A Biden-Harris regime nuclear official hired only this year has a “queering nuclear weapons” agenda. Sneha Nair, appointed as a special assistant at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) by the Biden-Harris regime in February, wants to apply far-left gender and sexual ideology to nuclear weapons, rather than focus on national security.
Nair links “queer theory” to nuclear disarmament. She asserts that queer theory can reshape perceptions of nuclear weapons, traditionally used as security tools. According to Nair, queer theory highlights the harm caused by nuclear weapons through displacement, illness, and trauma, challenging the view that nuclear deterrence improves security.
She has also criticized existing security clearance processes, suggesting they unfairly discourage qualified applicants with foreign ties due to racial biases. Nair, formerly with the Stimson Institute, is a proponent of integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into nuclear security. She argues that DEI is crucial not only for improving workplace culture but also for national security.
Nair herself has connections to organizations funded by George Soros‘s Open Society Foundations and the Embassy of Qatar.
Nair’s appointment comes after the firing of Office of Nuclear Energy official Sam Brinton, a “non-binary” drag queen. Brinton was arrested last year after stealing the luggage of various women at different airports across the country in order to wear their clothing.
