Leftist Candidate Loses Party Backing for Claiming Israel Allowed Oct 7 Terror Attack.

The UK Labour Party is pulling support for their party’s candidate standing in the Rochdale by-election following revelations he believes Israel allowed the October 7th Hamas terrorist attacks to happen as a pretense to invade Gaza. Azhar Ali, a former government adviser, was named as the Labour candidate last month — contesting a seat left open by the death of Sir Tony Lloyd.

“The Egyptians are saying that they warned Israel ten days earlier… Americans warned them a day before [that] there’s something happening,” Mr. Ali told a meeting of the Lancashire Labour Party before continuing: “They deliberately took the security off, they allowed… that massacre that gives them the green light to do whatever they bloody want.” Mr. Ali went on to voice his displeasure with Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer: “A lot of the MPs I’ve spoken to, non-Muslim MPs, feel that on this issue, he’s lost the confidence of the parliamentary party.”

Following the revelation of Mr. Ali’s comments, groups like Labour Against Antisemitism (LAAS) pushed Labour Party leaders to suspend his candidacy and party membership. Mr. Ali tried to soften the criticism, calling his remarks “deeply offensive, ignorant and false” in a public apology.

Despite Mr. Ali’s attempts to retract his conspiracy theory, Labour‘s leader, Sir Keir Starmer, withdrew official party support for the candidate on Monday. In announcing the move, a Labour Party spokesperson alluded to additional controversial comments made by Mr. Ali, which had not yet been made public: “Following new information about further comments made by Azhar Ali coming to light today, the Labour Party has withdrawn its support for Azhar Ali as our candidate in the Rochdale by-election.”

This Little-Used Congressional Mechanism Could Help Ukraine-Firsters Fast Track Cash to Zelensky.

Proponents of the $95 billion ‘aid’ package for Ukraine in the House of Representatives are exploring using the little-used “discharge petition” mechanism to force a floor vote on a Senate bill that passed early Tuesday morning.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) vowed to ignore the Senate measure, but a floor vote would automatically occur if 218 House members signed the so-called discharge petition. While using discharge petitions in the House is rare — and rarely successful — the legislative maneuver is the most likely path for the Ukraine aid bill to receive a floor vote.

How It Might Work.

The first step in setting up a discharge petition showdown in the House will begin once Speaker Johnson refers the Senate-passed Ukraine funding bill to a relevant committee of jurisdiction. The assigned committee can sit on the bill for 30 days before proponents of the legislation can file their petition. To force the bill out of committee and onto the floor for an up-or-down vote, proponents will need to secure 218 signatures in favor of discharging the legislation.

House Democrats have an active discharge petition with 213 signatures — first circulated during the debt limit fight last year. If Democrats moved to use this petition for the Ukraine funding bill, they’d likely lose a handful of progressive signatories over the legislation’s aid earmarked for Israel but almost certainly pick up some RINO-Republican votes.

No Guarantees.

With 200 or so Democrat signatories, the next step will be to gain signatures among Republicans in support of the Ukraine funding. Amassing signatories from the majority is easier said than done. Previous discharge petitions have failed at this stage as Members of Congress in the majority are loathe to break ranks — especially if they believe they’ll be punished by leadership.

However, whether the Ukraine funding bill is held up in committee or held from the floor by Speaker Johnson, an attempt at forcing a vote via discharge petition appears likely. If Ukraine funding proponents can gain 218 signatories, not even Speaker Johnson can prevent a floor vote on the $95 billion Ukraine funding bill.

The last time a discharge petition was successful was in 2015, when proponents of the Ex-Im Bank forced a floor vote on its reauthorization.

Senate Passes $95B ‘America Last’ War Package for Ukraine, Israel, & Taiwan.

The United States Senate approved a $95 billion ‘aid’ package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan early Tuesday morning, with all Democrats and 22 Republicans voting for it.

“With the strong bipartisan support we have here in the Senate, with this vote, I believe that if Speaker Johnson brought this bill to the House floor, it will pass with the same strong bipartisan support,” said Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

However, the bill’s future in the House is uncertain, as Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) has expressed his opposition to any foreign aid package without real measures to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.

“[In] the absence of having received any single border policy change from the Senate, the House will have to continue to work its own will on these important matters,” Johnson wrote in a statement released Monday night ahead of the Senate vote. “America deserves better than the Senate’s status quo.”

Former President Donald Trump opposed the bill, writing on Truth Social on Saturday: “NO MONEY IN THE FORM OF FOREIGN AID SHOULD BE GIVEN TO ANY COUNTRY UNLESS IT IS DONE AS A LOAN… WE SHOULD NEVER GIVE MONEY ANYMORE WITHOUT THE HOPE OF A PAYBACK, OR WITHOUT ‘STRINGS’ ATTACHED. THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA SHOULD BE ‘STUPID’ NO LONGER!”

Republican Senators who voted against the bill echoed these sentiments. “We must fix our country before devoting more resources to Ukraine. That’s our message, and the fight goes on,” said Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio).

On Monday, Vance issued a memo to his colleagues warning that the aid package in question contained a buried impeachment trigger that effectively makes it impossible for a future President to work for peace between Ukraine and Russia without being impeached.

Biden Deploys White House Hit Team to Win Back Muslim Voters in Michigan.

A significant number of senior government officials from Joe Biden’s White House are meeting with Muslim and Arab Americans in Michigan today, after polls revealed Biden’s sinking numbers with the demographic since the October 7th Hamas terror attacks and U.S. response.

The meeting will explicitly address the Israel-Hamas war and the civilian deaths in Gaza. The named officials involved include:

  • Steve Benjamin, senior adviser to the president;
  • Tom Perez, senior adviser;
  • Jon Finer, principal deputy national security adviser;
  • Samantha Power, USAID administrator,
  • Jamie Citron, principal deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement;
  • Dan Kosh, director of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs;
  • Mazen Basraw, National Security Council director for partnerships and global engagement.

The utilization of taxpayer-funded resources to help prop up Biden’s election hopes will certainly raise eyebrows.

The same local group canceled on the Biden campaign itself last month, which has led to the White House deploying its resources to prop up the campaign’s failures. Biden has groveled to U.S. Muslims in recent months, even admitting to being “disappointed” in himself over the Israel-Hamas war response. This came after swathes of Muslim Americans said they would withhold their votes in November.

Biden also appointed radical Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud to the State Department’s Assembly of Local Leaders program. Hammoud, known for his staunch anti-Israel positions, excused the Hamas terror attack on the Jewish state as “inevitable.”

‘We Need to Do It’ – Ex-UK Foreign Secretary Urges Return of ‘National Service’.

Lord William Hague, a former British Foreign Secretary and Conservative Party leader, is urging the government to introduce a modern form of the universal draft as the country further embroils itself in wars in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Hague, now a lawmaker in the House of Lords, wants Britain’s major political parties to commit to a Norwegian-style draft ahead of national elections this year. This would involve roughly a fifth of youngsters being conscripted to serve in uniform for 12 to 18 months, forming a reserve and enabling the military to expand to 870,000-strong in a crisis.

He wrote in the Times of London this week:

National Service is firmly associated with the past. It’s what they did in the 1940s and 1950s, isn’t it? That was our dads and grandads. How very 20th century. It is not seen as compatible with our hyper-individualistic age. How dare we disturb the idea that everyone has a lot of rights without any responsibility to protect them?

Most people with such fears can rest easy: the last thing the army needs is several million unwilling conscripts on its hands. But now we need the 21st-century version of National Service: not its return but its reinvention, bringing the prospect of skills, motivation, recognition and inclusion for individuals while ensuring the security of the country.

Sweden has just set an example of this, reinstating civic duty for 18-year-olds, which includes training in emergency services or maintaining vital infrastructure as alternatives to the armed forces. “Citizenship is not a travel document,” explained the Swedish prime minister, but comes with obligations as well.

TERROR WORKS!? – UK May Recognize ‘Palestinian State’ to Aid ‘Peace’ Talks.

Lord David Cameron, the Foreign Secretary and former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has discussed recognizing a Palestinian state with Arab diplomats — a move intended to pressure Israel into adopting a “two-state solution.”

“We should be starting to set out what a Palestinian state would look like — what it would comprise, how it would work,” he told the Conservative Middle East Council at a meeting in Parliament on Monday.

“As that happens, we, with allies, will look at the issue of recognizing a Palestinian state, including at the United Nations,” he continued, suggesting this “could be one of the things that helps to make this process irreversible.”

However, the United Nations’ involvement in the recognition of a Palestinian state is unlikely to be seen positively in Israel after it was revealed that members of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) took part in the October 7, 2023 terror attacks against Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also increasingly dismissive of a two-state solution, which the Joe Biden regime and the European Union favor. He argues Israel “must have security control over all the territory west of the Jordan” to be able to defend itself effectively — and that this “necessary condition… conflicts with the idea of [Palestinian] sovereignty.”

‘Confusion’ Led to Deadly Drone Attack Which Killed U.S. Servicemen.

The U.S. military failed to down a drone that killed three American servicemen and wounded dozens more because it was confused with a returning U.S. drone.

Questions were raised as to why the drone strike, claimed by the Iran-backed Islamic Resistance in Iraq, was not stopped by air defenses before it struck Tower 22, a U.S. outpost in Jordan. Officials now say a U.S. drone was returning to base at the same time the jihadist drone was inbound, allowing it to glide in unmolested.

The attack on Tower 22 marks the first time American personnel have been killed in the Middle East since October 2023, when they began to be targeted over Washington’s support for the Israelis in their ongoing retaliatory offensive against Hamas in Gaza.

Hostilities intensified over recent weeks after Yemen-based Houthi terrorists began targeting civilian shipping in the Red Sea to put pressure on Israel and its backers, prompting American and British air attacks.

Iran has denied any involvement in the attack on Tower 22. The White House has said it will respond, but it is currently unclear whether or not they will acquiesce to demands from GOP war hawks such as Senator Lindsey Graham to strike Iran directly.

Western Nations Have Donated Over $8 BILLION To UNRWA – Whose Staff Aided Hamas Terror – Over 10 Years.

An analysis by The National Pulse has revealed that Western nations donated over $8 billion to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRW) between 2013 and 2022. Over $2.5 billion came from the United States alone.

According to data compiled by UNRWA, in the ten years from 2013 to 2022, the United States gave $2,558,830,210, the EU and its member states collectively gave $5,246,475,932, and Australia, Canada, and New Zealand gave a combined $313,429,066 to the controversial agency — a grand total of $8,118,735,208.

At least 11 nations have announced their intention to stop funding UNRWA following revelations that some of its employees directly took part in the October 7, 2023, terrorist attack against Israel, including participating in massacres at an Israel Kibbutz and kidnapping women.

In the final two years of his presidency, Donald Trump eliminated U.S. funding for UNRWA. The Biden regime reauthorized funding for the agency and gave it a combined $682,337,718 in 2021 and 2022. Figures for 2023 funding for UNRWA are not yet available.

Scotland’s First Minister, Humza Yousaf, Won’t Defund UN Agency Whose Staff Participated in Oct 7 Hamas Terror Attack.

First Minister Humza Yousaf says the Scottish Government, roughly equivalent to a U.S. state government, will not suspend funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA), despite evidence a dozen of its personnel participated in the Hamas terror raid against Israel on October 7th.

This decision comes as Britain’s central government joins the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, Italy, Iceland, Estonia, and Japan in suspending donations to the UNRWA, whose personnel are accused of participating in massacres at an Israeli kibbutz and kidnapping women, among other charges.

Yousaf is married to a Palestinian, has advocated for Israel to cease operations in Gaza, and wants the West to take in Gazan migrants. He has insisted his administration will not halt existing funding.

Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross has criticized Yousaf’s pro-UNRWA stance as inconsistent with the international consensus that the UN agency is compromised and potentially confusing for the public.

MidEast Involvement Has Cost U.S. $1.6 Billion Since October 7, 2023.

U.S. military buildup in the Middle East following the October 7, 2023 Hamas terror attack on Israel has cost $1.6 billion — and the Pentagon can’t afford to pay it.

The tab includes money spent on sending additional warships, fighter jets, and equipment to the region and maintaining their presence. It does not include the cost of the missiles used to strike Houthi positions in Yemen or to down drones and other missiles in the Red Sea.

In total, so far, $29.2 million has been spent on military personnel costs; $708.6 million on operations and maintenance; $528.4 million on procurement; $51.9 million on research, development, testing, and evaluation; and $248.5 million on transportation.

The Pentagon admitted last year that it does not have the funds to pay for the Middle East buildup due to ongoing budget negotiations in Congress. Although Congress recently passed a temporary measure to avoid a government shutdown, military appropriations have yet to be authorized.

Congressional appropriators received the estimated bill from the Department of Defense in response to inquiries about the rising cost of the country’s increasing military involvement in the region. The estimate suggests the total cost could rise to $2.2 billion over a full year.
