Trump Might Have to Bail Out Ted Cruz – Should He?

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) may need some help from President Donald J. Trump in getting across the finish line in the Lone Star State. Recent polling data suggests Cruz, seeking his third term in the U.S. Senate, is running a concerning five points behind Trump in Texas. The gap suggests Cruz may be vulnerable, with his Democrat opponent, Colin Allred, running just a point behind him.

An October voter survey released by Emerson College shows Cruz leading Allred 48 percent to 47 percent. Meanwhile, Trump has a comfortable lead over Vice President Kamala Harris, with 53 percent to her 46 percent. While the five-point gap between Trump and Cruz is concerning, even more alarming is the survey suggesting independent voters are breaking for Allred 47 percent to 42 percent. Conversely, those same independents break for Trump with 49 percent to Harris’s 47 percent.

CRUZ’S JEFF ROE PROBLEM.

Complicating matters in Texas is Cruz’s symbiotic relationship with Republican political consultant Jeff Roe. Without Roe, Cruz likely would not have won his initial Senate run in 2012, and without Cruz, Roe likely would still be a relatively unknown entity in campaign consulting outside his home state of Missouri.

While Roe‘s national profile took a severe hit during the 2024 Republican presidential primary—as the consultant spearheading Governor Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) disastrous campaign—he retains relevance because of Cruz. However, there are some in both Trump-world and the Republican Party at large who may not mind seeing Sen. Cruz lose his seat if it means being rid of Roe once and for all. During the 2024 primary, Roe was often taunted by Trump campaign advisor Chris LaCivita on X (formerly Twitter), with the latter slamming Roe’s management of the pro-DeSantis Never Back Down SuperPAC.

After DeSantis dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump’s 2024 bid to retake the White House, LaCivita and Trump advisor Susie Wiles pushed lawmakers on Capitol Hill, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, to drop Roe as a consultant. Johnson, for his part, complied—cutting ties with Roe this past February.

Kamala Backs Mass Amnesty for Illegals in Rambling Interview.

Vice President Kamala Harris is backing mass amnesty for illegal immigrants instead of mass deportations, which are supported by a majority of the American people. The immigration policy revelation came during a disjointed response by the 2024 Democrat Party presidential nominee to a question posed by Telemundo.

“Right now, we’re talking about border security and there’s nobody—no Democrat—talking about a pathway to citizenship, an immigration relief,” pressed Telemundo’s Julio Vaqueiro before Harris interjected: “I am!”

Vaqueiro continued, emphasizing Democrats are not talking enough about the “benefits migrants bring to this country.” At this point, Harris engages in one of her signature rambling, nonsensical interview answers.

“Oh, but there is no question that [pause] migrants bring. America is a country that is, was built, in part, by immigrants,” the vice president says, appearing confused by her own response. When pressed further by Vaqueiro regarding concerns among immigrants about mass deportations, Harris—becoming visibly frustrated and angry—says: “I’m not talking about other… Uh, we need smart, humane immigration policy in America that includes a pathway to citizenship.”

The Biden-Harris government has overseen an unprecedented surge in illegal immigration across the U.S. southern border in its nearly four years in power. Upwards of 20 million or more foreign nationals are believed to have entered the country illegally between 2021 and 2024, resulting in violent foreign criminal gangs—like Venezula’s Tren de Aragua—establishing themselves in numerous American cities.

The unchecked flow of illegal immigrants has resulted in several high-profile incidents where U.S. citizens were murdered by migrants who had been released into the country by the Biden-Harris government pending an immigration court date.

Meta’s Own Oversight Board Dings Facebook for Censoring Harris-Walz Nipple-Pinching Parody.

Meta Platforms’ Oversight Board has instructed the company to reinstate a Facebook post that parodied Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz. The post superimposed their faces onto a Dumb and Dumber movie poster, depicting the characters pinching each other’s nipples through their clothing. Meta had removed the post, citing its policy against “derogatory sexualized photoshop” manipulations, but restored it after the board stepped in to review the case.

The board criticized Meta for overreacting to what was clearly a political parody. It noted that the original movie poster featured characters known for crude humor, and Harris and Walz’s altered image was non-sexual. Meta later admitted that its initial decision to take down the post was a mistake, blaming human error.

“This post is a typical example of political satire and should be recognized as such,” the board wrote, adding that Meta’s initial misstep calls into question the effectiveness of its content moderation systems.

Conservatives have long complained that Meta censors too much of their content, while progressives complain that the platform does not censor conservative “misinformation” enough. Meta relies on AI-driven moderation and outsourced human moderators, frequently failing to recognize satire.

Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg claims he is getting out of the election interference business. However, undercover reporters recently released hidden camera footage suggesting his platforms are still manipulating the online conversation in Harris’s favor.

U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioner Brendan Carr has also been calling out Facebook for censoring factually accurate information on the failure of a Harris-led rural broadband initiative in recent days.

Wrong-Way Driver Nearly Collides with Kamala’s Motorcade.

Local authorities have arrested a 55-year-old man for allegedly driving the wrong way near Vice President Kamala Harris‘s motorcade on Monday evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Local news footage released Wednesday showed the close call as the motorcade navigated through the area.

The man reportedly had an open beer can inside his vehicle at the time of the incident. Officers on the scene conducted several field sobriety tests, which he reportedly failed. The motorcade was not involved in any collisions, and Harris was unharmed.

Officials have charged the driver on suspicion of drunk driving, along with second-degree “recklessly endangering safety.” Local media reports suggest the suspect appears to have no memory of driving against traffic.

The incident has focused renewed attention on drunk driving laws and enforcement, with various community leaders emphasizing public safety. Harris’s running mate, Tim Walz, was previously arrested for driving while intoxicated, lying about the incident being the result of a police officer misunderstanding him due to hearing issues until court transcripts were uncovered proving this was untrue.

Nate Silver Predicts Trump Victory.

Nate Silver, known for his analytical work at FiveThirtyEight, predicts a victory for former President Donald J. Trump in November. In a piece published in the New York Times on Wednesday, Silver writes, “In an election where the seven battleground states are all polling within a percentage point or two, 50-50 is the only responsible forecast… Yet when I deliver this unsatisfying news, I inevitably get a question: ‘C’mon, Nate, what’s your gut say?’ So OK, I’ll tell you. My gut says Donald Trump.”

Silver believes his gut feeling may resonate with “many anxious Democrats.” Previously, Democrat pollsters have expressed fear that Trump’s support is being significantly undercounted, as it was in 2016 and 2020, which would turn tight margins between Trump and Harris into comfortable leads for the America First leader.

“What accentuates my concern is when you poll people who have not voted in ’20 but are planning to vote today, they are disproportionately Trump voters,” said pollster Celinda Lake in September.

Silver is skeptical that there are “shy Trump voters” who mislead pollsters but believes there may be merit to the idea that the former president’s supporters have a “nonresponse bias.” They “often have lower civic engagement and social trust, so they can be less inclined to complete a survey from a news organization,” he observes.

On his election prediction more broadly, Silver cautions people against placing too much credence on his instinct or anyone else’s. He emphasizes, “A 50-50 forecast really does mean 50-50.”

Kamala Caught Plagiarizing AGAIN.

In 2007, Kamala Harris, then the San Francisco district attorney, testified before Congress to support the John R. Justice Prosecutors and Defenders Incentive Act, aiming to create a student loan repayment program for state and local prosecutors. However, it has been revealed that Harris’s testimony was largely plagiarized from another district attorney, Paul Logli, a Republican from Winnebago County, Illinois.

Logli had testified on the same bill two months earlier before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Both Harris and Logli’s statements used identical language, cited the same surveys, and even contained the same grammatical errors. Harris’s testimony was essentially a copy-paste job with very few changes besides minor tweaks in punctuation and wording.

Already under fire for appearing to plagiarize multiple sections of her 2009 book Smart on Crime, the similarities between Harris’s and Logli’s testimonies raise questions about the Democratic presidential nominee’s integrity.

A plagiarism review has found many examples of Harris appearing to copy her work over the years. Examples include lifting a paragraph from Wikipedia in a 2012 report on human trafficking and lifting from a New York State judge in a 2014 report on transnational gangs.

Newspaper That Has Endorsed Dems Since 2008 Passes on Kamala.

The Los Angeles Times is declining to endorse a presidential candidate in the 2024 election despite previously endorsing Democratic candidates in every election cycle since 2008. Owner Patrick Soon-Shiong reportedly blocked the editorial board from endorsing Kamala Harris via executive editor Terry Tang.

The newspaper has not explained its decision, but Semfaor notes the LA Times has “raised eyebrows over several local endorsements it made in recent election cycles of candidates supported by Soon-Shiong’s daughter Nika.”

Nika Soon-Shiong promotes pro-Palestinian politicians and far-left policy positions on issues such as reparations. She frequently posts or reposts content jabbing at the Harris-Walz campaign and the Biden-Harris government for their stance on Israel and other issues on social media.

“Project 2025 is not responsible for FEMA’s $9 billion budget shortfall – announced alongside $8.7 billion in new military ‘aid’ to Israel,” she posted on October 2, in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Harris’s failure to appeal to leftists like Nika Soon-Shiong could cost her the 2024 race, with voters with strong views on Israel and Palestinian issues staying home or voting third party rather than backing a candidate they regard as complicit in Israeli military action in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.

Arab Americans, including the mayor of Muslim-majority Hamtramck, are increasingly backing Donald Trump, and the Michigan campaign group that urged Democrats to vote ‘Uncommitted’ rather than for the now-ousted Joe Biden in the Democratic primary is refusing to endorse Harris.

Musk Declares ‘War.’

Elon Musk, owner of the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, has declared “war” amid allegations that a group linked to Britain’s governing Labour Party, whose founder also advises Vice President Kamala Harris, is actively trying to destroy the platform. “This is war,” Musk said in response to alleged internal documents from the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), provided to journalist Paul D. Thacker by a whistleblower.

The documents state the CCDH’s annual priorities, including “Kill Musk’s Twitter” and “Trigger EU & UK regulatory action.” According to Thacker, the British group is also heavily tied to the Democrats, holding a private conference with members of the Biden-Harris White House, State Department officials, as well as Canadian New Democrat lawmaker Peter Julian and others.

Morgan McSweeney, the founder of the CCDH, recently became Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s chief of staff in Britain. McSweeney is also said to have advised Vice President Kamala Harris and her campaign.

Labour and the Democrats have grown increasingly close this year, as several Labour Members of Parliament (MPs) and senior staffers attended the Democratic National Convention this year.

Around a hundred or more current and former Labour staffers are traveling to the United States to help the Harris campaign in key swing states, fueling accusations of foreign election interference.

Elon Musk, who supports President Trump, has stated that he expects to go to prison if Harris wins the presidency. Currently, several departments of the Biden-Harris regime are engaged in a massive lawfare campaign against the tech billionaire and his companies, such as Tesla, X, and SpaceX.

Kamala Campaign Smashes the Panic Button in Michigan.

Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign is fretting over whether the Democratic Vice President will be able to hold the so-called “blue wall” states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The three Rust Belt states typically trend together in terms of which candidate wins their electoral votes—though there are some signs that may change this election cycle. According to a senior Harris campaign official, Michigan has especially become a concern.

“There has been a thought that maybe Michigan or Wisconsin will fall off,” a Harris campaign official tells NBC News. The individual, along with other Harris campaign sources, stresses that Michigan is the bigger concern at the moment.

Should Harris lose either Michigan or Wisconsin, her path to the White House becomes far more difficult. The Democratic Vice President would need to make up for the loss with a win in North Carolina or a combination of several other swing states to reach 270 electoral votes. However, the Harris campaign is also feeling less confident regarding North Carolina, with at least one campaign official acknowledging the state appears to be slipping away.

A combination of factors is complicating the Democratic Party’s efforts to win Michigan. Arab-American voters are showing signs of turning against Harris over U.S. support for Israel’s war against Hamas and Hezbollah. Meanwhile, several recent endorsements of  President Donald J. Trump by Arab-American and Muslim leaders in Michigan are likely to push the community toward the Republican nominee.

Additionally, Trump has seen a surge in support from rank-and-file union members, with polling conducted by the Teamsters suggesting their members are breaking for the former president by a nearly two-to-one margin over Harris. A decisive break for Trump among working-class voters could potentially push the entire “blue wall” into the Republican column on election night.

Trump Threatens CBS with Lawsuit for Concealing Kamala’s ’60 Minutes’ Transcript.

Former President Donald J. Trump‘s legal team has threatened legal action against CBS News if the network does not publish the full transcript of its 60 Minutes interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. The controversy centers on differing versions of Harris’s response to a question about Israel. A promotional clip of the interview showed a long, rambling answer. However, the version of the interview that went to air shows an entirely different, more assured answer, with the original not present even in the interview’s written transcript.

Attorney Edward Andrew Paltzik, representing Trump, accuses CBS of manipulative editing intended to confuse voters about Harris’s capabilities, presenting her in a more favorable light. He argues that news outlets have a duty to present accurate information rather than skew interviews to benefit a preferred candidate. Trump’s legal team has requested the release of the complete, unedited transcript to the public, emphasizing the network’s obligation to retain all related documents and communications for potential litigation.

CBS claims the disparity results from using different sections of the same answer in their programming. A statement released by 60 Minutes says that an excerpt given to Face the Nation included a lengthier segment than what was eventually broadcast. The network maintains that the excerpts were part of one consistent response—but the originally released version of Harris’s answer is not just longer, it is completely different.

On Truth Social, Trump denounced the editing as potentially the biggest scandal in broadcast history and demanded CBS release the full transcript, alleging that Harris’s response was altered significantly to enhance her image.
