Democrats In Total Chaos As It Remains Unclear If Biden Will Stay Or Will He Go?

The Democrats and their corporate media allies have descended into a state of total confusion as a flood of conflicting reports surfaced throughout this week regarding whether Joe Biden would remain the Democratic Party’s 2024 presidential nominee. In what appears to be an attempt at manufacturing consent, national Democratic leaders have floated rumors that Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race is imminent.

DEM LEADERS DUMP BIDEN.

Earlier this week, a series of stories in outlets like the New York Times, The Washington Post, and POLITICO revealed that powerful Democrats, including former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA), were calling on Biden to step aside as the nominee.

Schiff’s move against Biden was publicly confirmed by the Congressman himself. Meanwhile, Pelosi did not deny that she is actively seeking to push Biden out of the race. Schumer, however, denied the claim that he told Biden he needed to drop his re-election bid this past weekend.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies and powerful progressive Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) were revealed on Thursday to have also pressured Biden to drop out over the last several weeks.

OBAMA DASHES BIDEN’S HOPES.

The news that some of the most influential Democrats on Capitol Hill had abandoned Biden resulted in a fury of follow-up stories claiming that the 81-year-old Democrat would be ending his campaign. However, these reports were almost entirely sourced to the same Democrat leaders actively working against Biden—and not the Biden campaign itself.

Speculation hit a fever pitch Thursday afternoon when The Washington Post reported that former President Barack Obama was telling allies that Biden needed to step aside as polling shows his former vice president cannot defeat Trump in November. Subsequently, Mark Halperin at Newsmax cited sources saying Biden would likely drop his presidential bid this Sunday.

BIDEN CAMPAIGN STRIKES BACK.

Despite the flood of reports, Biden campaign spokesmen T.J. Ducklo and Andrew Bates have responded to the slew of stories, declaring them “fan fiction,” “[b]aseless conjecture,” and “[i]correct.”

Meanwhile, NBC News‘s Mike Memoli reported sources within the Biden campaign were taking shots at Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, and Hillary Clinton.

“Can we all just remember for a minute that these same people who are trying to push Joe Biden out are the same people who literally gave us all Donald Trump? In 2015, Obama, Pelosi, Schumer pushed Biden aside in favor of Hillary; they were wrong then, and they are wrong now,” the anonymous Biden campaign source said.

They added: “How did all this work out for everyone in 2016? Perhaps we should learn a few lessons from 2016; one of them is polls are BS, just ask Sec. Clinton. And two, maybe, just maybe, Joe Biden is more in touch with actual Americans than Obama-Pelosi-Schumer?”

Manriquez, a Chilean-born pro-migration advocate, shared that sources informed him of planned ICE checks at Subway restaurants and among Door Dash and Uber Eats drivers, among others, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

This information leak has drawn criticism from Tricia McLaughlin, spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), ICE’s parent agency. McLaughlin expressed concern over the potential danger posed to law enforcement, stating, “It is sickening that this ‘reporter’ is putting law enforcement lives at risk and doing the bidding of violent criminal aliens and gang members.”

Manriquez elaborated on the planned operations, indicating that ICE agents would conduct I-9 employment eligibility document inspections and position officers at the back of restaurants to intercept those attempting to flee. He also mentioned that bilingual public charter schools, including the Mundo Verde public charter school system, would be targeted.

In response to the anticipated raids, Manriquez urged migrants to be aware of their rights and advised them to contact the Amica Center for Immigrant Rights if detained. He encouraged sharing the information widely and announced that further updates would be available on MigrantInsider.com.

Manriquez, who describes himself as an immigrant outsider, has previously written in support of figures like the late Democratic Rep. Raul Grijalva, whom he praised as a “voice of migrants, workers, Tribes, Latinos.” However, his recent actions have aligned him with insider elites, including corporate lawyers at Acacia, who offer legal aid to migrants.

This is not the first time illegals have been alerted to ICE raids and operations before they occur. In California, ICE planned an operation targeting known gang members and criminals in Los Angeles, but plans were leaked ahead of time. Border Czar Tom Homan blamed Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) personnel, who were also involved in the operation, and noted in February that a criminal investigation had been launched.

Addressing President Trump’s decision to pardon—and in some instances commute the sentences of—the January 6 defendants, Pence told Collins: “I was deeply disappointed, it sent the wrong message.”

Meanwhile, while discussing the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Pence insisted that Russian President Vladimir Putin will not rest until all of Ukraine belongs to Russia. Notably, most experts on the region, while acknowledging Russian aims in Eastern Ukraine, are fairly emphatic that Russia would not be able to control or even desire control over Western Ukraine.

Lastly, the former Vice President continued to lament the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services, citing the Kennedy clan scion’s abortion stance. However, Kennedy, in his confirmation, made certain guarantees not to allow his personal beliefs to interfere with his public duties. Pro-Hamas demonstrators, believed to be affiliated with Antifa, took over and occupied a brand new engineering building on the University of Washington campus, building barricades, setting fires, and throwing projectiles at police. The violent display came as far-left groups gathered to protest against Boeing‘s funding of the university and its business arrangements with Israel.

Over two dozen pro-Hamas and Antifa demonstrators were ultimately arrested, with some reports putting the number of arrests as high as 32. The violent campus action was organized by Students United for Palestinian Equality and Return UW (SUPER UW).

“We’re hoping to remove the influence of Boeing and other manufacturing companies from our educational space, period, and we’re hoping to expose the repressive tactics of the university,” Super UW spokesman Eric Horford said in an interview with local media. He added: “We are here to negotiate with the university, and we are hoping they’ll hear us and speak with us.”

Notably, the faction of SUPER UW students appears to have been primarily responsible for the occupation of the engineering building. In contrast, a second faction of individuals clad in black bloc attire and alleged to be affiliated with Antifa were responsible for the fire and the construction of barricades. At one point, a fire that had been set came dangerously close to the campus building.

Following the arrests, police say the demonstrators have been charged with criminal trespass in the first degree—a gross misdemeanor. None of those arrested have been charged with a felony.

The United States and the United Kingdom are set to sign a bilateral trade deal this week, marking significant progress in President Donald J. It is believed the deal is one of 17 being prioritized out of over 100 negotiations and will increase pressure on the European Union (EU) to reach an agreement as well.

Among the concessions being made by the British are reductions in their digital services tax aimed at multinational technology companies based in the United States. The Labour government, under Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, is also believed to be poised to cut its tariffs on American automobiles and steel imports and reduce trade duties on American agricultural goods.

Conversely, the United States—it is believed—has agreed to reduce its 25 percent tariff on British autos and steel, though the exact scale of the reduction is not yet public. However, the British government also says it will not adopt U.S. food production standards, meaning some U.S. agricultural exports, including hormone-treated beef and chicken, will still not be accepted in the British market.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent testified before Congress on Tuesday that the trade deal could be announced “perhaps as early as this week.” However, it is important to note that agreements over the pharmaceutical trade remain a contentious sticking point and could delay a final deal. A Virginia court has cleared former Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) finance director Ryan McGowan of allegations he improperly paid $14,000 in unused vacation time to five departing staffers, delivering a sharp rebuke to the Matt Schlapp-led outfit. The decision, handed down in Alexandria Circuit Court, highlights internal dysfunction at CPAC, which has also been rocked by homosexual scandals involving Schlapp for years.

Judge Kathleen Uston, in a 30-minute evidence review, pointed to glaring contradictions in the testimony of CPAC executive Lynne Rasmussen and former general counsel David Safavian.

Rasmussen claimed she emailed staff about a paid time off (PTO) limit but failed to produce the emails, and a text exchange showed her asking McGowan’s deputy for a 15 percent salary increase while keeping McGowan in the dark—contradicting her testimony that the deputy lacked such authority. The judge also noted the frustration of the Alexandria detective investigating the case, who was blindsided by details Rasmussen withheld.

The case, long followed by The National Pulse, was more to do with Schlapp pursuing a vendetta at those he perceived to undermine his leadership than any actual wrongdoing.

McGowan’s new conservative group, which grades lawmakers, has also drawn CPAC’s ire, though a civil suit against them was dismissed earlier this year.

Testimony also revealed McGowan had flagged a $50,000 legal bill CPAC paid for Schlapp during the scandal, reigniting scrutiny of Schlapp’s leadership.

CPAC and its parent organization, the American Conservative Union (ACU), has now shelled out vast swathes of donor cash, staff time, and attracted mountains of negative publicity as a result of Schlapp’s numerous escapades.

German ‘Conservative’ Merz Becomes Chancellor After Historic Initial Failure.

Friedrich Merz, the leader of Germany‘s notionally conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU)—formerly led by Angela Merkel—did not secure enough votes in the Bundestag to become Chancellor in an initial ballot. This marks the first time since World War II that a candidate for Chancellor has failed to win on the initial ballot in the German legislature.

Merz required a majority of 316 votes to succeed but fell short by six votes, obtaining only 310 out of 630. His coalition, which includes the CDU, its Bavarian sister party the Christian Social Union (CSU), and the leftist Social Democrats, holds a slim majority with 328 seats. The secret ballot nature of the vote means it is unclear who within his coalition did not support him, although he managed to push through with 325 votes on his second attempt.

If Merz had not managed to secure a majority within 14 days, the German president, who generally plays a largely ceremonial head of state role in national politics, could have been forced to intervene and either appoint the candidate with the most votes as Chancellor or dissolve parliament, prompting a new national election.

Johann Wadepuhl, set to become Merz’s foreign minister, said of Merz’s initial failure, “It is an annoying process, but in a parliamentary democracy, in a liberal country, this is unfortunately one of the scenarios that you have to be prepared for.”

Meanwhile, Alice Weidel, co-leader of the largest opposition group, Alternative for Germany (AfD), criticized Merz’s coalition—roughly equivalent to a Republican-Democrat alliance—calling it a “weak foundation.” She has urged for Merz’s resignation and the initiation of new elections.

The vote comes less than a week after the German domestic intelligence service declared the AfD a right-wing extremist organization, allowing surveillance measures directed at all party members and the use of informants. The move was met with significant criticism from the Trump administration.
