DATA: 9/10 Say Biden ‘Too Old’ for 2nd Term.

Nearly 9 out of 10 Americans — 86 percent — believe that Joe Biden is too old to serve another term as President, according to a recent ABC News/Ipsos poll. Although 59 percent of those polled believed that both Biden and former President Donald Trump are too old to serve as President, more than a quarter — 27 percent — believed that just Biden is too old compared to only 3 percent who felt the same way about Trump.

The poll comes amidst increasing concerns about Biden’s mental state and cognitive abilities following a series of gaffes and a damning report by special counsel Robert Hur regarding the current President’s mishandling of classified documents. Hur, who decided not to prosecute Biden, described him as an “elderly man with a poor memory” and revealed that he could not remember when his son Beau died or when his terms as Vice President began or ended.

Earlier this month, Biden also claimed to have met with French President François Mitterrand of France, who died in 1996, at the G7 Summit. Days later, he claimed to have spoken with German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who died in 2017, at the same summit. Immediately following the release of Hur’s report, Biden confused the Mexican and Egyptian presidents.

Denmark Bans Burkas in Schools to Boost Migrant Integration.

Denmark’s government has announced plans to expand its burka ban to educational institutions, continuing its efforts to address “parallel societies” and integration issues.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The Danish government has unveiled plans to extend its current ban on burkas and niqabs to schools and universities. This proposal builds on Denmark‘s broader campaign to address “parallel societies,” which officials describe as urban areas dominated by non-Western migrants.
📺 DETAIL: Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen‘s government plans to expand Denmark’s 2018 law, which already prohibits burkas and niqabs in public spaces, with legislation expected to be introduced after the Danish parliament reconvenes. The proposal targets communities where authorities say non-Western migrants have become socially isolated, and repeat violations of the existing public-face covering ban can already result in fines of up to $1,570. Denmark has long maintained some of Europe’s toughest immigration and asylum policies, admitting fewer asylum seekers than neighboring countries during the 2015 migration crisis while limiting benefits for unsuccessful applicants. The country also enforces laws that allow the authorities to redevelop neighborhoods with high concentrations of foreign-born residents and, under certain circumstances, to confiscate valuables from asylum seekers to help cover their accommodation costs. The proposed expansion follows recent government plans to examine whether banning the Islamic call to prayer would be legally permissible.
💬 KEY QUOTE:The call to prayer should not be heard over Danish rooftops. It has no place in Denmark, and you shouldn’t be in any doubt whether you’ve ended up in a suburb of Islamabad when you walk around Denmark.” – Morten Bodskov, Social Democrats

Trump Admin Warns States Must Scrub Voter Rolls to Get Federal Grants.

The Department of Homeland Security has warned that states must comply with mandatory election security measures, including voter roll scrubbing, to qualify for federal grants.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced that states must adhere to SAVE America Act measures in order to continue receiving federal grant funding.
📺 DETAIL: On Friday, Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin declared that states must cooperate with the SAVE election integrity program at DHS. The SAVE program involves states partnering with DHS to scrub voter rolls. This follows a speech delivered by President Donald J. Trump on Thursday, ordering DHS to “notify every state about noncitizens on their voter rolls and direct them to remove all ineligible voters from the lists immediately.” Mullin warned that failure to comply would result in suspension of DHS grant funding. Mullin revealed that DHS identified over 250,000 noncitizens registered to vote in just four states (California, Nevada, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania). Mullin emphasized the importance of ensuring only eligible voters are on voter rolls ahead of elections. “We need to make sure that individuals that are legally able to vote are voting,” said Mullin during a press conference.
💬 KEY QUOTE:Election security is national security… Only Americans should be electing American leaders,” posted Markwayne Mullin on X (formerly Twitter).
🎯 IMPACT: The move signals increased pressure from the federal government to ensure states take election integrity seriously. By linking grant funding to security measures, DHS can ensure voter rolls are accurate. This decision could provide an incentive to reduce vulnerabilities and restore public confidence in the democratic process.
📺 FLASHBACK: President Trump delayed the signing of a congressional bill that places explicit restrictions on Wall Street investors buying single-family homes to focus on passing the SAVE America Act. The Act has faced obstruction from Democrats in Congress, despite the fact that Americans overwhelmingly support election integrity measures, such as voter ID. Noncitizens voting in U.S. elections has become a significant problem. For example, back in May, DHS arrested a Canadian national for voting illegally in U.S. elections since 2008.

Trump Threatens Canada With Tariffs Over Wildfire Pollution.

President Trump has criticized Canada for failing to manage its forests, linking wildfire smoke affecting U.S. cities to Canadian negligence, and threatening increased tariffs.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump has threatened to impose additional tariffs on Canada, accusing the country of negligence in managing its forests and allowing wildfire smoke to blanket U.S. cities. Trump made the comments on Truth Social, citing the smoke as “filthy, polluted, and unhealthy air” that is affecting millions of Americans.
📍 WHEN & WHERE: The smoke, originating from wildfires in Ontario, Canada, has affected air quality across over a dozen U.S. states and Washington, D.C.
📺 DETAIL: Smoke from the Ontario wildfires blanketed cities including Washington, D.C., New York City, Chicago, and Detroit, while the National Weather Service issued air quality alerts across at least 16 states. The Environmental Protection Agency classified air quality as hazardous in parts of the Upper Midwest, warning that fine particulate pollution poses serious health risks, particularly for people with heart and lung conditions. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said thousands of Canadians have been displaced or otherwise affected by the ongoing wildfires, which continue to burn across several regions. The latest dispute threatens to further strain U.S.-Canada relations, which have already been tested by trade disagreements. Significantly, the smoke contains dangerous PM2.5 particles and chemicals such as benzene and formaldehyde, which can increase the risk of respiratory illness, heart problems, and other serious health effects. Michigan has experienced some of the worst air quality from the smoke, with forecasters saying conditions reached the state’s worst levels since modern recordkeeping began in the early 2000s.
💬 KEY QUOTE:We are holding Canada responsible for the fact that they are not properly maintaining their forests and brush.” – President Trump
📺 FLASHBACK: This marks the fourth consecutive year of record wildfires in Canada, which Trump and his allies argue demonstrates a failure of liberal governance and environmental policy.

ICE Arrests Hit Record Average of 1,400 a Day This Month.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) daily arrests reached record levels in July, despite ongoing attempts by the left to curb their activities.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have reached an average of more than 1,400 arrests per day, according to agency data.
📺 DETAIL: On Friday, it was revealed that ICE achieved President Donald J. Trump’s target of 2,000 arrests per day across several days in July. Throughout the first 12 days of July, ICE averaged 1,433 arrests. This surge follows a period of reduced operations earlier this year after backlash over high-profile shootings involving ICE agents and pro-illegal immigrant agitators. This also follows the 39,500 arrests made by ICE during June, which broke previous records for the administration, amounting to 1,319 arrests per day. President Trump aims to deport one million illegal immigrants per year, equivalent to approximately 2,800 arrests a day. The data from ICE was first revealed to The Washington Post. Daily arrests have increased despite fatal shootings of migrants accused of weaponizing their vehicles in Biddeford, Maine, and Houston, Texas, in recent days.
🎯 IMPACT: If the arrest rate continues, ICE will make more than 44,000 arrests by the end of the month. The record-breaking arrest numbers highlight the administration’s reintensified immigration enforcement. This data represents an increase from the 1,164 arrests per day in January, 1,025 daily arrests in February, and 954 daily arrests in March, the lowest point of the year. This dip in arrests coincided with the fatal shootings in Minneapolis of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. In March, the President fired Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security and replaced her with Markwayne Mullin. The sustained increase in daily arrests also coincides with President Trump’s defense and subsequent reinstatement of traffic stops. “We CANNOT give up one of ICE’s most important and effective Crime fighting tools, THE TRAFFIC STOP,” posted the President on Truth Social earlier this week.

Farage Challenges Incoming UK PM Burnham to Call Immediate General Election.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has called for an immediate general election, arguing that new Labour Party leader and incoming British Prime Minister Andy Burnham lacks a mandate to govern the country.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform UK party, has called for a general election following Andy Burnham’s confirmation as leader of the governing Labour Party.
📺 DETAIL: On Friday, Andy Burnham, the Labour Member of Parliament (MP) for Makerfield, was officially declared leader of the governing Labour Party. This followed a leadership process in which Burnham ran for the leadership uncontested. This was despite the fact that the British public wanted a contest to hold the incoming Prime Minister to account. Burnham will officially become Prime Minister on Monday. Following his confirmation as leader, Burnham delivered a speech signaling that the Labour government would move much further to the left. In response, Farage criticized Burnham for lacking a mandate to serve as Prime Minister, noting that his leadership stems from internal party mechanisms and the Makerfield by-election (special election) rather than a general election. “He says he wants to have the biggest change of direction in politics in 40 years, [but] outside of 25,000 voters in Makerfield he has literally no mandate for this at all,” said Farage at an event in London. It has been noted before that Burnham was neither leader of the Labour Party nor a parliamentary candidate at the last general election, when Labour reclaimed a parliamentary majority for the first time in 14 years. Farage expressed skepticism about Burnham’s ability to address key issues, such as the cost of living and the country’s border crisis. The Reform leader warned that a Burnham premiership would lead to tax hikes and lax immigration policies. Farage concluded by predicting that Britain risks “turning into a third world country” over the next ten years and called for “an immediate general election.”
💬 KEY QUOTE: “I believe the British people have simply had enough of weak, gutless, spineless leadership that cares more about opinion in the international community than it cares about the collective good of the people living in this country.” – Nigel Farage.
🎯 IMPACT: The Labour government is technically not obligated to hold an election until August 15, 2029, although unlike in the U.S., it has broad discretion to call one early. Reform has made significant gains since it swept the local elections back in May, which returned a catastrophic result for the governing Labour Party. This led to the resignation of outgoing Labour Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and the Makerfield parliamentary by-election (special election), which allowed Burnham, formerly Mayor of Greater Manchester, to return to Parliament and replace him. If a general election is called, Reform are expected to make similarly remarkable gains, as support for the two main parties, namely Labour and the formerly governing Conservatives, continues to collapse.

Farage’s Reform Party Secures First-of-a-Kind Election Victory.

Colin Sutton, a former detective for London’s Metropolitan Police, has been elected as Norfolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner, marking a significant milestone for Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party has won its first Police and Crime Commissioner election.
📺 DETAIL: On Thursday, Norfolk, a county in East England, held a Police and Crime Commissioner by-election (special election). Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) are directly elected officials in England and Wales responsible for overseeing local police forces. On Friday, Reform’s Colin Sutton, a former detective, emerged victorious, becoming Reform’s first elected PCC. Sutton secured 32,647 votes, constituting approximately 27 percent of the vote, and won a majority of 14,299 over the Conservatives, who secured second with 18,348 votes. The marks a 19 percent decrease in the party’s share of the vote. Similarly, the Labour Party plummeted to fifth place after losing roughly 24 percent of their vote share compared to the last election. The candidate for Rupert Lowe‘s Restore Britain party came sixth with 13,319 votes, less than half of the votes secured by Reform.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “I’m overjoyed. Policing has been my life and it is the best job. I believe I can make a difference and make things better,” said Sutton after his victory.
🎯 IMPACT: Sutton’s victory represents a significant milestone for Reform, which now holds its first PCC position through an election rather than party-switching. However, due to plans to create a directly elected mayor for Norfolk, who will take over the PCC’s powers, Sutton’s ability to impact local policing may be limited. Nevertheless, the results reflect a continuing trend of British voters abandoning the two main establishment parties in the United Kingdom, namely Labour and the Conservatives, and shifting towards Nigel Farage and Reform. The comfortable victory for Reform also shows the limited impact of Restore Britain, an Elon Musk-backed splinter faction of Reform, despite its ongoing attempts to supplant Reform as the main anti-establishment party on the right. Sutton’s victory also represents a continuing trend of Reform winning local by-elections since the local elections back in May.

Trump Drops BBC Studios From Defamation Lawsuit.

President Donald J. Trump has dropped BBC Studios from a defamation lawsuit against the British public broadcaster, but continues to pursue claims against the BBC over the deceptive editing of a 2024 Panorama episode.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump has removed BBC Studios from his defamation lawsuit against Britain’s state-backed public broadcaster, but is continuing a $10 billion claim against the BBC over a 2024 Panorama episode. The lawsuit alleges that the program “intentionally, maliciously, and deceptively” edited a Trump speech to misrepresent his remarks about the January 6, 2021, Capitol protests, splicing together remarks made roughly an hour apart to make it look as though he was inciting violence.
📺 DETAIL: Court records related to the lawsuit, filed in Florida, confirm the BBC Studios entities were dismissed from the proceedings after arguing they played no role in producing or distributing the program in the United States. The BBC has acknowledged a supposed editing “error” that created the mistaken impression that Trump directly called for violent action, but maintains the documentary does not meet the legal standard for defamation and was not distributed on its U.S. platforms. Trump’s legal team argues the case should be decided by a jury, noting that the BBC’s geo-blocking measures did not effectively prevent American viewers from accessing the program and that the broadcaster actively promoted it to U.S. audiences. The President’s lawyers also contend that BBC staff provided instructions on how viewers in the United States could watch the documentary despite regional restrictions. The U.S. government has indicated it is considering participating in the litigation after the BBC sought information from several federal agencies through subpoenas. If the case proceeds, a trial will be scheduled for February 2027.
🎯 IMPACT: The case sparked significant controversy, as the BBC is required to be impartial. While it is widely acknowledged that left-wing bias at the broadcaster is endemic regardless, the doctoring of Trump’s speech was so egregious that it led to the resignations of key BBC figures such as Director General Tim Davie and Head of News Deborah Turness.

Migrant Mother of Henry Nowak’s Killer Sentenced for Hiding Murder Weapon.

Kiran Kaur, the Indian mother of Henry Nowak’s murderer, Vickrum Digwa, has been sentenced to three years in prison for removing the murder weapon from the scene.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Kiran Kaur, 53, was sentenced to three years in prison at Southampton Crown Court for assisting her son, Vickrum Digwa, after he murdered white student Henry Nowak. Kaur removed the murder weapon, a Sikh religious dagger, from the scene, contributing to the delay in justice for the victim’s family.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “A responsible parent would have challenged their son over their actions and encouraged them to do the right thing. Instead, you took the knife home and put it with other weapons in your son’s bedroom.” – Judge William Mousley KC
📺 DETAIL: Sentencing Kaur at Southampton Crown Court, Judge William Mousley KC said Henry Nowak was a “much-loved young man” and told her that, instead of encouraging her son to take responsibility, she removed the murder weapon and reinforced his false claim that he had done nothing wrong. The large dagger was later recovered from the family home and confirmed by police to be the murder weapon. Prosecutors said Kaur’s actions obstructed the investigation, accusing her of creating “a wall of lies” by failing to disclose what she had done, while the defense argued she acted instinctively after believing her son had been attacked and never attempted to destroy or conceal the knife permanently. Digwa, who was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of just 21 years for Nowak’s murder, was carrying the dagger when he fatally stabbed the teenager as he walked home from a football gathering with friends. In a statement, Nowak’s family said they were disappointed with Kaur’s sentence and vowed to continue campaigning for justice, while pressing for further investigations into the circumstances surrounding their son’s death. Notably, responding police officers roughly arrested Nowak instead of helping him when he reported he had been stabbed, because Digwa and his family falsely accused him of racism. He passed out and died shortly after being handcuffed.

Labour Sending Over $200 Million in Aid to Pakistan as It Refuses to Take Back Rape Gang Ringleader.

The British government intends to send aid worth hundreds of millions of dollars to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, despite its refusal to take back Shabir Ahmed, a Pakistan-born grooming gang ringleader.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The British government has approved a £153 million (~$205 million) aid package for Pakistan, despite the Islamic Republic’s refusal to take back Shabir Ahmed, the Pakistan-born ringleader of the Rochdale grooming gang.
📺 DETAIL: The aid package will be sent over the next three years. The government intends to send the package despite the fact that the Pakistani government has refused to take back Ahmed, who was released from prison earlier this month after serving just 14 years of a 22-year sentence. Ahmed was found guilty of 30 child rape offenses, with some of his victims being as young as 12 years old. The decision to continue sending aid to the Islamic Republic was revealed on Thursday. The British government has since defended the decision as necessary to promote security and resilience in Pakistan. The funding will be distributed through charities and non-government organizations (NGOs). Sending British taxpayers’ money to Pakistan was already controversial, considering the country is wealthy enough to fund a nuclear weapons program.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Reform will stop foreign aid and visas issued to Pakistan immediately,” said Zia Yusuf, Reform UK’s Home Secretary.
🎯 IMPACT: The decision has sparked outrage, with many arguing that continuing to provide aid to Pakistan undermines efforts to deport Ahmed. Reform UK, led by Nigel Farage, has called for a pause on all aid to Pakistan as well as visas for Pakistan nationals until the country takes back Ahmed and those convicted of similar crimes. Pakistani foreign affairs spokesman Tahir Andrabi has blamed Britain for Ahmed’s pedophilia, saying, “Regardless of where he was born, the onus lies on where he grew up, was raised, groomed, and unfortunately spoiled,” ignoring the fact that Ahmed’s parents were immigrants from Pakistan.

Trump Reinstates ICE Vehicle Stops.

President Trump has reinstated ICE vehicle stops, citing their importance in safe and effective immigration enforcement, despite ongoing criticism.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Following a temporary pause on vehicle stops after two officer-involved shootings, President Donald J. Trump has reversed the guidance, reinstating the use of traffic stops as a critical tool for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportation operations.
📺 DETAIL: A federal ICE special agent, speaking anonymously, told the media that vehicle stops are a routine part of deportation operations because they are often safer than home or street arrests, provide more time to identify targets, and reduce the likelihood of “collateral” arrests involving individuals who were not the intended subjects of enforcement actions. The agent said removing vehicle stops would make it more difficult to apprehend suspects and could increase the risk of dangerous pursuits if targets flee. President Trump urged ICE officers to be “judicious, fair, and smart” while resuming traffic stops, and the anonymous agent said the decision boosted morale within the agency. The agent added that ICE is expanding training on vehicle stop procedures and responses to dangerous situations, saying additional instruction would improve safety for officers, suspects, and the public.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “We CANNOT give up one of ICE’s most important and effective Crime fighting tools, THE TRAFFIC STOP!” – President Donald J. Trump
🎯 IMPACT: The reinstatement of vehicle stops is seen as a morale boost for ICE agents, who rely on them to safely and effectively apprehend many migrants.
