President Trump drew a line under the question of his second term being a “revenge” administration, stating unequivocally, “My revenge will be success,” during a Fox News town hall in South Carolina on Tuesday night.
Asked by an audience member what he says to independents and moderates who like his policies but fear a retribution-obsessed president, Trump laid out his victories during his first four years in office, before delivering the important line which will doubtless underscore his campaign’s response to similar inquiries throughout the campaign.
The line drew massive applause from the audience, with President Trump going on to take further questions and stating that he would like to start debating Joe Biden “starting now.”
