Britain’s New Deputy Prime Minister Has Spent Almost $100,000 in Public Cash on a Private Photographer.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom is spending over $86,000 a year on a personal photographer, claiming she needs the photographer to show the public what she is doing. Labour‘s Angela Rayner, number two in Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s government, claimed, “There’s a kind of balance to be had, because sometimes you get ‘well, you never see her,’ or ‘she’s only doing that for a photo opportunity.'”

She insisted she was “try[ing] and strike the right balance between letting people know what you’re doing and here you are.” The revelation about Rayner’s photographer follows her disastrous immigration interview on Sunday, December 8. In it, she was interrogated about the government boasting it will build 1.5 million new homes—while being expected to let at least 2.5 million immigrants into the country.

Between mid-2022 and mid-2023, England and Wales saw their largest population increase in 75 years, adding over 610,000 people. Labour initially promised to prioritize British citizens over migrants for public housing, but Rayner, who serves as Housing Secretary, scrapped the idea.

The Labour government, which won a large majority in the House of Commons in a July snap election despite a low share of the popular vote, has seen what popularity it had decline massively since it came to power.

Prime Minister Starmer’s party now ranks third in some polls, behind Brexit leader Nigel Farage’s Reform Party and the Conservatives. This polling has led Reform chairman Zia Yusuf to state that he feels confident the populist party can form Britain’s next government.

CNN Faces Giant Law Suit After ‘Defaming’ Navy Veteran.

Judicial proceedings are set to continue in a case involving Navy veteran Zachary Young, who says cable network CNN defamed him in a 2021 report regarding the evacuation of Afghan families. Young, along with his enterprise Nemex, filed a lawsuit against the network after a segment suggested he charged excessive fees without guaranteeing safety or success during Joe Biden’s bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan. The broadcast displayed Young’s image alongside a caption mentioning “black markets” and high charges.

Judge William Henry of Florida recently determined that the case must go to trial, emphasizing that a jury needs to decide whether the term “black market” was intended to imply illegal activities by Young. According to his judgment, there is enough evidence suggesting CNN might have known the claims were false or acted recklessly.

Henry asserted that the trial could explore whether CNN acted with “actual malice,” particularly through the use of the phrase “black market,” which could lead to punitive damages.

The network offered no comment, but CNN aired a clarification on March 25, 2022, in which anchor Jake Tapper acknowledged an error in terminology and apologized to Young during a segment of his show, The Lead.

Some references used in the broadcast, such as terms like “exorbitant” and “exploit,” were deemed opinions by Judge Henry and thus not actionable. Moreover, the court concluded that Nemex Enterprises was not directly implicated as it was not mentioned in the report.

It’s a Man’s World: Tranny Beats Women to Win Model of the Year.

A transgender-identifying man has been named Model of the Year, surpassing five female contenders at the British Fashion Awards. Alex Cosani won the title on Monday night, defeating five women, including Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.

In his acceptance speech, the 21-year-old emphasized the alleged importance of uplifting marginalized voices. “You fought for this space that allowed me to flourish today, and I’m eternally grateful for that,” Cosani stated, calling his win a step forward.

The British Fashion Council (BFC) described the award as a recognition of a model’s global impact over the past year, including editorial and advertising contributions.

The announcement prompted varied reactions online. Some social media users questioned the fairness of a biologically male Model of the Year winner, with one commenter inquiring, “Is this fair?” Others expressed dissatisfaction with the shift in modeling standards.

Cosani has previously made headlines as one of the first biologically male transgender models on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway.

The win for Cosani comes after a number of female awards for beauty have been won by transgenders, including Kataluna Enriquez, who won Miss Nevada in 2021, and Rikkie Valerie Kollé, who won the Miss Netherlands beauty competition last year.

Transgenders in women’s sports have also been nominated for awards, including swimmer Lia Thomas, who was nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year award in 2022.

DATA: Viewers Abandoned CNN, MSNBC After Election.

In the aftermath of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Fox News experienced significant gains in viewership. The network captured 62 percent of the overall cable news audience, marking its highest cable news share to date. On Election Night and during Vice President Kamala Harris’s concession, Fox News was the most-watched network.

Fox saw growth across crucial metrics, with 3.181 million total viewers in primetime and 476,000 in the Adults 25-54 demographic. Compared to October 2024, primetime total viewers increased by 16 percent, and the demo surged by 33 percent. Over a year-to-year comparison, Fox News experienced an 84 percent rise in total viewers and a 139 percent jump in the demographic during primetime.

In contrast, MSNBC and CNN faced massive declines post-election. MSNBC’s primetime viewership decreased by 22 percent month-to-month, its total day viewership dropped by 20 percent, and the demographic decreased by six percent.

CNN also reported declines, with a 13 percent drop in primetime total viewers from the previous month, despite a 12 percent uptick in the demographic. Across the total day, CNN saw a nine percent decrease in viewership, although the demographic increased by eight percent.

Fox News led in November as the top cable network in total-day viewership, while CNN and MSNBC trailed behind. The networks collectively experienced better performance in the Adults 25-54 demographic during primetime than the prior month, with MSNBC uniquely losing in this category for the total-day timeframe.

Would-Be Trump Assassin Sends Letter to Media Revealing Obama, Iran-Linked Shooting Motive.

Ryan Routh, the gunman accused of attempting to assassinate President Donald J. Trump at one of his golf courses in Florida, has sent a letter to the corporate media from his federal detention facility, revealing his political motivations. Addressed to POLITICO and other outlets, the letter sharply criticizes Trump’s foreign policy, particularly his withdrawal from President Barack Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Routh bizarrely accused Trump of destabilizing the Middle East, parroting the Iranian regime and Democrat Party talking points, and blaming Trump for “all those lives lost and all the destruction.”

In the letter, Routh called for peace in the region, urging Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken to negotiate with Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. “We must demand that Israel stop their attacks and find common ground,” he wrote, positioning himself as a critic of U.S. foreign policy under Trump.

The JCPOA, in fact, emboldened Iran and its proxies, and Routh is known for his long-standing fealty to the Islamic Republic, though his personal connections are not yet known. In 2018, he wrote to the Iranian government: “You are free to assassinate Trump.”

While disavowing direct allegiance to the Democratic Party, Routh referred to Trump as a “dictator,” echoing Democratic and media talking points. In the letter, he aligned his rhetoric with common anti-Trump arguments, warning of civil war and advocating for limits on presidential power. Despite disclaiming party affiliation, his attacks mirrored Democratic critiques of Trump’s policies and leadership style.

Routh also linked himself to Thomas Crooks, who was killed earlier this year during another assassination attempt on Trump. Both men, he claimed, were “ready to die for freedom and democracy.” Though he avoided a direct confession, Routh referred to himself repeatedly as the “Trump Alleged Shooter.”

Here’s Who Might Take Over Britain’s Most Iconic Right-Leaning Newspaper.

Dovid Efune, owner of The New York Sun, has entered exclusive negotiations to purchase the United Kingdom’s Daily and Sunday Telegraph for £550 million ($718 million). A former editor with the New York-based Algemeiner Journal—a Jewish news-focused publication—Efune submitted the highest bid for the newspapers last month, beating out three other bidders. A six-week due diligence period is anticipated to assess Efune’s suitability for the acquisition. The agreement would ultimately require approval from the Labour government’s Culture Secretary, Lisa Nandy.

Meanwhile, current staff at the publications are worried that Efune’s staunch pro-Israel views will result in his editorial intervention in their coverage of the ongoing crisis in the Middle East following Hamas’s barbaric October 7 terrorist attacks against the Jewish state. Some Daily and Sunday Telegraph staff worry the betting process will solely focus on Efune’s financial fitness and not his religion or personal politics.

Financially, The New York Sun owner is backed by asset managers Oaktree and Hudson Bay Capital Management and the family office of U.S. hedge fund manager Michael Leffell.

Despite staff concerns, Efune has heaped praise on the British newspapers. “The Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph symbolise the very best of world-class, independent journalism and a commitment to relentlessly seeking the public interest,” he said in a recent interview. “This unique institution has a storied history as a pillar of the British press, dedicated to providing readers uninhibited, clear-eyed coverage of the most consequential issues of the day.”

He added: “As a lifelong newsman—variably as reporter, columnist, editor, and now publisher—I believe strongly that these values, in general, are fundamental to the advancement of any journalistic enterprise. It’s with these principles that the Telegraph is best positioned for even greater success going forward.”

BREAKING: Taylor Lorenz Out at Washington Post After Calling Biden a ‘War Criminal.’

Blogger Taylor Lorenz has left the Washington Post several weeks after she posted an Instagram story that showed her attending a Joe Biden speech at the White House with the caption “war criminal :(.”

Lorenz’s departure is being billed as her opportunity to become an internet “content creator” more than a traditional news reporter. She is starting a Substack called “User Magazine,” where she says she will discuss social media from a user perspective.

Lorenz is a 40+-year-old New Yorker who often attempts to ingratiate herself within the culture of much younger, often sub-20-year-olds online. She gained notoriety by doxxing the Libs of TikTok account, which made fun of far-left activists by using their own clips on social media.

Lorenz claims to have post-traumatic stress disorder from online “harassment” and continues to wear a COVID-era face mask, often outdoors.

Before her tenure at the Post, Lorenz covered internet culture for the New York Times and the far-left Daily Beast. She also hosts a podcast called Power User for Vox Media.

Gaybraham Lincoln? Documentary Claims ‘Honest Abe’ Was a Closet Homosexual.

Filmmaker Shaun Peterson contends that the bulk of scholarly work on the life of President Abraham Lincoln is wrong. According to Peterson, Lincoln was a homosexual who preferred the company of men—a case he argues in a new documentary, Lover of Men: The Untold History of Abraham Lincoln, released on July 10.

The documentary “examines the intimate life of America’s most consequential president, Abraham Lincoln. As told by preeminent Lincoln scholars and never before seen photographs and letters, the film details Lincoln’s romantic relationships with men.”

“The film fills in an important missing piece of American history and challenges the audience to consider why we hold such a limited view of human sexuality,” the film’s synopsis states, continuing: “Lover of Men is not only an exploration of gender roles and sexual identity, but also serves as an examination of American intolerance.”

According to Peterson—and allegedly never before seen letters authored by Lincoln—the sixteenth American president slept with more men than he did women. The crux of the contention that Lincoln was a closeted gay man is letters he exchanged with a childhood friend, Joshua Fry Speed. “Dear Speed, I shall be very lonesome without you. Love, Lincoln,” one letter reads.

SO, WAS LINCOLN GAY?

The idea of Lincoln being a homosexual dates to a 1926 biography by Carl Sandburg, which refers to Lincoln’s relationship with Speed as having “a streak of lavender, and spots soft as May violets.”

While some have interpreted Sandberg’s words as suggesting Lincoln was a closeted gay man, in reality, the author was referring to the more vulnerable relationship between two friends, which belied their more public-facing images of masculinity.

Letters supposedly authored by Lincoln explicitly detailing his homosexuality—and ‘found’ by gay rights activist Larry Kramer in 1999—are widely believed to be a hoax.

Recent attempts to ‘queer‘ popular fictional characters have fallen flat with audiences. The National Pulse reported in May that the ratings for the latest season of the British science fiction adventure Doctor Who have crashed following the introduction of the first “openly queer” black Doctor, played by Rwandan migrant Ncuti Gatwa.

Meanwhile, Disney‘s Star Wars: Acolyte—which features predominantly nonbinary and lesbian characters—has been widely panned by viewers and even some critics.

The Washington Post Will Now Be Led by Two Brits Who Broke One of the Biggest Scandals in UK Politics.

Sally Buzbee announced she is stepping down as executive editor of The Washington Post. Buzbee’s departure came as a surprise to many late on Sunday night, including Post reporters themselves.

Buzbee will be succeeded by Matt Murray, the former Editor-in-Chief of the Wall Street Journal, in the short term. British investigative reporter Robert Winnett, currently the deputy editor of The Telegraph Media Group, will also join the Post in a new role designed to oversee core coverage areas like politics, investigations, business, technology, sports, and features.

Winnett, who began his national newspaper career at Rupert Murdoch’s Sunday Times, moved to the Telegraph nearly two decades ago, assisting in the coverage of the massive parliamentary expenses scandal story that broke in 2009. At the time, Winnett worked under Will Lewis, who is now the publisher of the Bezos-owned Post.

Winnett and Lewis aren’t the only Brits making America their home for news reporting. CNN recently brought in the BBC’s Mark Thompson. GB News recently sent reporter Steven Edginton to Washington, D.C., and the Daily Mail’s Rob Crilly can often be spotted around Capitol Hill. The National Pulse is also edited by a Brit, Raheem Kassam.

WATCH: Trump Says Nikki Haley ‘Absolutely On The Team in Some Form.’

Former President Donald Trump told News 12 New Jersey’s Tara Rosenblum that neoconservative primary opponent Nikki Haley will “absolutely” be “on our team in some form,” following his successful Bronx rally in New York on Thursday.

A self-appointed bête noire of the MAGA movement, Haley and her donors have been attempting to position her for Vice President or another senior position in Trump’s cabinet should he win in November 2024.

“Well, I think she’s gonna be on our team because we have a lot of the same ideas, same thoughts,” Trump said, adding: “I appreciated what she said. You know, we had a nasty campaign. It was pretty nasty. But she’s a very capable person, and I’m sure she’s going to be on our team in some form. Absolutely.”

Haley’s partners, meanwhile, have been participating in phone calls with the Joe Biden for President campaign. Her family members have even been publicly claiming they will launch a bid against Trump at the Republican Party Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in July.
