Political ‘Party of Islam’ Registered in UK 6 Days After Hamas Attack.

A new political party was registered with the United Kingdom’s Electoral Commission regulator just six days after the Hamas terror attack on Israel and ensuing response.

The description for the party, as given to the Electoral Commission, states:

  1. We are a party who has been created to help all of the minority in the land of Great Britain have a voice
  2. We will make sure that all problems which lingure [sic] in the great country of Great Britain is defeated

Dozens of political parties are registered every year in the United Kingdom, with most either fighting small, local elections or doing nothing at all. It is unclear who is behind the new “Party of Islam” or if they intend to contest national elections.

The proposed party emblem appears to be an Islamic crescent with the words “Freedom is a Must” beneath it.
