program covers costs related to providing shelter, food, transportation, medical care, and personal hygiene to illegal aliens. Other expenses, such as the remodeling of existing facilities, clothing, translation services, outreach information, and administrative costs, are also included.

In addition to this, DHS disclosed an allocation of $340.9 million for the SSP competitive grant program. This comes after a distribution of over $780 million last year through SSP and another program to sanctuary cities and organizations providing services to illegals.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data, the influx of illegal immigrants into the United States has skyrocketed in recent years, with exceptional numbers recorded in FY 2023 and the first six months of FY 2024.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) estimates that nearly 16 million illegal immigrants have entered the United States during President Biden’s tenure. Critics argue that policies under the current government have led to increased illegal entry into the country, citing a significant rise in the number of people on the terrorism watchlist attempting to cross the border unlawfully.

Migrant Crime

MIGRANT CRIME ROUND-UP: Gangsters, Killers, and Pedophiles Victimize Public, Sap Public Resources.

Migrant crime, which Donald Trump has described as a “new category of crime” as a result of the border crisis under Joe Biden, is continuing to drain public resources. Wanted murderers, rapists, and kidnappers were recently apprehended, along with predators charged with targeting children in the U.S.

THE MS-13 RACKETEER.

On Monday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported that Jose Lainez-Martinez, an MS-13 gang member based in Silver Spring, Maryland, had been imprisoned for 24 years. Lainez-Martinez had been involved in “a pattern of racketeering activity that included murder, conspiracy to commit murder, extortion, and drug distribution.”

“The acts of Jose Lainez-Martinez and other members of this violent transnational criminal organization led to the tragic loss of a young man’s life,” confirmed a Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agent.

The investigation into the Salvadoran gangster consumed resources from HSI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Montgomery County Police Department.

In a separate case reported on Wednesday, an MS-13 member described as a “violent felon and a threat to Maryland residents” was arrested by ICE deportation officers. He had previously been convicted of conspiracy, armed robbery, and weapons charges in the U.S.

THE BRAZILIAN PEDOPHILE.

ICE reported the detention of an accused pedophile in Massachusetts on Monday. He was initially let loose among the public by the courts in defiance of a detainer request.

The unnamed Brazilian crossed the U.S. border illegally in July 2021. He was detained by Border Patrol but soon released. By 2023 he had been arrested for driving without a license and, more seriously, rape of a child and enticement of a child under 16.

In January 2024, he was arrested as a fugitive from justice. ICE lodged a detainer request, but Milford District Court failed to honor it when he posted bail. ICE finally took him into custody in late March.

“This Brazilian noncitizen is accused of sexually abusing a Massachusetts minor,” commented ICE field office director Todd Lyons.

“Every second he spends roaming free in our communities, he represents a potential threat to the children of our communities.”

THE RAPIST AND THE KIDNAPPER.

On Wednesday, ICE confirmed the deportation of another Brazilian, wanted in his home country for “the offense of rape of a vulnerable individual, or statutory rape of a minor 14 years of age or younger.”

Altair Jose Portuense-Lana’s deportation was a convoluted process. He first crossed the U.S. border illegally in July 2021, being apprehended by Border Patrol but released under a so-called Alternative to Detention (ATD) program.

By 2022, he had been arrested for the assault and battery of a family member and “intimidation of witnesses, jurors and persons furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings.” He was hit with “multiple charges of threats to commit a crime and with violation of a restraining/abuse prevention order” later the same year.

Not until March 2024 did an immigration judge issue an order for his removal, with ICE noting he was “being sought for sex offenses in Brazil and represented a threat to New England residents as long as he was walking our streets.”

Also on Wednesday, ICE confirmed the arrest of a Romanian man wanted for kidnapping in his home country. The unnamed 25-year-old, who had been deported once before, was caught reentering the U.S. at the Rio Grande Valley border sector in May 2021. Released with an order to appear before an immigration judge, ICE discovered him living in Fresno, California, in March this year.

THE COLOMBIAN KILLER.

On Thursday, ICE confirmed the arrest of a Colombian illegal alien convicted of premeditated murder in his home country. After serving just four years in prison, the unnamed 44-year-old made his way to the U.S., entering undetected as a so-called “gotaway.”

He was arrested in September 2022 but denied having a criminal record and was paroled through an ATD program. It was a full year before ICE realized they had cut loose a convicted murderer and another five months before he was taken into custody in Hartford, Connecticut.

“This Colombian national lied to immigration officials about his violent past in order to gain entrance into the United States,” commented an ICE field office director. “We cannot allow convicted murderers to roam freely in our New England neighborhoods.”

FREE TO KILL.

On Tuesday, the Department of Homeland Security confirmed a driver who killed Kurt Englehart, an adviser to Democrat Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, is an illegal alien.

Elmer Rueda-Linares “entered the United States March 12, 2021, at or near the Rio Grande City, Texas, Port of Entry without inspection by an immigration official,” the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) admitted.

“United States Customs and Border Protection arrested him, and he was later released on his own recognizance June 22, 2021.”

After years at large in the country, Rueda-Linares was involved in the deadly crash in Nevada on April 6. He was initially charged with a felony hit-and-run, but this has been downgraded to failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

THE SCALE OF THE PROBLEM.

The above examples of illegal aliens victimizing U.S. residents and consuming public resources are illustrative rather than exhaustive. Some indication of the full scale of migrant crime, dismissed as “negligible” by leftist commentators such as MSNBC’s Joy Reid, was given by Rep. Glenn Grothman, Chairman of the House National Security, Border, and Foreign Affairs Subcommittee, during a hearing on Tuesday.

Grothman indicated that ICE is attempting to monitor at least 6 million illegal aliens. Of these, 617,000 — greater than the population of Wyoming — are known to have criminal records or pending criminal charges.

“The fact is that illegal aliens should not be in the country in the first place and able to commit these crimes,” Grothman said, urging the Biden regime to “stop releasing illegal aliens into the country in droves.”

Loomer NYC Illegal Theft

WATCH: Laura Loomer Assaulted By Illegals Who Attempted to Steal Her Phone in New York.

Investigative reporter Laura Loomer has released footage of illegal aliens assaulting her and colleague Angela Van Der Pluym at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan. Used as a migrant processing center and temporary shelter, the Pakistani-government-owned hotel has been the site of dozens of arrests.

Loomer reported she and Van Der Pluym were attacked by an illegal who tried to steal their phones. The reporters had “caught them on camera possibly engaging in a drug deal.”

“I called [the New York City Police Department] after the illegals attacked us, and the illegal tried resisting arrest once the officers arrived,” she recounted, sharing footage of officers hurling the migrant in question to the ground and kicking another migrant who tried to intervene.

“While he was being arrested, the other illegals swarmed us while shouting at us because they didn’t want us recording,” she added.

Loomer said it was “unclear if the suspect was ever actually booked.” Despite her and her colleague being “assaulted, robbed, and intimidated,” she suggested responding officers were reluctant to act decisively, and “were clearly agitated and became completely unreasonable as illegals with a gang mentality began to swarm the scene.”

“America is no longer America. There is zero law and order in American cities thanks to [Joe Biden’s] policies,” Loomer added.

CRIMINAL BASE.

The Roosevelt Hotel has become a base for migrant criminals. In February, a trio of migrants living at the hotel embarked on a string of robberies. The gang stole “clothing, shoes and fragrances” worth thousands of dollars. They were found to have drugs and drug paraphernalia and a car with bogus license plates when they were arrested.

Democrat Mayor Eric Adams warned last year that migrants would “destroy” New York City. Previously, he praised Joe Biden for halting border wall construction and declared his city a “sanctuary.”

In a visit to Harlem earlier this week, Donald Trump lamented that New York has “gone so bad in the last three years, four years.”

“We’re going to straighten New York out,” he vowed.

Resource Center Matamoros

Illegals Told to ‘Vote for Biden’ in Flyers Found at NGO Site in Mexico.

Flyers urging illegal aliens to vote for Joe Biden have been discovered at a site in Mexico operated by Resource Center Matamoros (RCM), a complex operated by a non-governmental organization (NGO) that assists immigrants attempting to gain asylum in the United States.

“Reminder to vote for President Biden when you are in the United States,” read the Spanish-language flyers discovered inside port-a-potties and other locations throughout the RCM site by Muckraker.com. They bear RCM branding and carry RCM contact information.

The RCM is operated by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), an NGO that previously boasted Biden’s foreign-born Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as a board member.

The Oversight Project shared audio obtained by Muckraker on RCM founder Gaby Zavala, in which she is alleged to have “implied… that she wants to help as many illegals as possible before President Trump is reelected.” Zavala was previously an organizer for La Union del Pueblo Entero (LUPE), a partner of the Open Society Foundations (OSF) group founded by George Soros.

Officially, illegal aliens are barred from voting in federal elections, but weak laws around voter identification leave room for this to be circumvented. The Biden campaign has been notably resistant to proposals by Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson to require prospective voters to prove citizenship.

Illegal immigration can strengthen the Democrats, even without illegal aliens voting directly, by boosting the population in ways that allow favorable redistricting. Fifty-four percent of likely voters believe Biden has been “encouraging” illegal immigration to  “create a permanent majority” for the Democrats.

Biden Border

Biden’s So-Called ‘Nuclear’ Border Option is Just Basic Trump-Era Policy.

The “nuclear option” being considered by Joe Biden to tackle the border crisis reportedly amounts to little more than reviving baseline Donald Trump administration policies.

While the White House has argued it cannot protect the border without the passage of a controversial Senate bill focused primarily on aid for Ukraine and Israel, rumors have circulated for weeks that Biden may take executive action to mitigate the crisis, which is hurting the Democrats in the polls.

Touted as a “nuclear option,” reports now indicate he would merely resort to section 212(f) of the federal code, previously used by Donald Trump to restrict immigration from several countries deemed to be terror risks, immigrants without health insurance, and immigrants in general during the coronavirus pandemic.

Section 212(f) empowers the President to “suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants” if their entry “would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.”

Biden has seemed indifferent as to whether or not any executive action actually stops the border crisis, however, telling Univision: “Some are suggesting that I should just go ahead and try it, and if I get shut down by the court, I get shut down by the court.” An outright majority of Americans believe he has been  “encouraging” illegal aliens to enter the United States to “create a permanent majority” for the Democrats.

Since is inauguration, the 81-year-old Democrat has overseen an influx of at least 9.4 million illegal aliens, on course to match all legal immigrants processed at Ellis Island from 1892 to 1954.

Chambers County Texas Illegal Pedos

10 Suspected Illegals Arrested on Child Porn, Human Trafficking Allegations.

Law enforcement officials in Chambers County, Texas, announced they have detained ten individuals at an East Texas home – suspected of being illegal immigrants from Asia and Guatemala – for allegedly possessing child pornography. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) further alleges the house, located 33 miles east of Downtown Houston, was being used to facilitate human trafficking.

The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) says the suspects were detained and taken into custody after a Thursday morning raid. The operation necessitated forced entry after occupants declined to allow officers access to the property. According to a Fox News report, Homeland Security officials are still working to determine the legal status of the arrested individuals.

Government officials say the operation was prompted by information gleaned from the Internet Crimes Against Children database, which suggested possible child pornography downloads associated with the location. Bryan Baker, a CCSO Captain, emphasized the local law enforcement’s commitment to maintaining zero tolerance for such illegal downloads.

Inside the house, law enforcement encountered ten people suspected to be illegally residing in the country, as well as multiple electronic devices. The officers also found supplies commonly associated with restaurants at the scene.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) assisted local officers at the scene. All suspects are said to have been transported to the Chambers County Jail, where they await processing by federal agents. Currently, criminal charges against the suspects have not been made public. The CCSO noted that the investigation into potential human trafficking or human smuggling, among other crimes, is ongoing.

A Major New Migrant Surge Is Coming. Here’s Why…

The anti-Western coup d’état in Niger last year is likely to drive further illegal immigration to Europe, the European Commission has warned.

Ylva Johansson, the Home Affairs Commissioner  on the European Union’s unelected executive, has confirmed the coup “could, of course, lead to a lot of new migrants coming in a very difficult and dangerous situation.”

Niger is one of several African countries in the Sahel region, running from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea, where Russia-friendly military juntas have supplanted Western-leaning regimes. It has already revoked legislation aimed at slowing the flow of migrants towards Europe.

Agadez, a desert outpost from which outward migration was previously banned, has already filled with “caravans of pickup trucks” ready to transport migrants from West and Central Africa through the Sahara and into neighboring Libya.

From there, many will make the journey from the North African coast to Europe, often assisted by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating “rescue” ships that loiter in the area, waiting to collect migrants from smaller craft.

Violent Offenses Are at Record Levels in Germany. Guess Who’s to Blame?

The German Interior Ministry has confirmed foreign criminal suspects surged to approximately 923,000 in 2023, a rise of almost a fifth year-on-year.

Forty-one percent of all crime suspects were identified as foreigners, far exceeding their share of the population. However, this likely underestimates the true impact of mass migration on the crime statistics, as migrants who acquire German citizenship and the descendants of recent migrants are all counted as “German” in the suspect statistics.

The migrant crime wave has helped to drive violent offenses to record highs, with approximately 214,000 logged in 2023 — an annual rise of 8.6 percent.

Cases of grievous bodily harm reached a record 154,000, up 6.8 percent over 2022, and cases of “intentional simple assault” reached 434,000, up 7.4 percent.

Some categories of crime rose even more sharply, with robberies increasing by 17 percent to 44,857, and residential burglaries increasing by 18.9 percent to 77,819 cases.

Certain petty crimes also increased dramatically, with shoplifting up by 23.6 percent to 426,096.

Nevertheless, the Federal Interior Minister for Germany’s far-left coalition government, Nancy Faeser, insists “the greatest threat that our free democratic basic order currently faces [is] right-wing extremism.”
