Pelosi Saw 65% Return on Stock Portfolio In 2023, Outperforming S&P By 92%.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi well-outperformed the market in terms of her personal investments in 2023. The 83-year- old Democrat from San Francisco realized a 65 percent return on her stock portfolio – the S&P 500 meanwhile only saw a 24 percent overall return in 2023. Pelosi’s market success last year is even more remarkable as in 2022 her portfolio actually took a hit of nearly 20 percent.

Pelosi’s financial disclosures indicate that the questionable use of ‘stock options’ was the primary driver of her portfolio’s turn-around. When using stock options, an investor has the right to buy-or-sell a stock at an agreed upon price at a set date. The two types of options used by investors are ‘puts’ and ‘calls’. A ‘put’ is when an investor essentially makes a bet a given stock’s price will fall. A ‘call’ is when they bet the price will rise.

Options Trading Or Insider Trading?

Stock options are most frequently used by major investment firms and professional traders who can dedicate a great deal of time and resources to find arbitrage opportunities where a ‘put’ or ‘call’ could drastically increase the return for them and their investors. However, the use of options also comes with a great deal of risk, as placing the wrong bet could be financially devastating to the investor or firm.

The increased use of stock options by Members of Congress is especially concerning as most are reasonably assumed to be fairly casual investors without a full time staff dedicated to discovering potential arbitrage opportunities. In 2022 options trading generated about $30 million in returns for Members of Congress, but those returns over quintupled in 2023 to $160 million.

Congressional watchdog groups say the increase in options trading is concerning. Jeff Hauser, founder and director of the Revolving Door Project, told the New York Post in a recent interview: “It’s a sign of quasi-insider trading that’s corrupt and should be banned – it’s either an addiction to risk or a sign of corruption.”

REPORT: Epstein ‘Sex Tapes’ of Clinton, Prince Andrew, & Trump Were ‘Invented’.

Convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein allegedly filmed sex tapes of Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew, according to a new dump of case documents released Monday. The unsubstantiated allegations were made by Epstein victim Sarah Ransome in emails sent to then New York Post writer Maureen Callahan in 2016.

“When my friend had sexual intercourse with [Bill] Clinton, Prince Andrew and Richard Branson, sex tapes were in fact filmed on each separate occasion by Jeffrey,” Ransome wrote at the time.

“Thank God she managed to get footage of the filmed sex tapes, which clearly identified the faces of Clinton, Prince Andrew and Branson having sexual intercourse with her. Frustratingly enough Epstein was not seen in any of the footage but he was clever like that!”

Ransome eventually retracted her claims to Callahan, which included former President Donald Trump, stating her desire to “walk away from this” and citing fears for her family’s safety. In 2019, The New Yorker reported that Ransome admitted to “inventing” the alleged sex tapes.

Ballot Measure to Enshrine Abortion in Florida Constitution Advances.

A proposed amendment aiming to incorporate access to abortion in Florida’s constitution has made significant progress towards inclusion on the November 2024 ballot. Abortion advocates, led by the group Floridians Protecting Freedom, amassed over 910,000 validated signatures of registered voters, surpassing the required 892,000 necessary to advance the measure.

The proposed amendment seeks to outlaw restrictions on abortion before fetal viability, estimated at the 24th week of pregnancy, with exceptions after this period for the patient’s health based on their healthcare provider’s judgment.

Opponents may be able to stop the controversial amendment from advancing, however. The Florida Supreme Court announced on Wednesday its intention to hear a challenge against the initiative by state conservatives. Five of the seven justices were appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis, a staunch abortion opponent. Oral arguments for this case are scheduled to be held on February 7.

Florida abortion advocates will have additional hurdles to overcome, even if their measure eventually makes the ballot. The measure would need the support of 60 percent of voters in November — not a simple majority — to pass. Abortion is currently legal in Florida up to 15 weeks.

‘Our Elections Are NOT Secure’ Warns Ex AG Who Predicted 2020 ‘Steal’.

Former Kansas Attorney General Phillip Kline has warned that America’s elections remain unsecured and subject to manipulation by partisan, private interests. “We have not fixed what we need to fix. Our elections are not secure, they are not inclusive, they are not transparent, and the problems that we had in 2020 will find new expression in new form in 2024, because for some reason America, collectively, is allergic to understanding the truth and initiating common-sense reforms,” Kline warned in an interview.

“[T]he left, beginning after 2000 and Bush v. Gore, started extensive efforts to ‘reform’ American election law, in other words influence it to benefit the left,” he said, explaining how the Democrats have used tools first developed in the Deep South during Reconstruction to treat voters disparately.

“[W]e’ve privatized our elections, that’s the problem,” Kline said, referring to the involvement of the likes of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the 2020 election, through the Center for Tech and Civic Life.

Even before the 2020 election, Kline predicted private interests would distort the 2020 election. His Amistad Project organization brought lawsuits to try and stop Zuckerberg and other leftist plutocrats from pouring grossly disproportionate resources into boosting votes in Democratic areas, arguing this gave an unlawful structural advantage to one party – but judges declined to act.

“We have private resources in election offices, and when that is banned, instead those election offices contract with private parties then, to conduct the election… America’s been kicked out of the counting room, nonprofits and billionaires have been invited in,” he explained.

“[T]he most important thing in the elections [is] transparency, and we do not have transparent elections anymore. Ballots are managed off-site, they’re verified off-site, private companies are involved, and because of that America has less faith in its elections,” he concluded.

Trump Demands Sec Def Lloyd Austin ‘Fired’ After Going ‘Missing for One Week.’

Former President Donald Trump has called for U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin to be “fired immediately for improper professional conduct and dereliction of duty.” Austin was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on the first day of 2024, following severe pain from an unexplained elective procedure. For days, Biden and the White House were not informed that Austin had been hospitalized, with even Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks unaware of her superior’s status when she began assuming some of his duties on Jan 2nd.

“[Austin] has been missing for one week, and nobody, including his boss, Crooked Joe Biden, had a clue as to where he was, or might be,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“He has performed poorly, and should have been dismissed long ago, along with ‘General’ Mark Milley, for many reasons, but in particular the catastrophic surrender in Afghanistan, perhaps the most embarrassing moment in the history of our Country,” he added.

While the public remains in the dark about the nature of Secretary Austin’s condition, Pentagon Press Secretary Major General Pat Ryder now claims he has resumed his professional duties from hospital. Austin is also said to have communicated with President Joe Biden and other senior officials, including Deputy Secretary Hicks and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General CQ Brown, Jr.

No specific discharge date has been provided for Secretary Austin, with Ryder citing privacy reasons for withholding additional information about the exact nature and progress of his condition.

Mehdi Hasan, Who Called Non-Muslims ‘Animals’, Out at MSNBC.

MSNBC anchor Mehdi Hasan has announced his departure from the network. The announcement was made during the final episode of his axed show on Sunday.

It was initially stated that despite his show’s cancelation, Hasan would remain as an analyst and fill-in host at MSNBC. However, Hasan’s airtime was noticeably reduced in the months following the October 7th terror raid on Israel by Hamas.

In the wake of those attacks, Hasan has amplified Hamas propaganda on social media, sharing posts speaking of the “utter desperation of [G]aza [P]alestinians, with many seeing no options for their future but the launch of a suicidal war,” and complaining “the scale of Israeli war crimes in Gaza is likely to exceed anything we have seen before.”

Before moving to the U.S., where he is a naturalized citizen, the British-born Muslim worked for many British broadcasters and leftist new organizations. He also served as an anchor for the Qatari state, which hosts Hamas leaders, on its Al Jazeera network.

Hasan is infamous in Britain for leaked sermons, brought to a wide audience by National Pulse editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam, in which he denounced non-Muslims as “cattle” who “live their lives as animals”.

The recordings were widely known when MSNBC chose to hire him.

EXC DATA: 2/3rds of Americans Say ‘Invasion’ is Accurate Term to Describe Biden’s Border Crisis.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sixty-five percent, or almost a full two thirds of Americans say it is “very accurate” or “somewhat accurate” to describe the Biden-made crisis at the U.S. border as an “invasion” of the United States. The data comes as part of new Rasmussen Reports polling of likely U.S. voters, sponsored by The National Pulse.

Asked, “How accurate is it to describe the current situation with migrants at the border with Mexico as an “invasion” of the United States?” just 31 percent said it was not accurate. The numbers are even more stark when broken down into constituent voting groups.

  • 70 percent of 18-39 year olds described “invasion” as accurate, with just 27 percent in disagreement;
  • 74 percent of Black Americans described “invasion” as accurate, with 60 percent of whites, and 73 percent “other” agreeing;
  • 55 percent of Democrats described “invasion” as accurate, with 80 percent of Republicans, and 60 percent “other” agreeing;
  • Just 27 percent of self-identifying “liberals” described “invasion” as accurate, with 77 percent of conservatives and 60 percent of moderates in agreement.

The news comes after months of border turmoil, heralded by the Biden government’s refusal to police America’s national perimeter. Indeed, between the “pull factors” of Democrat “sanctuary cities”, the federal government’s facilitation of the invasion, and Republican governors shipping migrants around the nation for free, more Americans than ever are concerned about the situation.

Asked, “Is border security a vital national security interest for the United States these days?” 70 percent said yes while 17 percent said no. Asked if the situation was a “crisis,” 72 percent said yes while one in five said no. The poll was conducted Jan 2-4 2024, and surveyed 1,044 U.S. Likely voters.

The Biden White House was not informed for several days that U.S. Defence Secretary, Lloyd Austin, had been hospitalised. Mr. Austin, 70, was admitted to the Walter Reed Medical Center on Monday due to post-surgery complications. At least one official claimed the White House learned about Mr. Austin’s condition only on Thursday morning, sparking concern over a communication breakdown in the top echelon of the U.S. government.

Mr. Austin acknowledged his part in the inadequate communication, stating that he could have ensured better public information sharing. He expressed his determination to improve in this regard, while also underlining the personal nature of his medical situation. “I am very glad to be on the mend and look forward to returning to the Pentagon soon,” Austin said, adding that he resumed his full duties on Friday, as confirmed by a Defence Department spokesperson.

More Far-Left Activists Team Up to Keep Trump Off the Ballot. This Time in Illinois.

A small group of Illinois voters, backed by the the leftist law-fare nonprofit ‘Free Speech for People’, has filed a petition with the state board of elections asking that former President Donald Trump be removed from the Republican primary ballot. The petition claims the former Republican president is barred from office under the ‘insurrection’ clause found in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

Democrat operatives have pushed the ‘insurrection’ clause claim in several states with mixed results. The Colorado Supreme Court recently ruled that Trump is ineligible to run for President, citing Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, however both the Minnesota and Michigan supreme courts threw out similar cases. The United States Supreme Court is widely expected to step in and overturn the Colorado decision.

The Petitioners.

The petitioners include a far-left professor of English & Latin American and Latino Studies to a local Chicago lawyer. One of the petitioners, Prof. Ralph Cintrón of the University of Illinois Chicago, has a long track record of far-left work — especially pertaining to mass immigration. Speaking at Penn State last year, Prof. Cintrón lamented the lack of representation for illegal immigrants in America. Steven Daniel Anderson, Charles J. Holley, Jack L Hickman, and Darryl P. Baker joined Cintrón in signing the petition.

The petitioners are being represented by Chicago civil rights and constitutional law attorney Matthew Piers, president of Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd. Piers is a prolific donor to Democrat candidates across the country. A review of Federal Election Commission records reveals he frequently makes significant contributions to far-left progressives, including Rep. Chuy García (D-IL), former Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX), Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA), Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL). He also donated to the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.

Free Speech for People.

Based in Amherst, Massachusetts, Free Speech for People is a leftist law-fare group founded by John Bonifaz — a long time voting rights activist and political progressive. According to their IRS 990 filings, Free Speech for People had a total revenue of just over $1.5 million in 2021. In 2020, the group’s revenue was double at just over $3 million. According to the left-wing legal advocacy group’s annual reports, its 2021 budget was raised through funds from the Arkay Foundation, Craig Newmark Philanthropies, CREDO, The Fred Gellert Family Foundation, the Gaia Fund, The Kohlberg Foundation, the Lisa and Douglas Goldman Fund, the Park Foundation, Ralph E. Ogden Foundation, the Threshold Foundation, and the WhyNot Initiative.

Top Nikki Haley, E Jean Carroll, & Fusion GPS Backer Was Epstein Island Visitor.

Democrat billionaire Reid Hoffman, who has been funding Nikki Haley’s run for the GOP nomination, has been outed as a visitor to child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, Little St. James – better known as ‘Pedo Island’.

The Democrat mega-donor and LinkedIn founder was reported to be considering funding Ron DeSantis, purely to try and thwart Donald Trump’s nomination, nine months ago. He ultimately decided to back Haley, gifting a quarter-million dollars to the pro-Haley SFA Fund Inc.

The super PAC had been asked if it would accept the money, given Hoffman’s status as an active Biden supporter, prior to the donation, and it confirmed it would.

Hoffman has now been outed for visiting Epstein’s island in 2014 – long after Epstein’s conviction for procuring a girl below age 18 for prostitution – and even arranged to stay at the Manhattan townhouse where the financier abused many of his victims.

Hoffman admitted to The Wall Street Journal that “by lending my association, I helped [Epstein’s] reputation, and thus delayed justice for his survivors”. He claimed his last interaction with the convicted sex offender was in 2015.

Haley is coming under pressure to return Hoffman’s money on social media from users including Congressman Lance Gooden.

Hoffman is also known for having secretly bankrolled E. Jean Carroll’s civil case alleging that Trump raped her in 1995 or 1996.

Carroll initially claimed she had been receiving no outside funding, but was not sanctioned by Bill Clinton-appointed judge Lewis Kaplan when the truth came out. Kaplan also ruled jurors could not be told about Hoffman’s involvement in the case.

Hoffman also “contributed more than $600,000 to the legal defense fund of Bean LLC — otherwise known as Fusion GPS, the company responsible for the creation of the Steele Dossier,” which spread various false accusations of links between Trump and Russia.
