Scientists are Investigating Something Called ‘Disease X’ – Here’s What We Know.

International health authorities have been dispatched to the Democratic Republic of Congo to address a respiratory illness of unknown origin. Over the weekend, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that a team has been sent to the region to discover the cause of the illness and enhance local healthcare efforts. Currently, Congolese health officials have reported 406 cases and 31 fatalities, with a significant impact on young children.

The illness, referred to as “Disease X” by the African Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, shares symptoms with the flu. These symptoms include body aches, fever, coughing, difficulty breathing, and anemia. Although most cases have emerged in the Kwango Province, Italian news source Il Tempo noted that a traveler from Congo was hospitalized upon developing symptoms abroad.

The precise cause of Disease X remains unknown, but WHO and other organizations use this term for unidentified pathogens that could potentially lead to pandemics. The United Nations (UN) hopes that ongoing tests will provide clarity. The outbreak has predominantly affected a poverty-stricken and remote area, taking 48 hours to reach from Kinshasa, Congo’s capital. Consequently, testing supplies were limited before the arrival of the WHO team.

The underlying explanation might be an outbreak of a known deadly pathogen or multiple diseases, given Congo’s chronic struggle with epidemics due to inadequate healthcare access. The WHO statement indicates that diseases such as acute pneumonia, influenza, COVID-19, measles, and malaria are under consideration as potential sources, with malnutrition possibly exacerbating the situation. Malaria, commonly found in the area, could be a contributing factor.

New Hungarian PM Promises STRONGER Borders, No Migration Pact With EU.

Hungary’s incoming Prime Minister, Péter Magyar, has pledged to strengthen Viktor Orbán’s already strict immigration policies and reject the European Union’s Migration Pact.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Hungary’s incoming Prime Minister, Péter Magyar, has announced that his government will not participate in the European Union (EU) Migration Pact, and pledged to reinforce Hungary’s border “even more.” Additionally, Magyar appears likely to cut legal immigration, having pledged to eliminate non-EU guest worker programs on the campaign trail.
📺 DETAIL: Magyar’s stance comes after his election defeat of outgoing Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who frequently clashed with the EU on immigration, sovereignty, and funding for Ukraine. EU officials openly celebrated Magyar’s ouster of Orbán, but while the incoming premier has signaled greater cooperation with the EU, such as not blocking a €90 billion loan to Ukraine, it appears he will remain firmly opposed to EU migration policies.
🎯 IMPACT: Magyar’s rejection of the Migration Pact and his commitment to border reinforcement signal that Hungary will remain a key opponent of EU open border policies, despite the European establishment celebrating his ouster of Orbán. Notably, Magyar was until 2024 a member of Orbán’s party, suggesting his government may not be the sharp break from Orbánism many globalists have been hoping for.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Hungary will not accept any pact. In fact, I’m going to reinforce the border fence even more.” – Péter Magyar
📺 FLASHBACK: Viktor Orbán, Magyar’s predecessor, was frequently criticized by the EU for his hardline immigration policies, including the construction of border fences and refusal to accept EU migrant quotas. Orbán’s policies often led to clashes with EU leadership, including European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who welcomed Magyar’s election.

Pro-Life Activist Wins $1 Million Settlement Over DOJ Raid and Prosecution.

Mark Houck, a pro-life activist, has secured a seven-figure settlement after suing the Department of Justice (DOJ) for a controversial Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raid and prosecution under the former Biden government.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Pro-life activist Mark Houck has reached a settlement exceeding $1 million with the Department of Justice (DOJ) after suing over his 2022 arrest by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Houck had been accused of violating the FACE Act following a 2021 altercation outside a Planned Parenthood clinic, but was acquitted by a jury in 2023.
📺 DETAIL: In 2022, a SWAT team of approximately 25 agents arrested Houck at his home in front of his children, leading to criticism of the Biden Justice Department for targeting pro-life activists disproportionately. Houck’s lawsuit accused the DOJ of conducting a “faulty investigation” and using “excessive force” during the raid. A recent DOJ report revealed evidence of selective prosecution against pro-life activists under the Biden government, including coordination with pro-abortion groups and even withholding evidence in some cases.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “This Department will not tolerate a two-tiered system of justice… The weaponization that happened under the Biden Administration will not happen again.” – DOJ Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche
🎯 IMPACT: The settlement highlights the growing scrutiny over the DOJ’s mishandling of cases involving pro-life activists and raises questions about the Democrats’ politicization of federal law enforcement. Houck’s case has become a rallying point for conservatives calling for accountability and reform within the Justice Department.
📺 FLASHBACK: Emails uncovered by the aforementioned internal investigation reveal DOJ officials under the Biden government referring to Christian pro-lifers as “culty” and working to exclude them from jury pools, and in one instance, complaining about a “very Catholic” magistrate who was “very particular” about “not infringing on [defendants’] First Amendment rights.” On average, pro-life defendants faced more than double the average prison terms sought for pro-abortion defendants in FACE Act cases, strongly indicating that pro-lifers were not treated fairly.

J6 Pipe Bomber Hit with Additional Charges.

A Virginia man accused of planting pipe bombs near the DNC and RNC headquarters before January 6, 2021, now faces additional felony charges.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Brian Cole Jr., 30, of Virginia, has been indicted on new felony charges for allegedly planting pipe bombs near the Democratic and Republican National Committee headquarters the night before January 6, 2021. The updated indictment includes charges of attempting to use weapons of mass destruction and committing an act of terrorism while armed.
📺 DETAIL: Cole had previously been arrested in December and charged with transporting and placing the devices, which the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) confirmed were functional, though they did not detonate. Court filings reveal Cole admitted to constructing and planting the bombs, citing frustration over the 2020 election and dissatisfaction with both political parties. He reportedly told investigators, “something just snapped,” and claimed his actions targeted both parties because “they were in charge.”
🎯 IMPACT: Cole remains in pre-trial detention after a judge ruled he poses a significant danger to the community, rejecting defense proposals for monitored release. The fresh charges add new dimensions to an already high-profile case, signaling the continued prioritization of such investigations by federal authorities.
📺 FLASHBACK: The pipe bomb investigation remained unsolved for years, with President Donald J. Trump making it a priority after his return to office. FBI Director Kash Patel stressed that Cole was snared not because of any new, compelling evidence emerging, but rather after a thorough reexamination of the existing evidence. He branded the former Biden regime “negligent” and “incompetent” for failing to identify a suspect.

James Talarico Reports $27 Million Fundraising Haul.

Texas Senate candidate James Talarico has announced a record-setting fundraising haul, as the Democrats push to challenge Republican dominance in the Lone Star State.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Democrat Texas Senate candidate James Talarico announced a first-quarter fundraising total of over $27 million, marking one of the largest hauls reported by a U.S. Senate candidate this cycle. His campaign also reported raising $10 million since his March 3 primary victory over U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX).
📺 DETAIL: The Talarico campaign claims that the majority of donations come from small-dollar contributors. Notably, Talarico’s fundraising significantly outpaces that of his potential Republican opponents, positioning him as a serious contender in what is expected to be a costly and competitive race in Texas. Campaign officials say the funds will be used to expand outreach and build statewide visibility in expensive media markets. However, high fundraising totals do not guarantee victory in a historically Republican-leaning state like Texas, and Talarico has been facing challenges over resurfaced clips in recent weeks, including one in which he states he “loves” trans children.
🎯 IMPACT: Talarico’s fundraising success highlights Democrat efforts to flip seats in Texas, generally a reliably Republican state. The seat he is contesting is set to be a critical battleground in the 2024 Senate fight, where he will face either Senator John Cornyn or Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is challenging the incumbent in a Republican primary runoff. Currently, polling suggests that Paxton, a longtime America First conservative, will defeat Cornyn, a Republican-in-name-only with a long history of backstabbing President Donald J. Trump.
📈 DATA: Talarico’s $27 million far exceeds the $6.8 million Beto O’Rourke had raised in the same period during his 2018 campaign.

FIFA Says Iran WILL Be At World Cup in U.S.

FIFA claims that Iran will appear at the soccer World Cup, where its team is scheduled to play in several U.S. cities.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: FIFA President Gianni Infantino claims that Iran will compete in the 2026 soccer World Cup, arguing that sports should transcend politics. Iran has qualified for the tournament, set to be hosted in North America, but its participation has been uncertain due to its war with the U.S. and previous statements by Iranian officials opposing the team’s attendance.
📺 DETAIL:  The conflict involving Iran, the U.S., and Israel had raised doubts about the team’s ability to travel and compete. Infantino emphasized that there is no backup plan and that FIFA is committed to ensuring Iran’s participation at the tournament, which will be co-hosted by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. FIFA has been working to support the team’s preparations and logistics despite the geopolitical situation. Concerns have included player safety, visa issues, and the possibility of relocating matches. Some Iranian officials previously suggested the team might not participate due to security concerns.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “They should play—sports should be outside of politics.” – FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
🎯 IMPACT: Iran pulling out of the World Cup would not be without precedent, as rival countries have refused to participate in other sporting tournaments, like the Olympics, in previous years. When the Olympics were held in the Soviet Union in 1980, the United States declined to participate, and when they were held in the United States in 1984, the Soviet Union declined to participate.

FTC Launches ‘Made in USA’ Enforcement to Shield Consumers, Support Domestic Businesses.

The Federal Trade Commission has taken enforcement action against three companies for falsely advertising their products as “Made in the USA.”

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced enforcement actions against three companies—TouchTunes Music Company, Americana Liberty LLC, and Oak Street Manufacturing Company—for falsely advertising their products as “Made in the USA,” alleging that some products were merely assembled in the United States using imported components.
📺 DETAIL: Each company was found to have violated FTC rules by advertising products as “Made in the USA” despite using significant foreign components or manufacturing processes. For example, TouchTunes falsely claimed its electronic dartboards were U.S.-made, even though key parts essential to the product’s function were imported from overseas. Americana Liberty falsely labeled flags and related products as American-made, while Oak Street misrepresented its footwear as entirely U.S.-crafted, even though components and assembly were outsourced to foreign factories. Such schemes have been observed elsewhere, with some Italian luxury brands caught importing goods and simply attaching a single component, such as a bag handle, to claim they are “Made in Italy.”
🎯 IMPACT: These enforcement actions include financial penalties—$625,000 for TouchTunes, $167,743 for Americana Liberty, and $75,000 for Oak Street—and require the companies to cease their misleading advertising practices. The FTC emphasized its commitment to protecting consumers and ensuring fair competition for businesses that genuinely invest in American manufacturing.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The FTC is committed to ensuring that ‘Made in the USA’ claims are truthful and trustworthy.” – Christopher Mufarrige, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection.
📺 FLASHBACK: These actions follow a March Executive Order by President Donald J.Trump aimed at ensuring truthful advertising of “Made in the USA” claims, as well as prior FTC warnings to the companies involved.

Another Noncitizen Faces Charges for Voting Illegally.

A non-citizen in Minnesota is facing felony charges for voting illegally, as Republicans push for stronger voter ID laws to address election integrity issues.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Mukeshkumar Somabhai Chaudhari, a 39-year-old non-citizen, has been charged with perjury and a voting violation after allegedly registering to vote and casting a ballot in the 2024 election in Minnesota. Authorities report that Chaudhari initially denied voting but later admitted to it, claiming he “made a mistake” and was unaware of the prohibition against non-citizens voting until he was informed of it during his green card process.
📺 DETAIL: Investigators believe Chaudhari’s voter registration was triggered when he obtained a Minnesota driver’s license. The Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office notes that penalties for illegal voting can include deportation, a permanent bar on citizenship, fines, and prison time. The case has reignited Republican calls for stricter voter ID laws, such as the SAVE Act, noting that policies in Democrat-led Minnesota, such as issuing driver’s licenses to non-citizens and mass-mailing voter registration cards, undermine election integrity.
🎯 IMPACT: Critics of Minnesota’s election policies cite this case as evidence of the need for stronger safeguards, but Democrats, who have consistently opposed the SAVE Act despite large majorities in favor among voters across ethnic groups and both major political parties, claim that voter fraud is exceedingly rare and oppose such measures. Notably, research indicates that it is overwhelmingly the Democrats who benefit when non-citizens vote illegally.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “That thing that never ever happens happened again.” – Bill Glahn, Center of the American Experiment policy fellow
📺 FLASHBACK: Research published in the peer-reviewed Electoral Studies journal in 2014 estimated that 6.4 percent of noncitizens voted illegally in 2008, trending towards the Democrats and “likely g[iving] Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress.”

‘Conservative’ Leader Dances on Viktor Orban’s Political Grave. Here’s Why…

Kemi Badenoch, leader of Britain’s formerly governing Conservative Party, views Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s election loss as positive evidence of the waning influence of populism on the political right.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s defeat has been welcomed by Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke (Kemi) Badenoch, leader of Britain’s notionally center-right Conservative Party, as evidence that the influence of populism is waning on the political right. Notably, during the Conservatives’ tenure from 2010 to 2024, Orban was often the only European leader to take Britain’s side in disputes with the European Union (EU).
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Conservatism is being challenged more by the right now, the economic nationalists, the populists, but I don’t think that it’s going to be long-lasting,” Badenoch told Mathias Döpfner, CEO of POLITICO owners Axel Springer.
📰 DETAIL:The Conservatives suffered their worst-ever election result under former Prime Minister Rishi Sunakin 2024, after 14 years in office, allowing Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour Party to secure a large parliamentary majority despite a historically low share of the vote. Contrary to Badenoch’s suggestion that the populist right is now waning, under her leadership, the Conservatives remain deeply unpopular, with Nigel Farage’s Reform Party leading them by a substantial margin.
🎯 IMPACT: While Orbán’s defeat was cheered by globalists, his successor, Péter Magyar, comes from the same populist tradition. A member of Orbán’s Fidesz party until 2024, he emphasized good relations with the European Union (EU) and support for Ukraine more than the outgoing premier, but on immigration and natalism, he ran to Orbán’s right, pledging to eliminate non-EU guest worker programs and increase support for families having children. Similarly, Badenoch’s Conservatives—while far to the left of Fidesz—are being displaced on the British right by Reform due to the Conservatives’ record of facilitating mass migration and promoting net-zero climate ideology.

Europe Scrambles To Build ‘Plan B’ NATO.

European nations are advancing a plan to bolster NATO’s defense capabilities independently, amid fears of a potential U.S. withdrawal under President Donald J. Trump.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: European countries are developing a contingency plan to maintain NATO’s defense capabilities without U.S. involvement should President Donald J. Trump withdraw American forces from Europe following the alliance’s lack of support for the U.S. during the war in Iran. Several European countries, including Britain, Spain, and Italy, obstructed the use of bases on their territory to assist operations against Iran, angering President Donald J. Trump.
📰 DETAIL:  The emerging European NATO” concept focuses on shifting leadership, boosting defense spending, and strengthening military capabilities to reduce reliance on the U.S., especially against potential threats like Russia. Germany is playing a key role in this shift, abandoning its long-standing reluctance to expand its military role. The effort includes increasing arms production, improving logistics and intelligence systems, and reconsidering policies like conscription in some countries.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The basic message to our American friends is that after all these decades it’s time for Europe to take more responsibility for its own security and defense.” – Finnish President Alexander Stubb
💬 SECONDARY QUOTE:NATO must become more European in order to remain trans-Atlantic.” – German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
🎯 IMPACT: The plan comes after years of tensions over European NATO members’ refusal to spend as much as they agreed to on defense, NATO members’ refusal to allow the U.S. to use various air bases in its conflict with Iran, and Trump’s ambitions for Greenland. It could, in theory, make Europe less reliant on U.S. military might, but it is unclear whether European countries currently have the industrial capacity to rival the U.S. or Russia’s military output, even with substantially increased spending.

1. Virginia Joins ‘National Popular Vote’ Compact, Which Inches Closer to Effective Abolition of Electoral College.

The dark truths about the National Popular Vote Compact are that: a) It is getting very close to coming into effect and b) It is doing so very quietly, with far-left donor cash.

PULSE POINTS: THE QUIET COUP.
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger signed a bill entering the state into the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which ties the allocation of Virginia’s presidential electoral votes to the national popular vote winner once a sufficient number of states join the agreement.
📺 DETAIL: The compact requires participating states to collectively hold at least 270 electoral votes before taking effect. Currently, 18 states and Washington, D.C., have joined, representing 222 electoral votes. Organizers are gloating about the fact that they only need 48 more electoral votes, claiming significant progress in states like Arizona, Michigan, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
💰 FOLLOW THE MONEY: The National Popular Vote group was founded by gambling pioneer John Koza, a Democrat, in 2006. The group has been funded with Soros money, as well as the far-left Stephen M. 2. Jury Finds Live Nation (Ticketmaster) is Monopoly That Overcharged Consumers.

A federal jury ruled that Live Nation acts as a monopoly, which could lead to significant changes in the concert industry, including potential divestments or a breakup of the company.

PULSE POINTS: MONOPOLISTIC BULLY.
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: A federal jury found Live Nation, the owner of Ticketmaster, guilty of operating as a monopoly in violation of federal and state antitrust laws. The verdict concluded a case in New York brought by 34 states.
📺 DETAIL: The jury’s decision came after four days of deliberations following a seven-week trial. The federal government initially called for a breakup of Live Nation and Ticketmaster. The judge will determine remedies.
🎯 IMPACT: Jurors ruled that Ticketmaster overcharged customers by $1.72 on each ticket. The judge will determine total damages.
💬 KEY QUOTE: Jeffrey Kessler, an attorney for the states, described Live Nation as a “monopolistic bully” during a closing argument, adding, “It is time to hold them accountable.”
👀 SCUTTLEBUTT: Snickers are being heard around Washington, D.C., as lawyer-turned-lobbyist Mike Davis and Kellyanne Conway were supposed to help Live Nation avert such a crisis moment. Davis even took responsibility for ousting J.D. Vance ally and anti-trust chief Gail Slater from the DOJ, in service to American corporates.

3. This Dem MEGA-Donor Says He’s a ‘Libertarian Republican’ After Swalwell Scandal.

Billionaire megadonor cuts off Swalwell, leaves Democratic Party, and seeks to claw back over $1 million in donations following sexual misconduct allegations.

PULSE POINTS: SUGAR DADDY NO MORE.
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Billionaire Stephen Cloobeck has publicly ended his support for Congressman Eric Swalwell and the Democratic Party, revealing he has removed him from his Beverly Hills mansion following allegations of sexual misconduct, including violent rape.
📺 DETAIL: Cloobeck previously supported Swalwell with over $1 million in donations. FEC filings show over $4.1 million in federal contributions since 2000, overwhelmingly to Democratic candidates. His biggest checks include $1 million to a Clinton Super PAC, $500,000 to Senate Majority PAC, and a $39,900 flight to Nice, France for Swalwell.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “MAD? I AM NO LONGER A DEMOCRAT. I’m now a Libertarian Republican because that’s what a blue dog Democrat used to be.” – Stephen Cloobeck
📺 FLASHBACK: Just weeks ago, Cloobeck referred to Swalwell as his “little brother.” A few months prior, the pair appeared on CNN together, wherein Cloobeck called Swalwell “a man of great integrity [and] values.”

4. US, Iran Agree ‘In Principle’ to Extend Ceasefire, AP Reports, as Trump Hails Chinese Co-operation.

The U.S. and Iran have reportedly reached a tentative agreement to extend their ceasefire despite heightened tensions.

PULSE POINTS: CEASEFIRE… FOR NOW.
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The U.S. and Iran have reportedly reached a tentative agreement to extend their ceasefire despite heightened tensions, including a U.S. naval blockade and Iranian threats, according to the Associated Press. President Trump hailed Chinese co-operation in the negotiations.
🎯 IMPACT: The ceasefire extension, if formalized, would provide breathing room for diplomatic efforts. However, significant obstacles remain, including Iran’s nuclear program and the status of the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. naval blockade remains in place pending further negotiations.

5. New Hungarian PM Alleges Matt Schlapp’s CPAC Took Foreign Funds, Calls It a ‘Crime.’

📺 DETAIL: Magyar vowed to audit previous government spending decisions. He added that CPAC would be welcome to return to Hungary if it is self-financed, with Schlapp responding on X that he was “gratified” and would “take him up on that and work with people of Hungary to defend their sovereignty.”
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Mixing party financing with government spending from the state budget is, in my view, a criminal offense.” – Péter Magyar
📺 FLASHBACK: Schlapp received compensation approaching $1 million annually while CPAC’s influence declined. He has also been dogged by allegations of homosexual assaults against young men for years.

6. Ukraine Criminalizes Antisemitism, With Punishment Up to 8 Years in Prison.

Ukraine is introducing criminal penalties for antisemitism, with sentences of up to eight years in prison for offenders.

PULSE POINTS: AZOV AWKWARDNESS.
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law introducing criminal liability for antisemitic acts, amending Article 161 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code.
📺 DETAIL: Penalties range from heavy fines to prison sentences of up to eight years in the most severe cases. The legislation was signed on Holocaust Remembrance Day.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “This is an important and timely step. Ukraine is sending a clear message: hatred, discrimination, and incitement to violence have no place in Ukrainian society and never will.” – Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Azman
🎯 IMPACT: While President Zelensky is Jewish, the Ukrainian military has longstanding issues with Neo-Nazi elements, such as the Azov Brigade. Neo-Nazi military units have been receiving broad leeway, with the former Biden government lifting sanctions against Azov in 2024.

7. Mediaite Suspends Founding Editor Colby Hall Over Fabricated Quotes, Errors.

One of the founding editors at Mediaite has been suspended, following a number of glaring errors, fake quotes, and misattributions found by his colleagues in the liberal-left, establishment media.

PULSE POINTS: FAKE NEWS ABOUT FAKE NEWS.
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Mediaite has faced backlash for a series of errors, including fabricated quotes and misattributed information, leading to the suspension of its founding editor, Colby Hall. A glaring error arose when Mediaite’s newsletter of newsletters (One Sheet) awarded Breaker Media the “newsletter of the day” for a story it hadn’t ever reported.
📺 DETAIL: One Sheet, launched by Mediaite to aggregate media newsletters for $8 a month, has repeatedly included false quotes and misattributions. On multiple occasions, it apparently fabricated statements attributed to outlets like Status and NiemanLab.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “We presented your findings to Colby Hall who insists the errors were purely a result of sloppiness in how he aggregated and categorized information, not from the use of A.I. Regardless, it is completely unacceptable and Colby has been suspended from Mediaite pending further investigation.” – Mediaite’s Joe DePaolo

Vice President J.D. Vance’s anti-fraud task force has suspended 447 hospices and 23 home health agencies in Los Angeles, uncovering over $600 million in suspected fraudulent activity.

PULSE POINTS: $600 MILLION REASONS.
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Vice President J.D. Vance’s anti-fraud task force has suspended 447 hospices and 23 home health agencies in Los Angeles, uncovering over $600 million in suspected fraudulent activity. These suspensions represent a 539 percent increase since April.
📺 DETAIL: The task force’s actions follow earlier efforts to block $259.5 million in Medicaid funds in Minnesota. The Minnesota fraud was exposed in part by citizen journalist Nick Shirley, who has now set his sights on California — prompting California Democrats to move a ‘Stop Nick Shirley Act’ empowering organizations to demand the removal of video evidence of misconduct.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Where there is fraud, the task force will find it. We will not stop until every hard-earned taxpayer dollar goes toward the honest Americans who deserve them.” – Spokesman for Vice President Vance
📺 FLASHBACK: Viral coverage of Minnesota Medicaid fraud led Governor Tim Walz (D) to abandon his bid for a third term.
